We stayed here as part of MIQ. We are a family of four. Two adults and two kids (2 year and 10 months).
On arrival we were given two rooms and able to request a cot and highchair for the baby. The meals were delicious and plenty. They even asked if we would like anything especially made for the baby.
We had one room with a bath and one room with a shower. We enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light and the kids were able to look outside all day. Rooms are on the smaller side but if i was staying for a holiday and not quarantine i would definitely be happy.
The reception staff was fabulous. Everytime I rang with a request or question they were helpful and reacted quickly. We ordered a couple of countdown deliveries and they were brought up to our room within 5-10 mins of arriving at the reception area.
K.
Stayed here in MIQ. WiFi excellent, coffee excellent, bed very comfortable. Good food, too. I will come back to stay when it is open again to general guests.
M.
Great rooms, fantastic food. Small outside area. One of the best in Auckland under MIQ support. If travelling and returning home, you'll want to be sent here.
G.
We stayed for our MIQ 7 days. I would to say it has been awesome. Very organised armed forces and staff. I would definitely recommend staying here. Food is fantastic
S.
This review is specifically my experience during managed isolation and quarantine after entering NZ from abroad.
The MIQ check in procedures were long due to the number of travelers arriving, but worked efficiently and all hotel staff have proven to be polite, helpful and caring during a difficult time.
Any time I have called reception with a question I have been greeted with a cheerful hello and my questions have been answered politely with no hesitation.
The food has been excellent and I have joked with family that I may never eat this well again.
The room is comfortable, well supplied with everything needed and if I need anything extra I just call and it is sent up within minutes. The speed of room service is truly impressive even when family dropped off a care package at reception for me.
In the first few days I found the outside noise a little loud at night, but I am used to it after several days.
I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to other travelers, hopefully in less stressful times.

The staff are super responsive and make an effort to make your stay pleasant. Loved the light in our corner room, and the bathtub. Great food and coffees!

VISIT: end of February 2020
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay here with the fantastic and comfortable rooms!
STAFF: We asked for help from the front staff several times and they were always courteous along with the waitstaff at the restaurant
ROOMS: updated rooms in a quaint setting. I attached a photo of the shower floor which was an interesting design, but kept leaking out of the shower onto the bathroom floor, so that was a bit of a mess. The beds were insanely comfortable with plenty of outlets in the room
BREAKFAST: Unfortunately, we had early morning tours the entire time we were here and the restaurant wasn't open at this time, and nothing nearby was open. However, when you call the concierge we had our breakfast boxes ready by the time we went downstairs and they included a HUGE amount of food: water bottle, pastry, 2 whole fruits, container of yogurt with fruit and a sandwich!
RESTAURANT (Queen's Head Bar & Eatery): We frequented the restaurant regularly and was perfect as we got back from our tours late, so it was nice to have this as a viable and yummy option to have and relatively well priced, considering what we ordered. I actually hate eating at hotel restaurants because of the prices, but this was decent and convenient
ROOFTOP BAR (The Churchill): get there early for these fantastic views! Seating is very limited and we awkwardly stood and waited for a spot to open up anywhere. The outdoor seating is very limited, so I would suggest getting there early! Drinks were fantastic and I love the decor of the bar and the bartenders attire (see my review for them)
LOCATION: was a good walk (not light) to the city center. It is in a more deserted part of town however, so our morning tour pickups were just a bit haunting at times. Not necessarily unsafe, but just a typical city in the early morning with no light
A.
Descent stay.
The check in staff were friendly and very helpful. Already know you are coming and pre checking before your arrival. Once you arrive, just get your room key and have a good rest.
The room size quite small but the toilet big enough. The bed was super comfy for a good night sleep but unfortunately the sound proofing could be improved as you could hear the sound of traffic passing by.
Toilet are very clean and quite spacious. Amenities and toiletries are complete and meet your expectations.
Would have given five star if halal menu being include in the restaurant menu list.
Overall, good rest

We had to stay in the hotel for two weeks for the managed isolation and it was great! The view of the city and sunsets are beautiful, the hotel staff, as well as nurses and NZ army were wery kind and helpful. Beds are super comfortable and there was a variety of delicious meals! Very positive experience
J.
I stayed here for a fourteen day MIQ period, and was very fortunate to do so. The room was clean, bed extremely comfortable, view great, and good water pressure even on floor 17 (important when you are living in a small room for a fortnight). The staff went out of their way to make a requirement into a bit of a break, being consistently pleasant and accommodating. I’ll be back when the world starts spinning again
Highly recommended.

