I recently stayed for a week and after driving from Wellington was looking forward to relaxing before a very full week of business meetings. I was welcomed and given my room details and secure car park. The Hotel and room were nice, clean and comfortable. I entertained there 3 times in the evening and the food was great.

Great stay at Heartland Hotels Auckland Airport - Very happy with facility as a whole, rooms were very comfortable & clean. Food & Bar service was also great - due to covid restrictions breakfast was room service but was actually a bit of a time saver so enjoyed this as well! Thank you Scenic Heartland Hotel Team

Came here last year for work, had to bring the kids again during school holidays. Clean, tidy, comfy beds, aircon. Reception and restaurant staff awesome and yummy food, thank you. We really enjoyed the pool and spa too.

Amazing team! from the welcoming receptionist, cleaners, room service teams all the way to the van shuttle drivers for the hotel as well as the pool cleaners :) all round amazing team. We stayed for 5 days and wished to have stayed longer but we will definitely be back with a bigger group this time haha. They were so quick and sufficient with the services we needed with, towels, toilet paper and coffee top ups. Each receptionist were very welcome every time we would come back from doing our daily outings they would always welcome us with a smile every time saying “welcome back” just those little things were amazing to us. Room was cheap and had plenty of space for 3 people. Kudos to all the team at The Heartland Hotel you guys are amazing! Merry Christmas.

We stayed for three nights and had a great experience. The rooms are showing their age but are perfectly acceptable, tidy/clean. Staff were helpful/professional. Our young boys enjoyed the pool which was in excellent condition. We ordered food a few nights and it was excellent. We did notice the odd person walking outside past our open window wearing masks and I can only conclude they were from the neighbouring Sudima hotel which is used for MIQ (getting some fresh air etc). Regardless, I can recommend the Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport.

I stayed here in my way through Auckland. The service was excellent right from the outset with Adele helping me out with changes dates for my stay, to The two shuttle drivers (amazing service, really kind and friendly people) to the front of desk staff. The room was very clean, had black out curtains and all amenities. Brilliant. Will definitely stay again.

First time stayers, Great place would recommend to family's, the pool made the kids day. Awesome customer service we were looked after and catered for all our requirements. We had a fantastic Xmas stay. Thank you Heartland we will come stay again when we are in Auckland.

The staff here were so awesome!!!! Started with the free shuttle from the airport, the driver was so friendly and helped me with my bags. The woman at reception was also so lovely, she helped me book a taxi and print out some forms I needed for my upcoming flights, and booked me for a late checkout since I had a later flight. Then I had dinner in the restaurant (delicious) and the staff there were so fantastic too! I really appreciate all the people here and will recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Auckland. Pros: Free shuttle and close proximity to airport, good free wifi, very spacious room & bathroom (with a bath), private smoking/vaping area out the back, good restaurant food ❤

Hotel is tucked away in the better industrial area of Mangere. I found it difficult to locate + close to the highway - lots of noise through the night. Room was clean and of a high standard.

What a great place to stay!! We spent 2 nights at Heartland Hotel Airport which was a 'spur' of the moment get away with my 13 year old son & we were a little bit disorganised but the reception staff & manager were so helpful & also, 'Wow' to the chef cause my dinner last night was 👍👍

Rooms are clean, staff are friendly, beds aren't too bad and the meals are great. Pool and spa outside is at nice temp.

I have only positive things to say about Heartland Hotel. It was very comfortable, quiet, with friendly and efficient staff and drivers and great food! The shuttle bus to and from the airport couldn't have been more convient. The pool, spa, gym and lobby were just opening up after lockdown. I didn't use them but they looked great.

We really like the room and hotel service which is top notch. Special thanks for allowing early check-in. We would love to stay here again

Family of 2 adults and 3 children. Very nice comfortable rooms. NZ went into Level 4 lockdown but the staff were very polite and helpful. Room service was fantastic with great food. Staff maintained great hygiene and customer safety.

We stayed at the Heartland as we had an early morning flight to Raro the following morning. Was very happy with the room, size and bed configuration. Room was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar before dining in the hotels restaurant for dinner. Super convenient and a good price.

