D.
OK, so the room we had was not big at all. But value for money was good, given a reasonably late booking, so can't complain.
However, where the ibis budget really impressed, was how helpful the staff were. Nothing was too difficult. They helped us print off a bunch of critical documentation for our flight, stored a huge number of bags safely overnight and were super friendly with our exhausted kids. Thanks so much!

Standard single bed Room
Pros
Convenient location, 2min drive to airport.
Airport shuttle
Nearby cafes, warehouse, kfc, etc all walkin distance
Room is clean
Cons
Room is SMALL….but clean.
You cant open the window. So not really for the Claustrophobic.
Not much space if you have 3 or more suitcases
Room is basic and simple. If you looking for an overnight stay or just a simple easy place waiting for your flight, this will suffice easy.
B.
if you just need a place to sleep its great.. clean and tidy facilities.. not very big room but comfy bed did need a 4th pillow as only 3 on the bed but overall good value.
K.
This is a friendly, very clean, budget hotel. It was neat, tidy and the bed was comfortable. It has restaurants and a supermarket close by. Was perfect for a between flights stay.
A.
The hotel was great. Excellent service, very clean and conveniently located to the airport. Great price with everything you need
V.
One of the best check in experiences we’ve ever had. Efficient, friendly and easy. Rooms are fine and free shuttle was great.
C.
Small but perfect and cozy. The receptionist wasn’t great tho, she didn’t even tell me before I went up there that the keycard was needed for the lights. And didn’t care at all when I was stressed about none of the lights working. Also didn’t offer to help with my bags even when she saw me struggling and waddling around 8 months pregnant.
The rooms also need door stops for people travelling alone because it’s a nightmare trying to fiddle with the door constantly closing and the trolleys and the bags and key cards.
M.
Affordable restful space that always has fresh linen. Rooms have airconditioning too...aaahhh. Probably my 10th visit because its a)in Akld b)Great Price c)Clean. The Staff are helpful and reception is 24hrs. We arrived midnight from driving 🚗 but were able to book/checkin last minute which was cool 😎 .
L.
Clean comfortable and perfect for solo traveller heading to the airport. Rooms are small and not much room if you had more than one case. Good wifi. Room had kettle and fridge. The bathroom was very clean and they provided plenty of large towels. Also good to be able to use the coffee machine, microwave and toaster in reception for food prep. 2 min walk to plenty of takeaways and countdown for grocery’s. Also offer a free shuttle bus to the airport to save you dragging your bags the 10 min walk.
-.
Close proximity to the Auckland Airport, good option for a short/or long stay and not to worry about getting to Airport, free shuttle service available from/to airport.
Few minor things can be managed/ignored.
W.
New, clean, welcoming, but budget. Bedrooms very small like some European hotels. Community dining area to make own breakfast and free coffee machine. Restaurant right next door is very popular and good menu.ibis is a great place for a short stay close to airport with free shuttle bus.
T.
Great stay. Room was clean and suitable for our needs. 1 adult and two kids.
J.
Room was clean but extremely small. Nasty smell coming from bathroom drain. Air conditioning did not seem to work so the room was hot (no opening window). Other than that good for a short stay close to the Airport.
M.
ibis budget Auckland Airport is an economy option in the airport vicinity which boasts all the essentials for a short stopover. Clean and cosy very close to airport. Staff are friendly and attentive. Free car park and excellent value for the booking. Highly recommended.
A.
Location was big for me. Had a supermarket and a few food stores close by.
Room was really outdated, a lot of empty space. No charging points by the bed.
T.
Standard rooms are a bit small but did have an area on the ground floor to make breakfast, hang and chillout, microwace, free coffee, bowls, utensils, cups.
The restaurant and pub next door is great for watching rugby games while having a few drinks. Countdown is close by to grab what you nees. Free shuttle when you book with reception. Overall great stay
J.
Great location and an easy 5-10 minute walk from the domestic terminal. The room was small but the bed was a luxurious king size. Bathroom was compact but immaculate and clean. Close to a shopping complex and an assortment of food outlets. I would definitely stay there again.
C.
Great location - walking distance from Auckland domestic or international terminals. Functional rooms to rest and refresh. Close to a Countdown, shops and various ATM. Well worth a visit.
T.
Small family room, but clean and fairly comfortable. We spent a night there just to sleep. It has kitchen facilities on ground floor, free coffee maker, some kids activities too. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, even countdown.
C.
Very clean. The rooms were extremely small (we couldn't even fully open our suitcase), but they were quiet and clean. We were offered late checkout (which was apreciated), probably since we checked in past midnight. It was difficult to walk there due to roadworks.
P.
Staff really helpful and professional, the room was tiny and the bathroom very small. However it was for one night in my case, and it was very clean, so not a problem, the staff stored my luggage overnight and kindly assisted me to put it on the bus to the airport in the morning. I would stay again if l have a stopover in Auckland. Although check the price, because I booked online in Australia and paid a premium price for the room, l found it a lot cheaper when l checked prices through a booking company. $30 which would have been better in my pocket. But the staff were amazing, and l appreciated all their kindness.

I am very happy with this hotel. My husband had an accident with his arm and when they realized he could not use the arm reception offered help and upgraded our room without any hesitation. We were given a disabled room with a chair in the shower so he had no problem using it. We also got a large room for him to move better. It was a sparkling clean room with a very comfortable bed. So near to the airport. Would recommend this hotel and use it again in the future good value for money. Thinks for making our stay so good.
P.
Cheap and cheerful close to the airport- exactly what we needed for our family of 5. Take the free International Park and Ride bus to and from the airport. They had a triple room with 3 comfy beds, perfect for our teens, a free coffee machine in the lobby that makes a mean hot chocolate or mocha to take upstairs, and a nice gastro pub next door. Sorted.
s.
Tiny room but it is a budget hotel so didn't except a lot. It was clean that was my main concern when booking. Nice staff on arrival and a good bistro type restaurant next door.. Only there to put the head down for the night as had flown from invercargill and needed to collect campervan following morning near airport.
S.
Pretty average room for the cost, they didn't have our booking on arrival but quickly fixed it and got our room though which was good. You can hear everyone in the other rooms, feels more like a fancy backpackers than hotel, very clean simple rooms and lovely team working at the desk. Has some oversized games in reception which is a cool touch for the kids but wouldn't bring the kids again unless only staying 1 night and not planning on being in the room like we weren't for the most part, as the room was tiny.
V.
Comfortable room & pleasent stay.
Helpful staff.
Great food at the adjoining Restaurant and so handy having supermarket/shops just over the road.
W.
Small but clean rooms. Perfect if you just need a place to sleep between flights. Walking distance from terminals if your luggage is light.
K.
Allowed us to have a last minute check in at 10pm due to circumstances we had with last motel. Extremely polite and friendly. Very affordable and extremely clean. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely recommend to our family and friends and will stay there again.
A.
Stayed here overnight when flight was cancelled. Front desk staff very helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. And close to shops and supermarket.. Very handy... With great amenities.. Loved staying here. Better than sone of the hotels. In the city.
J.
I stay there when I am in Auckland because it is quiet clean comfortable and I have a lot of meetings in South Auckland.
The restaurant next door is great for dinner and breakfast too.
On my last visit in march 2020 I left something in my room but did n't notice until after I had driven back to Hamilton. I was coming back up to Auckland to the airport the following day, so I called to see if they had found my item. they had, and they kept it at reception for me to collect.
So friendly and considerate!
L.
Fantastic prices, so clean, quiet, and super friendly service! Shared Kitchen facility with bowls, plates, cutlery, microwave, toaster, free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and wooden games, books in the lobby...(but also jug, cups, wee fridge and hot drinks available in your room too) Family friendly environment. Supermarket and warehouse 1min walk away. Small rooms but perfect for what we needed. Unbelievably great prices for what you get! We stayed with 1 adult, 1 teen and 1 child, and would definitely stay here again without hesitation!
