E.Very comfy and clean. Had everything u needed. Only thing I had a problem with was the bathroom ceiling it was all glass no shade. Akl sun coming through made tiles on floor and taps boiling hot. Perhaps this could be seen to.
N.Nice place to stay especially the front units nice views if the weather is good.if you have telescope you can watch view of houses on other side of bay
R.Great views, clean and tidy unit. Only let down is that the buildings are ageing and in some cases such as the loft rooms things like the staircases are very narrow and can feel dangerous. But it is also located near some awesome beaches, an amazing cafe and a handful of well known resturants.

Our great thumbs-up for the beautiful and conducive environment. The room was indeed new with nice aroma lingering the air, perfectly clean with nice cozy big bed. The beautiful sea-view was so relaxing and tranquil. Adding to the bonus points was your pleasant and obliging assistance. It has made our stay a memorable and non-forgetting experience.

B.We specifically chose this place for the disabled facilities in 2 of the rooms. What a great place it was. They were well suited for a wheelchair guest & all the facilities in the room were up to standard. Many places said they were suitable but Bucklands Beach exceeded our expectations. We would recommend this to all, not only the disabled.
S.The location is stunning and if stay at the front of the motel the views are gorgeous. However the Ooms need updating, guests seem to be able to do what they like, ,and we had to ask to get our room serviced as only one roll of look paper had been supplied. Car park area is a little tight at times. Overall a little disappointed.
S.It's a nice place but the bed was to big for the room.. not able to move
Frypan was to small to cook for to people as the bench space for room for prep.
The front units are the better but are up there in the over night price range.

J.Clean and tidy. Great host. Colour on buildings could do with an updated but the view from the beach front units are great. Very happy for the price. Will be back next time in Auckland.
V.We had a lovely stay in the main suite above the managers residence. Lovely view. Felt cared for. A bit frustrating without a wash up basin in the kitchen (only in the bathroom). The fridge is downstairs and keeps you fit. My biggest issue is that our 2 day stay was too short!

L.Spoke to Peter over the phone to check booking and what a lovely man, I then asked if I could get into my unit a little earlier than check in time, peter even went out of his way to call me and let me know the unit was ready early. Upon arrival we had off street parking, a spotlessly clean great smelling unit ( remembering this complex is older), amazing views, clean fresh linen and great size beds. A1++ highly recommend
M.Comfortable hotel with the most amazing views. I stayed here for a week in September and it was getting cold outside. But my large double bed complete with electric blanket were more than cosy. But this is a functional motel room more than a hotel with an oven and cooker and fridge freezer. And the view is out of the window into the room which is clean but needs a 21st century facelift. However, the room cleaning services were excellent and my room was cleaned and stuff replenished daily.
E.We were warmly greeted when we arrived at reception and immediately felt the friendliness of the owner at front desk who was calm, respectful and accommodating to our needs. We spent only one night in the Seaview Suite - Ground Floor and it was clean, fresh, modern, simple and convenient with great views of Bucklands Beach, local bars and restaurants (chinese & indian), convenient store, and more. With just a hop, skip and a jump to the beach we enjoyed the walk along the beach with it's spectacular views all around. We wish we could have stayed there a little bit longer but will definitely come back. Highly recommend to all. Many thanks from very happy customers!!
T.I really hate writing poor reviews especially when the people who own/run the place are nice. Units are clean and fully serviced. Current ***agement are working hard to refurbish the units which are well designed, comfortable and family …

Rooms quite enough. Got the odd person opening and closing car doors around midnight but have never been to a motel where this does not happen. Not the fault of the motel, guests in general are incinciderate when it comes to this.
The room we stay in the bed was very comfy able I slept in the single bed I'm guessing it does not get much use.
The shower was the biggest let down for the room. You are better to give you self a sponge bath in the sink. Hardly enough pressure to get the water to the shower head let alone have it come out the head its self.
I was convinced three must be something wrong with the mixer. Just get the correct temp and the drip comes out of the shower head and then it goes hot cold hot cold with out u touching the mixer handle. Not a good start to the day.
Reception setup is poorly designed. People have to park directly outside reception to check in. The problem is this blocks the entire drive way. Any body wanting to get in to their room via the drive way has to stop their car and wait for the person to check in and then move their car before they can get to their room
S.I can truly recommend staying at this place. Although I didn’t personally stay, I organised a large group to stay there occupying several rooms. The guests were all delighted with their accommodation & views, while I found Peter extremely helpful on numerous occasions. Will happily stay there ourselves should the need arise. Thanks again
R.We stay there Feb 26 tho march 2nd 2018 the staff was so amazing and extremely helpful the room was perfect we had a kitchen and a room upstairs and a bed down stairs perfect location to get to everything, we rented a car so we had free rang of the places to go. Will definitely come back to this motel again very quit and extremely safe not one issue with are stay can't wait to come back and bring more of the family next time. Will definitely recommen this place to everyone!! Did I mention that the beach is right across the st from here. Perfect just perfect do yourself a favor and book this motel.
S.Beautiful view from the front apartments but extremely run down. I would say over priced budget accommodation but the view helps to forget about the rest. A 2km walk to Half Moon Bay Harbour where you can have a bite to eat and a drink before walking back.
If you can afford the view, pay it
T.We pre-booked Bucklands Beach as we were at the end of our holiday and wanted somewhere quiet for the last days of our holiday and not too far from the airport. Mostly loved it because the staff were awesome. I will defiantly be staying here again and watch the new owners make a awesome place to stay.
P.Value for money and lovely location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Chalets are quite cosy and clean and tidy but are a little past their use by date. But overall we were very happy with our choice.
B.Wonderful position. Spacious living area. BR1 couldn't open door as it hit the bed. Another BR was a tiny box, no window. Upstairs BR was good.
Contact for reception given as 0 or 820 but 820 went through to other visitors.

I recently got married and stayed at the motel with my wife and many of our guests and all of our needs were catered to with kindness and professionalism. T.There are a few takeaways close by and even a dairy. The restaurant on the corner looks classy but we gave it the figure. We booked this motel online because it looked good and was at a reasonable price. Will certainly be staying here again on our next visit to Auckland.
T.The position was perfect and ***agers trying their best. The motel is certainly a little bit dated but it makes up for it in terms of what is on offer. I can't think of a single reason I wouldn't book here again next time we're visiting the rells who live nearby.
r.I definitely would not call this 4.2 star more like 3 star. Very run down but fabulous views. Very disappointing.
T.Handy for the ferry to Waiheke. There is off street parking but they even give you a secure spot within their compound. Our apartment had a fantastic water front view. A great part of Auckland, I hope this doesn't put travellers off heading out that way as there is lots to see and do out this way.