Day 8 of Managed Isolation. I couldn't have asked for a better landing spot. The staff are wonderful, patient & kind. The rooms are quaint, gorgeous views due to "window walls". Food portions are generous, you don't go hungry! If I were staying for leisure, it be a great location.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually cancelled our next hotel in Auckland for later in the week and rebooked at the Four Points by Sheraton. The location is within walking distance to eateries, theatre, cinemas, and the ferry. The …

Checkin was prompt. Room and bathroom were very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were so comfortable. Service at the hotel was top notch. We experienced a flat tire right before needing to leave for the airport and I was impressed that …

Probably more 3.5 stars. Great location and a modern hotel. The rooftop bar was great with good food. The downside is their attention to detail or lack thereof. Wrong name on the greeting placeholder in the room, rubbish from previous occupant still in the room, toiletries not refilled (shampoo, conditioner and body wash). A knock on the door just after 8am for housekeeping was just way too early. The elevators were infuriatingly slow with only 3 of the 4 working. To get to the rooftop bar we travelled from 15 down two levels below lobby to get the doorman to swipe the security card to allow us to get to level 20. To finish on a positive though, to expand on the location comment, it is walking distance to some great restaurants, shopping and public transport. We had no issues with getting around, but the hotel was way too expensive and combined with the issues noted above, would have us opting to choose another location based off this visit.
T.
We stayed here a couple of times and each time had a good experience. The room was a good size and very clean. Comfortable beds. The restaurant/bar on the top floor was really nice, great views of course and good selection of food. Really good Pacific oysters. Location is good, top of Queen St., so easy walk to tons of restaurants and not even that far down Queen St. to the Ferry Building. Will be back.
T.
This is a lovely, modern hotel conveniently located within walking distance of Auckland’s attractions. Staff is excellent, rooms comfortable with great views, full breakfast. Go to the top floor, The Churchill, for “gin with a view” around …
M.
Great Hotel, enjoyed staying here, got a nice small gym as well. Good room service, I got every day 2 bottle water for free, also the refill for the nice coffee bar. Had some nice view from my room. The bed was cozy and I slept quite well.
Best part was the electricity, there is a main switch for all lights close to the bed and the entrance, so smart!
C.
Best quality and service ever! I stayed for only one night but it was awesome. The manager and staff took care of me And my husband from the beginning to the end. I received a complimentary dessert for my birthday and also my room was …

Someone has to give a proper review.
Location is good central
Hotel entrance steep and small drive way, even through we checked in at night time 9pm 2 person at the check in counter only one service, check in receptionist was very prompt and efficient. Room wise size was good, beds are comfortable, The Air Con vent is loud considering it is on the lowest already, bathroom considering it as a 4 star hotel I haven’t seen one of these curtain showers in many years of staying at a 4-5 star hotel this was the only thing which made the room seem cheap like a motel, toilet paper is thin like public toilets. WIFI was free but disconnected often. Window blinds doesn’t go right to the end which is annoying in the morning. Compared to other Four Points around the world this is very very average sorry but the designer for this property was very very average. I still believe the best international hotels are still in Asia. honest review :)
S.
Great place to stay in Auckland, centrally located, friendly staff, top notch Buffett breakfast. Reasonably priced rooms. Was upgraded to a balcony suite and you can’t beat the views! Simply spectacular 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Rooms are functional with a modern design, free movies a plus when unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Would stay here again even if I got a better deal somewhere else.

We stayed at the Auckland Four Points for 5 nights in early March 2020. It was our first time staying at a Four Points hotel. The customer service was excellent all the way around from front desk to bell hops to housekeeping to restaurant …
S.
Beautiful, newer modern hotel a few short blocks from the Central Business District. Rooms are well designed, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a great selection of omelets, cheeses, breads, fruit, muesli and muffins. Service is excellent. We would definitely recommend and stay here again in a minute.
A.
The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean. Newly refurbished the style is tasteful minimalist. There is an excellent gin bar on the top floor but get in early as it tends to fill and there are limited numbers allowed.
The hotel is in an excellent position for walking directly into Auckland CBD
M.
Stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Auckland for 3 nights to catch up with friends on the way home from Tahiti. The hotel is well located in the city centre and close to where our friends live in Queen Street. The hotel is modern, …

