We stayed here for our MIQ experience. Justine and the staff were great and did their best in what was tricky circumstances. Food was a bit variable, but it is hard to cater to everyone's palates and staff were always happy to help make experience better. After a tough couple of days when toddlers food was half missing and then didn't turn up the team made a special effort to rectify but also the next day add some special treats for my daughter which was a lovely touch. Would love to come back one day once MIQ days over as run by a great team. Thanks!
E.
Good service, it has a great view, however there isn't a kitchen and has a tiny fridge. Otherwise, it also has good decored bedrooms. Good job!
A.
In general terms the hotel and its service are very well. However, I’ve been there doing MIQ for 10 days, fresh air area is not enough big, it should be bigger to have a good walk between those boring days.
K.
I stayed here as it is a dedicated managed isolation quarantine (MIQ) hotel for mid-Auckland. I would rate the Pullman 5++ stars on their staff. They were all nothing short of amazing, considering the constant influx of locals and international travelers - and their unique needs. All of the exchanges with all departments were: professional, courteous, respectful, and caring. But, it seems the continual deployment as a MIQ facility has taken a bit of a toll. Some of the furniture was fairly scratched, the curtains were obviously mended/sewn in several places, the bath had its plastic coating pealing in a noticeable section, and the lampshades had water/moisture stains. However, I anticipate that once the Pullman re-emerges as an iconic central Auckland hotel post-MIQ - such wholly cosmetic matters will have an opportunity to be addressed. But, the place has excellent 'bones' and considering the team there, I would definitely be inclined to stay with them again.

Admittedly my stay is for quarantine from re-entering the border. That being said, my stay was very good. Really comfortable beds and great service where it could be provided. Slightly tired interior but isn't bad. I would however expect to be able to connect my phone to the smart TV and have the full range of smart TV apps of which there were none available.

A big thank you to Pullman Hotel for a beautiful stay during my 14-day quarantine. To the military, security and police who look after everyone’s health and safety here. To the staff who go over and beyond to make us comfortable on a daily basis. To the chef who made all the scrumptious meals. And to Justine and her team for being creative, thoughtful and helpful to ensure everyone’s stay here are pleasant. This is absolutely a 5-star hotel in every way. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

I am currently staying here for quarantine and the staff so far are extremely nice, the food is superb and everything is overall very good. All the staff are wearing all the right equipment (Masks, gloves etc). This hotel fells like home, so it has earned a 5 star review from me.
R.
5 stars for 5 star experience. Thanks for a great, comfortable and relaxing stay. Nice big rooms! Loved it !
O.
We were here for two weeks isolation.
We found everything very good.....staff were great...very helpful cheerful....room was fine....great getting Sky on TV.....modern TV mirror ed Netflix. Food was good....sometimes it wasn't quite hot enough but overall it was fine.
T.
Great staff, great accommodation and outstanding gym/pool facilities even throughout the covid pandemic. I had a great stay! The rooms are big and well appointed. Plus, if you’re an Accor plus member they are offering half priced room service food, which is truly delicious.

Got a chance to spend my 14days of quarantine here. Haven't enjoyed much but not their fault .
Staff is good , view from room is too awesome ,get to see skytower lighten up at night from the window. Decent size room with smart tv of 55inches ,kettle and table lamp. The only thing I don't like about this hotel is room dont have enough lighting in it and shower is old school so we to adjust hot and cold water taps to adjust temperature which so tricky i would say.if they can improve this I might reward them with 5star.
Overall good experience.
D.
Very nice hotel even during covid times. Great staff who do go the extra mile
S.
The service and the staff and the food was faultless. Highly recommend place to stay.
J.
Highly reccomended to all
Very clean, easy access to everything, parking was not a problem even though they have valet available. We had a brilliant veiw, privacy, great room service, enjoyed the inside pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna. The staff were very professional and friendly they made me and my family feel so welcomed, I was overwhelmed by the service we received after being let down by our original accomadation we had booked 2 months prior. We traveled 7 hours with kids to get let down and was abit stressful but this place deffinitley made our day/weekend I can not thank yous enough nga mihi.

I've posted reviews EVERYWHERE!
They are amazing I'm going back again that's for sure you get very well looked after. Make sure to book ahead and put in all of your requests like what amenities you want how many robes if you want a room with bath or balcony etc. Room service was quick, the staff were AMAZING and so kind and reasuring. This place is deff a 5 stars rate! Pool, Spa, sauna steam room were clean, breakfast came pretty quickly and loved every moment of it. Can not wait to book again!! Also become a member too makes parking cheap.
Oh bed is comfy by the way 😊👌
M.
Very helpful staff, friendly and welcoming. Yum choc chip cookies jar for guests in lobby. Room was spacious and lovely. Very central.

I have been so very fortunate to have been housed for the last two weeks during quarantine at this wonderful Hotel. The facility is 5-star without a doubt. I have experienced amazing comfort, entertainment, delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The staff have been incredibly attentive and offer excellent service. I cannot recommend this Hotel more highly.
S.
Staying here in managed Quarantine until our 14 days are up. Am bit disappointed to see the room is pretty tired compared to when I last stayed here pre Covid so frankly overdue a refurb as it sure ain't the 5 star it's billed as! Credit to the staff here tho as pretty sorted out processes and no food complaints given the hassle of dealing with guests who can only eat in their rooms!
B.
I loved the bed! It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The sheets and comforter were perfect!
What brand of sheets were they? The bellman was wonderful and helped us with our luggage, our need for directions, help with our shuttle to airport and our Uber trips. Great hotel, great service, great breakfast buffets & beautiful weather. Couldn’t ask for more!
R.
Our miq stay was good. All our needs were taken care of.
M.
Great hotel! Huge bathroom in apartments. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Loved it. Not much vegan options though
D.
Great place to stay. A good variety of room prices ranging from $180 to $800 per night. The $800 one has 3 rooms good for 3 couples for instance. The food is fantastic but at the moment 14th June 2020, the food is served in boxes and delivered to your door. The hotel at present is being used by travelers returning home during covid virus.
Believe me there are certainly worse places to stay for 2 weeks
Only 1 gripe. The windows don't close properly due to older styled aluminum windows
They plastic has hardened and lets the wind in. It must be costing a small fortune to run the central heating. I was cranking it up to 28 degrees.
Will defiantly be returning after the virus with the wife to try the gym, sauna, pool ECT.
They have Sky and free WiFi too.
K.
Stayed here on the 21st september, we have stayed a few times in the past couple of years and was never good enough to write about this night tho from the moment checking in to the moment checking out was a great experience.
Check in, friendly and quick, smiles on faces and made sure all was done and we were on our way.
Room just your average room.
Dinner ive experienced the food when it was its worst, butafter having a word with there new Korean exec sous chef and eating the food it was a amazing experience, The lady who was in charge of front of house very attentative always aware if we needed anything and made a most amazing dinner experience, food is pricy but it is well worth it.Drink reconmendations paired well.
Breakfast, was good as usual here great selection of food great way to start the day.
Check out quick and flawless made sure we enjoyed our stay. Great stay

Stayed here on a Saturday night for the weekend. The staff were very friendly at reception and concierge. The room was s little small, had king size bed which was very comfortable. Bathrooms were extremely small and also dated. Swimming pool and facilities were very good. Had breakfast included which was nice, although the buffet or bacon and eggs we had to wait for, as the the pans were empty, same as butter, so could do better refilling these. Our table was cleared whilst we were getting some more food which wasn’t great as we hadn’t finished. Good location in the cbd, although a very steep walk back up from the cbd. All in all a good stay, but could be some improvements.
S.
We stayed at Pullman for one night during a short visit to Auckland. Although a typical Pullman, this Auckland one has a very nice vibe. Personnel was welcoming and super friendly, the lounge at the ground floor nicely decorated and the bar had some decent cocktails to offer.
Location: good location very close to the city centre. Also, at the beginning of zone 2 which means that you don’t have to pay for public parking if you are there during a weekend.
Room: Our room was at the 10th floor was relatively spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Also, the room was dark enough, although there were few leds blinking from time to time. In general the room was decent. The furniture and the design were a bit old fashioned and not what you would expect after seeing the contemporary design of the ground floor. Also the bathtub was damaged with the surface being peeled off.
What stands out: Location, staff friendliness and Breakfast! Amazing breakfast-Quality options, huge selection.
What we didn’t like: old fashioned room, bathtub peeled and not properly maintained.
Overall, nice location, friendly staff, great breakfast.
Would we visit again? - Yes

Upscale hotel in Auckland. Spend 2 weeks mandatory quarantine there earlier this month. Staff were extremely courteous and responsive. Rooms are cozy and we'll lit.
Menu was fixed, but good was great quality.
Restaurant, pool and spa were closed due to Covid.
K.
Amazing ambience and service. The rooms are spacious and screams luxury. Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Special mention to Mr. Anirudh Dasgupta for extra special treatment after he learnt that we r honeymooners. One of the best hotels in Auckland. Totally Recommended😍
A.
Wonderful stay at Pullman Auckland. My family and I spent 2 weeks in 2 connected rooms while in Auckland and we cannot believe how wonderful this hotel is. The service is incredible; easily the most friendly staff in any hotel we have stayed. The food is absolutely terrific. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back!
E.
We had our two week managed isolation at the Pullman. Fantastic food for every meal, staff were great and attentive. Facilities were nice and we had a pleasant two week stay.
D.
