M.Wonderful experience on my last visit with my family in Auckland. Room was very tidy, my kids love that. Excellent customer service at reception by Mr. Fayaz. Also the young boy Nick was very nice while checking in our hotel room. Amazing people and exceptional service. Restaurants staff was very friendly. Would love to book again on my next visit. Old hotel.
So no USB available to charge your mobile device etc. Old pink tiles in the bathroom with a modern vanity Wobbly toilet but it was spotless. Really good aircon nice and cool room.
So yeah old with some character but great value for money overall
s.This is our regular Auckland stay for a family of four needing 3 beds. Great value for money with nice bar and restaurant. Close to a large number of bars and restaurants in Parnell, but be advised if you are walking it is quite hilly
P.Friendly staff and right across the road from the parnell rose gardens so you can see it from the balcony if you stay at their balcony rooms. Has a pool so good to cool down in this hot muggy weather.
Only downside was the outdated plumbing in the bathrooms 1) fixed shower head so it makes it harder for kids to wash 2) water pressure of the bog is weak so you need to flush multiple times but that wasn't too much a biggy so still 5 stars
B.This is a hard one to score. The establishment needs serious upgrade investment, it has a tired appearance. That said, the rooms whilst dated are clean and adequate for a short term stay. Further positives are: friendly team, good on-site parking, surprisingly quiet for its location, and extremely handy to Parnell, Newmarket, Akld Museum etc in one direction, very close (via the Strand) to Nth, Sth and Western motorway connections (easy as), Auckland Uni, and the CBD via Tamaki Dr/Quay St etc. This means driving or bus or taxi services are straight forward. Our room was compact but workable. Tiny bathroom. In-house restaurant was a fail (severely overcooked everything, which was a pity as it's very convenient), bar services also on found adjoining restaurant on L.3.
Pricing ok I guess. Site is directly opposite the Parnell Rose Gardens. Trendy cafe is just a short walk up the road.
D.A good hotel, wonderful views over the Auckland Rose Park, and better views from the resturznt. Free onsite parking is a real bonus. Hotel is fine, a little outdated but when you look at the value for money, you cant go pass this hotel. The rooms have everything you need and are clean and tidy. Just 1 negative point, there were some asians that smoked outside but the ashtrays didnt seem to be cleaned. I was only there 2 days maybe they gave been empties now
H.Stayed here for one night with partner and 2yr old daughter. Had 2 queen size beds in the room and a nice view overlooking the rose garden. The room met our needs well and was comfortable. The aesthetic is a bit dated but everything was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and courteous. One weird point of interest - the shower head height in the bathroom was oddly a bit low. If you are taller than 5'6 you'll have to bend slightly to get your head under the water. All in all a comfortable stay!
R.Staff were very accommodating and helpful thank you . Had book via app and there was some miscommunication due to the app but the helpful staff sorted it all out. The dinner was lovely and the breakfast. Great location and lovely views over the garden that the elderly couple enjoyed.
T.EXTREMELY AWESOME Customer service!
Booked remotely for my parents who are elderly - my father is 76 years old. My dad also cannot use his phone/technology properly (i e. To access his covid pass via emails etc etc) and is not fluent in english. Duty Manager Lukas was not only extremely professional but incredibly helpful and accomodating, understanding that my father would need a bit of help checking in when i warned him beforehand. Breeze for my dad to check-in, and even offered to supply my dad with maps back to the hospital etc etc.
Without a doubt... would recommend this place highly to anyone.
Props to Lukas for going above and beyond and being truly exceptional. Highly appreciative!

The in-house restaurant menu is a bit limited for choice for extended stays, but the food is nicely done. The buffet breakfast is a good deal; in fact all of the meals are well priced. I would definitely stay again, easy to find & easy access to/from motorway. Staff are welcoming and approachable, a very pleasant experience.

R.This hotel is a good location, close to town with really nice walks all around. We have stayed before due to the location, and parking but this time we stayed in a refurbished room with a sea view which was well done, spacious, had comfortable seating, a new heat pump, and fridge. The room was very clean and also had reasonably priced room service meals. Will be back to stay in summer when we could use the pool.

A.We had a great stay ... weekend 2x nites at Rose Park Hotel. Comfortable and easy central city for commutes to other venues.
Oodles hot water and pressure shower.. rooms tidy comfortable, roomy enough for two. A great restaurant and sumptuous breakfast to start your day well! Lovely views out to Rose park and harbour.
We'll be back.

R.The staff are friendly and helpful. The wifi is sub standard and kept dropping out with a weak signal. I was in 126 and the shower hit me at chest height. Very difficult to shower. The beds are comfy and there is lots of on-site parking. Walking distance to Parnell street and eateries.

But the decor is very dated for the price I expected trendy. The shower is not suitable for tall people, and if you want a decent size towel bring your own...

N.I love the ambience of the hotel. It was quiet and tranquil. Staff were all friendly. We went for a tea time at the restaurant and i just love the atmosphere there and their garlic bread was awesomely soft and flavorful.

I have been to this hotel twice in the past. The first time I visited there was two years ago with the option two double beds, this had a family size bathroom with soaps and shampoo, towels, and flannels.
The room also included free coffee, milk, and hot chocolate, with sugar etc, along with a minkfridge.
There was a TV on a desk which you could easily watch from the beds, it had all the sky channels which was great.
Now along to the second time I stayed. I stayed there this year and got the option; double bed and two singles. It had everything listed in the previously paragraph, but the bathroom was smaller. It was more like a two person bathroom, this was kind of weird considering each room I stayed in had a max of 4 people to stay.
The buffet food was awesome, amazing variety of food. The buffet was nice and flash, has a modern look. All the food was cooked great, and the staff was excellent.
Even though it costs 20 dollars to access the buffet and each as much as you want, I'd say it's worth it.
N.clean and tidy. good prices and great location, clean pool. bathroom was tired but clean. Breakfast was not started on time so didnt get to have it.
A.Adequate accommodation. Nice restaurant for buffet breakfast. Bathroom in unit needed better cleaning. And great shower if your really really short but dangerous to climb out of shower over the side of the bath as it is a big big big drop down. Also would be nice to have a breakfast bowl in the room.

