玛.Great place to live at least 2 months. Nice rooftop for fireworks from sky tower, clean bathrooms, huge kitchen, everything you need! nice people.
j.Friendly staff, the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and nice. I stayed for 2 weeks in a 6 dorm bed room and I had a great time. The people who are staying there longterm are great and even though the hostel isn't small, it's still very personal which I love. You gotta pay for the wifi, but you can share one code with other people so it's really cheap in the end. Highly recommend if you wanna stay in the city centre!
M.Reception stuff was friendly. Bathrooms modern and clean. The common areas spacious and comfortable. But the main thing why we booked the hostel was horrible: The beds have been very hard and out dated. Made noise with every small room you did or anyone else in your twelve bed dorm did.
Luckily we stayed there only one night. Because the signs posted literally everywhere in the hostel made it feel like a prison with rules rules rules and penalties for everything. Not cool!
j.Great location in the centre of the city! Amazing rooftop for chilling during the day. Real fun and friendly atmosphere. Ideal for anyone maybe looking for a long term stay in Auckland. Shoutout to Alberto on reception, real legend!
H.Good things about it: Location is a plus. Close to the Queen St, Bank, stores, restaurants, bus stop and Albert Park. You can get in everywhere from there. It's a cheap option in case you don't plan to spend lots of money. Kitchen is big, although it could been more equipped. The hot-water filter was very useful (no need to boil water all the time).
Bad things about it: Don't expect a very clean bedroom, because it's not. Rooms are cleaned once a week. The mattress and pillows are so old and unconfortable that you must take a little bit to get used and fall asleep. Apparently, the staff members are also LIVING there, so don't expect much cordiality and warmness from them. Just the basic. Nothing special about th rooftop: wood tables in a large area, and wind. The most terrible thing is: the elevator does not up from the ground floor to the first level, so you have to walk the stairs when getting to the hostel. If you have luggage with you (my case), good lucky on carrying everything with you on the stairs to the first floor.
M.It was great! Nice and comfy beds, toilets were clean shower are big and good but could maybe have a towel on the ground but all in one its a good hostel!
C.I've been here for few weeks already and I can say this hostel has everything you need, rooftop area, 24/7 kitchen open, TV room, drinking rules. Highly recommended.
A.Nice place to stay as the hostel is located in the citycenter, just one minute from the nice Albert Park for Relaxing and Queens Street with all the shops and not far from the waterfront/quay.
Toilets and showers are really very clean and quite new! The kitchen I can't assess as I didn't use it.

H.Really nice place. Stayed there for a while and the staff is chill, if you behave. One of the few hostels that has a roof top which is open untill 10pm. Close to supermarket, trainstation and Albert park is pretty nice too

Everything about this place was perfect, from the cleanliness to location and all of the staff who kept me with a smile on my face. After my 4 month stay I would recommend FRIENZ 10/10 times.
P.Friendly staff. Cheap and clean bathroom. No credit card over charge (some hostels required you to pay extra 3% if you use credit card). Have computer for unlimited internet. And it is close to downtown
G.Very clean and comfy. Rooms for around 10 to 20 people. The hostel has lockers and all day offers different activities and free food
N.For some reason I got placed in the long term bunks but the shared services and quarters were great. The limited wifi was a bit of a drag but it is a great location and a really calm and friendly atmosphere.
J.Though beds can be a bit sqeaky, the showers are amazing, toilet is cleaned often, and washing machines present are very useful! Perfect for groups!