I am writing this from the perspective of isolation, as I completed my Managed Isolation/quarentine here these past two weeks. I was pregnant and all alone and very worried. But the nurses and the staff were lovely and made the days go by with ease! Special shout out to Kim from the food and beverage team who helped with all my food alterations :) and the lovely Scottish gentleman (Raymond) who always was so helpful and cheerful. Both fantastic assets to the Pullman team. The rooms are big and clean. The service is fantastic. I would say the only issue I had was the thin walls and the noise coming through. Other than that, fantastic! You'd be lucky to quarentine here.
L.
They definitely look after you when you return from overseas. One of the selected hotels in Auckland, NZ for managed isolation. Staff are friendly and helpful. One of the few hotels that has a recreational space for those isolating, which is very spacious and important for mental well-being during your stay. If this is their service for those returning from overseas to isolate, I can only imagine their 5-star treatment during normal business operations.
P.
Always professional and upmarket. Catering is superb. Parking available under the hotel. Big conference facilities with multiple screens and good sound system. Accommodated our 350 staff comfortably.
Room spacious and well appointed. Very quiet for the location. Thank you.
K.
The staff and service was excellent across the board.
Room service meals were decent and reasonably priced.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, however, a little dated and very noisy. I could clearly hear conversations and TVs from the neighbouring rooms, as well as plumbing and hallway noise (Superior King Room).
S.
Great hotel. Staff are really fantastic, polite, efficient, professional. Restaurant is great for breakfast lunch and dinner, room service dining is efficient and of good quality. Bar is all good with great service The pool and spa are well worth checking out.
Rooms are always clean in my experience, definitely worth going for a residence room if you can, however standard rooms are also good. Great options for families with 2 and 3 bed rooms available.
A.
What a memorable stay at the Pullman Auckland. Not only because of the excellent facilities the hotel provides but the service given to us was exceptional. On all levels the staff were very helpful and courteous. One staff I would like to mention in particular was a lovely young lady called Paris, upon receiving us on arrival and Upon departure she was attending to us like VIPs , even tho we aren’t haha, but I wanted write this review I’n appreciation for the attention and caring attitude displayed to us from Paris and also the team.
C.
Good location close to city centre. It was to be expected but I was treated with courtesy and respect. Nothing was a problem. The staff even equipped me with a mask for using public transportation. Saved me going to my car. Highly recommended
K.
If you are quarantining here you are so lucky! Staff are fantastic. Food is 5 stars and showcases New Zealand ingredients. The chef must be a wizard. No ocean views until at least 6th floor but the window seats are great to sit in and read a book in the sunshine.
J.
I am staying during isolation from August 11th until August 26th and it is amazing. The food is so delicious and top quality. The service is so great the staff are very helpful and kind. Also I was able to order a bottle of Merlot that wasnt even on the beverages menu. I will definitely want to stay here again without having to isolation. And I want to say a huge thank you to the staff who have made this experience welcoming and comfortable. Thank you very much!
K.
First time here, enjoyed my stay. Staff seemed happy, always a good sign, and had a good customer focused attitude without being stuffy, which I like. Guests need to keep in mind the staff are people too, and will tend to respond to how we treat them. Pool, sauna, steam room, gym all fabulous, with good outside area and nice shower rooms that are spotlessly maintained. Excellent breakfast, high quality of food, good service. Room housekeeping was immaculate. Our room was fine, though we could hear our neighbours through the adjoining door when they got loud; normal conversation levels shouldn't be a problem.
K.
We were warmly greeted each time we arrived back at the hotel from an outing. It all starts there if you ask me. Great staff. Our kids (two boys 11 and 14) thought that was awesome.
The rooms were very comfortable, well stocked and well serviced each day.
It was such an enormous bonus having the spa (I had a beautiful massage), gym (we all used it everyday) and pool area (the kids and my husband swam and enjoyed the steam room daily too)!
D.
Pullman Auckland is an excellent base from which to explore the city and, overall, a positive contribution to the Pullman brand. This review applies to the hotel, not the Pullman apartments.
The suite was great, offered excellent views over Albert Park and the city. One can see the harbor from the other side of the building. Internet connectivity was fantastic, check-in, and out very smooth l and staff were, in general, professional and friendly. The fitness room is large and well equipped.
So why not 5 Stars?
The executive lounge was pleasant and quiet, but at times understaffed so that waiting times can be rather long. Also, a more varied breakfast menu, as other Pullman hotels have, would be helpful. The dining area near the lobby felt too crowded and busy for breakfast. And the hotel will hopefully upgrade some of the rooms and facilities to make the overall experience a little bit more slick. I'd give 4.5 stars if Google allowed for that.
A.
We arrived on Friday afternoon and the staff were all very attentive, parking our car and bringing our luggage promptly up to our room. Bjorn went the extra mile, giving us complimentary drink vouchers and advising us of the best time to have breakfast if we wanted to avoid a long queue, which we really appreciated. Our requests for ice buckets and extra room keys were addressed within minutes and nothing was a problem. We also asked for a late checkout and we were given a 2pm checkout, no questions asked and no extra cost involved. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The water view is lovely. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We will definitely stay again and will recommend to all.
A.
This was the first time I stayed in a Pullman and based on my experience it will hopefully not be my last. They upgraded us to a larger suite, the spa and swimming pool (25m) is spacious, the front desk and concierge staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is a short walk into the heart of Auckland's downtown. The breakfast buffet is very good. We really appreciated the little extra care we received including being able to take a shower before leaving the hotel before our late night flight from Auckland airport. Big thumbs up to this hotel.
M.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, especially the valet team! The breakfast buffet was great.
The room however(queen superior) looked a bit tired. We could hear a lot of hallway noise and the plumbing.
Overall a good experience.
E.
Lovely accommodations and overall look of the hotel. Great decor. Central location very close to shops, restaurants and the wharf. Really nice breakfast.
Bathroom was a little tight and the room was cleaned very late. Otherwise it's a great place to stay.
T.
We stayed at the Pullman a couple of times for special occasions and i must say the service is great. We were always greeted with a smile from staff the moment you arrive. Last time we stayed for our aniversary we were upgraded and had a cake in our room congratulating us with a special card. We stayed there a couple of nights and everytime we were at the bar the bar manager and staff would ensure we were looked after and made us feel special. The rooms were great clean with comfy beds. The pool and spa was awesome but i didnt get the chance to try out the gym. Every aniversary, me and my wife would choose a different holtel in Auckland but for the last two years its been the Pullman only because no matter who you are they make you feel like you are number 1. We are staying there this coming weekend for two nights and im really looking forward to a great relaxing weekend with great service, a comfy bed and a great view of the harbour. I forgot to mention cooked brekie is to die for so go on and add it to the package because you will not regret it. Well done to the staff at Pullman you guys are amazing.
P.
Stayed here for 11 nights and it's a great hotel. Is it worth the price I paid. No
Rooms are tired but not do bad. Big room with separate lounge and bedroom.
Food: breakfast buffet is OK but expensive.
Dinner. Wow. $38 for this piece of salmon. $10 sides to go with it. Three ordered. So this meal called me almost $70.
Would I stay again. Yes but I would eat elsewhere.
M.
This place was great. Oddly we didnt stay here, we stayed next door at another hotel. We were so dissappointed with our hotel that went over to the Pullman for everything (drinks, breakfast everyday, a couple dinners).
We tried to move our accommodations to this hotel, but there wasnt any availability.
The staff was so great. In fact, all of the staff we came in contact with were so friendly and cheerful. We even asked if we could take a look at a room and a staff member took us up and showed us a room.
The rooms are so inviting, clean, and nicely appointed. We feel that if the staff is this nice and we are not even a guest, I can only imagine the great service they provide when you actually are one. When we do come back, we will definately stay here
J.
Went for father's day lunch, great food, but they made it seem like you couldn't have seconds, even though it was buffet. But the kids had fun. They could have provided more adult services, the services they provided there was a queue, and I think many missed out including me.
So was it worth it? Maybe not even at the membership price.
But the Ribs were cooked to perfection hence 3 stars.
Z.
It is quite pricey but it is what you expect from a 5 star hotel. It was nice to have some complementary bread to start off with to tie us over until mains come out. When mine and my partners mains came out, $44 for just siorlen steak and sauce and arlind $40 for just chicken and sauce quite expensive there. On top of that ordering sides, but in saying that the food was good. Desserts were also very nice creme brulee was very very nice. However our waitress Hope who works there was very helpful and knowledgeable.
J.
The hospitality was amazing. Our initial greeting was by Roger at the front desk. He was professional and accommodating. We had our room available early and bags were already in the room. The bar was a bit crowded for happy hour but the bartenders were so attentive and generous with allowing us to try the different selection of wines. The room wasn't massive but perfect for us. We had a great view on the 12th floor! The only complaint was our room must have been right below the ballroom because we heard a wedding or event until 11pm Saturday night. Not crazy late but could still hear it. Overall the staff was wonderful and my wife was so impressed with their spa treatment.
B.
nice hotel, nice staff and nice rooms. unfortunately aged and urgently needs a refresh. the room was clean but it didn't look so because of the old carpet, bathroom and walls. it was freezing when i entered the room and the AC was set on 19! i understood why when i stopped it! it got a very old unpleasant smell.
K.
Greeting was freindly, welcoming and polite which really set up our stay in a positive way. Room was comfortable as was the bed. Everything was nice and clean. Could not find the price list for the bar drinks anywhere when in the room so hesitant on using this. Checkout was busy with only two staff on and there was quite a queue. So perhaps one extra around that 10 am to 11 am would be helpful.
M.
We stayed at the Pullman for a work event and found the room very tidy and the bed extremely comfortable. The front staff were lovely, helpful, polite and friendly.
