For a single person staying in the CBD for 2 nights, it’s okay. The price could be a bit cheaper though considering it’s flaws. The room is much smaller in person, water pressure barely exists, very noisey at night and some of the power outlets were faulty. However, the staff were exceptionally nice, the bed although small was very comfy, the room was always survived and cleaned well and the air conditioning was superb. Would probably stay again if back for a couple nights

Stayed here for many nights, and very happy with everything. The staff were amazing. The rooms are great. Compact, but with everything needed, especially the ones with the kitchen. This hotel would be especially good for solo travellers, couples, and people on business trips. The location is extremely central...supermarkets, transport centre, everything is on the doorstep of this hotel.
Great value for money!
A.
As far as budget goes , the Ibis suited us for location and the add on's like carpark and breakfasts . The breakfasts were great at a cafe just up the road and carpark across the road.
S.
Very friendly staff and tidy rooms at a great price. I was looking for simply a bed to sleep in at a low cost in the CBD. I found that the Ibis budget was exactly what I was looking for. Fantastic rates and perfect location to suit my needs.
R.
Basic no frills room
You get a bed
The rooms are cramped and small but for the price its ok
C.
All workers are friendly and managers are very helpful.
good price and good facility. very convenient location!
No car park but you can park your car at Hobson st after 6 pm. which is very close to the hotel.
I had a good time staying in there and have no complaints.

Loved the place! Visited as a solo traveller so tiny room felt cosy and the perfect size - loved the addition of the balcony and the great views of the sky tower and harbour Bridge. Appreciated the air conditioner in the peak of Summer. Great location. Friendly reception staff. Would stay again.
S.
They have lollies and a hand written card saying welcome back. I guess I have stayed there before....could not remember. I will stay there every time I can in future. I left a folder in the shuttle. The guy at the counter said don't worry I will sort. A couple of hours later he retrieved it for me. The room is comfortable. Has a bar and restaurant. Close to the city. Budget price but high quality.
R.
Great place to stay for location, friendly staff. And so cheap when have good deals 👌Comfy bed. Good shower. Nice towels. Small but good for 1 person. Thanks for a pleasurable stay. 2nd time stayed here 😀

Stayed here with family for two nights in one of the studios on the upper floors. The room was very small with a smaller bathroom but had a balcony with a good view. What was lacking in the room size, was compensated by the friendly and helpful staff. The staff who worked during the weekend, whose names I think were Gagan and Sumit, were very responsive and helped store extra baggage at the front desk and provided extra mattress, on request. As there was some club near this hotel, found it difficult to sleep at night, during the weekend. Would recommend this property for anyone looking to crash for a night or two, during the week.
D.
Nice hotel located in the CBD. Rooms are small but functional. My room had a small fridge, microwave and a stove top. There can be a lot of street noise at the weekends
J.
Came with my tourism class and i enjoyed every minute of it. The staff were able to help us whenever we needed and though the rooms were small we enjoyed every minute of it. i was grateful and cozy throughout my stay. Loved the location and was grateful to be close to the city.
K.
Stayed for 3 nights over New Years. Price and location were great. Room was clean, staff was awesome. So why 4stars and not 5? Two reasons (1). The bed was a double (not a queen, so it’s a bit small for a couple). (2) the bathroom was about 5x5 with everything in that space.... so after you use the shower the floor in front of the sink and toilet is wet! There was also a 9-10 inch step up to the ship like bathroom. Aside from those two items, it was fine.
S.
This is exactly as advertised-a budget hotel. However it was perfectly adequate for the one night I was in town. Great location, good staff and comfortable bed. Rooms are small but I didn't expect anything different. Breakfast price is steep but there's a fabulous bakery just up the road with good food so went there instead.
v.
Loved my stay at Ibis. Neat and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staffs. As it’s located in the heart of the city, easy and convenient to roam around without the hassle of parking. Made my trip easy and relaxed.