L.
I found this place to be great because I had an early flight ✈️ to catch & it worked out perfect.👍
S.
Stayed one night, greeted with a smile and staff always greeted you as you passed them. I also have a service dog and that wasn't a problem. Great quiet place to stay close to the airport.
G.
Not a bad place at all room is spacious enough got a bit of room entertainment in form of a tv. toilet and shower staying 4 nights here restaurant serving quality meals and all just a stones throw from the airports the staff are most helpful and very pleasant nothing seems like a problem would definitely stay here again
F.
Staff were good but the hotel name says it all. For the dollar conscious this would suit. Convenient to me airport by free shuttle
B.
Staff are friendly, and the bed was comfy, however being on wheels it rolled across the room whenever you moved the wrong way or sat up in bed and lent againt the wall. Room was a little small but clean well presented.
K.
Tiny, tiny room, and the sheets are very stiff and noisy! The rustling sound of rolling over is enough to wake everyone in the room. But great location next to the airport with free shuttle bus to and from the airport.
A.
Reception were great, room was small but satisfactory & clean. Good eating Place right next door . Would come here again.
M.
Close to airport with a free bus service. Rooms are small but service is good. Close to all amenities such as McDonald's, KFC, the warehouse, chemist warehouse, etc. All within easy walking distance.
H.
Pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. Bus from Domestic terminal was very efficient. Perfect for a one night lay over. Close to supermarket and fast food
D.
Nice and clean motel close to Auckland Airport, basic features but is expected with the ibis budget brand. Clean and tidy and perfect for a pre flight stop over
R.
Super clean and convenient, 1 minute walk to countdown and the warehouse and free bus to and from airport, perfect. Just remember to ask reception to let the bus driver know you want a pick up.
E.
I've stayed here before and it was good. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and warm. It's very cramped for space however, it's cheap accommodation for overnight stays.
L.
It's economical, clean and affordable to rest your head for a night before flying out or just needing a place to stay.
A great bar next door were you can get a drink and dinner.
S.
They were amazing, I missed my early flight and was very upset, I didn't want to wait four hours in the airport so my son rang them and they let me come back and relax in my room. I really appreciated the gesture
E.
Excellent and very helpful check in staff at the desk
Our room was clean and had sufficient space to move, beds were comfortable and had good heating
The meals area next door were right next to the Hotel and is an awsome place to have meals at
T.
I've traveled for a funeral and it was so nice to be greeted by a smiling face on check in. The room is simply but clean, warm and smells great! Bed is super comfy. Basic but adequate TV. I'll definitely stay again.
S.
Although it was a one night stay I enjoyed it. Staff were great well dressed and well spoken and happy to help your needs. The price $109 was very well recieved. Room was tidy and well pointed and had a great shower!! Will stay here again!!
A.
It is what it is the room was clean tidy and comfy however between flights you need a hood sleep but unfortunately here you can hear every room, door, foot step, toilet etc terrible sound proofing between rooms
J.
Fine for a quick stop over, one night is enough, small rooms and noisy at night.. fits the purpose, handy to airport, shuttle at door 24 hrs.
M.
Very nice clean and comfortable rooms, good price and close to many ammenities. Supermarket, chemist, food outlets and shops just across the road. Would definitely stay again!
P.
Wonderful staff who are efficient and friendly. Fantastic value for money and close to the airport ( domestic and international) Easy to book in, very easy to catch the Park & Drive bus to and from the international airport terminal. Clean and comfortable rooms, with tea and coffee. A fabulous restaurant called Szimpla next door with amazing food and coffee.
s.
I have stayed here a few times - close to airport and cheap, but not the most quiet rooms and only 2h WiFi, no flannels or hand towels available. Room size varies, my first room I had was spacious, but other rooms were quite cramped. It is OK for one night, but wouldn't be somewhere where you would stay if you were going to spend a lot of time in your room.
D.
Room was clean but small. I'm only average size and my feet hung over the end of the bed. There was absolutely no sound proofing between rooms so you could hear everything even on the floor above.
J.
This is a great little hotel very near the airport and easy to find. It’s right beside a few shops, including a great supermarket so we bought our breakfast there in the morning. We had a family room with a double bed and bunks. The room was a comfortable size as was the bathroom. The double bed was very comfortable but my children weren’t so comfortable on the bunk beds.
k.
Great stay, and perfect when arriving or leaving Auckland airport. Basic but clean and tidy with friendly staff.
Good bar restaurant attached next door
I.
Clean warm, good service. Walls are a bit thin but ideal for an overnight stay to catch an early flight.
K.
Sheets are noisy when you move in the bed. Single beds are hard and need a protecter or comfy under blanket. Nice and clean tho
L.
We arrived for check in at around midnight, midweek, along with several other families/couples. The lady behind the counter was really cheerful and helpful for us, not to mention patient with how tired everyone was. We were offered a late checkout before we even had to mention it. In the morning the next lady was really helpful with helping us navigate to the city, pointing out it's cheaper (by NZ$10!) to get a taxi through them than it was to use the sky bus from the airport! The room was spotless and perhaps the nicest room we've had in a budget ibis (and there's been a few) We'd definitely stay here again if we had to.
F.
TL;DR - Very tidy and affordable hotel, really satisfied with our stay. Just a 10 minute walk from the airport (domestic). Me and my friend got the most basic room with one bed and a bathroom, and we were impressed. Everything was really clean and had a modern look, the facilities were also fantastic. On check in they give you a card which will give you access to the elevators and room. This also makes the place pretty secure as the only thing accessible without a card is the reception. I cannot comment on the breakfast and roomservice as we did not use them.
T.
Small room with basic facilities but very close to the airport and convenient shuttle bus made it easy.
K.
Very minimal and just the basics. Had a flight cancelled and AirNZ put me up in here. I wouldn't want to do more than one night. Has most of what you need, very handy to airport and bus shuttle as well as restaurants.
M.
Good location. Plenty of food outlets within walking distance. It says walking distance to the airport terminals. We tried it this afternoon. Yes it is if you have a a good half hour. Ok yes 17 minutes with a fast walk and no luggage! So give yourself 30 minutes or pay just 5 dollars for the bus, which drops you right outside the domestic and international departure entrances.
N.
Our stay was good! The room is a bit on a small size, but again we just stayed 1 night since we came in with the late flight. The bed was comfy with a clean bathroom. Everything looks just like the photos advertised here! Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is actually close to the supermarket, cafe, GO car rentals, restaurant near by which is very convenient! You can either take a yellow bus from-and-to the airport from the hotel!
I.
The IBIS is an excellent budget hotel no more than 10 minutes walk from the Domestic Terminal at Auckland Airport. It's a budget space which is very basic but the rooms are clean and presentable and the staff are great on the desk. There is a shuttle which can take you to either the Domestic Terminal or the International Terminal at the airport and the Hotel is next to a shopping precinct which has a chemist and takeaway food outlets. Next door is an eatery and bar with a good menu and range of drinks. There is also a McDonald's just down the road. Book well ahead and make sure you check out the usual booking sites before booking ahead. I stay here before getting very long haul flights to the Middle East and the UK and can recommend it.
L.
6 stars for staff in the face of the virus and the distraught travelers trying to leave. They figured out some type of food for us as it looks like in regular times, you are surrounded by many food and drink options. Lower rating for size of room (holy it is tiny, you take turns moving) and the beds are on wheels. Think college dorm. Clean WiFi worked hot water. Price steep but you just walk to and from airport so there is that
D.
Best accommodation, best value, best staff and extended help from the management............No 1
J.
This place has everything a traveler needs - easy walk distance from airport, all-night check in, piping hot showers, sparkling clean rooms that are perfectly quiet. Would recommend as a great, cheap option if all you want is a comfy bed and a safe place to catch some zzz's. Would stay again!
A.