Enjoyed the free shuttle to and from the airport and service was friendly. My husband and the kids wanted to watch the rugby playing on the big screen in the lobby so the waitress from the hotel restaurant brought their meals out to them, which they really appreciated. Beds were comfy and the adjoining rooms with 2 big beds in each room was perfect for our family of 5. A fire alarm went off in the morning and the staff handled the evacuation well. Thanks for the pleasant re-entry from our Raro holiday!

We booked the night before and for two nights, & were recommended the standard room with 2 queen beds, located on ground level & allocated the disabled parking spot just outside our window. The room had wheelchair access & was sufficient for our immobile 70 year old Mum with her 20" self propelling wheelchair to enter and park the chair in the corner of the room. A small table (with chairs) was right height for her to sit at in her wheelchair. The wet room shower catered her showering needs with wall mounted shower chair for her generous weight - however the water would travel to corners of the bathroom so towels helped soak it up. The housekeeping staff are a great strength of the hotel, as they quietly sorted an embarrassing issue with understanding, & upon return later to the room, they'd sorted it & then tucked a warm blanket over Mum's bed - they probably surmised it was the person's bed that needed it the most - a thoughtful touch given it was mid winter & not requested by us - very touching. I regretted not informing them earlier of any possible extra bedding needs as I thought we'd be ok but someone forgot to pack extra supplies. The Warehouse nearby handy to purchase the shortfall for our second day's stay. The hotel is alive with patrons (and families) coming and going. Desk staff were prompt and helpful. From upstairs excitable kids traipsed down the corridor and stairs, noticeable but not much of a nuisance. Laundry facilities (pay to use @ $2 per load, $2 for laundry powder from wall dispenser enough for 1-2 loads), old school machines that did a wonderful job with specific settings on the drier for delicate fabrics. Four star hotel in need of a few touch ups here and there (excluding the front entrance) that would bring it up to standard - they owe that to their staff. Tidy rooms, nice clean bathroom with complimentary quality toiletries & recommended.

Was handy to from airport and only 15 to 20 minutes away from my training course at mazda headquarters. Good food and room was nice and quiet. Would recommend to anyone else to stay and I definitely would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay!! Starting with a great check-in, lovely clean and nice room, yummy room service and a perfect nights sleep. We would highly recommend and will be back. 10/10

Everything was smooth, very speedy pick up from the Airport, quick checkin, very nice room, nothing missing, perfect room service even in Lockdown. On top, they even informed us, that we have a flat tire, while we were on holiday. Could not top all this! Thank you team of Heartland Hotel.

Great location for a quick fly in and fly out. Bed was average very ridged in the middle. Service was friendly, bar staff made a nice latte. breakfast never arrived despite handing over the order at the desk the previous night, didn't have time to dine in the restaurant once it hadn't shown. Disappointing as it was a breakfast included charge. Solid 3 1/2 out of 5

I enjoyed my stay. The room was basic but very comfortable, quiet, clean, and the location to the airport and work is excellent. Added bonus is the secure parking. Restaurant on site serves well priced decent food. Staff were lovely.

Decor is a bit old, appliances etc too. Restaurant was surprisingly quite good, friendly staff and good quality food.

comfortable stay at short notice. room was clean, warm & had all we required. Bar was great, dinner lovely with good service. Some people in the spa were noisy but nothing terrible and the lady organising the shuttle was a bit short when speaking to the driver. The driver the night before was great.

Awesome service, great help and lovely with my children (3yo and 8yo boys). Kids loved the hot tub and our room, close to food and last minute shopping (I had to pop out to postie plus for boys clothes at about 7pm at night). Yummy breakfast and super amazing staff.

I recently visited NZ for the night to pick up my 95 year Grandmother. I needed a place for us to stay overnight (she was driven to Auckland) so we could fly back to Australia the next day. The Heartland Hotel was perfect! Such friendly people and very helpful. Have to say, the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in accommodation. We had an enjoyable meal delivered via room service that evening too. Overall, a great experience.

From the moment the shuttle arrived to the time I checked out, I was impressed with the service. Polite, friendly and profressional. My room was super clean and fresh and the food was lovely. Thank you to everyone for looking after me. I'll be back next time and I've already started telling friends about you. 20 out of 10 :)

Very Clean, Quiet and everything close to hand. Would recommend

This is the third time I stay at the Heartland. The staff are always very friendly and willing to assist to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Housekeeping always kept my room spotless. I really like that breakfast now includes a hot breakfast instead of just the breakfast menu and continental. The food is also amazing, especially the pork belly. Thanks again for the pleasant stay.