Unfortunately breakfast did not make the grade, it was very busy in the dinning room but there were no glasses for juice n the food under the lids were cold. It was a small space that didn't work well for getting yr food easily or hot. Perhaps we just picked a bad time.
L.
Went to the Pullman for a conference. Great facilities very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and kept the room well maintained throughout the day. Meals they supplied were fresh and exciting. And range to cover all appetites. You should seriously consider the Pullman for next venue.
H.
It was fantastic, staff were very attentive particularly as we booked the room for our wedding to get ready in and have photos taken. We were upgraded for free, the room and food were spectacular! Lots of lovely small gifts from the manager included also, it really made our wedding experience enjoyable and relaxed. We would absolutely stay again, we are even returning to the restaurant tonight at the end of our honeymoon as the food was so good!
S.
Lovely hotel.... we had trouble sleeping in the cheaper rooms due to the thin walls but the staff and service was amazing... they upgraded us, explained they couldn't do anything right away (hey, it's the middle of town and some guests aren't considerate) and we had a lovely rest in a different tower. upgraded!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Other than thin walls (and bare in mind I'm the lightest sleeper on the planet) all of the service, the staff, the amenities, the food, the little touches.... everything was fantastic. Emil was looking after us (forgive the spelling) and as duty manager he was just the most attentive and amazing host. Every effort made and appreciated.
D.
Rooms are fairly standard, although the pillow situation is weird - why wouldn’t you have king sized pillows for a king sized bed? Confusing and uncomfortable. I didn’t try the breakfast here, which most seem to rave about, but the thing I most enjoyed was the pool and spa area. They have gorgeous clean change room facilities that lead into a pool, sauna and steam room. It was fabulous finishing the workday with a sauna or time in the steam room.
M.
Booked a 1 bedroom suite for a dinner party. The room was spacious and very comfortable. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and accomodating to our needs. The room rate included breakfast. The hotel was near full and the restaurant was busy, but great service ensured we were served without having to wait. Really enjoyed our stay.
A.
It was a great stay. Feeling really well treated by the staff. Though, my room was a bit "smoky" (maybe the previous guest smoked in the room and the smell was still there) when I arrived at my room. Concierge was really helpful, though they might need to be more well co ordinated, as that time, I phoned the concierge to get my car ready for me, and when I came down to get it, it wasn't ready and needed to wait another 10 minutes.
Room sevice was great. Prompt. The room itself seals the deal. Front desk staff knows how to treat the guests. Breakfast was great as well, lot of choices. Overall, pleasant stay, just need some improvements.
B.
Stayed for 3 nights, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile. Room nice and clean, and even had a suprise cake for our Anniversary!
Staff were very accommodating and were very helpful when we faced an extensive delay with our flight. Thanks to the staff at the Spa for allowing us to use the amenities during this time!
c.
Could not fault my one nights stay. I was generously upgraded to the Executive floor with lounge access. My room was large with 2 toilets, 2 tvs, coffee machine, plenty of toiletries, lovely big fluffy towels, robe, slippers, bottled water. I spent time in the Executive Lounge where a lovely polite, friendly young lady served me on Friday night. Dinner in the Restaurant was very good and great service. The continental breakfast was plentiful with lovely fresh fruit and good coffee. Again great service from the gentleman on Saturday morning. Would highly recommend.
A.
I had a good stay at the Pullman, there were plenty of facilities that's available for guests to use while the staff were friendly and accomodating. The reception and lounge area were modern and had everything that you'd expect. The rooms were neat with comfortable beds, and good bathroom amenities...but some of the furnishings were a bit worn and can tell are in need of being updated.
L.
Had the best stay there this weekend with a friend and our two young sons. The doorman (Steve?) was one of the highlights for us. Warm, engaging, helpful. Customer service plus without being overt, just a lovely man. Room lovely, bar service great, breakfast delicious, couldn't keep the boys out of the pool, sauna or spa. A fab mini break and I'm signing up for an Accor plus card! Thanks for a wonderful experience.
M.
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Pullman and the service was outstanding, especially from the doorman who always had a spare bottle of water ready for me when I left the hotel, the lovely girl at reception who checked me in and gave me a quick rundown of where everything was, the technician who tried everything he could to improve the reception on my TV, and the wait staff who delivered my room service meals and offered to put the ice cream in the fridge to keep it from melting. Truly top notch! The room was great and comfortable although as mentioned the TV did have pretty poor reception, and the food I had for breakfast and room service was lovely. As I was traveling for business the connectivity room was very handy for working in. I didn't have an opportunity to check out the gym but I've heard great things about it so will definitely check it out next time!
J.
We enjoyed our stay at your hotel very much and found all of the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We came to stay for our wedding anniversary and many of the staff seemed to be aware of this making our evening more special with their comments and service. The bed in our room was very comfortable and the room at a good temperature. Also good to have real milk for our tea and coffee! We would like to come again, thank you.
J.
Great service.
Rooms could benefit from a slight upgrade as it gives and old feeling, but very comfortable.
Gym, sauna, spa, pool & massage Amazing.
Food from the Tapastry from breakfast to dinner 5/5 including room service.
J.
We thoroughly enjoy our first stay at the Pullman. The room was nice and clean, the only downside was the bathroom fan was not working so the bathroom got very steamy. I did inform front desk on checking out. We love the breakfast buffet, such a variety of different foods. Situated nice and close to everything within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.
M.
Excellent service from the staff. Very good breakfast buffet with wide range of choices and can cater for special requests also. Room was a little old with not great lighting but was still fine. Concierge and front desk staff very good and responsive and were extremely friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
A.
Was offered a late check out which was good.
Pool was really nice.
Paid extra for a Harbor view, but the room we were given was at the end of the corridor with very little view of the Harbor and overlooked by the apartments next door. Not worth the extra money.
At Breakfast, there was a big queue meaning that by the time we were seated, breakfast service was nearly finished. Lots of items had run out and despite asking, were not replaced. Service was very slow.
The Bar has a very limited choice of tap beer with only two choices available (Others were 'Not On').
On returning to our room at 11:15 am after breakfast, both our keys stopped working (I assume that the late checkout was not enabled on our keys). Had to return to reception twice before they worked again.
Overall, a nice hotel in a great position, but a few niggles with our stay.
R.
Efficient check in, friendly staff and a clean location. Executive lounge is well stocked and worth the extra if you want a quiet option for breakfast and afternoon snack.
Quick access to downtown attractions.
I can't ask anything more from a hotel.
L.
Room and facilities excellent. The pool/gym complex was great, and we ate in the restaurant. We had a wee problem with the hotel having no record that we had paid for breakfast. Amrit seemed to have a lot of trouble with this, and didn't handle it well I felt. Karishma, on the other hand, was professional and gave great service.
We really enjoyed our stay here, and would come again.
J.
Friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. The location is really great, on top of the hill overlooking the central business district and surrounded by green park space. If you enjoy walking and don’t mind some hills to get your heart rate up a bit then this spot is great. Or, save the calorie burn and take an Uber 😉 On the downside, the food is underwhelming — expect more taste, creativity and options.
J.
Very good hotel with great room and nice restaurant for breakfast.
Great gym and pool, the only problem is they open until 10pm only.
Gym should be open 24 hours like most hotels to cater all kind of guest.
I would give 5 star of the gym is 24 hours.
C.
had a brief business stay in Auckland - rooms were well appointed and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Fantastic gym facilities and a nice casual bar downstairs - higly recommend and will be staying there next visit.
L.
Tapestry Dinning. We were given a Grab one by family at Xmas. We chose to use it for our wedding anniversary. There were red petals & a small red rose on the table. The food was wonderful, the staff were very pleasant & made you feel welcome. Would highly recommend.
t.
the staff were awesome, just a couple of minor issues, we were given our room(around 3.00pm), but when we turned up the room was still being cleaned so had to wait in the foyer for half an hour, the elevator didn't work, Tv reception was terrible and no tv guide. the add said a bathe and shower but was really a shub.really only minor issues, as mentioned staff were fantastic, special mention to the barstaff and the concierge. the lounge area was great, and the pool and gym were well maintained
T.
Very nice hotel with a generally friendly staff. The room was well updated and clean while keeping it's original character and charm. The one negative thing was that the king bed I had seemed to be two separate beds pushed together. Not a big deal since it was just me, but for couples it might be a bigger deal as you can feel the frame edges in the middle of the bed. Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food, as well as fresh juices and pastries....something for everyone. Gym was not bad for a hotel gym. Location was also nice since it was close to the CBD, but not right in the bustling busyness of it all.

A great hotel just a short walk into the city. Our room has views out to the port and across the harbor to Devenport. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food and beverage cannot be faulted. The buffet breakfast has something for everyone including freshly made pancakes and omelettes. The pool, steam room and jacuzzi are a relaxing interlude after exploring the city. We thoroughly recommend you book here.
W.
It's a nice hotel, kept tidy and welcoming. It's quite close to the city center but you'll still need to walk a bit. Staff is fantastic, super courteous. Food is good, I wouldn't complain, breakfast is really nice although quite expensive (around 35 nz$) and the music while I was eating was tribal house music, felt like I was in a beach club. Fresh and tasty fruit though. The view from my room wasn't outstanding however I could see the harbor so it felt nice anyways. Internet is nice and speedy, no difficulties in your connection or skype calls or video streaming. Tvs are a bit small. Good toiletries with really nice scent choice (lavander).
The gym could be a bit bigger however there's a really big spa area with a long swimming pool with 4 lanes, a jacuzzi, one big sauna and a Turkish steam bath. It's really great.