Convenient to the airport. Staff very helpful with excess/oversize baggage storage. Recommend storing all possible baggage with the desk staff as rooms are compact. Very useful and inexpensive (NZ$5 each way) transport available from terminals to hotel (or vice versa) on Kiwi Goa - a "Tuktuk" with trailer. Rooms compact however facilities adequate for stop-over purposes. Easy walk to supermarket (open late).
M.
I've stayed here twice before and it's cheap close to the airport 4min drive and there's a count down nearby aswell as eateries within walking distance it's very basic but comfortable 👍👍
M.
Very basic hotel but brilliant for price and proximity to the airport. The beds are super comfortable with lovely pillows and the shower had fantastic water pressure. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Having the shuttle bus running every 25 min 24/7 is fantastic and only $5 BUT, if you have the opportunity to get the little blue thing you should do it cos it's so much fun! And costs the same amount! Will definitely stay at the ibis again the next time I need to be at the airport at stupid o'clock...
K.
It is simple and tidy hotel. It is good for short term stay. The hotel staff is very kinds and there are plenty of car parking place. So anywhere is for you. But the room size is very small and cleaning condition is very dirty. Even I can see the blood spot on my pillow cover. And no body shampoo and no room water as well. It is budget hotel so do not expect too much. But I can not understand still about room cleaning condition. Very disappointed about cleaning condition.
K.
Location was amazing. The 15min walk from the airport was perfect or you could pay for a shuttle but it is a nice flat quick walk. There is a countdown across the road for supplies and it is also a 10min walking distance to a few rental car places. I was on the 5th floor and didn't hear any planes. Nice, quiet, clean and had everything we needed. The room was spacious and modern.
T.
Good bed. Dark room due to the clever design of the blinds. Quiet too. Even though I had a room near the lifts, the only sound I noticed was the air con, which I could set to whatever I wanted, worked well, and was just white noise so probably was useful in drowning out any noise of people in the hallway.
I chose this place mainly because I could walk to and from the airport, which was a great way to reduce stress of getting shuttles etc, plus it was right beside the airport shopping area so it had a supermarket and food options.
They also give you two hours of complimentary WiFi per night, allowing up to 500MB of usage, which I thought was pretty decent.
Friendly staff at the reception desk, which is staffed 24 hrs.
Continental breakfast options were available, although I didn't have any so can't comment on quality.
You wouldn't choose it for a holiday destination, but it ticks all my boxes for an airport hotel!
J.
Its clean and tidy, great for a place to sleep before flying out. Handy to so many things. And the staff are so so helpful
G.
Typically a standard budget Ibis that did the job clean good obliging staff rooms a little small bur ok for an overnight when at airport
B.
Traveling via Auckland Airport, then you can't go wrong with staying here. 10-15 minute walk to the airport.
The room isn't huge but it has what you need in it. I stayed in a room with twin single beds. Mini fridge, TV & shower. Plenty of power points to recharge everything and central heating.
K.
Friendly staff, although some were abit arrogant. It's a great place to stay when you need to get to the airport. I left my vehicles there, it is unsecured parking but most can be seen from the foyer of the hotel. There is fast foods all around and supermarkets and other shopping also, and a bus that comes by every 20 minutes. Over all I would definitely stay here again.
J.
Had a perfect stay here, the rooms are clean and quiet. The hotel is ideally situated: it's a short walk to the airport (15 min), there is a supermarket nearby and there are dining options. You could also use the little kitchenette in the hotel (water cooker and microwave) to prepare your own food. If you're staying 2 nights, you can even walk to the mini golf nearby if you want to.
T.
Budget hotel for a 4 Star price.
Tiny rooms ,minimal facilities in rooms.
Beds on castors ,slide everywhere. No headboard.
No hotel airport bus sevice ,have to use airport bus cost $5.00.leaves outside hotel.
However friendly staff and room was very tidy and clean.
Shopping centre just across road.
A.
Clean, tidy rooms, good location. Nothing flash, and the rooms are small, but you get what you pay for. Supermarket only a minutes walk (if that). Very convenient, uber to the international terminal was only ~$8/$9 or so. The restaurant/bar downstairs was nice.
E.
Rooms were small (as expected) but clean and comfortable. Was located quite conveniently to the airport and has a trolley stand for the luggage trolleys. Only annoyance was that the bed was on wheels that didn't lock so it slid all over the place while trying to sit down, move around it, etc.
E.
This hotel serves it's purpose as somewhere to sleep if you are flying out early. Very basic, but clean, nice reception staff and a great restaurant next door. Didn't bother with breakfast as it was very basic and we could get better at the airport. Good shuttle bus service.
m.
Tiny hotel room but tidy. Because of the COVID level 3 no breakfast provided. There is a yellow bus to commute from airport to IBIS Budget hotel ( go and back). It was accessible for everyone, easy to go.
D.
I found the reception staff very helpful on arrival which was at 12am as I had only flown in from overseas. Was happy to find the reception desk opened 24hrs.
The room seemed pleasant enough but I guess you get what you paid for, although there was no phone, the iron I needed was situated on the bottom floor in the laundry room?? I would have thought there would be one in the room, the water drained very slowly in the bathroom basin, it seemed to be blocked at first but it took a while.
I must admit the location was very good as it was only across the street from where I needed to be for an appointment in the next morning.
I needed to extend my time there so my check out time was at 10am the next morning, I enquired and was advised by reception from 10am to 11am was free at no charge and there after it was $10 an hour, the latest time to check out completely was at 2pm, so this was a great service to have. I may plan on returning to stay in the future.
J.
Easy access to airport. About a 15-20 minute walk. There is also a shuttle, but we opted to walk.
Service was great, front desk receptionist was quick and courteous. Rooms are small but that's the point of a budget hotel. There is breakfast in the morning but I did not partake.
H.
V convenient for overnight stay for flight transfers, early morning flights & returning rental cars to nearby drop off spots. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. This is a no-frills accommodation with emphasis on ensuring a good night's sleep: quiet rooms, blackout curtains, v comfortable beds and pillows, air conditioning. Bathroom disability-friendly. $15 onsite breakfast optional or fabulous food at next door cafe Kawau Kitchen. $5/person transfer to airport or 10-15 minute walk.
N.
Great location. Bed clean and comfortable. Tiny room but absolutely fine for stopover or even a couple of nights. Water pipes very noisey at night if you're a light sleeper. Staff lovely and accommodating. Restaurant/bar and shops very close.
J.
Everything okay, we feel always fine there and stay there when flying from or into Auckland. Very friendly staff and clean. Easy to walk from the Airport. The only thing I would change is to offer filtered water for drinking. The water in Auckland contents a lot of chlorine.
a.
Good place for a quick refresh and overnight stay
S.
Basic room but neat and tidy. Very friendly welcome. Very handy to airport and has shopping and eating places within walk8ng distance.
C.
This is an okay hotel. The rooms are pretty small with a very little window. It's close to the airport, which is why we stayed there.
Of note: even as a guest, you only get two hours of WiFi, then you have to pay for it. There is not a free shuttle to the airport (it's $6), but there is free parking on site.
L.
Great place for the price. The cheapest rooms are under $100 and the service is very nice and the building is clean and modern. Simple rooms, as you'd expect, but they do the job well.
L.
The windows don’t open, I guess to keep the sound of planes down but it doesn’t matter as there is very good air conditioning. Also blackout blinds which really live up to the name. Room was clean with ultra basic tea making facilities but very cramped. King bed occupied most of the space. Bathroom was good, clean and contemporary with good shower. An extra 15 dollars gets you a good quality buffet continental breakfast. Coffee was great. Swipe cards for room and lift entry.
J.
Very convenient to airport and places to eat. Loved the downstairs common area to eat and games to keep the kids amused. Nice tidy clean rooms. Perfect for one night stays. Friendly helpful staff.