Thank you 😊
D.
Friendly and helpful staff, rooms clean and serviced daily (bit small but was fine for us) Worth paying more for high floor with aircon. Location great - close to everything
P.
It’s all relative, but based on the extremely reasonable room rates, I thought the Ibis was a really good option. The rooms are very basic and very small. But they’re clean and have almost everything I need (an iron would be nice). The location is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. And the $5 toast and coffee breakfast is all I need. I’d do it again.
m.
Spotlessly clean, very very good value, right in the heart of the city, my room came with a balcony with views of Auckland harbor bridge and the sea. Check-in quick and smooth and the staff friendly professional and courteous.
M.
Mattrass in Room 218 has collapsed, so didn't get much sleep. Suggested to staff that this be replaced. Otherwise, clean, functional , if small rooms.
K.
Close to all amenities. Thanks for your dinner suggestions.
M.
The vibes. No hand soap tho- madi and jana
R.
Ibis was a very hotel. Very helpful staffs. The two indian guys sorry 🙏 guys i forgot your names. It was in june 2018 were superbly helpful. Small place with a kitchenette wow so helpful. You can cook all wat you like. Well situated and clean. It would have been very nice that all ibos around the world provide such facilities. So that when we travel we can easily opt for this hotel.
K.
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very pleasant. The bathroom and room were clean with everything provided. I think the hotel has taken on board all of the reviews and made many changes. About the construction noise, it's not the hotel's fault but they provided earplugs anyway.
H.
I paid $99, had everything I needed for a 1 night stay! Clean, comfortable, great location, tv above the bed. my 2nd stay here, will stay again. But Would be great if there was a plate and some cutlery in the room for when you bring takeaways for dinner ;)
L.
We booked a top floor room with a kitchenette and was pleasantly surprised. The additional mini kitchen didn't compromise the space we had the only downside to it was having to call for reception to come and turn the gas on/off before and after each use - although I do understand why this is. The cleaners were very lovely and only changed our towels/bedding when we requested, which is great for the environment. The other niggle we had was the the left side elevator didn't work with the key card - no matter how often they reset it for us, this meant either walking up 18 flights of stairs or waiting indefinitely until the right side one came down. This Ibis is in a great location for the city and we highly recommend it.
If you're heading to the airport from here and don't have much luggage it's cheaper to get public transport (under $5) than a taxi with their discounted rate ($50).
L.
Rooms are very small (as advertised) but stingy on basic amenities - had to request toilet paper - there wasn't and in the bathroom on arrival! The tv in the room was broken as was the heater. No bedside tables, though the room looks laid out as though there was meant to be some, and they are shown in the pictures, which makes me think our room's bedside tables just got old or damaged at some point and were taken out and never replaced.
Comfy bed and friendly staff, but with the room so cramped and no closet space or anywhere at all to put a suitcase or backpack, was constantly tripping over things and could barely get around the room. I'm a thin person, anyone even slightly overweight would never have been able to walk around the bed.
On the plus side, good for the price and fantastic location.
D.
For a budget hotel, you pretty much get what you pay for.
The staff are cool, and the room itself is cozy, albeit a bit small.
If you are looking for a nice cheap place to stay that has a well centered premise, then definitely check this place out.
V.
Tiny hotel rooms with anything you might need. Very clean and the staff was amazing, very helpful. Location is amazing!
D.
A good, budget hotel for those just needing somewhere to sleep. Tiny room. No desk. TV with limited channels. Tiny kitchenette (coffee/tea sachets & cups/spoons, water glasses; no plates, bowls, or cutlery in our room -- may be in others). Jug. Iron. Temperature & pressure good in shower. Clean & tidy. Noisy nightlife nearby (to be expected in the city). Generally pleasant.
P.
It's a budget hotel so can't expect five-star. It is nice and clean, no bedside table, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy as well as a squeaky door. the front desk was very pleasant. Unfortunately there were road works outside which was a bit noisy but no reflection on ibis. All together, it was value for money
A.