We come here for Board meetings and the team at Heartland Auckland Airport always look after us well. They bend over backwards to make sure the meeting gs run well and the food is excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

Recently stayed at Heartland hotel in Auckland. A little smaller than the average hotel in the airport area, Heartland managed to feel a little more relaxed and intimate. The lobby area incorporates a bar and tv along with the reception backing on to the restaurant "room". The two evenings I dined in, I enjoyed a satisfying selection of food with the garlic bread and the steak being my favourite. I was sleeping late due to night shift and found that hotel quiet in the morning for that all important sleep in. Overall a nice place to stay.

Good accommodation closer to Auckland airport and staff is great and to top up all of it food is divine.

This time around i loved my stay! very welcoming and engaging staff memeber who was full of life and joy. Room was so good i ended up sleeping in and getting late for work! ha! loved my stay! big showers, nice firm beds and pillows. Just awesome! love it!

Great Hotel for our 1 night Airport layover. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was lovely.

My go to airport hotel in Auckland. We arrived early and asked if they could store our bags until check in but they had a clean room available so we were able to check in earlier then 2pm and this was extremely appreciated to keep our stuff safe and to get more rest from our holiday. Thank you.

Great service by friendly staff, appreciated the shuttle service to the airport. Was put in a downstairs room so had quite a bit of noise from staff and guests coming and going but otherwise was a great room and really comfy bed.

Good Value for Money - Rooms were clean and spacious. Good Parking close to room. Did not use the Restaurant so can not comment on that. Spa pool does need to be hotter - hence not 5 Stars

Excellent service from my welcome in at reception to opening g the gate for my departure . Meals are top in presentation to the taste and amount on the plate . The staff all excelled at there stations in assisting with any needs I had and all smiles thankyou to the team .

What truly wonderful helpful friendly staff that went above and beyond to help, during these particularly difficult travel times. The food was so yummy and tasty and it is reasonably priced too. Only 5 minutes from the Airport and the courtesy Shuttle makes it very easy to get back and forth. I should know I had to use it 6 times trying to get a flight to Australia on compassionate grounds. Traveling on your own it is always nice to feel safe and acknowledged by the staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making my experience so much more bearable.

NIce hotel, the rooms are tad dated and they had some issues with water leaks while we were there. The staff were very welcoming and did their best to make sure our stay was good and our meeting well catered for. The meals were also very good. Big shout out to the staff for shuttling me to the supermarket and back at no cost.

I used this hotels carpark when I was flying to Wellington. Cheapest overnight parking in airport region. Free Shuttle to and from the Auckland airport every half an hour. I paid $25 for 2 nights. It is not a roofed car park. Tip: They serve nice coffee (around $5) if you need to wait for the shuttle.

Location is good. Reception was ok, but unmanned when I arrived. Parking convenient. Rooms pretty basic and relatively clean. Linen etc was fine, but detailed cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch (very dusty around bedside table, sticky goo on the bedroom wall). Bathroom clean and ok. Shower was hot but water pressure was low. Ordered breakfast but one of three items was missing. Vending machine in corridor was partly out of service but otherwise convenient. Kinda like the poor brother of the Sudima next door. Oh, and the aircon didn’t work properly so I had the window open all night - and the traffic noise was loud.

Great service last night down in reception/lounge, scotch fillet was nice, apparently Beef bgr a bit salty, need to change menu online as differs from one in restaurant. Clean room, comfy bed, ok shower. Coke can in swimming pool put us goin in, spa looked good.

Heartland Hotel close proximity to the Airport. Great location close to the airport, and very convenient too. The customer service is great, staff were very helpful and friendly service with a smile. I highly recommend this place too.

Has an adjustable air con unit in the room. No microwave etc. Plenty of parking. There isn't anything (supermarket, food places) within walking distance so need transport. They do offer free airport transfers.

