K.Stayed here after flight cancelled to Brisbane. Absolutely fantastic service. Kept bar and restaurant open to ensure all passengers off flight were catered for. Arrived there around 11pm, bar manager was amazing. Top marks to him and all his staff. Would definitely stay there again.
A.I really like it, it was very roomy it has a small kitchenette with a nice size fridge for a motel room, and little oven and 2 elements a washer and dryer in bathroom good service no complaints
H.Interesting place, didn't really spend long there as it was arranged by Air New Zealand after a disrupted flight from Queensland. But the amenities were all there, only time for a few hours sleep, bathroom use, and a cup of coffee.
Big thank you to the guy on the counter, arranging rooms for all of us at 3am (some wanting extra beds for kids).

J.Great hotel close to Spark arena and Britomart. This was my first stay and i was really pleasantly surprised by the hotel! Im a gold member of hotels.com and received some free benefits during a promo such as free parking, breakfast and a bottle of wine. This made our room super cheap for the night when taking these things into consideration.
The room itself was a decent size, comfortable, lovely shower, clean and with a lovely balcony. We found it pretty quiet and im not sure there was anyone else staying on the tenth floor with us haha. The staff were really good to deal with, breakfast in the attached restaurant really yummy, and parking a breeze.
I found it handy to have a large mirror (not full length) in the bathroom, usb plug points and a fridge. The complimentary chocolate was also a nice detail :)
Id love to see the following improvements, full length mirror on the back door of the wardrobe, robe hooks in the bathroom to hang your towels or clothes, shower cap, extra toilet roll, compendium and a luggage stand.
I would definitely stay here again!
L.My go-to because of the excellent location near Britomart shopping and restaurants precinct, plus Ferry Terminal. Lovely staff. Can vouch for the (adult size) rollout bed option for a brief stay with a friend.

A shame that the gymnasium, pool and tennis court are not actually in the hotel but are a 7 minute walk away on the 4th floor of another building!

G.Another great hotel to stay at, train station a 7min walk away. Sky City Tower about 20min walk. Waterfront only a short walk 🚶♂️ also ferry ⛴ services with excellent eating places along the way.
A.The location is great for city visitors. The unit was kind of clean and tidy when we got here for a week stay. But after two days we expected some basic room cleaning, but that didn't happen. We asked the reception to have the room cleaned while we were outside, when we came back it was not. Apparently they only collect the garbage when you ask for cleaning. Internet connectivity is poor, speed is so-so, but it keeps dropping so often. The toilet was missing some basic toiletries such as hair conditioner (wife and daughter) and body lotion. There was no nose in our unit.
I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but when you pay almost $2,000 for a week, you expect more.
J.We stayed for 3 days at this apartment hotel. The location is good since it is in the downtown and close to he ferry terminal as well. Our room was awkward with the bathroom located on the opposite end of the apartment. It had no mirror in the bathroom since there was a window looking out to the office building next door. There was very poor storage for clothing. We had only a few hangers to hang things and only 3 very small drawers inside the closet which could hold almost nothing. We had to keep most of our things in our suitcase. I would definitely not recommend this place for long stays. The kitchen was satisfactory but you must keep your things very simple if you wish to cook. It did have in suite laundry which was very useful. The front hotel staff did not seem very well trained and not knowledge of the area. When I asked how I could get to Mission Bay he said it was not far. Just a 15 min walk. In reality it was 6.7km and that would take about an hour and a half. We also asked about city bike rentals and he knew nothing about it. The gym is completely useless and we had to resort to paying to going to a gym nearby. Overall, This is not a place I would stay again.
J.Reasonable accommodation. Three bedroom apartment. Rooms were clean and tidy, but a little "tired". Many broken window catches. Also plain glass bathroom/toilet window looked straight into an office floor of a building no more than a meter or two away. Needed to keep the blind drawn in there for privacy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt like it was a little pricey for what it was.
N.I had booked a studio apartment and was thrilled on arrival to have been upgraded to a one bedroom apartment. Fab location a short walk from Spark Arena. We were there for a concert so it was perfect. Friendly helpful staff on reception. Comfortable and amazingly quiet. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

