M.It's not great, but still better than some hostels in Auckland CBD. The rooms can be pokey, and some of them smell. There's also the noise factor as the building doesn't have soundproofing, and there is a need for fans in each room.
There are two kitchens, with the one on the top floor a better place as well as the common room and balcony outside being a good area to socialise.
The showers and toilets are reasonably good, although there doesn't seem to be enough of them for the number of people that can stay there.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Really 3.5 stars.
A.Easy walking distance to everything in town. Otherwise a pretty standard hostel. Had a shared room, and was quiet - no partying or anything going on. Fully equipped kitchen and a meeting room on every floor. I believe they have weekly bbq's though I skipped out on that. Quite happy with it overall. Staff was very helpful when I needed to cut the length of my stay at the last minute, no issues with the refund.
M.The staff are so nice the only reason I don't put 5 is mainly because my first roommate did smell but they let me switch rooms.
S.We stayed in a private room with a double bed. The room and facilities were clean and they had towels and a washing machine and drier you could use. At the time when we stayed (August 2018) the upstairs bathrooms were undergoing renovations and we had to use the downstairs bathrooms but it wasn't a hassle. Please note this place isn't suitable if you have accessibility requirements. The entrance is up a flight of stairs and there are a couple of steps up to the first floor bathrooms and the second floor is up another flight of stairs.
N.The room was a little bit smelly and the shower was dirty. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is not to far from the Sky tower.

It would be a task to find a place in the city with the atmosphere of this backpackers. Beautiful staff, helpful, kind, went out of their way to help you with whatever needs needed to be met. Exceptional people, rooms were kept in amazing condition. Kitchen and bathrooms were always tidy and clean.
T.I've spend 1 year straight in this hostel, great place to meet people and have a good time. Free Wifi, small dorms (maximum 4 people in the same room), big balcony/common area upstairs. Super convenient location if you want to go out or explore Auckland city.
L.Nice staff. The place is well located and there are not too many people. I liked it.
G.Very sympathic people. Nice for party people travellers but a little bit noisy during the weekend (music bars). Rooms are ok but a little bit old. Toilets and bathroom are clean but old too. A good backpackers place.
K.The location is great. 3min walk from the Sky Airport Bus and 15min walk into city center. Bus into center just across the street. The hostel itself is very basic equipped. Very small lounge with 1 couch in front of a tv. The big roof terrasse is the best spot to hang around in the hostel.

T.I had a great stay at K road city travellers and especially for the price, I did not expect it to be so good. Most remarkable is the really friendly staff, who even made a hot milk for a sick member of our group and were always there to help. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was okay, the bathroom was really clean and being so close to a big road, it was still really quiet.
I would definately recommend this place.

M.Hostel was in such a good spot, close to Queen street which has majority of what you need, buses right outside and plenty of places for food right next to it. Staff were super friendly, Charles the manager was a massive help and the cleaners were kind and friendly. They all help with printing docs you need and the atmosphere was amazing, not too loud but social enough, met loads of amazing people and there was just a really good vibe about the place. Worth the extra money for the private room aswell. Gives you the best of both worlds.

A.(Translated) I stayed here for 3 weeks. It is a good place to be in step and do procedures for AKL because it is in the center and is the cheapest. Good price / quality ratio Do not demand too many amenities, it is basic in all its services in general. Many people working and living long term. Small rooms, cleaned every day, there is washer and dryer to NZD 3 each. The people at the reception very well. Key deposit NZD 20. The wifi is very good and they do not charge you separately.

Me alojé aquí durante 3 semanas. Es un buen lugar para estar de paso y hacer trámites por AKL porque está en el centro y es de los más baratos. Buena relación precio/calidad. No exijan demasiadas comodidades, pues es básico en todos sus servicios en general. Mucha gente laburando y viviendo long term. Habitaciones chicas, limpian todos los días, hay lavadora y secadora a NZD 3 each. La gente de recepción muy bien. Depósito de llave NZD 20. El wifi anda muy bien y no te lo cobran aparte.

整體來說都不錯，樓上的陽台適合和朋友聊天喝酒，遇到不少法國人，也被法國室友請了啤酒，員工都很熱心，地點也不錯