We stayed during December when they had a Santa Mail Box at the front desk for kids to write to Santa and tell him what they wished for. Today I was amazed to have a courier come and deliver a package from Ibis addressed to my kids and I knew it was from the Santa Mail Box. Then when they got home from school/daycare and opened their presents I realized Ibis had gone one further and personalized my kids presents and also included hand written personalized cards as well. Amazing! Big ups to management for going the extra mile but even more to the person/s who went shopping for these personalized presents and then wrote all the cards to go with these. It's the little things that count! Will definitely be back! Thanks again Ibis Budget Auckland Airport.
M.
The hotel is very nice but a little too expensive for its standard. You can reach this hotel by a 10-15min walk from the terminal or take the yellow bus (5 NZD). The rooms and bathrooms a very clean but a maybe too small if you're travelling with a partner or more people. Breakfast ist available (15 NZD) as well as free coffee and tea in the rooms. All in all a good Ibis Budget.
R.
It's about 1 kilometers from the airport, not a terrible walk. The last 200 meters or so are a bit uphill, but manageable. An Uber from the airport is about 6 NZD. The hotel itself is great for a budget overnight stay. Small rooms, very clean, with a good bathroom. Water pressure in the shower is great.
A.
I'm sorry but just having 2hours free WiFi per day for the kind of hotel and the price you pay per night, it reduces the quality of your staying. It isn't located in a place with difficult internet access, so they should be so strict. On the other side, the staff is very kind and the rooms are clean and comfortable. You have to buy a $5 ticket if you need transfer to the airport.
M.
This is the perfect overnight stay of you have an early flight to catch. Rooms are small but sparkly clean and bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water. There's a cheap shuttle that picks you up 24/7 (5$ from the hotel to the airport or 6$ coming in). Concierge also manned 24 hrs and receptionIsts are lovely, even at 4am.
A.
We arrived in Auckland Airport at midnight and had booked the Ibis beforehand as it was close to the airport. The price is cheap compared to surrounding hotels. The service was great but we only really had 2 interactions with the staff. The room itself has adequate for the price. You get what you paid for so it was a budget room but had all the essentials for an overnight stay. They offered free internet for 2 hours or 500MB (whichever came first). This helped as I was yet to pick up a SIM. There is a Countdown supermarket in the block next to them so was convenient to pick up items in the morning. There are also things like a bakery and some fast food outlets in the same block as the supermarket.
C.
Very clean, tidy and modern for a basic hotel. Certainly value for money. Free parking and easy access to airport, shuttle bus, taxi or if you aren't carrying too much luggage it's a nice walk. Impressed. I enjoyed my stay here.
D.
This hotel was not the best first impression of New Zealand as a whole, but was decent. It was definitely a budget hotel, but considering we were only there from 11 pm to 5 am, it worked for a cheap, decent nights sleep after flying for nearly 18 hours and having 16 hours of layovers.
J.
The room is clean and presentable. It is also quite cosy and comfortable for a budget hotel near the airport. Also, due to it's good location, I am also able to get to Countdown and the Warehouse and some fast food chains to get my meals and gifts before coming back to Singapore. Overall, for an 1 night, its a great hotel.
c.
No hair dryer or iron in room. Very small rooms, couldn’t open window for fresh air, shower did not drain, so had to have quick one. However bed was comfortable, no airport or traffic noise and staff were mostly helpful.
Y.
The good: bed is comfortable enough and the sheets and towels were super clean and new looking. There is a supermarket across the street and a fast food restaurants nearby. The not-so-good: there is no free shuttle to the hotel. It costs 5NZD per person per trip to get to and from the airport. You can try getting an Uber X to save some moeny. If you walked, it's a 20 minute walk along the main airport access road. You can push the airport trolley all the way to the hotel, but the sidewalk isn't super smooth and there are many curbs to get on and off. There are not many signs so if you arrive late at night and it's your first time you may have a really hard time finding the way.
L.
Good clean tidy hotels..
J.
What you pay is what you get. Location is good, walking distance to airport. Rooms are small and you get no extras like shampoos or other toiletries. Don't expect facilities like a tea maker or a fridge. But hey, that's why you book a budget hotel. Thing I don't like is that you have to pay for wifi. Come on, wifi should be unlimited, fast and free! Years ago it was acceptable to ask money for wifi, but not anymore.
M.
Very small rooms WiFi is only available for a few hours unless you complained
Air conditioning keeps switching back to preset temp
Little too warm on hot days
Very well located about 900 meters to the airport
B.
The entire Sri Lankan Lawyers Cricket team that visited this hotel choose to luggage their bags in this place. Some stayed in the hotel for few days and they were happy about their stay. Free coffee served for all the guest. The air port terminal bues comes to the front of this hotel every half n hour. Very close and within walking distance to the air port.
D.
Nice hotel close to the airport. Rooms are a little small but OK for an overnight stay. Be aware that the airport bus does not always run as scheduled so allow lots of time.
G.
Excellent value for money. The term "budget" doesn't give credit to the niceness of the place and it's a wonderful hotel in a great handy-to-everything location
J.
Small rooms, but exceptionally clean! In our room there was a small fridge, but no cups, plates or utensils. Those are at the ground floor next to reception where eating is in communal environment. Lovely Scandinavian decor around. 15 minute walk to and from the International airport. Lots of good shops and cafés within walking distance of the motel.
I.
Close to Airport clean and comfortable good beds helpful staff. One note of caution if you need a taxi contact the staff they have a deal with local company with fixed charge otherwise you may get ripped off. Yellow bus to airport good value.
A.
Cheap and just possibly cheerful. Staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean.
If you get stuck at Auckland airport then this is an adequate place to spend eight hours dribbling on to your pillow, snoring, breaking wind and dreaming of being somewhere more exciting.
A.
Budget hotel. Very clean and has everything you need, comfy bed. Highly recommended
D.
Adequate for a one night stay. Very compact, clean and tidy. Would have liked hand towels and face cloths in the bathroom.
C.
From the moment you enter the doors you get a great NZ welcome from the reception staff. Clean comfortable rooms and lovely restaurant/bar next door and more in surrounding area to suit all tastes and pockets. Easy walk to the airport too. We stayed here the night before leaving New Zealand and it was super. Great job
B.
Clean and tidy. Perfectly fine for a budget hotel. Good for staying overnight near airport. Shuttle bus only costs $6 and takes ten minutes.
S.
The room was decently sized for the price. Just enough walkway between the beds and the wall to fit one luggage, unopened.
We requested for a double bed, but was given 3 x single beds instead. We were too tired to change to another room, so did not bother pointing it out. The third bed was a bunk bed which did not have its sheets laid, i guess because we were only 2 persons. We did not use the bunk bed though.
The location was within a 20min walk from the domestic terminal. Not really far, but it was significant when you lug around 3 x full sized luggage. Taxis are available at $10 per trip, bookings can be made at reception. It was near a bunch of stores and fast food restaurant, which was convenient for last minute grocery shopping and late night suppers.
Overall, clean, cheap and serves its purpose as a transit hotel.
B.
Perfect if all you need is a bed at the airport. Comfortable quiet bed, small bathroom that has everything you need. Shared basic kitchen. Breakfast. Bus to terminal at the front door. Will definitely use again. Excellent value.
M.
Small room but very clean and fresh. Good shower. Very good for short stay and close to airport.
S.
Yes, budget hotel, but sparkling clean and fresh. Decorated like an IKEA. Within walking distance of a grocery store and shops including an excellent coffee shop around the corner. TV worked. Bath and shower worked. Very tight space but, again, not expensive. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Would definitely stay overnight again.
d.
This hotel is inexpensive and convenient for early morning flights but doesn't have much to write home about. Despite being an airport hotel it isn't able to provide early check in for early morning arrivals. The rooms are extremely small and basic, so don't expect to stay here for the comforts. There is a paid breakfast option available but is within walking distance of McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts as other options.
D.
It is what it is... a good overnight stay close to the airport with a shuttle that goes most of the time for $6. The shuttle only takes credit cards at a kiosk where you get the bus. As with all Ibis it is a small overpriced room but that been said it's the cheapest around. It's clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Takeaway food shops and large supermarket and The Warehouse ... a huge variety store are all within a short walking distance.