Stayed using points and I couldn’t be happier. I was treated the same as a regular paying guest. The room was large, feather pillows (my personal favorite), light blocking curtains that closed all the way.
The checking in was a breeze and our bellman was a wealth of knowledge...funny too. We had breakfast there, and the flat white was so smooth and mellow. Great spot for a business meeting, right there in the dinning room. Valet parking is available.
A.
Nice and clean hotel, but the rooms are small. Good location, walkable to many things in the Auckland CBD. Yummy room service and nice and friendly staff. Great rooftop bar the Churchill with amazing city views. Big and clean gym which is always a plus. Nice hotel.
S.
This is the nicest larger city 4 Points I have ever stayed at. VERY friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff.
Great location on the corner of Mayoral and Queen Street. Hotel has the highest Rooftop Bar in the city.
I easily would rank dinner in the hotels restaurant as good as any St. Regis, Ritz Carlton, Luxury Collection, etc I've stayed at and I am a Lifetime Titanium member with plenty of experience.
S.
New modern hotel in the heart of Auckland. Rooms were spacious and clean. Good upgraded to a corner room as a Platinum member (thank you!). Service is friendly and efficient; check in/out was efficient and a breeze. Will definitely come back again!
P.
The rooms are awesome and the location is great for in town. This is a place that is close to everything. This was the first time I’ve been in Auckland and the stay at this hotel was amazing, especially after a long plane ride from the US. …

Was recently in NZ and stayed here five nights. The hotel is new and actually still under construction. I was on the top available floor and heard the construction going on above me. Hammers and cranes didn’t start going until after 8am …

The Auckland Four Points is located in a good part of town, about a 10 min walking distance to the main shopping street. It has a nice cafe and restaurant in the lobby. Although we didn't try the meals there, the coffee was great. …

After arriving at 5 am they offer early check in which we took advantage of to catch up on much needed sleep. The food offered in their restaurant was exceptional...our compliments to the chef. A free beer tasting was offered before our evening meal, which was an added pleasure. That evening we had the lamp, which was exceptional!!!
J.
Everything about this stay was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and had a great view of the city. The staff was also extremely polite and friendly, and did their best to make sure we had the best night at their hotel possible. Sometimes, the quality is definitely worth paying for.
v.
Best beds ever! Staff were great! Breakfast staff were wonderfully accommodating with allergies.
But seriously- we both slept all night, each time we stayed there, on a long around the world trip.
Wonderful places to eat close by.
N.
The moment you walk in the lobby you’re greeted by welcoming décor and the friendly faces of the staff who actually want to make your stay memorable. The location is prime and makes anything an easy walk within the city. The staff is …
A.
Nice hotel conveniently located by the Skybus and City Center. The main entrance is a bit of a hassle to get to but once you've checked in, you have a key that will allow access from the side which is much more convenient. The staff was helpful. The bathrooms were clean. Strong WiFi signal if you need to catch up with emails and such. We got a corner room with a view but there were so much construction going on, there was no point of getting a view.
D.
We are very happy we chose the Four Points Sheraton for our stay. There is major roadway/railway construction down by the waterfront. The hotel was only a 15 minute walk (brisk) to the ferrys and cruise ships, if you choose a more …
M.
Great hotel in Auckland. Near cruise terminal, ferry landing, shopping, restaurants, etc. Skybus Shuttle right next door. Staff is awesome. Very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the restaurant. Rooms are small but with cool modern decor and well designed. Comfy bed. Fluffy towels. Cool, convenient & comfortable. Best for business or short stays--nice but not ultra luxurious.
T.
Nice new Marriott group hotel. The room is decent (we got upgraded), very clean and modern.
The hotel itself isn’t huge, and we had dinner at one of the restaurants. The hotel is still in its soft opening period, you could tell as it was lacking some finishing touches. The waiters were a little fresh and still need some additional training. There were plates and left over room service in hallways - which was quite gross. We had to notify housekeeping to come clean them up.
Overall the room was nice, but the restaurant food was a bit of a let down. One of the main meals was very unappetising (don’t order the Vietnamese beef salad). The dumplings also looked like frozen ones heated up you buy at the supermarket.
The location of the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from all the action.
S.
A modern hotel located at the central of Auckland. The hotel is just besides a Skybus stop, so it is quite convenient to access from the airport. If you drive a car, they provide a choice of valet parking (50 dollars per night) and self parking(25 dollars per night, about 2 blocks distance). The room is nice and comfortable and the bed is soft. The breakfast provides a variety of choice and the guests can order omelette or egg meals. The staffs are nice but a little bit cool.
Overall, a nice hotel to stay.
C.
Hotel is beautiful and so clean. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Only issue we had was paying for more when we arrived and not being warned through website or anything that ontop of your room price is a bond and without that bond you cannot stay. Thankfully we could pay it and we even got upgraded. The rooms are new and clean and sadly no city view but still amazing big windows which help the smaller rooms feel more open.
N.
Its good place to stay in auckland. Also only one hotel of Marriott group.
Not so new and not so modern I think.
But its good location if auckland. Especilly to take skybus!
Breakfast is not so bad. Little bit more fruits in there is the best.
S.
Fabulous new hotel in a perfect location in the city - so much is walkable from here. Room was spacious and lovely, bed SUPER comfortable. Room was quiet at night. The skybus from the airport stops right at the hotel - perfect! First choice of place to stay when we're next in Auckland.
C.
My stay could not have been better, I was here for two weeks on business in May 2019 and was outstanding all the the way around/ Staff was friendly and accommodating, breakfast was always great, and the location really cannot be beat. Highly recommended.
R.
I was only here for 1 night, but it meet all my needs. I thought the room and all amenities exceded my expectations. The shower pressure was sublime. Great location especially with the Sky Bus terminal being right beside the Hotel, great …