J.Quiet hotel with lovely rose garden to wander in across the road. Plenty of parking. Friendly courteous staff. No hair-dryer or bathroom fan so difficult to apply makeup looking in a steamed-up mirror. Shower over bath so two options there. Soap and body wash provided. Good range of delicious breakfast food provided in the restaurant with attentive staff to assist.
A.Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. Would highly reccomend to anyone going to Auckland for an event at the spark arena to stay here. Close to the main center and there is a dairy, cafe, bottle store, fish and chip shop and a few others just a 2 min walk away. Restaurant view over the gardens is beautiful, beds are comfy. All round great experience
H.Most staff are only there to collect their wages. The room we had has been revamped and has everything you need. Free parking is good. There is no air conditioning in the room. The exterior and hallways etc are looking very tired. This used to be a cheap, good value hotel, but not really anymore. There is a reasonable selection for breakfast, but the quality definitely doesn't have any wow factor.

H.Such a great place to stay. You can avoid the hussle and bussel of the city by using the port exits but still have the most awesome views. Rooms are a little dated but so clean and tidy. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Resturant is fantastic. Great food and service and lovely views as well, the rose gardens and down to the harbour. Parnell shops a easy 15 min stroll around the road.

R.Some of the room designs are weird. Bathrooms have a window that open into the hallway. So walking down the hallway makes for some interesting sounds. The shower head was at chest level for a moderately tall person. Other than that the rooms were good and the staff was helpful and friendly.
d.A great establishment,very comfortable rooms but....lacking air conditioning, of which I need. As soon as my body experiences temperstures above 25c,I start sweating. The staff regardless of which shift are exceptional and a credit to this establishment. The bar is very good and the food always top notch without the prices.
B.Experience slightly tainted as the reason we stayed was due to screw ups in our flight by Air NZ. Room was adequate but could not find any heater. Shower and bath were dated. Staff however were great, welcoming and friendly.
M.Exactly what we needed, had a concert in Henderson to go to. Very reasonable rates and free parking on site, super easy to get to and within walking distance of great restaurants and even spark arena if you're heading to a gig. Decor of the rooms is a little dated but it was clean and well maintained, will definitely stay again as it's great value for money.

L.Actually very good accommodation dollar for dollar it's good value in very special area. My thoughts on breakfast are extremely positive. The full cooked breakfast is good quality fresh and tasty. You'll find it hard to beat at the price.
D.We visited for a concert at Vector Arena and its a short walk from the Hotel. The place is not bad but needs updating. Room was tidy and clean and the bathroom had been updated although the shower was awkward, shower head was just above my shoulder, if you're tall might be a problem. Road outside is busy and if your a light sleeper could be annoying. Would I visit again, yes and good value for money.

A.Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the beautiful view to the Rose Garden which was the best hotel room view I have ever stayed. Very pleasant restaurant with Rose Garden view. Close to CBD, 15 min walk only or catch a bus and travel 4-5 min. Reasonable price per room. The only thing bothered me was towels in our room. They do not smell nice although they look clean. If I travel to Auckland again I will book there again for sure.

A.It's nice but doesn't have air conditioning do staying here in the summer is not recommended (which was we did). Other than no AC the rooms were clean even if only partially renovated and staff was nice and friendly. Good value for money given close to CBD and free parking! Having AC would make it my choice of stay in Auckland!
J.Handy to Parnell shopping. Very hot day and night, unfortunately the sliding door in lounge wouldn't open and windows on locks, stifling hot night and the ceiling fan couldn't be used as it was clicking and noisy, such a shame for the price. However good parking and good internet and a clean pool.
V.As per Auckland good quality - good price. Near the hotel you can find beautiful garden with roses. It is 5 min to the sea bay. You can have breakfast here.
Walls are thin, those you can here all what is going in near by rooms.
D.Clean, but very weird bathrooms by American standards. The tub was very high off the ground, which made the shower head weirdly short. There is a nice rose garden across the street, and in the morning there's a lovely view of it and a little but of ocean from the over priced breakfast buffet room.

G.The room was good, clean and comfortable. The beds rather too soft and spongy. The only real complaint is the poor wi-fi which was slow and only available for 2 hours a days and a maximum of 200 MB.
D.While the rooms are a little dated and threadbare in places, the staff are welcoming and helpful, more than making up for any minor shortcomings. Well located for State Highway 16 and Urban Route 6 but on a quiet road and a short walk from a pleasant park with views across the water.
C.Lift was broken. Basic accomodation. No air con. Noisy street. A lot of busses and heavy vehicles in the very early morning. Great value for money however.

Very nice area, nice apartments, parking spaces in the courtyard, city easily accessible by bus erreichbar in front of the hotel, highly recommended, reasonably priced, due to covid we unfortunately had to cancel our second stay, but it was no problem! L'hôtel est très bien situé, en face d'un très beau parc rempli de rose, l'accès au centre ville se fait très facilement, il y a plusieurs café restaurant épicerie pharmacie pas très loin. L'accueil et le staff super, la Chambre que l'on a pris était propre il y avait le petit frigidaire avec du lait frais à l'intérieur SDB et toilette très propre. Très belle endroit, et notre chambre avait une vue sur la skytower. Grand parking et free wifi au top.