M.
Functional, quiet and comfortable rooms. Front of the house staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel is easy to get to and from the airport and offers a good place to get some rest between flights. Bunch of shops and very nice little pub near by as well.
M.
Very handy to airport with airport shuttle coming directly to front door to delivers to airport. Rooms very small but served is purpose, inexpensive, clean and staff very helpful. A meal and beer can be had next door to motel at tavern which had good prices & atmosphere
M.
Small but comfortable rooms. Staff are helpful and friendly. Great location, within walking distance of airport, supermarket and eateries. The $15 breakfast is pretty good.
R.
Well placed near the airport restaurants and bars with simple courteous service at a great price. Thank You
M.
It was smelly there and we couldn't open the window. It was clean but very small for 3 people. We had no space. We not recommend it. Stay on a other hotel because it looks better from the outside.
G.
Get what you pay for. Smallish rooms but clean enough. Only complaint it's that there is nowhere to put bags - a major oversight given that most of the people passing through are either arriving from or leaving via Auckland international airport.
Check in and out was extremely easy. Vending machines had a good variety of snacks. Car park was large and easy to find a spare space. Coffee shops within a minutes walk for the morning pick me up
L.
Location is great for a stay before an early flight. Good restaurant outside and Countdown grocery store. Small rooms and no extra pillows makes it feel surely "budget", but works well for final stop-off before a flight.
W.
Room all clean and serviced well. Staff helpful and courteous. Only complaint is rude and loud guests shouting and slamming doors all night. No consideration for others and just because it is Budget shouldn't mean the guests are budgetminded.
D.
Comfortable beds ,good breakfast ,smaller rooms but that's expected .
A.
Perfect for exactly what they say they are. A Budget Hotel, cheap and cheerful, great service, warm and comfortable etc with all required facilities I needed for a quick overnight stay by the airport between flights! Would gladly stay again. 1 comment I would make is the beds rolled around abit to freely on the wheels haha wich was just abit funny and possibly and easy fix but not a problem either :)
T.
Very handy if you need to catch a flight early in the morning. The hotel has a deal with Discount Taxis company and a trip to the city costs $35 cash or $40 card. Otherwise, by uber, costs around $45-$55
A.
This was the best airport hotel I have stayed at. Wonderful staff and facilities and excellent price. We were pleasantly surprised in all areas. Thank you for our great stay, we'll be back
H.
The hotel is located next to the Auckland Airport. It is the best choice to stay a night after a long international flight. There is Countdown next to get some suppliers. Hotel lobby placed a plate/ microwave and other applicants to make yourself a meal. Even though there is a restaurant next door. Bed is a bit too soft though. The shower is so power to make my tiredness go away! Shuttle bus to the airport is in regular basis. I will highly recommend this place!
s.
The rooms are really small but that's obvious with the fact that they are a budget hotel.
The location is super. Just catch a yellow bus from the airport and it takes you to the hotel for $5.
The rooms & bathrooms are clean & neat.
Unlimited coffee in the food area.
Good staff.
M.
IBIS Budget standards, very close to the airport with a carpark at disposal. There's a shuttle for 5$/6$ or you can walk about 10/15min to the airport. Their staff were really friendly and helpful which is always a plus! All in all it's a convenient hotel if you're traveling on a budget ;)
R.
Was really impressed with this hotel, by far the cheapest rate I have paid for a nights accommodation and wasn't too sure what to expect. The staff are pleasant, rooms are small but was absolutely fine for what we needed. Room & hotel was clean and the convenience of the shopping complex beside it and the airport so close was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone else wanting to stay near the airport.
B.
It was what we expected. A budget hotel near the airport. Price was good, wifi portal was buggy, had to beg the front desk for a voucher because the free 30 minutes glitched out. Beds were kind of hard, but it was only 125 NZD for the night. Walking distance to a 24 hours MacDonald's. It gets the job done at a good price
N.
The hotel is less than 15 minutes walk to the terminals and an ideal place to stay if you are flying into Auckland and need an affordable and convenient place to stay when you have an onward flight out the next day. Some of the rooms are tiny, without enough floor space to open a suitcase. The best rooms are the ones with the overhead bunk, even if you are traveling solo as the room is a little bigger.
K.
Stayed here a few times during a layover for my flight. You can catch the yellow bus to the Airport for $5pp. It comes around every 15mins.
Hotel is close to the shopping area of AKL airport.
I have only stayed in a room with 2 people max. It was tiny but comfortable..
Staff here are always nice and friendly.
S.
Good price for a place to sleep only . Small clean
R.
Perfect place to stay for any busy traveler - as it is just 2 mins from the Auckland Airport. Good parking, friendly staff, comfortable and fresh rooms.
Awesome restaurant next door for lunch and dinner and great coffee shops in close proximity for meet-ups.
Highly recommended.
P.
Price has escalated since Ibis branded from Novotel.... Great location close to airport which is no doubt why..but let's hope Jucy Snooze build a pod hostel close by and soon... that will keep these Hotels honest on cost.....
S.
Clean and comfortable room at a good price. Friendly and helpful staff. There's a restaurant at ground floor. Countdown supermarket and some fast-food restaurants are a short walk away. Within walking distance from the airport. You can take the cheap shuttle service if there's heavy luggage, or if it's raining.
N.
Perfect for the overnight sleep before the red eye flight. Recently refurbished rooms are compact, efficient and well designed. Small bedside tables are perfect size for the phone and car keys. USB charging points in the room to.
L.
Well starred as 3. Very convenient 10-15 minutes walk to terminals. Fine beds good windows but corridor noise enters the room. Friendly efficient staff. Small rooms.
S.
budget always works for me for 1 night at the airport. Always clean, tidy and fresh with nice staff.
O.
There is no hairdryer in the room. Guests have to go down to the Reception and borrow one on a first come first served basis. I made all the trouble to go down to the Reception in late evening but was told that all hairdryers were borrowed and may try again tomorrow. Hairdryer is not an expensive item, I dun quite understand why the hotel cannot keep one in each room. Simply not acceptable.
ศ.
The room is clean, location near by Auckland Airport and Shopping Center.
The room is too small, Airport shuttle is charge for $5.00 per person. Breakfast is $10 per person but not really value. Hotel amenities is fewer than expect. In room provide towel and one soap bar.
Overnight stay for connecting flight is okay but not recommended for long term stay.
v.
Very nice rooms for a budget hotel. Had such a good night sleep before my flight. Would definitely recommend also, only a short walk from both domestic and international terminals.
M.
Handy to Auckland Airport. Clean and comfortable and QUIET with a great aircon system. Not l luxurious, but perfect for a one night stay prior to an early flight.
F.
Great location. So near the airport that you won't worry about early morning flights.
You may choose the Yellow Bus to the airport. Alternative transport means may be even cheaper since the airport is just a few turns away.
The room is basic, but adequate.
No fridge is a downside, especially when you can buy food from the Countdown store just next to it.
p.
The room is small but very clean. Staff is nice and helpful. Supermarket and fast food in the area. 15 min walk to domestic terminal. Or you can use kiwi ride to airport .
D.
We've stayed at ibis budget before and been quite happy when paying $60 - 100. This time we could only get a room @ $159 - way over the odds for the smallest ibis room I've ever stayed in. Amenities were all fine but next time we're quoted more than $100 we'll be looking elsewhere. A bunk over the bed and no space for suitcases is not worth this amount .
K.
Check-in process is super quick. The room is neat and peaceful. Noise reduction is superb. The bed is huge! Space is the best thing they have here. Internet is free for the first two hours. Located 5 minutes away from Auckland Airport. Countdown supermarket is located nearby with a very few steps to walk to and it closes at midnight. So, sleeping at this iBis hotel before departing Auckland and buying some stuff from the supermarket nearby are the perfect match!