Staff are fabulous amazing in fact, nothing is too much trouble.
Rooms are small but bed is comfortable with crisp white cotton sheets.
Shower is good there was a space in the bathroom to store suitcases which was great.
Very noisy roadworks outside but closing Windows shut out noise.
Hotel is 50 metres from Queen Street so no vehicle was needed as bus service is good.
Good value for money but next time I wouldn't order breakfast as that was the onlydowner, it was a waste of money.
As I said previously the staff aregreat.
S.
Room itself was ok, but it smells like a hospital in here. The TV is mounted at an angle from which you really can't see the screen properly. Understand this is a budget room but the overall vibe made me want to get out of there as soon as possible.
It's fine if you just need a place to crash for the night at a decent price.
Smell is the big thing here that the photos won't tell you, the bathroom reminded me of an aircraft toilet, has the same feel and smell.
D.
This place would be fantastic if they put a bit of effort in. There was a lack of understanding about what makes a functioning hotel - TV issues, shower pressure bad and weird toilet smell. Staff were unsure and this made the whole experience uncomfortable. Discounted parking involved a miscommunication to the tune of $70 per day. On the plus side the room and shared areas looked relatively clean and I believe they addressed a late night noise issue after a serious request. Oh and the fridge froze all my stuff 😥
T.
Excellent stay here for a couple of days. Room was clean with a good shower and very comfy bed. We was on the 13th floor and had good city views from our balcony. The staff were friendly and looked after our luggage before the room was ready and on the day of our flight as well. All free of charge unlike the ibis in central Melbourne. Excellent position in the town center as well. Thank you.
J.
The lower floors are definitely noisy at night. They provided some earplugs and I definitely needed them. My room with a double bed was quite small but clean enough. Also had fridge and stove though I didn't use them. It was 10nzd to do a load of laundry, there are only 3 pairs of machines on the ground floor so I imagine it could be hard to find an available one at times. The best part about this hotel is the location. It's close to the nice restaurants on federal St, the sky tower and bus stops.
D.
Great cheap accommodation in the cbd. Small basic rooms with comfy clean beds, tea and coffee. No hairdryer. Suitable for those times you just need a bed. Tiny balcony which is nice for fresh air. If you can't cope with street noise there are ear buds in the room.
K.
Good value for money. Great location - just off Queen St and 2 blocks from ferry wharf. Airport Sky bus drops you off around corner at Stop 10. Free wifi. Small room but has everything you need including kettle, tea and coffee. Friendly staff. You can leave your bag after checkout.
C.
Definitely a budget hotel. Clean enough and at the very least it was a bed for the night. No knives, forks, or plates in the room unless requested, the first room I had didn't have a TV remote and the TV had the subtitles stuck on. A lot of noise outside the windows, too. BUT - the room was tidy and clean, the staff were friendly and it was extremely close to everything you need. If you just need a room for the night I'd recommend it.
r.
Stayed here twice and both times it's suited me as a single traveler perfectly.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, right in the centre of the city, and importantly - cheap. I don't think you'll find anything better in the city centre for the same price.
The bathroom is small; you can almost use the toilet and take a shower at the same time (not normally a selling point) and I'd suggest removing the toilet roll if you're taking a shower as the shower curtain barely contains the spray.
Other than that, the rooms have an iron and ironing board, and they offer luggage storage for free at the front desk - really handy if you're checkich/out doesn't align with your flights.
4 stars because of the bathroom only.
K.
My bed was comfortable, I had no problems with noise (being on the 15th floor helps) service from reception was very professional and I can say that I enjoyed my 2week stay. 1 thing to mention parking is expensive if you ask front counter they can help. $20 Wilson Parking across the road, overnight if you leave b4 6am.
J.