Elevators don't work. You have to fiddle too long with your card and with the buttons. It gets frustrating and you waste much time. It was 8 of us struggling to get to our level.
I recommend this place. It's nice and of good value.
M.
Our stay in Auckland couldn't have been better; nice and clean and well equipped room, extremely friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast buffet! And that being at a hotel which is perfectly located; close to everything but yet in a quiet part of CBD. The servicemindedness of the staff was excellent from the very beginning of our stay, and the facilities are just outstanding; the pool & spa area, and the gym are the frosting of the cake! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
A.
Excellent Hotel situated in a quiet, private place at the heart of the City Center. Had lovely views, great food and delicious room service. Staff was accomodating as well. We loved our stay as the hotel was walking distance to Queen Street and Britomart. We'll definitely come back.
t.
Dated but clean staff at desk very good. Noisy rooms can here lots of noise from other rooms. Sadly unable to make a coffee at 12am even tho info says it's available till 3. Water temperature and pressure not even in shower
E.
We had a most satisfying stay. All the staff were wonderful, professional and seemed very happy in their jobs. Our rooms were clean and bright and well appointed. Everyone looked after us so well, it made it so easy when we were travelling with small children. Thank you so much.

Dated of stayed June 10,2017 to June 12,2017
Check in and check out fast, check out the room, they just asked if you use any mini bar? Did not check my room because they welcomed us.
Very good customer service, just free Wi-Fi can not be used more than the next day. If you want to use the Internet must be purchased the next day.
June 2015, I have lived, but no more records of our personal information, we just told them.
Breakfast is great, there are so many choices.
All the staff are very friendly and nice.
Rooms and beds are comfortable, mini bar complete list of items
V.
A wonderful experience, our 2nd time at the Pullman and it's always a special time away. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. And the facilities are awesome, pool, jacuzi, sauna etc. The food at the Tapestry restaurant is also top notch
S.
I highly recommend anyone wanting to stay at Pullman Auckland or if you are thinking of holding a Conference or Event in Auckland. The staff are courteous and helpful, the facilities are excellent and the artwork throughout the hotel is so cool. I love the hotels direction with sustainability, health and wellness. The rooms are well set out, some with spectacular harbour views. The food is fresh and tasty.
H.
Loved our stay here. Staff very friendly and well trained. Willing to help even if it is outside of their normal scope (housekeeping had a go at cleaning an expensive item I almost binned and did a great job). Breakfast was really good and the room clean and very comfortable. On checkout Liz came around to have a chat with us to gauge our experience, thanks for that and see you back in Oz soon.
E.
It was nice, quiet and clean. The staff was welcoming and kind :)
For that, despite the "but"..., I give them 4/5 ⭐️
To improve:
• ... the breakfast ... was fast food without heart 😐 The pastry , the COFFEE (?!) , the fruits, even the eggs weren't tasty ...
The choice, yes, but no quality 😕
• The Internet was also quite slow !!! (maybe because the hotel was fully booked?)
It's a pity because all the rest was great...
H.
Teddy bear for the kid was great. Room faced the road, no double glaze....very noisy. Room itself is very tired. Carpet looked like it had done 10 years in a pub. Bathroom small but sufficient. New pool area is great, and kiddy loved it. TV remote works only if 1 inch from the sensor, and TV picture quality very poor. Expect more in the HD era. Overall the rooms need an major update.
g.
This hotel has exceptional service everywhere. There are impressive little touches such as water in the lobby. The rooms are modern and have good amenities (including CNBC on the TV) and free WiFi. It is a ten minute walk uphill from Queen Street.
J.
The concierge & reception service was excellent-very friendly & courteous. We had a slight hiccup in the dining room with miss communication between the wait staff & the chef which was resolved with discussion & handled very professionally & courteously. We still enjoyed our stay & having left an item in our room when we left, again the housekeeping service to help us was excellent.
V.
It was really good. The staff were kind helpful and fun. The breakfast was top notch
The spa and pool lovely. Only downer was the ceser salad we got in room service at night. It was abit flat and serving was small. But really im just being picky. We will come again and make it our regular.
T.
Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff and excellent location. Stayed here after a disastrous couple of nights at another Auckland hotel, and in comparison this was a breeze. I work in the travel industry as an account manager, so will have no problems recommending this property to my clients.
D.
Really liked this place. The beds are soft and comfy, the rooms are stocked up with mini bar items, there is a safe in the closet. The favourite thing was the 25 meter swimming pool with warmer than usual gym temperature water and very pleasant as it did not have chlorine odour. The hot tub is also by the pool.
S.
It was really a wonderful experience. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. I did ask for a bucket of ice to be sent to our room on check in but it never arrived so had to follow up after approx. 45 min. For a 5 star hotel though attention to detail on the wear and tear of the hotel is important. Paint missing from borders around the floor, scuff marks on walls, furniture with scratch marks, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would have been an extra touch. Its small detail but its what I look at when considering a property for a conference.
T.
Great value for price, Pool & Gym facilities are really good, Rooms were tidy great views a little cramp for 2 adults with kids.
A bit of a hit a miss with staff, some were absolutely friendly others just didn't seem to want to engage with you.
Dinning area for breakfast was full during the weekend we visited. Staff seemed to have issues with seating of guests as we watched a few occasions were the guest would go help themselves to breakfast only to return to the table and find other people sitting at their table or about to be seated at their table.
The final morning breakfast there was a huge queue of people waiting to be seated, we ended up with others sitting at the bar and reception area to have our breakfast (not ideal with 2 kids under 7).
A 3am fire evacuation also didn't go down too well (appeared to be a false alarm).
Bar staff probably saved the rating from going down to 2 stars, very accommodating with some late night dessert and drinks.
Will amend rating should we choose to visit again.
M.
We stayed here for just one night after fling into NZ and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff at the front were all friendly and efficient. The room was great and the location is convenient being only a few minute walk to the shopping and restaurants on Queen St. The only thing I could fault were the staff at the bar could lift their game a bit. Two of them did not acknowledge us while standing at the bar for a few minutes and it was only when the manager walked in he apologised for the wait and said that someone would be with us shortly. When we finally ordered they did not know what the wine was my wife ordered from the list and spilled it all over the glass when pouring it without cleaning it off.
Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely come back here.
E.
This hotel is amazing. When you pull up to the hotel, employees open the doors for you, take your bags to the room, and offer you refreshments such as tea, biscuits, and water. The rooms are very nice, and the bathrooms are a good size. The location is central, but has hills on all sides, which means you’ll have a hike to get to the hotel from the CBD. The pool/spa area has a nice pool, a hot tub, a steam room, and a sauna. I would definitely stay here again.
W.
We have stayed in our share of hotels during our life time but the customer service at the Pullman is exceptional. The people there are always ready to serve but not intrusive. The quality experience starts the moment you step in the door. We celebrated a special occasion at the Pullman and the management acknowledged us in a very special way. Our grateful thanks to all the people who work there.

As always enjoy a break away. Pullman is located close to city without being amongst it all. Great service, nice and clean, friendly staff, beautiful food with complimentary drink and paper. Look forward to my next stay. I could of got an upgrade to the Residential side which majority of the time I stay there as the rooms have a balcony and spectacular view of the harbour, city and Albert Park, but nothing was available at the time so will check availability next time, otherwise all good.
B.
Great location close to queen street & sky tower. Has really nice pool/ sauna/ spa area & gym. Drinks at the bar are a little pricey. Rooms are nice with good TVs & Bluetooth speaker. Staff are helpful & friendly. Some rooms have balconies & views of the ocean.
J.
We received a couples 1hour Massage as a wedding gift from hubby’s work. We originally showed up the first time when I was 6 weeks pregnant however was told we would need to rebook as I needed to be 12 weeks. Well we finally managed to chose the voucher on Friday night and the experience was definitely amazing!
The ladies were friendly and lovely. My massage was divine and felt like I was clouds. She had just the right amount of pressure. At the end I was so relaxed I didn’t want to move! Hubby didn’t like his one due to the lady continuing to try and fix his “frozen” shoulder which we told them about at he start not to touch as nothing can fix it apart from surgery. It’s pretty common everywhere we go a lot of massage ladies “think” it can be fixed by massages/ stretching etc with out understanding the background.
I would definitely go back for my pre-natal massage, highly recommended
C.
From the minute we pulled in the drive, everyone was so nice. The room was comfortable. I had room service each day which was fast and delicious. I had just come from Germany so I needed some all around nice people. It was in nice walking distance to water and great restaurants.
M.
We were greeted warmly right from our first encounter with staff at the Pullman. Check-in was efficient and our room was very pleasant. We did not have time to use the complimentary drinks at the bar unfortunately, but I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
E.
Written about my stay on Trip Advisor.
Georgina outstanding.
Brittany is very good support
All colleagues good except I think an Indian gentlemen when I checked out. Not to the same standard but in a lesser hotel he maybe considered good.
Bed is not so good because it ripples when the other occupant moves.Otherwise very happy.
I am just posting the negatives to make my review objective.
Breakfast outstanding. Housekeeping very good.
L.
Fantastic stay at the Pullman. The room was spacious and all set up with a portacot for my 8month old. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially the valet Oscar who I felt went out of his way to help me when I was checking in with a sleeping baby. The menu for room service was full of yummy things and we enjoyed a swim in the pool.
S.
Loved staying here. Amazingly friendly staff, great vegan food options, very clean and safe. Location in Auckland CBD couldn't be better
n.