P.
It serves it purpose. A budget accomodation close to airport. They helped me with every need I had. Also the place has laundry 24h, with is good for who is on the moving
K.
Our family of 4 stayed while waiting to fly out to Vanuatu. Room was very, very small but we expected that. We got what we paid for. It was clean and close to takeaway food. We will be stay there again on way home.
D.
Good service went out of there way to help us with our trailer clean and tidy value for money
N.
A clean and well presented room. Friendly staff and conveniently close to the airport. Ibis hotel made sure our final leg of our journey was a stress free and comfortable experience.
B.
Great place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Has to be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel or anywhere. Clean rooms and a great price. Sure people have moaned about the size but for what you pay its great. Going to be staying here again
G.
Nz$113 for family of 4. Great price can not beat. Quick check in at 1am. Excellent over night stay. 2hrs free wifi. New ish decor. $10 basic breakfast. Bed comfortable. Suggest uber with family as cheaper ($8.50) then taking airport bus as bus $6 each. Bus runs every 30mins. You can walk to hotel from airport
D.
Nice clean basic hotel that serves it's purpose perfectly. Good value for money and walking distance from the international airport. Ideal for late night landings. I continue to use this hotel and would recommend it to others.
A.
Great place to stay for a over night stop over. Clean room comphy bed and very friendly staff. They have a kiwi Goa to travel from airport and return $5.00 each way and it has a wee cart for your luggage
N.
Perfect in-out hotel for couple or solo traveller.
Rooms are small. Cleanliness ok. Perfect transit hotel to refresh and recharge. Airport is just a 5 min ride away with Yellow bus at a fare of 6nzd. Stayed for 15h during transit through Auckland. Location is convenient. Supermarket open 7/7 from 6 to midnight just next door. Coffee shops and restaurants in the same block have good food 🥘
T.
not very close to the airport. if you want to walk there, will take you 15min. facilities are poor. room is not comfort. old design. service is good. the lady is kind in the morning lobby area. will not book this hotel again.
P.
Always the lowest price of accommodation within a short walk to both domestic and international terminals. Room very small and tight.... but clean and acceptable.... NOT worth $125 plus a night..... I hope Jucy Snooze hurry up and build out by airport
C.
Excellent well appointed and super clean budget hotel. I liked having a night clock, places to put things, great ventilation and super clean well appointed bathroom. Not to mention friendly staff! We will return.
L.
Can't fault cleanliness. Not a long stay place as rooms so small that you feel claustrophobic.
n.
5 stars for a budget hotel, very compact in size but has everything you need for a sleepover before flying out. The bed was super comfortable
y.
15 mins walk from the airport terminal. Quick check in. Room is not fancy but does the job for a quick overnight stay while transiting via Auckland airport. If you are a tall person, you might find the beds a bid short...
I.
Called up Veronica at the IBIS Auckland Airport - as I’d had some issues with an app booking ...
Veronica promptly helped resolve my issues in a professional, warm & friendly manner.
She gave me complete reassurance that my issue had been taken care of - what a great Customer Experience.
Keep doin’ what your doin’ Veronica!!!
J.
The hotel room was simple but adequate to our requirements. The showers were small but hygenic. The bed's eete actually quite large. I barely fathomed my partner across their expanse
C.
Front desk service like a 5 star, the bed room just as expected of a budget hotel. However it the constant pipe noises through the night that brings it down to hostel level. Couldn't sleep at all between continual corridor noises and the pipes
A.
Good location with superb access via 24/7 airport shuttle - Yellow Bus (6 NZD) or the Kiwigoa vehicle , probably the coolest shuttler ever.
Free fresh milk, hot coffee and hot chocolate plus with some basic kitchen amenities - toast maker and microwave.
Walking distance to The Warehouse, Countdown Supermarket, KFC and BurgerKing!
B.
Nice for staying 1 or 2 nights stopover for your flight. Clean, nice next door restaurant.
R.
Stayed over in Aucks to fly out early avo. Even thought a "Budget" hotel they could have decent mattresses on the beds and the TV I had to look through the ladder of the bunks to see it! The best thing it has going for it is the bar, cafe, dumplings and supermarket, burgers all within 100 metres and is on the Yellow Bus route or take the funny little tuktuk!
D.
Hotel is convenient and next to a supermarket which is helpful. Facilities are ok, and staff are friendly. But the WiFi was a problem and my room didn't have a remote for the TV. Decent for the price.
S.
Good. Clean. Comfortable and close to the airport. Better than the ripoff rates at the Novotel. Amenities on-site or just over the road. Great $5 Tuk tuk ride back. No waiting !
M.
Good, clean hotel, rooms a bit too small to feel comfortable with a lot of luggage, but very nice staff and good located close to the airport (walking distance). Offering tea and coffee for free which is great!
L.
Extremely small rooms, however handy to airport and slightly cheaper than the airport for parking. Beware that breakfast is not included in the price, clever minimalistic signage about that.
T.
Got the yellow shuttle there for six bucks. Friendly welcome. Excellent bar in the same building. It is what it says, a budget hotel but it ticks all the boxes.
S.
Small but clean rooms suitable for one night stay-over. Several eateries nearby. Easy walk to airport or take regular bus service or private shuttle.
C.
Good distance from airport, clean room and nice staff. Rooms rather small but fine for overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again.
B.
Good room for the price and location. Great if you have an early morning flight to catch. Close to places to eat and shop. Can be difficult to find parking when as they share the car park with the bar below.
R.
Bare bones room. The bed practically fills all the floors pace. Bathroom is small. They do have an airport shuttle, but you have to buy a ticket in advance NZD8.00. It is right next to the airport, but Novotel is at the airport. You just walk across the taxi pickup drive to enter the terminal.
L.
Clean and hospitable. As 1 person in standard room it was fine but no room for suitcases. I had to use a bed to put it on. Not suitable for 3 to share with luggage.
M.
Convenient hotel to the Auckland Airport. Comfortable beds and courteous staff.
Little noisy with traffic and walls a bit thin but good amenities and ease of access for a flight is what your after here
M.
It is simply a place to sleep. Price was high but that comes with the convenience of being right by the airport. Rooms are small but when your just needing to sleep and have a shower etc they are adequate.
A.
Fast check in and out. Great for a power nap between flights
I.
Very helpful and friendly service with clean, tidy rooms. Very handy bar and restaurant closely located. The transport service to and from the airport is also very useful and affordable.
M.
As an Accor property it is clean and of a high standard. Very small room. Great staff. Near airport so good for overnight.
R.
Friendly staff, value for money. Good location and near to shopping mall. Highly recommend for travelers who have to overnight in Auckland. Clean room and staff make your stay really, really comfortable
M.
Fine for the price point. But be warned-check the alarm clock has not been set in your room. Mine woke me at the worst hour and it's that bone rattling beeping that's makes you want to scratch your ears off with a fork
d.
Smallest room ever stayed in NZ, considered its distance to the airport so booked a night for twin beds. Walked about 15mins from the airport & good surroundings with shops & restaurants, plus a nice Outdoor Gallery & Footy Field to walk around.
K.
Closest hotel (reasonable price) to the airport, but requires some level of fitness if you are planning to walk there.
Rooms are clean, just like a proper hotel that you would expect from, despite it’s a “budget” hotel.
P.
Landed late, check in was still available at 12:30 am. Rooms basic, but comfy. Be aware, no drinks (tea or coffee) in the room.
Breakfast is $10 nzd pp, toast and Cereal. There is a McDonald's at the end of the road though if you want something more substantial.
W.
Don't come here expecting luxury or big spacious rooms. It's a transit hotel and it does that job really well. Staff were great and transfer bus to the terminal stopped right at the door.
T.
Clean compact accommodation close to the airport.
Enjoyed the $15 breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and smoothies. A good variety of bread and cereal.
C.