I went with my husband in a wheelchair we both had a queen bed each it was beautiful especially for me being the caregiver I pushed both beds apart to give room for the wheelchair. The assessable bathroom was easy to move a wheelchair around with a lot of room for the toilet and shower and washbasin he can turn around in their. The room service was excellent for dinner we ordered a 3 course meal it was more then enough for 1 person. For breakfast it was more than enough for 1 person. I loved my stay here because caring for some one in a wheelchair it has given me time to relax and also care for myself. I don’t have to do any shopping cooking or cleaning the dish. I clean my room and put the sign up don’t disturb and relax till we go out for the day. AAA review

Adele’s team of Professionals have always excelled in their efforts to accomodate me at very short notice. I would (& have) recommended this establishment many times on Trip Advisor & Google. On this particular occasion, there were no rooms available when my roster had changed but around three hours later I had a call from Alice on Reception asking if I had found accomodation (which I hadn’t) as there had been a cancellation. Thus, I didn’t need to fly to another city to cover my requirements. Absolutely terrific service!

Outside looks like a beautiful resort but the rooms are very dated, shower very weak glad I didn't need to wash my hair. Otherwise perfect location with free easy shuttle to the airport, very friendly staff

I stayed at Heartland Hotel due to flight delay and I was really lucky with the airline's hotel choice. The transfer available for the guests is a great option. The proximity to the hotel is a nice thing because I could take my time to be at the airport. At the hotel, the greeting was nice, and the check-in fast. All required information were clearly provided by the reception staff. The room was clean with all the necessities, and very quiet although it is close to a busy road. The restaurant actually serves surprisingly good food, with simple but efficient decor and ambiance. I had dinner and breakfast there and the staff was nice there too.

Food and customer service was amazing! Only problem was our room was freezing and we couldn’t work the heat pump to heat the room up. There could have been electric blankets on the bed to keep us warm as well, as there was only one blanket in the wardrobe if needed. Also shower and bath water was not hot even though it was on the hottest setting the whole time so a little bit of a disappointment.

Hotel was situated close to the airport so was great for our early morning flight. Was very quiet, no road noise or anything and beds comfy so got a good nights sleep. My son left something behind in the room and when I rang the hotel from the airport they had their maid service check the room and when they found it offered to bring it to us at the airport on their airport shuttle service, very happy, excellent service. The room was big and comfortable, check-in /out was smooth, and the airport transfer worked without a hitch. Don't stay in room 132 though. The smoking area is 30 cm from its window and people were arguing and talking loudly, sounding as if they were in our room. The $26 breakfast was was not worth the money, but the staff were friendly.

Very professional and courteous staff across the whole of the hotel. Excellent restaurant and bar. Great location for staying close to the airport. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable. Restaurant closes at 9.30pm but I believe room service menu is available. Airport shuttle service also available.

rooms were pretty average but had everything you needed. service was awesome and welcoming. nice and tidy place with a good atmosphere. gym is under par but understandable for an airport hotel. shuttle was fast and prompt. the reason I had given 4 stars was for the rib eye steak on the bon, absolutely delicious. thanks heaps.

Very good hotel in a very quiet area. The staff are very professional and friendly. Very close to the airport and an easy drive to the motorways around Auckland. The room was a good size and very clean. I do love a room where you can turn off the fridge easily. The restaurant is very good with a slightly limited menu but tasty options. Will definitely return.

This hotel is fine. The breakfast is amazing, by far the best aspect included in this hotel. The rooms were okay, blandly decirated but quiet. The surroundings of this hotel are not really nice but I guess you shouldn't expect much from an airport hotel. The service was a miss. The people who work here either dismissed our questions or stayed in silent and confusion as we asked them. They are also painstakingly slow at checking in and out, which results in long lines that are a chore to get through, especially when you have a flight coming up soon.

Me and my family haven’t even been our first night and we have already chosen that we are definitely coming back for a stay ,not only is the food out of this world but the workers are beyond kind and are making sure we have a good time and wishing my sister a happy birthday by upgrading our room for free, and putting a candle in my sisters desert thank you soo sooo much I hope more people check this place out

Great hotel closeby to the airport. Transportation from the airport was easy as the hotel offers a shuttle with a rear trailer for luggage, I was able to comfortably fit my bike bag onto it. Everytime I stay here the staff are very polite, pleasant and happy to help. Would recommend.