We've stayed at Four Points 3 or 4 times and have always chosen it because we enjoyed the movie selections and the most comfortable beds. However our last stay, the movie selections are no longer available and our bed was extremely lumpy …

Great hotel! I’m pretty sure it’s brand new or at least it seemed that way. The rooms were stylish, modern, and spacious. They also offered easy off-site parking for a reasonable fee (Auckland is just expensive, regardless). It’s walking distance to just about everything cool downtown, and Uber was easy to use via WiFi.
We appreciated that they upgraded us to a room with an amazing view of the City Tower. It’s seriously a gorgeous hotel!
T.
Great hotel with friendly staff. One of the best Four Points hotel I've been too, very modern and functional rooms. Good view from the rooms. Breakfast spread is very good with quality and fresh. Good location as is close to the CBD and tourist attractions. Around the hotel there are lots of different type of shops and eateries. Generic amenities of the hotel is good.
S.
The hotel was very recently renovated and while the room we got was on the smaller side (as far as hotel rooms around the world go), it was modern and felt more cozy than cramped.
The service we received wasn't memorable, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Something worth considering is that the location isn't central and seemed right on the edge between city and suburbs so you had a 10 - 15 minute walk every time you wanted to get down to the night life/piers.
M.
We had a great experience at Four Points by Sheraton Auckland
Check in and welcome was great and the gentlemen at reception was very helpful. …
J.
We book a room to celebrate the NY of 2019. The room and bar can see the sky city fireworks directly. The service is great and facility is new. Room size is a bit small bit bathroom is great. We enjoy our stay here and the breakfast is exceptional even the choice wasn't a lot but the quality of each dish is so nice. The hash browns is freshly cook on order. It would be nice to have the flat white included as part of the breakfast.
T.
This is my third trip to Auckland in the last 5 months and I'm so glad SPG opened a property here. This is pretty much the only city that I travel to that didn't have a SPG, I stay at SPG properties >100 nights/year. This is a very nicet …

Great people and service was outstanding. Had breakfast delivered, food and coffee was so good. It was lovely to watch the sun rise. Room was excellent and bed was so comfy, easy check in/out. Relaxed environment. We would highly recommend.