Rooms are cheap and affordable for a CBD hotel. Rooms are small and minimal. Just your basics shower and toilet. Small but out dated kitchenette with microwave.
Bed was super comfortable but they never changed towels had the same ones all 3 days I was there.
C.
Friendly staff. Clean linens. Great view of the tower from our room. Located right in the city central. The room was a bit small and in the picture when we booked, there was a mini kitchen so we were expecting a stove, however the room we received did not have one. They gave us ear plugs in case it was too loud, however it was not loud in the evening. Parking at the location is pricey and limited (costs $50 a night, if they have space).
D.
Room was very small, dingy- bathroom was like. A cupboard with a shower and toilet with 1ft of each other no wardrobe but it’s cheap
N.
The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The neighborhood gets really loud on the weekends and stays that way until late at night. The rooms stay cool if you open the window and balcony door, but can this allow bugs in. It’s a good budget hotel for the price in a very convenient location in the city. There’s bars, convenience store, grocery, laundry, Burger King all less than 5 minute walk.
M.
Clean room, fast friendly service with efficient check in process. The rooms are small, but for a hundy bucks right in the centre of Auckland I think they are great value. Perfect for a night or two when you don't want to be spending time hanging out in the hotel anyway
m.
The rooms are extremely small but clean. It was very hot and the aircon wasn't able to be used so we left the door and window open . Big mistake, we got no sleep thanks to a bar a few doors away where the play thrash metal until 3am or later. It was just so loud it felt like we were at a concert. It was ridiculous. We found the staff terrific, happy to help in every way.
S.
Location is excellent (minutes from Queen Street and Vulcan Lane); staff is efficient and friendly. Beds were small twins but very comfortable and clean. Room is very, very small and loud ( a lot of noise from street until Early AM) and only 1 set of ear plugs are provided. Rate was fantastic but prefer a larger bed and room.
G.
Keeping in mind this is a budget hotel. Nothing fancy. Clean (but not emasculate like some reviews say). Staff was effective, but not warm, just got the job done. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are small.
C.
Great location!! The room was small but had everything we needed for our overnight stay
A.
This is a very clean and nice hotel rather basic but is priced accordingly. With the bargain price around $80 they don't provide breakfast but the room and facilities are just fine. The bed was comfortable with clean bedding, the bathroom was clean, shower ok and included toiletries, there was TV and free WiFi. The only issue is the loud noise from the bar/pub next door which goes on until around 11 pm but then it's quiet for a nice night sleep. The location is great very close to all to see in CBD. We stayed here for two nights in rather low season winter, the room had an electric heater which is adequate. We would stay here again.
P.
Located in the central city area, making it very convenient to move around Auckland with ease as taxis and buses are readily accessible on the Queens Street. There are also many restaurants, shops and supermarkets available. Staff were really nice and friendly as well.
The room was okay for our needs. The room is very small and the bathroom is slightly bigger than the size of a closet. Our room had a mini kitchen, although you couldn't actually use the stove because there's no cooking utensils or cutlery (although I think you have to request this to staff if your want it) . Lastly, sensitive sleepers might want to avoid this place as there can be a lot of noise (from the fridge making noise, outdoor noise, neighbouring room noise). Despite this the room was clean and functional for our needs.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Auckland for a 1-2 days maximum, say for a concert. Where you just need a place to sleep and nothing more. I feel like some reviewers are expecting too much for a cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.
J.
I have stayed in Ibis hotels in London, Brisbane and other cities and they have been excellent sadly, Auckland Ibis is not.
The room was small but acceptable clean linen etc. however there was an unpleasant smell that emanated from the shower toilet I found it neccessary to leave the light and extractor on permanantly to alleviate this.
The TV was an older model that needed to be viewed from almost directly in front it was mounted in such a way that you could only watch comfortably from the bed unfortunately it was mounted high on the wall so the viewing angle meant you couldnt actualy see the picture clearly.