First, the airport was great. The shuttle was available 10-15 minutes after you hang up the phone. The shuttle driver mohammad was very helpful to take us to the airport again for currency exchange as we need NZD. Second, The room is spacious, clean, the amenities are well organized. Third, the ladies in receptionist “Ann” is very helpful Recommended to stay here

Had to stay overnight in Auckland due to a delayed flight but couldn't fault the Heartland Hotel. The shuttle drivers on both trips were super friendly and didn't complain about the heavy luggage and even took the luggage right up to our room. The reception/check in staff were also friendly and very helpful as were the staff in the restaurant. The Heartland Hotel made a very stressful and unplanned situation into a pleasant experience - plus the room was lovely. Would highly recommend them.

Lovely hotel, very modern and clean and staff were friendly and efficient. My only gripe was the breakfast. We went at 8am and it was already running low on everything and a bit uninspiring. There was no butter so my toast went cold waiting for it and when they brought some out it was near frozen and couldn't be spread anyway. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay but I would get breakfast at the airport.

This is a big standard Airport hotel. I was put up here when my connecting flight had issues. The staff were nice, the food in the restaurant was nice and the bed and room was relaxing and well done. This would be a good place to stay if you need accommodation near the airport, the shuttle bus was fast and the driver had was the happiest, friendliest guy ever, asking us all where we were from and telling us about his country of origin. Anyway yes I enjoyed my stay here, unplanned as it was.

We had an unexpected stay in Auckland overnight and found the hotel very clean and comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was much appreciated. The girl on reception was extremely helpful and booked flights for us for the next day, thank you.

Great staff, fantastic reception and clean rooms, with lots of space. The restaurant is average at best, but they try to make it worth the money. The kitchen is quite slow. The coffee bar makes very good coffee. Generally a good hotel worth your time. The gym is well equipped.

Me and my family had an amazing time staying here! The customer service was so great and friendly! The staff were amazing, we had secured parking, the swimming pool was amazingly nice and cold then spa was great after it. The food was so delicious I'd highly recommend this hotel it was so convenient to alot of the locations we were going to ! 5 star rating!!!

Great experience, bonus is the free shuttle to and from airport, the convenience of being 5 minutes from airport, air conditioning in the bedroom, swimming pool, vending machine on each floor which is great when you want a snack and the service was exceptional. Friendly, efficient service from the free shuttle through to check out. Happy to recommend.

We were impressed with the location and how quiet the room was , since the proximity is VERY close to the airport and freeway. The Runway in house restaurant was much better than we had anticipated. The service was very good and the food , well, compliments to the kitchen , delicious. The front desk was quick and efficient and asked all the right questions. Do you need a wake up call and do you need a shuttle in the morning. I highly recommend staying here , for an Airport Hotel , it was very good.

Looked nice, only there for 4 and bit hours from 4.30am as stuck in Auckland after plane diverted. Nice clean room for 4 hours, reception nice, open and clean.

Nice simple place. I think it's a bit strange that they don't change your bed linen unless you request for it to be done.. Had I known that I'd have requested it when I paid for my 2days stay & checked in..

A very convenient and affordable hotel if you're looking for a place close to the airport. The restaurant and bar are both nice with a varied menu. The coffee leaves something to be desired however. The rooms are spacious and air conditioned, but a bit dated. The bathrooms were very large, and ours has a bath. The water pressure was great. They provide a free airport shuttle, which was frequent and convenient.

I was booked in very last minute due to a flight cancellation but everything went very smoothly! Free shuttle picked me up from the airport and took me back the next morning. I didn't get her name, but the staff member working during the evening on Friday 29th May was absolutely amazing. She drove the shuttle, checked me in, took my room service order and brought the food up. Talk about multi tasking! Thank you Heartland for making a stressful trip a little easier.

Rooms were of a good size, as close to airport as poss at present. Secure parking. Easy to find. Bed was comfy as.

Nice rooms, nice Jacuzzi, tasty cuisine andclose to the Airport and free shuttle bus there. However, lady at reception told us that we have 50$ per person for meals and the next day, different receptionist during check out told us that it was 25 per person and we had to pay extra money... That was very unprofessional and left some digust.