I really like the hospitality starting from the front desk staffs all the way to the catering specialists. The location is well-situated and very close to most of the tourist places that I wish to be at during my stay. The overall cleanliness is good however I have sensitive skins type and therefore caught allergy after my stay at Pullman. Overall experience is fine and satisfied.
M.
We had one night here in a 2 bedroom apartment. What amazing staff ++ From the check in to the porter, to the valet to housekeeping from room service, and the restaurant for breakfast to check out- the staff were extremely friendly, professional and so helpful and made our stay great. I would be go so far as to say, they were the best staff we have experienced in any hotel in any part of the world. Well done :-)
최.
We had a great two-night stay. All the staff members were incredibly kind and professional. Room service, wonderful. Room was clean and nice. I'd love to recommend you to stay at pullman auckland.
R.
Had agreat time platinum recognition was superb food in Tapestry was extermely good and staff in in executive lounge exceptional . In fact staff throughout hotel were superb. Only down side was bfast in lounge in other hotels offer at least 2 hot choices at least (some even offer full bfast but in the lounge rather than restaurant) but this hotel didnt or if it did we were not informed of it . Otherwise a great stay thanks
J.
Right from the moment of arrival to departure the staff were excellent the only reason for not give 5 stars as I was unable to connect to their secure Internet but that could have been due to my anti virus software on my phone. I ate a breakfast & lunch at the hotel and the food was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable 😀😀🌟🌟🌟🌟
W.
It is the first time I stay here, Good service for sure, Big room, nice bed, Good location as well. In kind of downtown, but quiet area. It is very impressive, also have a great winter deal with almost free buffet breakfast, will definitely come back again or recommend to you if you want stay in AKL city center.
S.
We found the service in the restaurant for dinner & breakfast very average. There was no attention to detail. Our dinner order got mixed up, despite being very clear with regards to food intolerances. Long waits with no drinks, etc
In the morning, the selection of food was good. However the service again was lacking. We asked for a flatwhite & got served Nespresso. While sitting we noticed others had flat whites from the bar. Had to ask again & explain what we meant.
L.
Overall we enjoyed a welcoming and comfortable hotel experience. Our room was very clean and quiet with very comfortable bed. When we arrived at 4pm our room wasn't ready despite a standard check in time of 2pm. However, we appreciated being given two drink vouchers to help pass the ~20 min wait time for the room to get its final inspection done. We enjoyed drinks (delicious margaritas) and a bar meal, but long wait times between drinks (i.e.5-20 minutes) because of an architects convention and not enough bar staff present at times (restaurant was also too busy to serve us at 6pm, despite several tables not in use). Poached eggs at breakfast were disappointingly hard boiled. When we returned to our room at 11am our key card no longer worked which was very annoying given I had prearranged a late checkout time of midday.
J.
It was great from the moment we arrived till the time we left. We got up graded to the Executive suite, and a delicious surprise congratulatory cake followed soon after. Then we had a refreshing swim and spa. We had drinks and nibbles in the executive area followed by our complimentary Accor rewards breakfast in the morning. What a wonderful way to relive the day that we got married at this hotel 32 years ago!
N.
We had a suite for two nights. The room was spacious and comfortable. I cannot comment on anything else though heavier we didn't have breakfast or dinner on-site. The only negative that we dealt with was the thin windows that let in lots of street and outdoor seating area noise.
I.
Clean an comfortable. Apartment was huge, with bedroom, living room, kitchen, very large bathroom and spacious balcony. Kitchen well equipped, including oven and dishwasher. Washer/drier. Good location near University and city. Ideal for a longer stay.
d.
I met a friend who was staying there at the Lobby bar for a drink. The cocktails we well made and the staff were attentive and friendly. There were free canapés circulating. A live guitarist was entertaining in tbe lobby. The decor was modern and the place felt comfortable and relaxed to have a drink in.
H.
Really great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the facilities like the bar, pool, spa were fantastic. The room had a great view and the hotel is located in a great position. Short walking distance to spark arena which was handy as we went to the basketball on the night we stayed.
A.
Pullman location is quite close to the city center. The staffs were very polite, friendly and helpful to accept me checked in at 8AM even though I can only get the room after 2PM. They kep my luggages and put in the room afterward.
Very helpful to show the direction to any place including any days tour.
The room was very clean and nice.
Overall, we are very satisfied.
N.
We had experienced very poor customer service with another hotel in the Auckland area when trying to book our hotel using gift vouchers from Australia. When we contacted the Pullman to compare we were very happy with the excellent customer service from John Nottage and his team. They checked us in with our gift vouchers no problems. The day before arriving to New Zealand I received a call from the Pullman saying they were excited about our arrival (as were we) and I was asked if there was anything further they could do to help us, I received helpful airport advice by a very friendly Pullman staff member that day which made our arrival stressfree. While at the Pullman we experienced fantastic customer service, complimentary water bottles daily, easily accessible and fast wifi, a daily phone call to ask if there was anything they could help with while we were there and fantastic housekeeping services. The room service dining menu was also fantastic as were all of the facilities including the spa, sauna, steam room and indoor heated pool. There were taxis out the front at all times (not that we needed taxis as we were within walking distance to the harbour which had bars and restaurants and we were only a few minutes walk from the arena also) and the airport shuttle was very easy to use as the front desk also offered to arrange that for us on departure. We were incredibly happy with the hotel and would HIGHLY recommend anyone stay there when visiting Auckland with its friendly staff, expectionsl customer service and central location I would definitely stay there again! Thank you Pullman Auckland staff you really went above and beyond!
R.
We were attending a 2-day reunion celebration. The room was quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. We weren't in the room much but it was crowded. Ideal for one occupant but crowded for two. Its awkward to not have bedside tables on both sides of the bed. The WiFi was free which is a plus but slow, which is a minus.
Staff service was always responsive and helpful.
C.
I completely agree with my predecessors: the service quality at Pullmann's is incredible. Staff are very attentive and friendly, and they do great you and wish a nice day every single time you walk through the entrance door. Things like this are noticed, because they don't happen everywhere (sadly)... :-)
The room was nice and spotless, and was always well-maintained.
Big plus: we stayed there as part of our honeymoon and they did bring a little surprise to our room! Thank you :-)
We also loved the swimming pool and jaccuzzi downstairs, spacious and not overly crowded.
We can 100% recommend Pullmann's and it's perfect for a city trip to discover Auckland or when you have business in the city, as it has a great location.
T.
Absolutely beautiful place. Check in staff were brilliant, took less than 2 mins. Food was devine, staff overall were brilliant. Room was beautifully clean. Best part, being in the same elevator with a few Aussie rugby supporters while hubby and I happily talked how brilliantly the ABs played oh and won lol.
H.
Without doubt one of the favorite hotels In auckland! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the Paradise Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks.
everything is beautiful!
Thanks Pullman!
T.
Good central city hotel, with all amenities. Great staff.
M.
What a great stay, from the time we checked in, and every stage of our stay, the staff were fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were awesome. Second time we have stayed here and it has become our favourite Auckland hotel. We originally chose it because of the location but the service we received has confirmed that it will be our hotel of choice.
N.
I went to the spa at Pullman. The staffs are friendly and attentive, as soon as you go into the relaxation area, you can't hear any nose from the gym or the pool near by but are placed in an area with dim lights and natural colours to help you calm down and relax. It was my second visit but so far everybody's been very friendly and polite and loved the time i was there. Some may say that the location of this place is a away from the whole central area but that's what I like about it. I feel like that little distance away switches my mood and allows me to relax a bit more
D.
Great hotel! The breakfast is awesome! Staff are friendly. In regards to the rooms, I have stayed here quite a few times, some rooms are 5 star rooms the others are 4 to 4.5. But overall the hotel is great and will be returning a whole lot of times in the near future.
A.
The stay was good. All staff were very professional. Check-in process was quick. Room was good and neatly furnished but i felt room was small. Maybe 2 beds made it look small. The room air con wasnt very cold. The room needs an alarm clock. Beds were veey comfortable. Wifi is available but is a little slow.
Overall good experience
R.
OK hotel in a good area of Auckland.
However the services offered are not really 5 star level. Breakfast is extremely noisy and crowded.Tables are so close to the next that you are almost sitting on your neighbours chair.
Constantly some food is missing and the waiters have no clue what they do. Every 2nd table the clean cutterly is falling. As guest you have to make sure they don't bump into you.
For this room price you can find better options in Auckland.
J.
Perfect location for a stay in Auckland. The rooms are very modern and well kept. Staff is more than eager to help with anything you need, and the little welcome deserts are a nice touch! You really can't top this place...especially for the price.
T.
Excellent! OK it was a special weekend as we were in town for the Lions rugby and the fact that the Team were also staying in the hotel made it even more special.
The hotel, despite being very busy was very good. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and a good size. Would certainly stay again on future trips to Auckland and would not hesitate to recommend.
S.
very enjoyable, the time we landed and Chris was waiting for us at the airport to when we arrived at the hotel. I would like to thank the staff, especially the concierge staff for arranging an appointment for me to get my hair done before the Wedding. I would like to thank the girl who helped me set up the iron and board, so I could iron my outfit.Meals were delicious, atmosphere fantastic, room was great. Thanks for a lovely stay
R.
Room was spotless. Well appointed. Beautiful views of the harbour. The food at the restaurant was amazing little fussy on the wine had $135 bottle of shiraz have had better for half the price. Service in the bar and restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great.
C.
Excellent 2 night holiday stay. Our 2 room family booking included breakfast which was superb. Valet parking was smooth (the small discount for members was appreciated). Great the way the valet's offered bottled water when heading out for the day.