Do I give it 5 stars because it is what it is or do I give it 1 star because it's just a room with a bed? 5 stars for being clean, close to the airport, and close to Countdown. -1 star for non-friendly midnight staff, and -1 star for almost not having a place to walk on. You almost had to go over the beds to get to where you want to go.
S.
Lovely clean rooms! Helpful staff! I walked here from the domestic terminal no worries! Supermarket and restaurants (including fast food) all 1 minute walk away! So convenient!
B.
Great place for a quick stay! Clean, modern, professional staff and close to Auckland International Airport. This is a budget hotel so the room we stayed in was very small but everything was modern/up to date, I would definitely stay here again
S.
Very clean and comfortable room at a great price. Perfect for travellers arriving late or leaving early. The family room was just big enough for our family of four.
J.
Very comfortable beds quite noisy back ground noises air con etc shower drain cover not secured. But breakfast very tasty and lots of options
S.
Only good for overnight stay! 15-20 mins walk from the airport, if you have a lot of luggage won't recommend walking, shuttle service for available at certain times!!! Free breakfast is bad so don't reply on it!!!
P.
Had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are very small and the elevators can only go to the floor you are on .Very comfortable rooms though and great location close to banks coffe shops supper markets.
F.
didn’t stay here, but they let us wait in the (very nice) lobby for as long as we needed while we waited for one of us to pick up our rental car from nearby, letting us help ourselves to the free tea and coffee :) very nice staff!!
M.
Very handy to both terminals breakfast is basic. Restaurant next door. Good place to stop before continuing travel. It is what you expect from Ibis
V.
I don’t think it’s worth the price. Rooms are really small and beds/sheets are not comfortable, lacks basic amenities like hairdryer, still have to pay for $5 for airport shuttle.
I.
No frill airport hotel, used the yellow bus $6 per person one way to hotel from airport terminal. Clean room, friendly helpful staff. Plenty of eateries near by.
S.
The room was a little small but really comfortable, clean and close to the airport. It's convenient to get to, only a bus ride away which costs $6 from the airport and $5 back.
X.
Good place to stay, even for few hours, between two flights . 10 minutes by walk from the airport.
You can also take the yellow bus for 5 NZ $.
You have just behind the hotel, a supermarket.
r.
Totally enjoyed my stay here...very clean accommodation...comfortable beds...excellent showers...i will be back to this hotel...this was my 2nd stay here and so close to airport and car rental or shuttles to other places...excellent hotel to stay at and i will be back again...thank you ...☺
J.
Great stop if using either airport. Handy close location and also close to the shops, including supermarket. The inhouse restaurant is great, good menu for carnivores and herbivores alike.
C.
Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast next door so so.
Staff efficient
A.
Abousoulty enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the staff where lovely and everything is within walking distance. Very much worth staying at. Will return again. Angelica
P.
We had a room for 3. Works out for 1 night but its small. We had 3 big bags in total and it was hard getting around with the bags as there is no space to put it. So ww had to work one after the other with getting the clothe and getting ready.
R.
Great handy place just a little bit stinky maybe the carpet. I don't know but the smell wasn't pleasant.
N.
Suited our needs to be close to Airport for early morning flight. Clean, quiet even though in busy precinct...sound proof rooms. A great restaurant next door.
b.
Despite of no baggage/luggage weigher and (shared) compact room, the hotel is very good in terms of distance to AKL airport n bus service to the airport also very close to food and convenient stores
L.
Clean but a bit too small rooms. Breakfast quite ok. Close to a bigger shopping mall with more eating options outside. Airport is reachable on foot
M.
Lovely hotel, very small compact rooms. Perfect place if you just need a bed to sleep in.
T.
Had a 3 bed ,was a king bed with a single top bunk above very small room no where 4 suitcases no toiletries in room ok for just overnight stay to airport, nice restaurant next door
V.
Hotel is always good value but found this time our room was too small. Had trouble getting the suitcases in the room and there was no flannels. The service was good and the room was clean.
R.
Exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. Very happy and I'll be back again
T.
Perfect for us location great 👍 bus service to the airport Rooms clean and tidy and tea/coffee facility available and reasonable service Lovely staff member greeted us and was clear when explaining the morning bus timetable Thankyou for the good service
T.
Perfect location for a one night stay near the airport. Very handy to have cafes, shops and supermarket just across the road. Room was very clean and functional.
s.
Imagine if someone took a prison and repurposed the cells as a budget hotel. You don't need to worry about dropping the soap in the shower as they supply it as a liquid body wash in a dispenser.
R.
Good basic hotel - lack of free WiFi (only 2 hours) is disappointing especially as we were staying for 2 nights. Good airport location though.
S.
Pretty nice room for a budget motel, great reception staff, close to everything. Only problem was that it was hot the night we stayed and despite having the air conditioning on full all night the room was still hot and had no window to vent
A.
Reasonable accommodation accessible to airport. The room was very small but clean. We ate at the restaurant next door and that was very nice.
H.
It's ok to stay just for few hrs when u have a flight the next day but for a long stay with kids I won't recommend.
M.
Disappointed, nice and clean excellent front staff. But certainly not value for money. Booked for 3 only 2 beds made up bedding just folded on bed, uncomfortable. $250.00
c.
Great little location close to the airport and close to plenty of shops incase anything last minute is required. Tiny room but you get exactly what you need!
L.
Rooms are small, the acustic isn't good and the breakfast is too simple for the price but the hotel is very close to the airport and well localized (near to a good variety markets, restaurants, shoppings)
M.
Stayed here for one night after a long flight in from Phuket – Stone throw away from the airport. Close to KFC and a supermarket for a quick meal. Room was basic, small, tv, tiny bathroom but very modern.
R.
Small but functional rooms. Walking distance to the terminals (15 minutes, with suitcases). They offer a transfer bus also if your luggage is unwieldy. Free tea and coffee in room and downstairs, breakfast is available for a fee.
D.
Good value for money for a room with a bed and bathroom.
Very clean and close to the airport. Good shops across the road.
All you need for a night prior to flying out.
F.
A nice, modern place to stay in, especially if you have just come into the airport and need somewhere to stay. It's cheap, and in a very good location. I wouldn't recommend it for long stays.
K.
Rooms are small and tidy. It has everything you need for a nights stay. location within walking distance of the airport is good. Pretty basic...
C.
Good one night stay at airport, good beds
T.
Perfect for an early morning flight. Close proximity to plenty of food outlets and shops. Pleasant staff on reception. Comfortable room with good facilities.
C.
Friendly staff. Quiet spot. Excellent and easy parking. Stones throw to the shops. Clean rooms and kids love the bunk beds. Feels really safe and cosy.
S.
Wifi was limited to 2 hours, no free transport from the hotel so had to walk 20 min. Clean room with good shower. Value.
T.
Clean Rooms, helpful and friendly customer service. Budget but Bougie, Simple but Stylish. Close to KFC.
K.
Really nice and friendly staff,at front desk, and also the housestaff.we walked from the airport.a small queen room, clean, aircon, comfy bed, nothing wrong with the ammenities either.Shopping centre, next door.Real comfy
I.
No phones in rooms, no free wifi, too tricky to get to other floors if your colleagues are on other floor. Others are way cheaper than ibis around airport with free shuttles too
D.
While basic it had everything you needed. After 18hrs flying the 20min walk was a good way to get the feeling back, but the yellow bus service is handy coming every
20 mins
E.
Good cheap accommodation if you round the airport.
S.
Friendly service. The rooms are small and basic but for an overnight stay for a flight the next day, it is perfect
G.
Reasonable price and ideal for a nights stay before an early flight. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful.
M.
Good hotel to stay if you have early morning flight next day. Expect no more than bed and shower in the room. Service at front desk friendly
A.
Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking, clean and tidy rooms with great beds. The only down side is th price is kinda high for what you get and the parking is sometimes full, so make sure to get in early.
B.
Perfect place to lay your head if you just need a place to lay your head on a trip and and need to be close to the airport. Options for transport to terminals at ver reasonable rates make for a stress free layover.