Our stay was just for one night in order to get to the airport very early the next morning. The hotel had parking which was great. I booked the room online, king bed with a spa tub. Booking process online was easy. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. The spa tub was regular bathtub size, I wish I would have known that in advance. I would not have chosen the spa room. The restaurant menu was a bit limited, but the food was good.

The staff are super friendly and accomodating, which was just what we needed coming in from an 11pm flight with a toddler! They left us a personalised card to welcome us back which just made our night. The facilities are also top notch, I would highly recommend this hotel

Wonderful hotel, spotless clean, comfy beds and fantastic service. We had a lady in training and bless her she was very confused at what she was doing, which didnt help with us having a tired baby to be put to bed. Eventually she worked it out and she took us to our room, and we had a great stay.

Great spot close to the airport and Park and Ride car park. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast options included in the Bed and Breakfast price. Options to store your car and get a shuttle to the airport too.

We had a flight cancelled from Auckland TO San Francisco. The airline booked this hotel and a lot of the people on that flight were put here. They handled this very well and it had great rooms and food. Would recommend this, a 5 min drive to the airport

A bit pricey but very well located for the airport, that could be just because we had to checkout very early to catch our flight. Room was quite large, I think we may have been upgraded from what we booked but nothing was said at check-in. Popular place, we arrived just before a large group so everything went smoothly and quickly for us, the large group was around for a while. Bathroom was large, products nice, the shower head was very high and not adjustable, but it was a comfortable pressure. I'd stay again, for an early flight.

Our room was more than adequate, clean and tidy with everything we needed available but, oh, the traffic noise was hideous. Room 331 was on the side facing onto the main road to and from Auckland Airport and it was like sleeping in the middle of a motorway. Noise did drop off for an hour or two around midnight but was not conducive to a good nights sleep. Staff were efficient, polite and helpful. Our evening meal at in house restaurant was very nice, we maybe back as hotel very handy for early morning flights but not to that side of hotel ever again.

We had stayed at this hotel before so were happy to rebook. The airport pick up was convenient and friendly. We were picking up a rental car the next morning and as it wasn't busy they kindly dropped us off there rather than taking us back to the airport. Very helpful. Checking in and out was fine. The room was fine with a big bathroom. Unfortunately the service in the dining room both at dinner and breakfast let the hotel down. All the staff we dealt with need to go on a customer service training course. We were not offered drinks at dinner nor were we told there would be quite a wait for our meals due to a group being fed before us and the other people in the dining room. They could have explained and asked if we wanted to order say garlic bread to keep us going while we waited. The main course when it turned up was very tasty but very small and expensive. As there is nowhere else to eat nearby you have no other choice. At the buffet breakfast items had run out so we had to ask when it should have been someone's job to keep an eye on the buffet and restock when necessary. There was still over an hour of breakfast time left. My partner had to ask for coffee twice. I was not even asked if I wanted a hot drink. All basic restaurant service stuff. We have another night booked, which we were going to change to another hotel but as we won't be needing to use the restaurant we have not cancelled it.

Highly recommend Heartland Hotel. We have recently stayed there for business trips and the rooms were clean, tidy and quiet and the food was great. Lovely place to stay. Will use again.

A great option if you have an overnight layover in Auckland. It’s not a bad walk from the airport if you need to stretch your legs, but shuttles are easy too. My only small complaint is it was a bit noisy. Nothing major, but I could hear movement from the surrounding rooms and hallways.

My flight was cancelled and the company I was flying with organised this hotel on my behalf. It was a nice clean hotel, comfy bed, spacious room and had a decent bathroom too. The hotel restaurant served nice food. The hotel had vending machines for drinks and snacks, they also arranged free shuttle to the airport. Would recommend staying here if you are flying from Auckland airport due to the convenience.

I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed to get an automated wake-up call at 3:45am that I hadn't ordered. The aircon unit above the door was very noisy and is in need of repair. Thankfully the room had another heater that warmed the room nicely, but I only found it when I was looking for a power socket to charge my phone. It was pushed to the back, beneath the desk. Can I recommend a curtain for the window in the bathroom of room 101? It felt awkward taking a shower or using the toilet with groups of people boarding their bus right outside the window. Even though the glass is mottled I could still see their frames and movements, so I assume they could see mine too.