The breakfast was not good value unlike all the other Ibis hotels I have frequented.
The noise from the street below was constant, though I was on the 18th floor.
The good points are its location right in the centre of the city.
Tthe staff who were pleasant and always ready to assist where needed and the room service.
I gave three stars because the staff were so helpful and obliging.
I would think twice before staying here again.
K.
Perfectly fine. Central location near Queen Street, the CBD and the waterfront. Rooms clean and functional, if a little small and basic. 24 hour reception and free WiFi. Can be noisy outside the hotel so you may need to sleep with earplugs if you want to sleep late. Would recommend
M.
I recently stayed at this motel in a studio room and cannot say enough about how helpful all the staff were. For a person staying on their own, particularly a lady travelling alone you feel very secure, room is small but has all you need, position is great. I would always stay there when visiting NZ.
D.
Centrally located hotel. Limited street parking. Gets noisy at night on weekends. BTW, they also had ear plugs in my room. close to plenty of vegetarian restaurants especially south indian restaurant close by and if you love to run on Water front theres via duct area and tamaki drive.
M.
I stayed here for four nights back in January. For the price I payed for this accommodation I was expecting something a bit bigger. The room was absolutely tiny, with hardly any room to move. It's in a pretty good location though, easy to get to most places and close to plenty of shops.
K.
Great friendly staff , so helpful, clean and tidy rooms and communal space! An efficient and economical space. Would highly recommend.
S.
In a word, fantastic. Great staff, great location, nice rooms, and the best value in the cbd.
Be aware that it WILL be noisy on weekend nights... It's right in the middle of the city after all. And the rooms are tiny, but laid out so that you don't notice except for the lack of surface space.
If you want peace and amenities, go elsewhere. If you want the cheapest place that's actually comfortable in the cbd, this is your place.
O.
Thank you Ibis Auckland, certainly not budget, I' very impressed and grateful for my room central to were I needed to go to, the room was excellent and the front line staff were most accommodating, great for an overnight stay, I will definitely booking again, I got the room for $48 on your special, please offer the special again
D.
Located downtown. Rooms are small but functional, all I wanted. Would stay there again
D.
Good checkin late at night, quiet and comfortable room with great views across city and harbour. Breakfast light-weight style but adequate. Request for late check out was accommodated. Enjoyed my stay and would come again.
J.
The room was clean and ideal for what I required.
All I was after was the bed and shower as I was out the rest of the time. Stayed here during the week and got a quiet nights rest.
Free wifi codes from reception for 6gb that would've lasted 72 hours, however I was only there one night.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was very good with only a 2 minute walk to Victoria or Queen street.
No plates, cutlery or toaster. It does have a fridge, hotplate, TV and microwave.
Be aware that the rooms are small, but perfect if just need a place to sleep.
I would definitely stay here again.
L.
If all you need is somewhere safe and clean to sleep then this is an ideal city option, everything else is in walking distance and the rooms while simple are very pleasant. Great rates and some lovely staff.
K.
Truly a hotel suitable for travelers on a 'budget'. Rooms are rather small though have the basic conveniences. Bathroom is ultra small. Located perfectly in Auckland city, close to everything. 7min on foot from ferry piers. There is a bus stop (Sky bus) bringing you very close to the hotel from the airport.
M.
Budget hotel in the heart of Auckland, just off Queen's Street. The reception staff were really nice and helpful. The room is small and the bathroom even more so but they are clean. Room might be a bit noisy on lower levels. Overall experience ok. Good for people who wants to explore the heart of Auckland city, those who are on a budget or those who wants a few hours rest.
D.
Auckland is expensive city and the impact can be seen in the size of the hotel room. Room is of acceptable size except lack of enough space for luggage and cupboard. Toilet/bath-room is small too and little bit constraining. Same is true for the kitchenette.
However, hotel is very neat, clean and modern which compensates what it lacks. Location is good too. It is in the center of Central Business District. Airport SkyBus stop is very close-by.
