K.It's such a wonderful, clean and quiet place to stay. Either City and supermarkets can be reached on foot from here. Kitchen offers hot water for tea or instant coffee 24/7, a wonderful tranquil and green terrace... we had such a warm welcome welcome after our 30h flight to New Zealand. Thanks very much to all the team!
L.Very nice beds quite comfortable, rooms are quite small as are facilities but great value for the price and location. My second stay was in a larger room, Very nice and roomy for the price. Haka lodge also has laundry facilities onsite ($8 for washer and dryer $4 each)
D.Overall great homey hostel, the location, atmosphere, and beds were among the best I've experienced. The only area where I'd say this hostel lacks is the size of the kitchen as it gets full quite quickly - luckily there is a lot of outdoor table space to prepare food as well. Excellent experience!
M.I stayed here for almost 2 months and I felt like I was home. Beautiful hostel in one of the most beautiful areas in Auckland.

L.A beautiful and newly opened hostel with nice areas like lounge, garden and kitchen. It’s located near Ponsonby Road so evening is easy to reach and you can easily find a place to go out in the evening. I really enjoyed my stay, everything was clean all the time and the staff was absolutely friendly.
I will definitely come back soon :)
L.I found myself really well at Haka Lodge. Reasonable price, Nice rooms super comfy bed, clean and tidy, Naomi(or Noemi? Sorry!!) has been super nice and they refunded the nights I wasn't able to stay after finding a house. even tho I checked out at 4 pm. Super recommended! Keep it up guys!!
S.The place is nice, beds are comfortable and the facilities are clean. Only thing to note, is to bring ear plugs if you’re staying on a weekend as the music from clubs on Ponsonby Rd can be heard loud and clear and kept me awake all night.
L.Great hostel, not too crowded, beds are really confortable. It has all the facilities needed and a nice garden. The bad point is that we had only one bathroom for 2 rooms so 10 people which was not enough.
k.My family and I are very happy and satisfied with our stay at Haka lodge. The location was very good as it was only a walking distance to some really nice restaurants and other establishments. Room was also clean and very spacious with Android smart TV!:)
I.Brand new hostel with high quality dorms and private rooms. Nice and cozy common spaces such as lounge, kitchen and garden where to enjoy a fun and relaxing social atmosphere. Amazing staff and Ponsonby area. Felt like home!

M.Way better than Haka Logde K Road imo. It's more familiar and you also have a garden, the people there are more relaxed. It's clean everywhere.
Especially when you just arrive from a long flight this is the best place to relax

p.Great location, clean, great wifi. There is a bar close by which they sometimes karaoke til 2 am.. I think cause it was a Saturday. This is close by to a lot of places we visited. Walking distance of a few miles

R.(Translated) I stayed 1 week in this hostel after recommendation. Really great, no regrets. A few small problems with soundproofing, but despite that it is a pleasant place, with a small garden behind, where you can eat and enjoy the sun. Not very far from the center (for a big city of course!), Easy to walk there. The people working there are very accommodating, after 30 hours of flights, I obviously arrived a little too early to get my room, they obviously let me take my shower and put my things down, etc.

Je suis restée 1 semaine dans cet auberge après recommandation. Vraiment génial, aucun regret. Quelques petits soucis d'insonorisations, mais malgré ça c'est un endroit agréable, avec un petit jardin derrière, où on peut aller manger et profiter du soleil. Pas très loin du centre (pour une grosse ville évidement!), facile d'y aller à pied. Les personnes travaillant la bas sont très arrangeant, après 30h de vols, je suis arrivée évidement un peu trop tôt pour avoir ma chambre, ils m'ont évidement laisser prendre ma douche poser mes affaires, etc

Auberge très propre, salle de bain nettoyée tout les jours. Pas bruyant la nuit. Pas trop loin du centre si la marche ne vous fait pas peur. Et la cerise sur le gâteau, les réceptionnistes sont hyper serviables, bien au delà du strict minimum. Si je dois revenir à Auckland, c'est ici que je logerai.
T.(Translated) It located in excellent area of AKL. The dormis 4 are quite comfortable and spacious. Very good kitchen and multipurpose space. I would not end up closing that there is no reception in the evening. But it is common throughout the country.
