N.Room was very large, clean and safe. Comfortable and quiet. Shower head was unpredictable, almost flooded the bathroom out as pressure was to strong for the fixture. Such a good idea to make an old memorable building into accomodation. Only stayed one night with my group, we all were happy with our rooms.

R.Stayed here 3 nights all up. The first room had the first 2 nights was nice but the last night 2nd time stayed was much nicer. Big long room. Great shower and spacious. Comfy bed. Good facilities. Bar fridge also. Fizz etc. Only thing is was noisy 2nd time stayed with people and trains. Altho they finish around midnight. And back about 6am. Friendly staff. Good location
E.Good value for money. Very unique space! Old school station, very old. Honestly a little bit creepy at times but our room felt safe. Bathroom was clean and quite new and comfy bed.
V.Better than it looks. No issues with the room or staff. Very clean. Location is ok but on the edge of the city. Feels and looks low rent and unlikely to stay again which reflects poorly on me.
B.We had a room on the 3rd floor this stay that backed onto the railway lines. There was a bit of noise from the trains but not to bad. Our room was a new fit out and was very clean and tidy. There is a TV, kettle, iron & hair dryer in the room. This place is right next-door to Spark arena so perfect if you need somewhere to stay for gigs there. They also have parking available for $15 a night.
M.We enjoyed our stay so close to the Spark Arena. No issues with sound levels which was good. The room was very good, and well serviced. The building is a bit run down, a bit cold, and the staff aren't very available at the desk, however overall we would stay again.
A.Location was great in terms of it being accessible but not right in the city centre, right next door to the Spark Arena so great if you're going to a concert but not sure what the noise would be like if you weren't at the concert but staying in the apartments anyway. The building itself is extremely interesting as a renovation of the old station and still has a lot of original decor in tact. The room was nice and modern, light and quite spacious.. There were a couple of things about the cleanliness ie smears on the front of the microwave, tea stains on the side, hairs in the bathroom that prevents it from being five stars but otherwise it was a really great place.. would definitely recommend.. we were however in a room overlooking the train tracks and so the noise disturbed me but my boyfriend slept through it no problems... not all rooms are over that side though I don't think, so I guess it's pot luck.. there was an extra surcharge added to the price of the room which I wasn't expecting, because we paid by card but it wasn't a credit card it was a NZ bank card so? But it didn't amount to very much like only $2-3.. overall we really enjoyed the stay and would stay again
G.Dominic and Kitty run a really nice restaurant and bar. The accommodation is clean and really well priced. It where me and my older brother Peter stay when we go to a concert at Spark Arena. It's only 50 meters away. Food is awesome and very well priced with a cool atmosphere..... close to the supermarket and city centre.... definitely recommended

Common kitchen facility, laundry facility. Entry through access tags and keys. Internet service options available- separate payment. Close to supermarket, train station, bus services and 10mins to CBD and Auckland universities.
H.Fantastic location for a concert at Spark - literally next door. Nice clean room.
The website states carparks for $7 a day but they only have 4 available so this did cost $50 to use Wilson's for 2 days. Need another mirror in the room. One in bathroom for 3 girls getting ready for a concert lol. Great shower.
G.Frankly real good for the price. 75$ for two per night, with a king size bed. You can leave your luggage for free at the front desk, room cleaned everyday, kitchenette, free good wifi... Thumbs up!
M.Helpful staff, spotless room, modern bathroom, nice breakfast and good value for money. Only issue was noise from the corridor (which could be cut in half if they oil the door hinges), and the passing trains. But very happy overall and would stay again.
T.Polite and helpful staff, I accidentally booked for the wrong day and they fixed everything up for me. Fan supplied but could use airconditioners. Bed comfy, pillow a little flat. Overall a great stay in a great location
T.For the price it was good. But expected more for the upgrade to a King Deluxe room just seemed like a double room. Lovely customer service.
C.I have stayed here on three occasions and love it. The proximity to the CBD is fantastic, the rooms are clean and spacious. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful. I just love that I can stay in a building that is so iconic to Auckland.

s.Clean, neat and simple room. Super comfortable beddings. Also value for money in this area. Nearby: Sparks arena, Asian supermarket, a few Korean restaurants, and just about 20mins to walk to CBD area (where you can find food alley with variety of Asian cuisines: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thai, Vietnam, India etc)
N.I had great experience at the room on the ground floor. The ambiance is great. Thank you for the staff for their kindness and helps. The price/performance ratio is unique.

T.I was surprised at first with its old style railway station buiding but the quality I got is five stars comparing to the price I paid. No trouble staying there. Convenient location.
N.Even though it's clean and tidy the furniture state is less than expected. The closet contains only three clothes hangers (see the photos).

d.Redevelopment of old rail station. Internal mar le pillars remain leaving some of the classic feel to it. Just go to the bar in the foyer for a drink and see for yourself

D.Grand Central Apartments is a good choice for those looking for accommodation within the Auckland CBD. It is 10 minutes walk from Britomart Metro station and within convenient distance of the University of Auckland amd AUT, and many other important locations in the city. Rates are very reasonable for a city centre accommodation and you can get them cheaper when you go for long term deals.

Dość specyficzny hotel. Bardzo ciekawa architektura, dobrze zachowany dworzec. Obsługa sympatyczna. Pokoje bardzo proste i bezosobowe, ciepła woda i generalnie czysty pokój i łazienka. W naszym pokoju nie mieliśmy szczególnego problemu z hałasem.
A.(Translated) Positive: very good location for driving the Northern Explorer. The old station building has style. The apartments are new and clean, the breakfast in the lunch box ok.
Negative: have never felt so unwelcome. Film recordings were made on arrival. We were driven out, despite the fact that we were guests. We could not be offered a parking space for a short time to unload and check in. We had to circle by car and wait until we got to the room because of the filming. No apology or courtesy came from the hotel staff. Nothing. Obviously we disturbed as guests. Then it would have been better to close the hotel completely.

Positiv: Sehr gute Lage um mit dem Northern Explorer zu fahren. Das alte Bahnhofsgebäude hat Stil. Die Appartements sind neuwertig und sauber, das Frühstück in der Lunchbox ok.
Negativ: Habe mich noch nie so nichtwillkommen gefühlt. Bei Ankunft fanden Filmaufnahmen statt. Wir wurden, trotz Hinweis, dass wir Gäste sind, vertrieben. Ein Parkplatz nur kurz zum ausladen und einchecken konnte uns nicht angeboten werden. Wir mussten mit dem Auto kreisen und wegen den Filmaufnahmen warten bis wir auf das Zimmer kamen. Vom Hotelpersonal kam keinerlei Entschuldigung oder Entgegenkommen. Nichts. Offensichtlich störten wir als Gäste. Dann wäre es besser gewesen, das Hotel komplett zu schließen.