M.
Reception was quite helpful, stored our luggage before check in time without any hassles. Rooms are a bit too small, but the bed was nice to rest before a long journey.
L.
Good size room and ok bed. Like the cooking space and the small window just above it. Stingy with the bathroom. The toileteries include only shampoo and soap. Generous with towels, tea, milk and sugar. Was really hot inside the room
N.
Staff is polite reasonable and flexible. Unfortunately the rooms we occupied had some smell in the toilets. However the staff understood and gave us replacement rooms, which was much better. Cheers Cheers!
T.
Friendly staff. Quite a noisy area if you open your windows to sleep at night.
Clean hotel and within walking distance of many of Auckland's finest restaurants .
Situated on a hill but no views to enjoy as you are surrounded by other tall buildings.....then again your only there to sleep not camp in. Enjoy the best address in the middle of Auckland.
Parking is quite expensive so don't go into shock when you drive your own vehicle and park in a park house. Street parking is lucky if you find a space basis.
S.
Can I give this place 2.5 stars?
Reading the reviews I can say some of it is true
I didn't see them throw our bags on the counter,in fact they put it down very gently but I do worry about security that anyone can say our bags are theirs
First room was nice with a balcony but the bathroom/shower did not drain. I had a feeling they knew this and they did let us change rooms
Second room was better but this time Minot drainage issues, the water got behind the toilet and stayed there
It is a small room yes but not tiny like in Asian where you can't even put your bags anywhere
Staff were friendly and helpful
For me I would return but only to stay one night
Also noise wise it's pretty quiet despite the pubs and clubs , you can hear something but not enough to keep u awake
D.
Within walking distance of cbd, beds were comfy, had an ironing board and iron, handy mini kitchen, good security because you had to use your room key to use the elevator. Nosy outside all night.
W.
Really nice room , was clean and tidy well layer out and modern . Will be back for sure
T.
You get what you pay for. Great central location. Very noisy due to local bars and a bit smelly. Okay for one night if you need a cheap place in the centre. We stayed for three, which is quite a challenge. Will not be returning.
B.
It's good for the price and the location but I found the rooms were a tad smaller for 2 people.
T.
Having stayed at ***y IBIS hotels, this hotel, however plain, met my needs. The location was convenient and secure. The front desk staff were helpful and courteous. Although, there are more luxurious hotels available in the vicinity; for the value, I would stay here again.
J.
It's a good place if your a backpacker the staff is awesome the rooms are small the bed is comfortable the pillow are fluffy I recommend this place for backpackers
C.
Good service but very small basic room.
Price to stay was reasonable.
P.
Really great value, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the room is clean and cozy, the only problem is the noise outside at night but that's easily fixable with some noise cancelling headphones or a pillow over one's head.
W.
Clean very small room. Fine for a one night stopover in the city. Not a vacation hotel.
I.
Rooms are small but good value for money and close proximity to everything
P.
The room was fine. Location was great. Staff weren't the most helpful or outgoing. There were two elevators and during my three day stay the were both out of commission at the same time twice!
J.
Great location for a hotel and and at a reasonable price. Rooms were small but clean. Traveling is tough sometimes but ibis made my stay in Auckland a great experience.
C.
Love the Ibis. Cheap and cheerful. Ticks all the boxes in terms of a private place to crash.
R.
Have stayed here before, probably in the same room, tiny rooms but functional. Even has a Juliet balcony with city views, if you crane youth neck you can even see the harbour and bridge. Very reasonably priced considering your in the middle of the city.
O.
I'm a fan of Accor hotels! I chose this one because my other accomodation in Auckland was closed (reception) when I arrived. Although not budget indeed, it was very nice and cozy and didn't regret it. It has a different concept than the Ibis Budget chain I'm used to. The room had even a small kitchen(!). The style is different, all metallic, I liked it! Centrally located.
b.