Needs a makeover to drag it kicking and screaming out of the 90's. did have nice new tiles and a fresh (if not good) coat of paint in the bathroom, but still lavished with ugly Formica everywhere, you need go-go-gadget-arms to reach the loo paper if seated. efficient staff and service. 10/10 for that. Restaurant has no atmosphere, too bright and white for a relaxing evening meal (would have been fine for Breakfast, but not open when i had to depart)

Bonus of free shuttle transfer service. Good value for the money. Have been here a few times over the years and have always been happy with the service and the room. The balance of the Hotel had limited facilities however the main purpose for travellers is to catch an early flight.

I've just raised this review from one star to three. I've taken a week to calm down before I wrote this review. An 'event' that I won't elaborate on happened while I stayed here. Now this isn't the first time I've stayed, but it will be the last. Having said that, I won't go into detail as it's literally one employee (I assume) that has ruined it for me. At the end of the day though, the front desk staff and one of the managers (Tim) went out of their way to resolve the issue for me and for that I am far more appreciative than they would have seen at the time. Back to the review, the room was very nice and comfortable, and as I said, the majority of the staff are lovely and at tentative. The dining, unfortunately, leaves a little to be desired. The dining room seems like it's a side room or ex boardroom they've pushed you into and the food was adequate to yikes (how do you ruin bacon???). Then, they go and serve me one of the nicest steaks I've had in a long time. lol At the end of the day I won't promote them, but I will say I've stayed there more than once, as I said earlier. I'd peruse more reviews to make your decision, but once again, thank you Tim and the front desk staff for your assistance to try and resolve an untenable situation.

It provides the free shuttle bus to the airport which might take 5 minutes. The room is big and clean, but a little dark. There is no shop nearing the hotel. However, it’s really convenient for travelers who need to transfer or will departure tomorrow.

We love the hotel's proximity to the airport, and most importantly its 24 hr shuttle bus to the airport. Our stay was made even more pleasant with Dave, shuttle driver who picked us up and sent us to the airport on 23 March 2019. The only downside about this hotel is that the hotel doesn't have a business center. Thankfully because of the free shuttle & wthe hotel's proximity to the airport, we get to check in and get our boarding passes directly from the airport.

We chose to stay with you because we have used your parking offer previously but didn't stay and we have found the parking to be very convenient, secure and affordable. We chose to overnight with you this time as we now live out of Auckland and we wanted to park again with you and the experience was very pleasant. We had a very nice dinner with you and found the room to be comfortable for the overnight stay. We would recommend this as an ideal option for anyone wanting to park their car whilst overseas.

Rated 3 stars and rightly so. If you do choose to stay here insist on a room away from the motorway. The breakfast menu options for room delivery is better and by their own order card is better than what is on offer later in the "restaurant /dining room ". Having said that the ribeye steam for dinner was perfect to my request. Facilities OK not great .

We have visited this hotel the first time and definately not the last time. Everything was fantastic. Super service, comfortable and spacious room. Shuttle service perfect.

Stayed overnight and a good experience all round. Dined in the dining room and the meals were very good. Our room had sound proofing so at least once we got to sleep we weren't disturbed although there was a family that arrived next door to us and we were able to hear their conversation.

Close to airport with free airport transport every half hour. Bathroom needs some cosmetic renovation. The aircon did not cool the room to what is normally expected. My family found it difficult to sleep as a result.

I was most pleasantly surprised during my stay at this medium sized hotel . Apart from the hotel having pleasant decor , comfortable beds, very clean rooms , the super helpful staff made all the difference . From the people at reception , when checking in or asking for a later checkout due to a bad headache , to the great restaurant staff when I came down to breakfast at finishing time due to this headache .Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after me superbly. It’s at times like this that you find out if a hotel hs true heart . .

The plan was to book a hotel close to the airport and close to the car rental where we had to return our rental. A/C, TV and toilet amenities were OK as well as cleanliness of room and halls. We had the disability unit and it was very comfortable & suited our needs.

Air Parking Services is the best place for leaving your car at the airport. Have used a dozen times now and a seamlessly easy booking process online, pay, park, drop off leave. The shuttle service is very quick, reliable and efficient. Highly recommend to those flying out for a few days to a few weeks.

Probably a 3.5 as it is good for what it is...a very convenient, affordable and quiet airport hotel. Dated sparse rooms, no clothes cupboard..but I guess you don't unpack...No iron etc, good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. I give it another 1/4 star for the excellent bed.