J.Good quality apartment. Arrived very early in the morning as had flown in from KL. The lady on the desk was VERY unhelpful about storing our luggage or telling us we could get a coffee or breakfast. Her attitude was just, "You can't get into your room until 3pm". Basically her attitude was "go away and don't come back until 3pm". Fortunately, the staff on reception when we returned were fantastic.
M.Nice apartment. Handy location and a reasonable price. Hard to find a good 2 bedroom, kid friendly unit for a reasonable cost and the Waldorf ticked all our boxes. Even a dishwasher. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Nice simple breakfast that doesn't break the bank.

P.Nice enough for a budget hotel. Clean and tidy. Very small rooms though, not as nice as the on line photos.
J.Hot water didnt work half the time but that was due to renovations and was the fault of the builders not the staff. Other than that experience was fantastic, rooms were clean and comfortable, excellent view of the harbour and a 15 minute walk from central Auckland City.
S.Noisiest Hotel we have ever stayed in! I think we must have been given the worst room! It was on ground level room "114". It was at the end of building so the driveway & walkway the side of unit. The outdoor area could be accessed by anyone walking up the driveway. Directly across the hall from our entrance was the garbage room and every morning at 5am we were woken up with the very very loud opening of the roller door and the garbage (bottles etc) being emptied into the garbage truck for what seemed a long time. The cleaners room staff room was also across the hall way and they were often noisey coming & going. Every night the noises of people walking pass the back walkway going to & from venues till the early hours of the morning. This is the first time in all our travels that I have ever complained about the noise issues. All our windows & doors were closed and air conditioning on and still it was a very big problem that made our stay an unpleasant experience. The amenities of the unit were fine but don't stay on the ground floor if you want any sleep.
G.Arrived early from an early flight to pleasantly find our room was ready, always nice after an early morning flight. Staff had bright smiles, friendly, and accommodated us whenever we needed help (such as leaving our luggage with them after checking out to continue sightseeing). The room (studio with balcony) had modern furnishings, great number of amenities such as laundry machine, dishwasher, ironing board etc. Air-conditioning was a great plus especially for the summer heat. Sound-proofing was great especially considering near the busy Beach Road. A shower was available made for disabled individuals along with the lift access means anyone could stay there. Had a balcony that faced the Sky Tower meaning personal views of the New Year's fireworks. Had a hotel-wide card access issue that was delayed being fixed since it was New Year's and the technicians were away, but the staff were flexible in helping the guests access their rooms. Overall, I would greatly recommend the Waldorf Stadium Apartment Hotels based on my experience. Would stay there again myself =)
L.Apartment was spacious and well appointed although the TV was small. Also, the road traffic was very intrusive and was difficult to sleep at night. Stayed there twice over a 3 week period on the second and third floors. Both very noisy. Would probably stay again.