At the time of our stay, it seemed like the hotel was undergoing renovations. It really has a great interior all over. The location of the hotel is just great when it comes to being easy to reach from the airport and that it is close to the …
A.
It’s all very new and clean, and was a fantastic “home” for our 5-day stay in Auckland! This is a perfect hotel for those looking to explore many different areas of Auckland while still being able to pop by the hotel to freshen up for dinner, grab a jacket and/or drop off your treasures.
It’s right on Queen Street, so while that means that it has the potential to be loud sometimes, it also was extremely convenient to be right in the middle of everything just by walking out the doors of the hotel. It’s right on the Sky Bus route from the airport, and you can walk to Mt Eden, the Ferry Building or any of the close neighborhoods of Auckland. K Road is 10 minutes away with great bars and restaurants that are a bit less touristy (expensive) but you can also be on the water in 15 minutes walking the opposite direction.
The rooms aren’t super big, but the beds are very comfortable and the windows are tinted to protect jet lagged sleepers. They also have free premium movies, as good as what you could find on your flight over.
The breakfast is fantastic, and as a Plat was included in our stay.
The gym is fine - 2 treads, 2 ellipticals, a bike and various weights.
I.
It is a good hotel in a fantastic location. Hotel-wise, nothing to brag about - especially for supposedly a Category 5 Marriott.
The people are very nice. The breakfast is good but not spectacular. I compare this against all of the hotels I have visited in the past 12 months in which I spent 150 nights in various hotels.
J.
Hotel Room and facilities were awesome, as well as staff in the front desk and housekeeping department.
I invited four friends to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant, but the …
M.
Front desk was crowded when we arrived. The desk clerk was excellent - helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and responsive.
The room was clean and well designed. Location was very good - easy walk to everything in town.
S.
Wonderful hotel on Queen st and its close to everything! The skybus is right outside and takes you straight to the airport. The staff are all wonderful and even let me check in early (8am) after my long flight! The only downside is that the showers are only divided by a curtain and the floor gets super wet! But other than that a great hotel to stay at!
P.
The staff at this place was so amazing and helpful. Very convenient downtown location. There was always a taxi cab waiting outside the hotel door.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Loved staying there!
J.
Good stay with great location. This place is located right on the end of Queen street in downtown/cbd. You can walk to most places in the cbd and the harbor from here.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating - all around. This is also the only Marriott (as of 2019) property in all of New Zealand - status gives you discounted breakfast which was pretty good with good variety and made to order items. The rooftop was good as well.
The only caveat that comes with the location is that the rooms are kind of tiny, and parking is pricey (valet is $50nzd /day).
But overall thanks to the staff and location, loved the place.
D.
The hotel is well situated to the downtown area. Easy walking to great restaurants, entertainment and the business center of Auckland. The restaurant inside the hotel is outstanding. Breakfast buffet is great. Great fitness center and very …
M.
Good location. The Queen Street door once you have checked in helps. If you arrive walking as I did, it’s hard to find the way in, an odd hike up the hill. Great staff. Nice gym downstairs (that’s how I found the Queen Street exit and entrance (with key). And the breakfast? Wow! Great!!
M.
Great property in a good location. Breakfast included as an elite was top-notch. Only issue was HVAC couldn't get the room below 25 C no matter what, same issue in multiple rooms on different floors.
V.
Hotel is located in CBD which made us convenient to walk around for shopping, dining. My room had a view of Auckland tower. Only cons was that it did not had parking available at their property and at times it was difficult to even drop off luggage as the hotel entrance had limited space for cars.
K.
Well located hotel in the heart of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful helping us find a decent GF restaurant for us to have a late dinner. Rooms are spacious however the bathroom is a little small. Decor is modern business like
d.
What a great hotel! My GF found it and it was the perfect spot for our first time in Auckland. The SkyBus stops are right outside the door on Queen Street. So easy and cheap ($36nzd r/t) to and from the airport. We were on the 18th floor and the views were incredible. TV was good, room was clean. WC was nice and big. Small coffee press in room, so if you like coffee, you'll need to get used to pressing a few times. Or go find drip/pour over (but that's hard to find). Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. We had a great stay. I would certainly stay again and hope to.
N.
Super nice, new hotel in the heart of Auckland. The room was really nice and because if my husband's status we got a lovely free breakfast! I was particularly excited because they did me an iced coffee (which I've been missing since moving to NZ.)
T.
We enjoyed our stay at the four points by Sheraton Auckland. Good location, the room is clean and comfortable, 24hrs gym room👍, free milk everyday, and especially very good service! 特別前台有一位華人女生,好親切好熱情。We definitely will stay here again while next visiting this city.
A.
Breakfast was very good. Drain for shower was too skinny and allowed water onto the bathroom floor. Room was nice size and very clean. 20 minute walk from the port and the SkyBus stop is in the same building... very convenient
K.
I have been in Auckland a few times over the last 2 years and this is my first time at this hotel. It is currently being renovated so that is warning number 1, my 2nd warning is after doing four laps around the block there is no parking and you have to park in public car park across the road (when raining like today it means you get WET!) 3rd warning the breakfasts are pricy for what you get and service is a bit patchy, I waited 20mins then I had to ask for tea and coffee.