N.
I say here regularly and normally rave about it and love it. This time while it was pretty good there were a few little things that let it down. There was a lift out of order so you had a lot of people trying to use only two lifts, the hotel must have had a few big groups in and was full, so both mornings at breakfast I had to wait around 10 mins to be seated and then fight with everyone to try and get food. Was frustrating when you are in a hurry.
N.
I arrived the day after my scheduled arrival date for a 3 night stay, due to a problem with my booking agent. They had given away my room and said they had no rooms left, despite the booking being paid upfront. It took about 10 minutes at reception desk to resolve the problem, but to their credit they "found" a room for me.
Hotel is located on a hill a short walk from shopping and commercial precinct of CBD. Room was typical standard quality, size and cleanliness for this price range. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with large range for the size of hotel, although staff hard to pin down. Restaurant was also good, and we're very accommodating of my complex food allergies.
S.
Meet friends at Tapestry restaurant. Had drink at omni bar prior. Bar staff friendly and wasn't a rip off for a glass of wine. (Good measure and excellent quality chardonnay!)
Went into restaurant and excellent service. Food was fantastic for 4 of the 5 of us. Vegetarian option was boring. Inexcusable in today's world where massive spectrum of peoples diet. Sommelier found the same wine I drunk at bar (impressive)
Overall fantastic.
N.
Clean and modern business hotel. Was a great place to land on our first night of a 3 week honeymoon! Great amenities, huge pool w sauna & hot tub. Location was easy walking to City center. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Great splurge!
M.
Driving up to the front entrance service was swift with valet parking, check in was very effiecent although our room was not ready, however we were invited to a drink at the bar while we waited about 10mins, no problem. Suite was spacious, clean attention to detail, very comfortable bed. Bathroom while cramped had everything we required, could have done with ventilation.

THE PULLMAN
Stayed in many A Hotel for Buisness and Recreation the food is by far the best. Their breakfast for 2 is cheap costing around $20 Aus $12Usd, Bottomless esspresso coffee, full Buffette Michellin grade head chef from Fiji is one very impressive skilled chefs ive ever met in a hotel and the best Omelette chef without doubt. Their Wagyu Beef Burgers are 5* presentation and flavour. ROOMS aren't designed for more than 1 person per room as they're studio designs and share ensuites with the main bedroom so privacy isnt a given, not recommend to share a room with a college or friend. Definitely one of the best hostels ive stayed
E.
I thoroughly enjoyed every part of my stay at the Pullman. From being greeted at my car door to having my luggage put into the taxi after I checked out, I felt that I was genuinely cared for by the staff. The pool facilities were superb, as was the dining experience.
N.
The staff were amazing the room was perfect! They took very good care of us and we will definitely be returning again!
M.
Enjoyed the stay mostly, the room was nice and as Le Club Platinum was upgraded from exec suite to bigger suite.
However had several issues with service and when I sent them to hotel employee, got no feedback, like black hole.
Problems were:
repeat internet issues friday and saturday, unbearably slow, was fixed and slow again the next day
room not cleaned while "make up my room" sign was on.
sink draining issues, not repaired, although called specifically about it
breakfast queue on second morning was unacceptably long, 20 minutes
got told at lounge first evening: "your name is not on the list"
got no Platinum welcome letter, outlining benefits
E.
The Pullman was a great hotel to stay at. The service was excellent, despite it being a busy time when we were there. There was a large conference on at the time. Tapestry restaurant was excellent a great menu for breakfast and dinner. Waiting staff were efficient and friendly. I would recommend staying there.
I.
As has always been so, the staff are excellent: Mikayla who arranges our bookings; those at the Reception desk; those serving in the Lobby Bar and the Lobby dining room - they are well aware of how to relate to 'guests': clear in their role while being both welcoming and courteous ... they are well trained.
We were, of course, pleased to have 1109 - we like those rooms on the 10th & 11th floors overlooking the University and were happy to pay the small upgrade fee.
J.
We arrived mid afternoon on a flight from Sydney and we're looking forward to getting into our room quickly. Our check in was delayed as our room was still being cleaned, it was only going to be a "short" delay so they gave us a couple of drinks vouchers and we settled into the Lobby lounge. Well unfortunately short became nearly an hour of waiting and to their credit after my prompting they gave us complimentary breakfast the next morning. The food we ate while waiting in the Lobby was good as was breakfast the next morning. Good location as well with easy access to the main part of town without the noise of being too close. We'll be back to stay another couple of nights for our 25th Wedding Anniversary later this week and we are looking forward to it.
C.
This is absolutely NOT a five star hotel and the suggestion is ridiculous.
I've been going to this place for 15 years (and have seen it through two re-brandings) and I quite like it. One of my favourite places to stay actually. I just love the interior and the service is of a very high quality.
The food, though well presented is quite pedestrian, and given the disparity between actual culinary enjoyment and visual appeal (including menu descriptions), one might say the food is pretentious.
F.
The overall experience is good but I am
Disappointed in the quality of cleanliness and consistency of your housekeeping team. The amount of dust that collects on the head board of the bed is amazing. And each day the housekeeping will not wipe it. No replacement of toiletries on some days. Used cups are not washed.
K.
Disappointed that even after advising the hotel on the day before our arrival that we would check in at 3pm our room was not ready! Our room was not available until 3.40pm.
There was a lack of pillows in the room with only one regular pillow per occupant!
In all other respects our stay was great and the staff were excellent without exception.
P.
Currently used as isolation hotel.
Great staff and mouth-watering delicious cuisine. Definitely a five star.
D.
My family had a wonderful 2 weeks in Auckland at Pullman Hotel. Nice rooms, beautiful food, amazing service and a great location. Highly recommend staying here to enjoy Auckland CBD.
G.
From start to finish we were treated like special people, the staff/team were simply tremendous, helpful at every point and looking for ways to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The accommodation was as expected, the food and selection was lovely and nothing was too much for the staff.
J.
Location is great, downtown is just a walk away.
Rooms are of good sizes, wifi signal is strong in most rooms, gym is well equiped even with some HIT equipments and has an outdoor area.
pool is heated and indoor.
Breakfast is really good they even serve manuka honey and there is a juicer with most vegetables available.
J.
Loved it. Hilton/Sofitel used to be my staples, as loved the location/views/architecture of the building. However, Pullman blew me OUT of the water. The service and professionalism of their staff is truly out of this world. They treat every guest like royalty and I felt they genuinely cared about my stay. I am not the typical poloshirt, cashmere sweater, silver haired client - and for once this did not matter. Hilton/Sofitel in comparison tend to favour those whom obviously have deep pockets, treating the rest of us with disinterested politeness. A must for those where impeccable service is held in highest regard.
d.
As usual, a perfect stay; from the pre arrival telephone call ( a new service, maybe for Platinum returning guests?) to a rushed get away with the rain pouring down and no jet fuel at AKL. At least for Qaintarse passengers!
We had an upgrade to a deluxe self contained suite which was perfect. After a four hour drive our two infant grandchildren appreciated the hallway.
Room was recently updated with a fab new TV. Only issue was the pay TV was not working but fixed by the morning for the next guests.
s.
I was there for work, we held a Recreation conference there. They served an amazing bacon scone with maple butter, literally you must try this butter! Lunch was awesome with the most delicious roasted squash and we ended with amazing canapes. The room was large and stylish. The view was breathtaking as well, really recommend the Pullman for your next function.
A.
My favourite place to stay in Auckland. Always consistent and very helpful staff. The breakfast is pretty amazing and the pool, gym etc are very nice too. Can't wait for my next stay.
T.
Im a breastfeeding mum who attended a 3 day conference at the Pullman Hotel. We didn't stay there because we live locally. However, I have to pump breastmilk for my baby regularly.
The hotel head of housekeeping Lusie Waring has arranged for me to have use of their hotel spare room for two days and the spa room on the third day while I pumped in betweennthe conference.
My needs were catered more than what I expected.
I just want to say thank you to the people who went over and above their duty in helping out a mum like me. Thanks to Jom, Lily and especially to Lusie. :) Top notch service!
H.
Great experienced in here. The staff were kind and friendly, the rooms were good,.
Part of our group stayed here during our Shout conference.
Three thums up for this little old lady housekeeper! She greeted me every morning in the hallway!
m.
Walking in from the cold day that Auckland gave me to enter the Spa at Pullman. The staff greet you with smiles and soft voices. This is not just a Spa but you can use the pool, gym and steam rooms on your visit as well. After getting my robe and slippers i changed and used the free lockers to store my gear. Locker room is like what you see in movies of men's clubs, really nice. The spa was like walking into another world, with great waiting area with stone fountain in the middle. I got a Swedish massage and it was tranquility, soft music played while my stress was soothed from my body. One hour of bliss was to short. Will visit again.
U.
after my previous experience was extremely negative, this second time it was just
the opposite:friendlyness of staff, attention and competence were noticable all around
and especially in the executive lounge.
the standard and comfort of our room was also excellent,
and we will be back for sure!
C.
Best Taco's in the world.. They got me addicted to taco's! Wish I could have this every night! Best ever!!!
A.
Stayed in house as I wanted to experience the services of what pullman had to offer. I had an amazing experience from porters to checkin to my room, the bar team were amazing as always, came in for dinner and Hilda zach and kim looked after me, what a pleasure.. Yannick and Daniel also cooked up a storm that night, this was probably one of my top 3 dining experiences in my life! After dinner we went to the bar for more cocktails where shiv jerry and kiran looked after me! Delicious is all I can say! The morning after I came for breakfast, it was really busy but was more than happy to sit in the bar and have a lovely breakfast. Afterwards we went for a swim and relaxed in the jacuzzi and sat in the steam room! Would stay here without thinking twice about it! Absolutely loved it! Thanks
M.