Breakfast room is very small, and range of foods is limited, but good quality. We didn't see it as value for money, considering the surrounding cafes, and wouldn't buy it again.
Beware hertz car hire, who are very expensive. Catch the Airbus into town and rent locally at 20 bucks per day all in (recommended by hotel) _ unlimited kms, no excess.
A.Very posh and looks very luxurious apartment hotel. Staff members are very helpful, and friendly. They don't have a fixed check-in time, if your room is ready, they'll let you in to your room. Their lighting in the room is a bit dark, as their flood light only have narrow downward angle despite of its high wattage. Most rooms have balcony, though views from each room will varies. The room have kitchenette as well as fridge. If you look for 2 bedrooms apartment, one of the bedroom will be in the middle of the apartment, so will have no access to any natural light.
M.Solid accommodation. Nothing super fancy but good value, good location and a decent breakfast. Good of you're looking for a reasonably priced accommodation in Auckland. Nice option too if you have some groceries or want to eat in.
A.Service wise, Waldorf Stadium Apartments was good. Workers were polite however there was a bit of a shock in regards to the cleanliness of the rooms. The room we stayed in was EXTREMELY dusty. My girlfriend is asthmatic and this was a huge issue she was coughing and sneezing throughout our entire stay. Even getting the room serviced everyday by housekeeping made no difference.
The amenities were good, there was a washing machine and dryer. As well as a microwave and stovetop.
Location wise its a decent 10-15 min walk to the CBD however Spark Stadium is just behind so if you're attending a concert or sport event its in a good location. Their are a few decent restaurants within 2-3 min too.
W.Very chic and clean. The suites have all that one could need. The balconies are a great touch. I would happily stay here again. Located in a nice area as well. Just a short walk to premiere restaurant and shopping districts.
C.Very good location. Extremely central to great eating, arena, and shopping, all within walking distance. Tidy rooms although somewhat let down by the small details (eg tiny TV, damage to some walls, dark bathroom). Through website, it was suggested parking was included, but in fact wasn't. It was also difficult to determine where we could park on arrival to check in (we ended up circling the block several times to work it out). Instructions at time of booking would have been extremely helpful.
J.Standard hotel generally, rooms aren't massive, but clean and comfortable beds. Location is excellent for downtown Auckland and the arena, and the prices are far better than a lot of other hotels in this location.
G.This is the second time our family has stayed here and it is highly recommended. No problems with young kids, is very quiet, close to Britomart and Spark Arena. Parking building behind can be used and ticket validated for discounted overnight parking. We will be using again if needing to stay in Auckland City.
V.Was supposed to be in the Waldorf Celestion, but due to a problem with their booking system, we got moved to the Waldorf Stadium, which was just across the road. Booked and was given a two bedroom apartment. One night was fine, but I don't think I'd stay any longer. The twin room was at the front of the suite and was noisy if the windows were open, but hot if the windows were closed. The double room was internal, with the only natural light coming from the other rooms (a high level window between the two bedrooms and French doors leading into the main living room).
The main selling point for the hotel is its location.
J.This was well priced with a awesome continental breakfast. Parking was $29,00 for the night and was safe and covered. Takes abit to find the parking. Beds comfortable. TV reception was poor. But close to viaduct and was close to all eating places and Countdown supermarket.
P.Stayed in the family studio fully equipped with kitchen,laundry and drier.
Close to the Spark Arena in the heart of Auckland giving you a view of the city lights from a private balcony.
The lounging area space was ample. The second room contains two beds adult sized but suitable for children.
The main king bed is in a separated room with a sliding door entry which is a nice touch.

Staff all very friendly however the room we had was very run down and tried,
Couches had rips and stains on it, kitchen cupboard doors broken, stains on carpet in both bedrooms.
If rooms got a bit of an upgrade or renovation this would be a perfect apartment for a mini vacation.
r.Service was quick and efficient. Wifi was useable. Location is optimum as it's near countdown (supermarket) and a number of restaurants and cafes. This hotel was booked for me through my travel agent.
However, I'm taking away 2 stars because out of all the places I have travelled and all the hotels I have been in, this is the only hotel I have experienced which charged extra for checking in early.
Every other hotel I've been to was able to accommodate early check-in as long as there was ample empty rooms available. If the staff told me there were no rooms available, I would take it at face value and wouldn't mind waiting. But to tell me that I had to pay extra for checking in early? Preposterous!
They even had a signage to show how much a guest had to pay according to how early the guest arrived.
I was suffering from jet lag and needed rest. But I could not do so in public of course. I ended up napping inside the Maritime museum halfway through watching a video.
To be honest, I wouldn't stay again if I was spoilt for choice.
T.Rooms are modern and kept to a good standard. Unlike other hotels you will actually find some channels worth watching on the tv. DO NOT bring a car unless you have to, they charge $30 per night.
S.From the moment we arrived 6 hours early to be given our room so we could change to the point where we left, we felt well looked after from genuinely concerned staff. Topping it off was a modern, clean apartment with excellent kitchen and a great view of the harbour. Internet was reasonably priced at 4gb for $30NZ.
I was highly impressed and would definitely recommend this place.
S.Located right in the CBD, this hotel is a convenient location from the Quay. Clean and well equipped units for an apartment. The staff is helpful and friendly. But during our visit in late December it was understaffed, so things took time to get done. Wifi is a problem. But they helped us with a modem. Would rate this as Value for money.