Rooms are really nice, not very big but they have everything you need. They clean them well and I think that is great given the lack of time they give people to service rooms these days. My room had a lightbulb out and for three days it didn't get fixed, I didn't mention it as I wondered if their processes would find it.
Overall nice hotel but I didn't like the lack of front entrance and valet parking option.
J.
Staff, hotel, and room was all excellent. Stayed at Four Points in Brisbane and this one in Auckland was SO much better from a service perspective. The service during the morning breakfast was incredible!
C.
Pleasant stay at this centrally located property. Recommend corner room with Sky Tower view. Rooftop bar is nice for cocktails. Breakfast options were ample and service was good.
E.
It wasn't long enough. We came to Auckland to attend a special event in the evening and easy access was our focus. The location of our stay was significant as we were a large group. This hotel met our needs and expectations in more ways than one. Fabulous accommodation..fabulous service..friendly staff..great food.
A.
Overall, a well equipped and comfortable hotel in a good position for access to the city centre and all its amenities. I couldn't fault any of the restaurant, bar and lobby staff for their friendly and efficient service in this modern and very comfortable hotel..
佑.
Shared a room with my buddy for about 100 NZD per person per night here. Breakfast service was delicious with a wide variety of cereals, fruits and meat/vegetables.
The only improvement I would like to suggest is to please install a lock on the bathroom door. And a bathtub for the standard rooms would be nice too.
s.
This hotel offers a general good service and it is quite well situated. However, employees on the counter are not reliable at all. They can charge your credit card without giving you back a receipt. Never leave this hotel without checking out with a receipt. There is no way to contact them. Quite disappointing.
F.
They took great care of us even though some of their floors are just coming on line. Much better restaurant amd breakfast than US standard. Also right in the middle of the university district so many restaurants within 2 blocks. Excellent choice in downtown Auckland
F.
The hotel is located at an excellent location, very convenient if you take the Airport Express from the airport. Located near major shopping centers. Visit the Churchill on the 20th floor for excellent views of the city. The room and bathroom were excellent.
D.
Overall I think the experience was good but a few little notes to make. Firstly I thought the staff was great, and food (especially breakfast) was above expectation. Things I didn't like was around the design of a new hotel - room was tiny, little consideration towards appropriate room lighting (positioning, colour, access to switches), and internal bathrooms lacking privacy if sharing with someone (frosted glass with gaps at top & bottom). Also reception called to tell me my laundry was ready but my room was displaying "do not disturb" - kind of defeated the purpose in using it!
M.
Over-nighted at the Four Points while moving into longer-term accommodations to shelter in place during the outbreak of the coronavirus. The staff was courageous, professional and extremely considerate towards their guests in the face of …
T.
Outstanding. Great to see Sheraton hotels back in New Zealand. Sheraton has done it's self proud with this Queen Street hotel. Elegant, stylish, luxurious, 5 star accommodation. Excellent staff. In house restaurant also fabulous. Over all the Sheraton is the kind of experience that makes you feel like royalty. This hotel takes it's place amount New Zealand's finest.
K.
As a gold member, I was upgraded to a spacious corner room. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff that check me in was a trainee but he was very well trained. We will definitely stay here again.
J.
This is by far the most satisfying stay at Marriott Hotels as a Titanium member. I was in the hotel at 2am for a booking that was not confirmed by my travel agent. Since it was a full house at the hotel, Robin and his colleague went out of …
E.
Beautiful luxurious hotel. Has a sky bus stop which is really close and convenient. The only short coming is that pickup/drop off is confusing and my Uber is unable to come pick up me and my luggage directly outside the hotel.
R.
Four Points Auckland was fantastic! Great location. Great service from a friendly and attentive staff. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but it never disappointed. Our room was clean and bright, with a great view of the city.
M.
Hotel condition looks quite new. Located in a good position in the city with public transport to / from airport easily accessible. For muslim, there is a mosque nearby at AIT campus and halal eatery available throughout the area. Very accommodating with decent internet for the millenials.
J.
Nice to see a Marriott property in Auckland. Always a consistently high standard property wherever I have stayed and the Four Points by Sheraton in Auckland is no exception. Friendly staff, comfortable quiet room, close to the downtown core …
K.
Good location, just a few minutes walk to CBD and 15 minutes to ferry terminal. Good size room, honored late check-out for Platinum members and just behind the hotel is the Airport bus which gets you to Auckland Airport in about 45 min for $17NZD
K.
The room was spacious, modern and very clean. Very convenient location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
The room service was however very slow and disappointed that no one has got back to me about me leaving my charger and adapter in the room after calling and speaking to Reception
K.
Lovely little hotel, staff were a delight. Would have been awesome if I could have got a room with a bath, but the shower was fantastic so I'll let that slide :)
The only downside was that when I arrived late on Saturday night the bar had closed, but don't let that tarnish the place.
B.
Excellent, good for business stays or lesuire stays. However, there isnt much parking, and valet costs $50. …