We loved our room the great view the comfortable bed and the bath. We enjoyed the tasty dinners as well as a good breakfast.
The facilities were great and we loved being able to have a sauna, spa and swim in the pool.
M.
Location is excellent. Sky Bus drop off to and from airport is very close to the hotel as is the ferry port ( walking distance ) which was needed for the second part of my stay in Auckland; on Waiheke Island. Staff extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.
larger than normal swimming pool. Spa set up good. Pool a little cold for me , but well used by others. Did have to ring housekeeping regularly with odd things forgotten during the day ie one of milk, water or shower cap. But all sorted quickly.
R.
We went for lunch and it was very quiet. The menu looked extensive and the service was top level. Our food was over salted a basic mistake no first year cook should make let alone a cook in leading hotel chain. Very disappointed.
P.
Absolutely incredible service. The doormen are great, always remember you and always opening the door for you.
Mario was incredible. I had stayed here once before about 3 months ago. I then returned for my stay and he had remembered me and my name and there is no way he could have known my name. Thank you for your great service guys!
A.
We have spent time at a number of Accor Hotels including Pullman, Sofitel, Sea Temple etc and have always found the customer service to be excellent and the quality of the accommodation to be at a high standard.
For the most part this time was no different with the disappointing exception of the very poor water pressure in the shower and the fact the room looked in serious need of some maintenance. As the bathroom does not have an extractor fan (just a grille) the bathroom fogs up easily and shows significant deterioration/damage from water and steam, the room itself has split/cracked and peeling paint around the window and is in a disappointing state of repair overall for a brand such as the Pullman.
The staff however do not let the brand down at all, they are all extremely friendly with superb customer service skills and they are one of the main reasons we continue to stay with this brand.
D.
The staff were very helpful, the service was great. A good experience overall. I am a Platinum Accor member but was not upgraded, i think they were 100% booked up which would explain that though. I was able to make use of the executive lounge.
K.
My husband and I stayed at the Pullman and it is a very very good hotel. The staff are all nice and friendly, we will definately be staying here next time we go up. The hotel is very close to everything, all walking distance. Valet parking was set up very well. We could not get to use the pool because we did not have time but we will for sure be back to the Pullman in Auckland.
P.
Very agreeable
Staff were excellent and a great asset
Room was very comfortable although we thought the bathroom was a tad small
Just a small thing but the system of cards for operating the lift and the room locks is prone to failure-lucky we had two as one worked but the other did not. Hotels as a whole should be sorting this one asap.
B.
Excellent greeting on arrival and at the check desk. Room was comfortable although the bathroom was a little cramped. Asked for a newspaper in the morning but did not receive. Was going to hire a car and drive in but decided to taxi when I found out the valet parking overnight was $40.
Overall a good deal for a room and breakfast package and convenient location when going to Spark Arena.
S.
From the moment our car was taken to valet parking to the time it was returned for our departure, everything about our experience at The Pullman was quality, service and client-based. The room was fantastic; we greatly appreciated the upgrade. Check-in was prompt and professional, as was check-out; our baggage was minded for us for a few hours. Breakfast was of a superior quality.
L.
I booked 2 superior rooms with 2 double beds in each room. When we checked in we discovered our rooms were not close to each they were in different buildings. Also 1 of the rooms had 2 singles beds when I'd booked and requested for 2 double beds. I recommend you give your guests rooms they have actually booked and if they book multiple rooms at least make sure they are on the same floor!
M.
Spark had a conference here. Lovely facilities and great staff. The rooms are classic with nice quality fixtures, however modern and warm. Our room was a good size, not massive.
J.
We stayed for two nights in a one bedroom residence. The room was immaculate, but it was the service that really stood out. Right from pulling up outside the hotel in our car to driving away two mornings later, every single member of staff was polite and helpful. Exceptional.
M.
First I have to say I did enjoy my stay but there were a few issues. Firstly I arrived at 12.45am and my reservation was not correct it said I had double booked even though I had an email to prove I had cancelled with Preatigia once I realised The Pullman was Accor I rebooked my holiday through Accor. We used room service a lot at night and I think on one occasion in particular we sent the meals back and ordered another meal for my daughter which was just vegetables. Honestly it was terrible she should have just ordered a plate of cauliflower because 75% of the plate was cauliflower. Very disappointing. Our rooms were meant to be next to each other as I need help with my leg and we werent they told us at checkin we were close but she was in 609 and I was in 625. Also at checkout nobody helped my daughter with 2 large suitcases to get it to the taxi as I was on crutches. Dissapointing
D.
I always choose to stay at the Pullman when i am in Auckland (which is often) for either business or pleasure. The hotel has great facilities such as an impressive gym, pool and spa. The rooms have comfy beds , large LED TVs and fast internet . The staff are always professional and helpful.
W.
Pullman hotel
Situated just off Anzac Ave this hotel seems quite good.
I did not stay here only attended a conference.
Morning tea was good as was lunch.
Its a little bit difficult to navigate around some of the lower floors but managed ok.
c.
We were unable to get into our rooms until 4pm (rooms hadn't been serviced), and then we were not given the room that we had paid for.
The Assistant Manager was kind enough to offer us hospitality at the Executive area, and he made every attempt to rectify the situation.
Breakfast cues, and wait time also impacted on on our stay.
H.
The room was an upgrade and I was very happy with the space, the quiet and the luxury setting. I left something behind that was exceedingly important to me and your professionalism on the phone and ensuring I could come and collect the item with such efficiency was GREATLY appreciated. Will definitely be coming back.
A.
Like many - my work takes me away from home every week. After years of living out of a suitcase, one of the few choices I have which make it doable is 'where I stay'. When I'm in AKL I stay at The Pullman Hotel whenever possible because the team there are switched on to what they are doing and clearly seek to make their guests experience a positive one. We've had a few minor glitches - small things that go wrong through miscommunication; the team do their best to work with me to get things sorted which I appreciate. The team at the Executive Lounge are really lovely and provide a level of care which is appreciated...in a nice environment to relax before and after work.
P.
The Pullman is a grand old lady. Very. Classy with large comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and not only very helpful but also asking to do things you wouldn't think of. Pretty lobby and nice restaurant and bar. Be careful...you might think that's the Great Gatsby over there.
A.
Great hotel and friendly staff. Excellent assistance with organizing a meeting room for a conference. However upon check in I asked for an upgrade which was not offered even though I am a regular guest and was staying here for 2 weeks.
V.
The Location was ok, although not close to shops. The walk to Queen Street was good exercise !
The Restaurant Menu could do with some improvement. Beds were comfortable.
Overall, good place and good facilities although we had no time to use them.
J.
Liz from front of house made our trip thanks for the chocolate was a great touch! Hotel facilities perfect and breakfast is one of the best for sure. Oh and the room upgrade to a suit for under $40 perfect. See you next time.
B.
Stayed here 3 separate times during our December vacation. Service was great and the rooms were well appointed. Their suites in the back tower are fantastic with a nice kitchen and living room. Location is perfect, less than a 10 minute walk to Queen Street shopping and dining.
T.
My daughter and I came up for 24 hours to see Matilda. Easy walk to the theatre and back. The hotel was busy but the rooms were quiet. Enjoyed our early breakfast.
There could be better lighting in the rooms. Only side lights and a couple of lamps, quite dark.
P.
Was there for my wife's xmas work do. The food was great and the room was big enough to fit everyone in but the aircon needs to be upgraded. It was too hot in there with all the people that were in there. People were always having to leave the room because of it, to go out and cool down
K.
Good room and really great staff. Great spa facilities. Had an unexpected charge for parking not stated on the booking website and was also charged $200 on top of my rate as a hold, refunded at end of stay but unexpected.
B.
This hotel offered weary travelers comfort, a central location to the downtown, and cheerful staff willing to suggest dining outside the hotel. It missed five stars due to a limited dinner menu at expensive prices.
I.
Friendly and welcoming staff, nice room, good service and hood variety of breakfast options at the restaurant. A very pleasant experience.
Early morning staff not as friendly and short of the pleasantries you'd normally get at a 5-star hotel, even at 5am...
J.
I was successful with an upgrade to a room on Floor 11 with harbour views. Comfortable bed and room, and staff were efficient and friendly. We had a welcome drink at the bar, and ate a wonderful dinner at Tapestry restaurant.
S.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but it was really small. The bathroom/shower was cramped and just barely enough room to get set up a suitcase. We were on a three week vacation and had 3 suitcases and there simply was not enough room.
J.
Overall a truly enjoyable stay. Brilliant service, great food and spacious, comfortable room. The only thing I found lacking was the lighting in our room (there wasn't much).
Thanks for a wonderful stay.
G.
Our experience was satisfactory, staff were all very helpful and nice. I thought we had booked a King Exec. Suite is the residential wing as i was sure we were supposed to have a Balcony, however were allocated a King Exec. Suite in the older hotel wing overlooking Waterloo Quadrant. Room was reasonably spacious but quite noisy during the early hours.
A.
Only real down point was the waiting time to have breakfast on both mornings but the staff do their upmost to make you welcome and they tried to get you seated asap.
Also still struggling to understand the 50%off all drinks for silver accor members as was charged the full amount on checkout as got them from the bar and not the restaurant next to it ?
S.