Staff very helpful, allowing us to park overheight vehicle (roofbox attached) for 2 nights in above ground short stay parking - much appreciated.
Breakfast suited us - avoiding fry ups anyway, so pastries and "muesli" ingredients & decent coffee machine great.
O.The room I'm staying on is on the first floor (2nd here), the bed is very comfortable and the apartment has a lot of good featured including complimentary gim and pool (warm in winter) in a building nearby.
So far they have been super good hosts and the price is very competitive
P.Ok apartment based hotel rooms very generous and comfortable a little away from centre of cbd or warf/bar action but only a 5 to 10 minute walk obviously very convenient to stadium (1 of 2) and a supermarket and grog shop only a minute or two walk away. The staff were friendly but didn't eat there to many other choices. Was good value but a bit tierd.
B.Rooms are generally good and room cleanliness is fine. Rooms arent particularly well insulated so noise from street isn't great. However most frustrating things is the internet. I had free internet from booking directly but was trying to watch a video and it kept cutting out - having to re-enter the code again and again. Ended up giving up and connecting laptop to mobile phone data. Completely ridiculous in this day and age that they dont provide reliable good quality free internet.
A.Stayed there last year in November. Excellent location, excellent services and amenities and extremely courteous staff.

R.Excellent hotel, we had a 2 bed room apartment every thing was clean, & all the appliances in the kitchen worked. Having just arrived from a 23 hour flight from the UK we immediately turned in, only to awake several hours later when everything was closed, however the night staff directed us to a 24/7 super market where we could stock up on food & drink.
M.+: good location, modern decor, big rooms.
-: Despite what the website may insinuate, Wi-Fi is not free for many of the rooms and even when you pay extra to have it, its a slow connection. You have to pay $30/night for parking. Also, in addition to very limited channels on the tv, our connection was terrible (aka most channels were unwatchable).
Overall I would say spend your money elsewhere.
N.Nice clean and boutique rooms with balcony. Very comfortable and central to things for travelling. Customer service is excellent and very accommodating. I'd highly reccomend staying here. Only down fall is limited parking.
J.This service apartment is located close to the city centre, with nice amenities. The shower was strong and the bed was nice. However, it has the worst wifi connection I have ever experienced. Internet connection being the most important must-have for tourists, yet they can't provide us with a consistent connection to their internet and the constant logging in and out for their kind of weird internet system was just a nuisance. For that reason, this place only get four stars. Also, I requested for a higher floor with rooms not facing the main road, yet they locate us with rooms on third floor and worse still facing the main road. I understand the service apartment may be busy and fully occupied during the period of my stay however nothing was mentioned on why my request cannot be met upon checking in, considering the fact that I booked it half a year ago.

T.Nice and convenient apart-hotel and reasonably priced in an always expensive Auckland in February. We booked an appartment with two bedrooms, very comfortable, big living room. Only two buts, wifi was not working properly till we complained several times, and finally they brought a router, and after that it worked perfectly. Room for breakfast was also a little bit crowded and breakfast was nothing special. Location is very good at walking distance from most Auckland key places. I will repeat.

B.June 2015 - very nice 2-bedroom unit. Clean and tidy. Good location; shops are mostly within walking distance. A short walking 🚶 distance to Countdown supermarket.
Quiet place at night, no outside noise (i.e. Vehicles and people shouting).
Modern deco, and is manned 24/7. Reasonable price.
I don't mind walking to Queen Street during sunny day 🌞 but if raining ☔ then you will need to use an umbrella or a raincoat. Or you can always use a taxi 🚕.
M.With over 200 rooms this place was quite a surprise. Fl 7 2 bedroom quite excellent as was tv reception & channel choice. Ground floor studio, rubbish reception, only 2 channels available, tv too small & too low for watching from bed. Hotel should do more to promote urban walkway to rear. A local A4 map would have helped.