In City, and perfect if you are traveling alone, for work and you need a place to sleep. Basic but as name suggest, budget. Having said that, very good for a budget hotel. The only thing that bothered me was the noise from the streets while trying to get some sleep.
G.
Noisy! Would've liked facecloths and a hairdryer- quite basic things for any hotel room.
K.
Budget accommodation ,
OK for a short stay ! 2 days maybe
Some of the staff have limited
English language! Place is clean
I stand just off 2mtrs tall
Beds are like marshmallows
Way to soft !
A semi firm mattress would be a great thing !
D.
Very poor quality not very clean but very small bathroom is like a cupboard
Floor dirty just not clean
Not very customer friendly
T.
Great location. Close to Spark Arena, buses, Britomart and the trains. Parking available through the front desk for a price, but no car required.
Rooms are basic, but have bathroom, sink, hob, fridge, tv and comfy bed
T.
We had everything we needed. Kitchenette has two hot plates, a microwave a fridge and a kettle. Staff are friendly and efficient.
A.
For a budget one night stay at a good price was perfect for us in the middle of the city close walking distance to everything we needed
It’s was clean tidy and friendly staff
Y.
The location was OK, a very CBD, room was tiny but good enough and clean, the only bad about location was a building construction/ rubbish removal started at 3 AM. The room service was Ok and the reception peoples friendly.
W.
Great value for money, fab location and is everything you need when your busy exploring the city. Clean rooms and comfy bed. 👍
M.
My room was completely fine. Basic, but as to be expected from a budget hotel. However friends rooms leaked and needed to be changed.
E.
Last time came 18 mths ago. Enjoyed. Stay yesterday Friday tiny room. Harbour bridge in distance
R.
Very basic accomodation and room space was quite confined. Service at Reception was good however, small things such as no conditioner for toiletries was quite dissapointing but overall it was ok.
M.
The hotel is located right in downtown Auckland. The skytower as well as the harbour are only a 5min walk away. The Skybus Stop number 10 is also very close (2min walk). But the small rooms itself aren't in the best condition, especially the bathrooms. No air conditioning is provided, too ans no real breakfast is available but there are many coffee shops and restaurants all around the hotel. All in all this hotel is good for a short stay if you have a limited budget and don't want to stay in a hostel.
D.
Good budget accommodation. Nice and warm with a comfy bed and everything you need. Good customer service. A little noisy but that's just city centre life.
B.
Small room great price everthing was fine. The big pain was they restrict wifi for 2 gig a day? That was a major inconvenience. Good central location.
S.
Not a 5 star hotel by any means, but for $65 this is a palace. The staff is very kind and helpful, and it's in a great location. If you can get past the small rooms, it's a brilliant hotel for travellers.
N.
Convenient location, clean rooms basic amneties good place to stay. A bit too loud downstairs because of the bar next door, won't recommend to those needing to sleep early.
M.
Price OK. Rooms are very small. Noisy at front due to construction work over the road. Don't do breakfast not worth 15 dollars. Better going next door to cafe.
K.
It room is quite small but for the price and location it isn't bad at all. Wifi constantly keep disconnecting but the staff are super friendly. Its perfect for backpacker.
R.
What can I say. It is a budget hotel. Clean and tidy and friendly staff. Don't stay on the lower floors as there are night clubs next door.
G.
Excellent location, functional rooms with basic cooking equipment. A nice small balcony and comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly.
K.
Staff was so lovely, room was tiny and basic toilet didn't flush sometimes, but if you are just sleeping and showering it's ok
S.
Perfect for price. Minimalist amenities, right in cbd. Clean. No hassles. Great for a place to crash the night while doing things like concerts or shows in the city. We will stay again.
V.
Very centrally located in Auckland. All the shops, cafes and restaurants are very close. Though the room was but small but I guess you will not find a bigger room at budget price in City.
T.
Great location in the CBD.