Good location, close to Skytower. We requested an early check in after along flight from USA however had to wait 3 hours before getting a room ( though was still early in day). Room was very small. Issue with valet parking: no one for valet …
J.
Nice interior in a good location in Auckland. Rooms were nice and it was very close to the main road (queen) and close walking distance to ferries and busses. Decent breakfast in the morning and comfortable beds.
S.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Auckland and within easy walking distance of the Sky Tower, ferries and shopping. This hotel has only recently opened apparently but the staff were definitely on their game as all were attentive, polite and helpful. Recommended!

If you are going to the Aotea Centre, this hotel is the one to stay at. It is a 1 minute walk away. It is clean, comfortable and friendly. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. A couple of minutes walk away from the Art Gallery and City …

Friendly staff and reception. Although I came one hour early, my room was ready and I was able to check in early. Room is very clean and new. Bedding is of top-notch and comfortable. The single bed room is relatively small but cosy. Gym is well equipped. Hotel is within the walking distance to all shops and restaurants and major venues including Aoteo Centre. Skybus lounge and bus stop are just next to the Hotel. It is a very convenient and economical way to travel between City and the Auckland Airport. There are many restaurants and Cafes close to the Hotel. Countdown supermarket is 5 minutes walk away from the Hotel.
I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend for people staying for lesiure or business purposes 😉.
S.
Long weekend visiting our son in Auckland. Handy Queen St location. Front desk were attentive, as were server staff in the restaurant. Well presented, tidy and reasonable value for money. Gym is basic, but enough there for a basic workout.
K.
I truly enjoyed my stays and its location in the CBD and proximity to services and restaurants are hard to beat. I was able to walk to most of my destinations. It was safe and well insulated from noise. Count on having fitful nights’ sleep
J.
This was a wonderful stay, and concierge Harry was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered was delicious.
However, the air freshener used in the lobby is very overpowering .
A.
The Four Points Auckland was an amazing hotel to stay while in Auckland. The rooms were spacious and the staff we professional and helpful. The location is not a far walk from the harbor and other main attractions. I plan to stay here when I return to Auckland in a few days!
J.
This is a brand new hotel. It amenities are top of the line and the service is great. It’s located on Queen Street which it provides easy access to downtown, but is just far enough away to escape from the noise and busy parts of the city. Lots of food options nearby as well.
T.
Excellent room at a good price. Very helpful staff at every stage and a wonderful overall feeling to the whole place. Restaurant looked very good and was very convenient. the rooms were excellently furnished and had a very good range of services available.
A.
Room was very comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast was good. The top part of the hotel was still under construction when I was there which made the elevator a little slower and entering hotel more difficult. Location excellent for walking around downtown.
K.
It was my first time in Auckland and I chose this hotel to stay.
Pros: …
A.
Immaculate room with super comfy beds with stunning view of city and sky tower, clean and modern bathroom. Enjoyed our night away in a luxury hotel - wish stay was longer.
P.
Friendly, well designed hotel in the central city. The mobility room on the 10th floor had a super high bed, very difficult to have a shower when the shower head faces the wall and it's too high to reach.
C.
Extremely modern and luxurious. The service is fantastic, and consists of what you would expect from an old film - "sir's", "mam's", opening car doors for you. At one point, a young man hurried after me to the elevator to press the button for me, because "it's what they do".
Worth every cent, stay here if you have the opportunity to do so.
D.
The hotel is clean overall and Ned, with modern design. The food selection is poor and the coffee provided to guests can be better. The employees need more training.
S.
Great stay at the Four Points for two weeks to complete my MIQ. Lovely staff, clean rooms and great food. Thank you so much.
G.
Nice modern hotel good location quality staff we had a corner room on 7th floor and there was a fair amount of street noise at all hours but this isn't really hotels fault. Very comfatable bed nice bar area Overall I thought it was pretty good.
J.
Be advised, the rooftop bar is not yet completed as of Nov 2018. Great spot, good food in restaurant and a fantastic staff. Good location. Newly opened and still under construction they are working hard to learn and get fully open it appears.