Did have some trouble getting into the rooms due to key cards not working first try.
B.Awesome place to stay. Lots of shops nearby, and really good if you are going to a concert at Spark Arena. Only set back in our two singles were actually a double bed.
Z.Unit were spacious and clean. Room were generally good. The internet need to be improved as our 2 nites stay has no internet connection at all. Lift should be renovated as the carpet has unbearable smell.

R.Great location and walking distance to town. 24hrs countdown supermarket located next to the apartment apartment was clean and well maintained. Parking need to pay extra $25 per day and located behind apartment building.
P.Looks good only had a friend staying there so not sure of their service but huge rooms for a good value rate and very convenient location. And in top there are serviced apartments so like home far from home with the convenience of having your own kitchen and laundry facilities.
A.The website says that we have free Wi-Fi and parking but when you get that the receptionist will tell you that it's just one code for the Wi-Fi and you have to wait one person use it to connect .. it is annoying and not very practical. About the carpark me and my boyfriend had to pay extra 45 dolares. Don't trust on the website, call them and make sure all the informations are correct. Besides, the girls in the kitchen are very friendly and make really good breakfast!
T.Receptionist was a little rude we checked in a hour after we had planned to. The apartment was average 1 internal room had no windows. Nice and tidy place to stay.
J.Although the location really is perfect for concerts at Spark arena and long term stays in the CBD, the actual rooms are average. The air-conditioning unit sits on the balcony so it turns it into a hot box outside, it's horrible.
A.Awesome stay here for one night while we went to the Khalid concert at Spark arena. Can't get any closer - it was literally a hop, skip and a jump to get from our room to our seats in the arena haha. Just a little stuffy in the room - I'm not a fan of air con but opening the balcony door did the trick.

T.An apartment hotel in the city centre - central location. Its also very near to most car rental companies (around 5-10 mins walk). We booked our rooms for 2 nights but no one clean it, and the internet connection was unacceptably bad.

R.Great location. Literally a stone's throw away from the Sparks Arena. Near city centre. Place is cleana and very up to date with friendly staff. Parking could be a doozey cos it is tucked at the back of the hotel but the conceirge gave maps and directions to get there.
N.Nice furnished apartment hotel. However as it is a hotel I expected more. Only a tiny bit more expensive than Air BnB. I am disappointed that for my 7 day stay, they are only house keeping once. On the package it said free WiFi, didn't say it was 2gb a day until notified when I got there, can't even watch stream a movie from Netflix without chewing through that data. On top of that the TV isn't even a digital TV, only has analogue antenna signal. Hence trying to watch Netflix instead. Good location, right next to a 24 hour grocery store (countdown). And close to the prime CBD areas.

N.Had an enjoyable stay at the Waldorf. Room was tidy and in a good location. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi had a weak signal and didn't always work.
S.Great apartment clean had washer and dryer and two great beds! They even stored our luggage for us prior to our apartment being ready!
O.Location is great if you are wanting to go to spark arena, wireless internet only works sometimes and is really slow, customer service is not the best. But overall it's an ok place to stay.
V.Booked a 3 bedroom apartment. The so called 3rd bedroom was so tiny that you could get claustrophobic in it. There is a heatpump only in the lounge- so no temperature control for the bedrooms. I guess the location is ideal (close to britomart), and the cloakroom is huge if you arrive a bit too early for check-in.
J.Parking is not included also WiFi is seems to be limited to only one device or else I can't figure out how to make it work for two. The room and location are both very good

B.Waldorf stadium is a nice hotel and near to britomart station from where one can easily get bus train fairy to reach any place in auckland. Service is good and staffs are also nice.

k.An OK place, but no clear identification from street level of which building is actually Waldorf Stadium Apartment Hotel. Parking at entrance to drop off bags was not found until later, so that initially had to drag bags from parking building behind hotel, downstairs and round building and through back entrance.
L.This is a really great place to stay. Super close to Spark Arena, which is great if you are going to a concert. I think this is a great place to stay at!