Very comfortable beds with great pillows.
Friendly staff
I.
Met all my expectations. We needed a bed for the night at short notice and a great price. Friendly staff, easy to come and go. This is now my new go to when in town.
B.
First room had cockroaches and no bowls. Asked to move and they did it without hesitation. Beds were comfy
J.
Staff is extrem helpfull and very friendly. Room was very small and the toilet was'nt cleaned by the staff. Door is only closing when pushing very hard.
D.
No thrills hotel at great prices, located in the center of the CBD. Really enjoyed the stay and looking forward to going back. Everything in the CBD is within easy walking distance as well as Sky Tower.
k.
Location is perfect. You can access to most of the tourism spots within 10 mins walk. Even hv a kitchen room. But noisy at mid night as there a pub or bar at the below. Ppl yelling may distributing.
M.
Small rooms, but decent price for its location (very central). Friendly, helpful lobby and cleaning staff. Fast Wi-Fi. Comfy bed.
F.
Averagr place to just spend the night. Strategic location. But the reception was not much of help. Asked for reservation confirmation 3 times but didn't get one with full details. Left my phone charger behind and asked for shipping, was told will get house keeping to check and give a quote. Never heard back even with follow ups.
D.
Small rooms, but decent price for its location (very central). Friendly, helpful lobby and cleaning staff. Fast Wi-Fi. Comfy bed.
S.
Good for one night stay. Small but comfortable rooms. No aircon but front desk had a fan available.
B.
It is what it is. Economy budget hotel, a nice clean bed for the night with good hot shower.
Great downtown location.
B.
Budget hotel. Badly designed bathroom but still usable. Tiny room but still okay. Has windows but are 1cm away from the next building. Great location though
P.
Cheap, very central to Auckland city centre. Rooms are very small. If your are after a place to sleep, this is good. A bit noisy at night with local night clubs near by.
M.
Very convenient location. Staff were very helpful. The room was small but well appointed with everything we required available.
A.
Was pretty decent for the price. Couple of things were a wee bit clunky/old but would definitely stay here again for cheap accommodation
t.
Pricing and location is definitely a 5! Rooms are kinda small. But all in all it is worth it, especially if you want to be in the middle of the cbd area.
M.
Great value for money. Polite helpful staff situated just off the middle of Queen street. Ideal for short term stays
A.
Small rooms for the price, but was clean, has friendly staff and is in a fantastic spot!
T.
I liked thus place it never had much view in our room and not enough space.
S.
The rooms and hallways are cramped. There is no wifi or internet in room. Have to use reception lobby desktops for same. An oven and a hotpate present, but without utensils(which have to be lend from reception) not to much use. Cheap rates, considering the location and other options. Laundry again to be contacted via reception.
No cable tv, just freeview, which is basically crap. Noisy neighbourhood with mudnight pubs and parking lots around.
Gud for crashing in for a night, not for longer stays, and oh, almost forgot, their one of the two lifts, never work.
A.
Twin rooms are too small to comfortably spend time in them. Beds aren't hugely comfortable. It was clean though!
T.
Pretty basic but clean, quiet, cheap and right in the CBD. Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a refresh.

This has everything you need for some where to lay your head down, freshen up etc, our intentions when using this was to attend a concert, would have been best if my request for early check in had been kept though, other than that awesome, these are the pics of the view when your algud with heights, or over your fear to go there haha
r.
Good location, though room was small but it was just for a night stay since we had flight next day. Close to shops and Skytower.
V.
Excellent location and tidy room, just missed an air con. Only thing to be aware is that you'll need to rely on food from other places as what they offer is pretty bad
A.
Nice hotel clean facilities, rooms bit small bit thats all good too.
A.
Book high floor with balcony. Stay during weekend. No construction voice.
Walking distant to Sky tower and St.Peter cathedral. Right on thr corner is Queenstreet. Convenience for Skybus.