J.
More like a higher end butique hotel than the Sheraton economy properties we see in the US. The is a restaurant and bar on the lobby level and a bar on the upper level.
We were upgraded to a corner room which was really nice and spacious.
D.
Great hotel, with excellent staff , who are eager to meet your needs. The hotel is conveniently located to almost everything, shopping, tourism and dinning. Most importantly not hard to walk to too.
T.
Newer hotel located along Queens Street. Can walk to everywhere downtown and nearby are buses to outskirts of downtown. Airport bus is just outside the hotel. Room is clean; bathroom is modern; great breakfast in restaurant.
E.
Very clean and neat room with a very nice atmosphere. Super nice staff which made us feel very welcome. Also a big plus was the TV which had a huge selection of movies free to watch.
S.
Great location with very helpful and friendly staff. Everything is appealing about this hotel. Beautiful decor, nice comfortable rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
K.
The Hotel is well located for Auckland Central with easy public and private transport. The private vehicle entrance is narrow, you have to look carefully for it or you will miss it. …
f.
right on queen street, near restaurants and walking distance to sky tower in Auckland. Room is clean except the fact that my window is looking directly to a building that cover with plastic outside . Breakfast buffet is good ,but coffee is weak .
M.
Everyone was soo friendly and provide all services. Room was so clean and tidy. One think i don't like is rooms are not sound proof. People shouting on road and cars honking late night which disturbed me alot while sleeping otherwise best place to visit and staff really friendly.
D.
Good hotel in the center of auckland. Nice, modern rooms with a wonderful view over auckland (only if you get a room on the top floors). Here and there are some untidy spots but I have to admit, the building is still in construction.
J.
Decent hotel near everything. Easy walk to the Ferry Terminal and the Tower. Theres a rooftop bar with nice views of the city. Theres also a restaurant and bar in the lobby.
M.
New trendy hotel, very clean and in a great location. Has a gym and a cafe downstairs. There is no seperate lounge for spg platinum members. Some of the room layouts are slightly strange.
M.
The place is just ok. 3 star hotel. Parking was expensive 90nzd/night. But valet. So its okay. Room was ok. Bed was comfortable. Bathtub a bit small if to fit in 2.. 😂 No bidet..
T.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Theatre for the comedy festival and it was recommended by friends. A newly refurbished hotel this is a really high standard place to stay, in terms of surroundings and staff.
A.
Nice and fairly new hotel close to the university and other hotels. Lots of parking and food choices nearby. About a 15 minute walk to the water so it's not too far. Keep in mind that walking back to the hotel means walking uphill. Could be a problem to some.
K.
Newly built hotel with spacious rooms, modern, clean and in a very convenient location. the restaurant offers nice dishes n decent prices and a nice breakfast buffet or coffee to and pastries to go.
S.
Hotel was pretty new, good CBD location, big sized room, bed was very comfortable. The weekend package offered super good value, definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is centrally located to an area where there are many restaurants and shops. If you prefer not to leave the hotel, there are dining options in the hotel. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly.
a.

P.
Great place to stay... just around the cornor is the very famous sky tower of Auckland ... hotel is in a very good city center place. All the main attractions are within stones throw...
M.
The room was on the small side but the bed and pillows were very comfy and the decor stylish and modern. We loved our stay.
Y.
Great hotel for business traveler. Bar has cold drink after a long day, and if you really nice to the chief, he may cook you something special for the evening.
J.
Very nice, the rooms are on the small side but are very modern and clean. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. Great location in the heart of the city.
N.
An amazing gin bar only bettered by the 180 degree spectacular view of Auckland's CBD and the harbour beyond. Suprisingly reasonable gin drink prices with more gins than you can poke a stick with!
S.
New rooms. Friendly staff. Not in the middle of Auckland, but very nice. I would stay again. There for business, has desk and loads of USB.
A.
Nice new hotel, stylishly decorated with all mod cons. But were disappointed that we had to queue to get in to the Churchill bar and not given access as a hotel guest.
P.
I recently stayed here for my son's graduation and it was the perfect location.
The bar and restaurant were excellent, the beds extremely comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