P.
Enjoyed a great stay last night, i was surprised at what a fabulous little airport hotel this is whilst between flights. P.
N.
Small but adequate rooms handy to the airport. Breakfast & coffee complimentary. OK value.
J.
Tiny rooms as expected, and very clean. But OMG the noisiest sheets in the world.

A nice experience for a one night stay if travelling from the airport the next morning. Easy and accessible location within walking distance of domestic and international terminals.
D.
Average budget hotel. Within walking distance of terminal with a trolley park, so no need for a taxi or carrying heavy luggage.
k.
Convient. Clean. Efficient staff. Small rooms, but comfy bed. Best airport hotel for travellers not on an expense account.
C.
Good for a overnight stay. Had a few days of free WiFi, had a tv also. Bed was a little hard. Really close to airport which is always a bonus
P.
Nice friendly staff. Close to airport and shopping centre. Free bus to from airports. Comfy bed & pillows
A.
Decent stay at a cozy hotel in the walking distance from International airport....Its almost 20 min walk. So if you are travelling with heavy luggage...avoid walking....Neat and clean hotel with very co-operative front desk
T.
Good value for money. Clean small rooms. Downside: only 2 hours of free wifi during stay.
L.
Kind staff and good location to spend time before departure
-airport transfer every 20 mins just from outside the entrance
-café/restaurants around the corner …
S.
Very impressed with staff and facilities, especially given the price. Room was very clean as well. Would definitely recommend for budget stay.
P.
Perfect to stay before an early morning flight. Restaurant nearby which was busy and serving great food. Rooms are small but manageable
J.
A quick stopover. Small rooms but very close to the airport. Their website is confusing as it gives a bus service from airport to hotel but there is none. We had to walk as we did not know the local bus stopped at the hotel.
M.
Booked hotel room one day wrong, but no problem to change
We have stayed there many times always clean easy and great service
Thanks
L.
Helpful staff. Very clean and tidy . Close to shops and food places. But V E R Y small rooms..had to sleep with luggage onthe end of the bed!
Y.
Its convenient if you have a stop over or a cancelled flight. Is very close to takeaway stores the warehouse (like target), countdown and more importantly extremely close to the airport.
H.
Decent place. Staff is helpful. Though the surroundings are decent but you won’t have much options in terms of food. Highlight is that it is very close to the Airport.
T.
Small cosy rooms. Good for one night budget stay. Very close to airport. Yellow Bus shuttle service from airport makes it very convenient.
m.
Tiny budget rooms as name suggests. Clean rooms with towels available. Friendly reception staff. Close by sushi place and supermarket 2 min away (opened 6am to midnight) if you need some late night snacks. There is a 'yellow bus' - which transfers from the hotel to the airport for 5$ - not sure if takes you from the airport tho.
M.
Good basic place to stay if you have arrived at the airport and need a nights rest. Not to stay for long.
J.
very chic and simple hotel, small but clean, cost $5 pp shuttle to airport in just 5 mins, countdown just nearby till midnight
C.
rooms are small but clean, cheap accommodation. close to airport, good to stay overnight if yr going elsewhere afterwards.
P.
Very clean. Easy check in and out. Lots of eateries close by
10 min walk to the airport.
T.
Very nice clean and functional room. The bed needed stoppers to prevent moving which were available on request
D.
Friendly people comfy bed good bathroom and shower ideal for airport stay. Only one t bag!!could at least of had have had more
S.
Great service from the staff as well as clean, comfortable and value for money. Will definitely be back.
B.
It's a basic room right near the airport. It is what it is. Perfect for an overnight stay if travelling early the next day. Plenty of shops just over the road from hotel.
D.
Its ok, comfy bed, cheep and chearfull
M.
The room was extremely small comma with a bunk bed and a queen sized bed, with minimal space in the room. Only a couple of big outlets, with minimal to medium amenities in the room.
P.
Very handy to Airport to avoid traffic on your day of travel if you have an early departure. McDonalds and Carl's Junior close by as well as other restaurants.
I.
Super clean and super small but extremely close to airport. Staff very friendly.
I.
This is more of a hostel than a budget hotel, bunk beds, expensive vending machines below, and a breakfast that is not worth $10.
I suggest you go to any of the fast food paces around to have breakfast rather than have at the hotel.
P.
If you pack lightly, you can walk there from the airport. If you've walked that far, you can also walk to the grocery store nearby. A bit pricey for a budget hotel, but it was clean and good for one night.
N.
A budget hotel good for brief enforced overnight stays due to flight scheduling. Clean & efficient.
M.
Friendly staff and very helpful. Clean and very close to shops and cafes. Small rooms but perfect for the jetlagged traveller.
K.
Within walking distance to the airport. We spent a night - close to local cafes/shops, decent value for low prices. Will definitely stay again.
K.
Basic accommodation but suited our needs lovely staff and very clean
M.
Small room. Comfortable and clean. Quite far to walk from airport if you have large baggage.
J.
Comfortable but no hot water for shower
A.
Facilities are that of a 2 star Hotel but service from the staff was 5 star.
Friendly, polite and extremely accommodating
T.
The room is too small for that price. There is a big supermarket at walking distance. Anyway, it is very convenient for a short stay to catch the next flight.
M.
Stay here often usually very happy with rooms and distance to airport, only had one bad experience but that was the people in the room next door being loud all night.
J.
Good hotel, was as expected for price good service. Hotel-airport shuttle was handy, good walking distance to airports and butterfly Creek.
G.
Great place to stay for a budget hotel. Room was fine, plenty of nearby food options and handy for airport.
F.
Close to airport, but not close enough to walk with luggage so extra $6pp each way for transit bus. Room was ok however toilet smell all night.
s.
Okay room. Not the most comfortable bed. No parking places available. Had to park at countdown and walk in rain. Very close to the airport which is a benefit.
R.
Comfortable beds, clean and close to food outlets to get a late night meal. All you need for a nights stop over
L.
We arrived at 2am to find our booking was incorrect, the amazing night staff found us a room to sleep in. Thanks so much. Great people 💖
3.
Room is a little bit tight but still comfortable. Bathroom is also feel bit tight. Overall room is clean and tidy.
R.
An excellent hotel while waiting for your flight. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
辉.
compared with the lodge and hostel in the south island, this hotel is quite clean and cosy. an ideal place for one night stay near the airport.
K.
Very nice and very clean. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend to others . Thank you Ibis....regards Kerry and Jeanette Curtin
K.
Great for quick stopover when needing to fly domestic or international. Great staff, basic accommodation and breakfast dining in our take out available
R.
Good budget hotel, located very near the Auckland airport. The rooms are pretty small though. The staff was very friendly.
B.
Good place to while away a few hours. The only negative was it was very cold inside.....
Y.
It's a budget hotel for arriving n departing international n domestic travellers. All necessary facilities in the room ,key shopping nearby !Their reception team is excellent !
T.
Very nice budget accomodation to stay in if u flying out next day 5 min drive to auckland international airport no traffic at all
F.
Stayed there only for one night so I can't really judge... Was clean. Pretty much what you expect from a airport hotel.
B.
Clean tidy room. Sheets coming out of bed as weren't tucked in properly but fixed in seconds. Great breakfast. Can't really fault.
s.
Rooms are small but tidy and quiet ideal for either on arrival at Auckland Airport or early departure
A.
Simple but effective with good service. You can walk to the airport or there is a bus for $5 every 20min
T.
Clean and tidy and very comfortable beds. Great location easy walking distance to the airport.
J.
Stayed for one night after coming in on a plane, was pleasant enough but the room key card didn't work at first and the breakfast was overpriced for what it was.
J.
Very clean. Everything you need in a hotel and walking distance to several amenities. Rooms very small.
G.
Used their facilities between flights and found it close to the airport (just a short walk) clean facilities and everything you would need at a reasonable price.