We've stayed here over the years but the service has definitely declined and they now charge exorbitant prices for fairly standard rooms. The redeeming thing is that it's close to the airport, you can leave your car there (for a fee) and there is a free shuttle to/from airport.

Had a cold shower, no hot water on the Thursday night. Hot water was ok Friday morning?? All night I could here someone talking loudly and when I went down to reception at 320am your guy was on his phone in the bar lounge. Once back to bed he once again was back on the phone, Apparantly that is a good time to call India!!

We stayed here at Air NZ's expense and were fortunate to be allocated a suite. Nice ro have the extra space after our long journey from Tokyo and Singapore and then an aborted domestic flight home. Restaurant and food was adequate, however kitchen forgot the bacon for my ceasar salad. Waiter did put that right when I questioned this. Shuttle staff punctual and all staff helpful.

I have seen it in other reviews that the air conditioning was hopeless and I agree with that statement. I understand that the price($300 per night) reflects how close the building is to the airport however I have been spoilt by other motels at $200 a night who can supply a free continental breakfast. Your cleaning staff were very approachable and helped lots(Yes you do have swimming pool towels in the laundry with the blue stripes, counter person said there are none). If I was stuck for a bed I would use again however it is not my first choice sadly

We choose this hotel for our last night in New Zealand before an early morning, but this hotel is much more than a convenience option. It has very clean and big rooms, a free wi-fi connection and it offers a free shuttle to the airport. We had dinner in the restaurant and we ate one of the best steaks ever.

This was very convenient as we needed accommodation near the airport. It is a large establishment and also had a dining room serving dinner and breakfast which when arriving late in afternoon and nor wishing to chase about for meals is an advantage. The room was comfortable although only one room plus a bathroom. Wi-Fi was provided free although at lowish speed. Dinner prices were very reasonable and the food good and the continental breakfast we chose had plenty to select from although in case the price was a bit high.

I stayed at the Heartland Hotel for 4 nights while on business in Auckland. The room was a good size and unusually it had a separate bedroom. I found this to be a positive as I could work in the lounge/Kitchen area and have a separate sleeping area. The downside of this was that as it was humid I needed the air con on all the time and the airflow didn't quite reach the bedroom which made for a restless sleep. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The room was straihtened and stock (towels, tea & coffee) replenished daily. I have no complaints over all.

The room had everything that we needed. Best thing was the proximity to the airport, being able to park the car while away, and that they had a free shuttle that could take you to the airport. I would stay here again.

Heartland hotel is a convenient and relatively comfortable place to stay near Auckland Airport. A regular shuttle service is provided which avoids Auckland traffic and therefore a stress free connection for flights. Not 5 star luxury, and perhaps a little attention required to cleanliness, but comfortable enough.

Very helpful and accommodating in these tough quarantine times. This is the third time we have stayed here and always receive top service with pick up and drop of to the airport and the hotel stay.

I decided last minute to stay at a hotel having arrived from Coolangatta at midnight and not wanting to drive to Rotorua on a dark and rainy night. My reason for staying here is because of its handy location to the airport. The hotel provided a complimentary shuttle to transport us from AKL.

Only complaint is that the bathroom is so cold. Apart from that all was great.

I waited for 15mims for it to get hot and nothing I Called staff and they couldn't care less. Room turned out to be noisy from within the hotel, not from outside noise like traffic or planes, as we had feared. We found some of the staff to be very rude and unhelpful.

I found it brilliant , Getting of a Plane after 30 hours travelling , walking to the information centre at Aukland Airport, dialling 30 on the free phone and picked up by the Mcdonalds sign outside in 15 mins. Two adults and three children perfect.

My only experience this far has been using the air park service.. it's quite good and much cheaper than the airport valet service, which is better for my client..

Basic airport hotel, nothing fancy but gets a 4 because they were super helpful and responsive to my enquiry about my 1am arrival time. Their shuttle picked me up in minutes.

They are a great place to leave your car it is so affordable and they will drop you off and pick you up from the airport no matter the time of day or night.

Stayed 24 May and found room and restaurant good value. Unfortunately I left behind an item of clothing and despite contact via the website and email, had no response.