We just had the pleasure of staying here over the last 2 nights. 29/30th December 2012.Wow, the staff were excellent, big mention about Rick from Holland. What a friendly guy! A really positive front person to meet as you enter the Hotel! The rooms were lovely, the bathroom stuff was such a delicious smell! Only downer was the shower pressure but that is pretty universal in big Hotels!
The breakfast was AMAZING. Pool...just right!
Would go again tomorrow if I could. Hope to visit again! 10/10.
D.
The rooms are spacious. With free nespresso and Wi-Fi. Upper floors have views over the city. Close to the cbd, the high court and the university. Ordering room service is dicey as there was no chef for overnight even though they advertise it.
B.
Lovely room I spent 14 days in isolation at the Pullman while ther I was awear that a woman and to children showed symptoms of carona virus and were relocated to another motel I only found this out while speaking to a cecurty gaurd I'm completely shocked that no other guest like myself were not told or even given the opportunity to be tested for the virus I was also concerned about the lack of the 2 meter social distanting in the smoking area was not enforce until the owner of the motel complained about ciggret but around the smoking area... I witneest the owner of the Pullman Motel walk her dog out in the smoking area and aloud it to urinate approxonatly a meter away form where I was having a cigarette at $200 a night it's not good enough but of a joke to be honest
B.
We enjoyed how the staff related to us and made us welcome.
The room was great, as were pool facilities bar and restaurant.
Unfortunately two out of three lifts were not working for 1/2 of our stay
T.
I visit Auckland regularly, and always book at the Pullman. Not only is this hotel ideally situated (surrounded in parklands and thus very quiet, but still very close to the CBD), it is also well equipped, with decent sized comfortable rooms. The highlight for me however, is the consistently friendly and helpful staff, who all make me feel very welcome. I will continue to book at the Pullman.
Thanks again for another pleasant stay.
Todd.
M.
Spent a one night stay over in a duplex three bedroom suit on the 17th floor. Very spacious, clean and fresh. Huge master bedroom with an excellent ensuite bathroom. Lovely views of Albert Park, Auckland CBD and Harbour.
R.
This is the second time I have stayed at The Pullman Hotel. It provides a comfortable and affordable experience slightly outside the Auckland CBD.
The only criticism I have is around the breakfast service. The current space you have is too small for the number of guests that frequent the hotel. People are all bumping into each other in the mornings and it doesn't create the best atmosphere to start the day.
N.
Always great service, some rooms are a little dated but most very good. A good central location, short walk to cdb and amenities and an easy drive to motorway. Restaurant has gone downhill in the last couple of years although it's prices have gone up
H.
Few complaining,
We just arrived of a long flight from India, we step out of our Uber, And very nice Kia ora greeting. The receptionist very unprofessional took forever and our card not ready even tho we priority member, TV no work
So we call and they fix, otherwise great pillows and staff, loved the pool
K.
Staff at the front door and reception very friendly there are improvements that need addressing in terms of staff training especially in the room service and dinning area. At the time of booking I was not a club member and wanted to try out the Pullman as opposed to the Hilton Honors clubs of which we are members.
K.
The hotel trys for old world elegance, but rooms are very tired, carpets dirty, a feel of dirty, but what visitors must know about New Zealand is that this is considered one of the best. There is no glitzy Intercontinal or Shangri la type hotels in all of New Zealand. A visit to New Zealand is not about hotels.
J.
Great service and excellent accommodation. The only negative I could find was the lighting in the room was not adequate for my needs. Other than that the room was beautiful, the service very welcoming and the food was great. Would stay again.
Z.
Lovely hotel in a nice central spot just outside the central business district of Auckland. It is less than 10 minutes to Queen Street, where all the shops are; walk an extra 5 minutes and you'll be at Event Cinemas, a massive megaplex. Even closer is Victoria Street, where there are lots of delicious Asian restaurants. It is only 10 minutes walk to Sky Tower if you feel like bungee jumping or dining at a revolving restaurant (currently closed for renovations). The hotel is very clean. Some of the rooms have spectacular views of the city and harbour, and it is across from the University of Auckland and beautiful Albert Park. Around 15 minutes' walk to the Art Gallery and 30 minutes' scenic walk to the Museum. The hotel staff ate very friendly and the breakfast buffet is delicious.
M.
Check in was very swift - a little overwhelming.
Did ask if there was an option to self park but was told it was $40 - no option of self-park given.
Room was fine - TV picture quality was poor.
Breakfast was great - large selection
We booked late check out but received a call from reception and a knock on the door at 11am asking whether we were checking out. It seems as though staff were unaware. Defeats the purpose of having a lie in..
Took quite some time for the car to be brought back to front of hotel.
L.
Great stay at the Pullman. So close to CBD we walked everywhere. We were able to get a park right outside the hotel instead of paying for the valet cost which was super lucky. One downfall was that I purchase a Superior King Sized room with a bathtub, but got a shower/tub. This was disappointing as no one would ever fit in the bath bit!! I paid extra for this so was a real bummer.
J.
My wife and I highly recommend the Pullman Auckland to anyone who is traveling to Auckland. From the moment I wrote my first email inquiring about room reservations and places to tour to the moment my wife and I arrived to the Pullman to the moment we left, we have been received with a welcoming, warm, and professional staff who pay close attention to detail. The Pullman is professionally operated and the rooms are extremely comfortable. A huge thank you for one of the best stays we have had anywhere to those who are too numerous to name individually. Thank you!
S.
I feel very lucky to stay here. Comfortable room, food is amazing and staff are very thoughtful. Thanks Piew!
W.
The stay was fine, however it was the first time I was informed that there was an executive lounge, even though i have stayed many occasions prior. I find it very poor service not to have known that it even existed. Thankfully for Liz and her approach, i would not have known any better.
J.
Hotel itself is lovely lots of additional features like onsite spa, indoor swimming pool, great friendly staff. The room I had could do with a bit of an update and it wasn't a large room
E.
Extremely disappointed with the rooms, they did not tie in with the modern luxurious decor in the foyer, instead I was greeted with a room of wooden furniture that looked like it had been picked up in a garage sale. For my first time in a 5 star hotel I expected my room to have the wow factor and to feel luxurious but I was extremely disappointed, I even asked for an upgrade which I was happy to pay for, I was given a free upgrade but the room was no different
J.
Lovely place to stay, very comfortable, staff were great and it was lovely to receive a card hand written in our room on arrival for our wedding anniversary along with an amazing plate of a heart shaped mousse
A.
Facilities were great, staffs was friendly, everything was delivered on point to ensure great customer experience. I enjoyed my stay throughout the few days there for a conference and getting assistant from the staff was always handy and prompt!
A.
I stayed for eight nights and thought that the experience overall was fantastic. I would like to thank the team at the bell desk particularly Oscar and Adam who could not have been more helpful with storing my stock and the car arrangements. Thank you guys! I will return again for future stays in Auckland.
J.
Stayed here after our wedding and enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine from the hotel which was a nice personal touch. Booked for a room with a soaking bath tub but the room didn't have this, so a room upgrade was arranged for us at a later time to make up for this.
P.
As always your staff are exceptional from the door to the room, a credit thank you. The rooms are a "little" dated in the bathroom, A/C and TV s are old ? but these are minor compared to the comfort and service given.
D.
Lovely hotel, overall good. Nice rooms, nice menu downstairs. They offer Day Rooms if you need.
A.
We were greeted with attentive staff, were made feel very special and everything was spotless, the bed was so comfy and breakfast delicious, so all in all a great stay for the beginning of our north island journey.
S.
Staff were very attentive n friendly. First time we stayed at pullman, the room I was given was run down, very old carpets n not upto expected standard, we were not impressed at all by the room, overall staff service was excellent.
D.
An amazing stay for our wedding night. Thanks to the assistant manager for leaving a wonderful cake in our room with a lovely card. Best breakfast ever had.
A.
One of the best sauna/steam rooms I've ever been in. Loved the spa and pool/gym was amazing to start my holiday nothing like this in Australia!
T.
Always professional and welcoming concierge when pulling up, hotel always looks nice and great customer service. Duty Manager James (I think is his name) demonstrated great customer recovery and handled situation professionally & efficiently to deliver on customer expectations
S.
Spent a night with my family. Very friendly staff and environment. Spa pool, swimming pool and the sauna is very clean. Breakfast and bars are well organised. Few minutes walk to the main city centre. Looking forward staying at Pullman again.
K.
Stayed here for the Pink concert. The staff were amazing and we even came back to the room to find a wee pink cupcake. Will definately stay here again.
Great central location and nice late check out
D.
Nice, clean hotel, but location at the top of Auckland's highest, steepest hill makes for a tough climb home, or a grumpy cab driver if you're coming from the CBD!
Off-site dining and drinking options within easy walking distance are almost non-existent, and the on-site offering is a bit limited.
M.
Absolutely awesome place to stay. We stayed 2 weeks here and was blown away with the staff and service the offer. Apartment rooms have everything you need and a awesome view
S.
Not impressed this stay, firstly tried putting us in a room different to what was booked.
Tv remote not working. ...... stale milk in fridge
On departure tried charging for breakfast which was including in booking
Took a $200 bond from my credit card account instead of using those funds on departure took further funds from my account and 3 days later still haven't had the $200 bond reunded.
K.
Lovely place to stay, the staff are all amazing and the overall environment of the hotel was great. The staff especially made the place very welcoming. Loved my time spent here. Thank you Pullmans!
M.
Rooms are quite nice and brunch is really nice. Not worth the price they chathe per night though and they charge $100 bond on entry + Why not just take credit card details? So weird..
D.
This was a top notch spot. We were treated extremely well and felt generally pampered. We had a generous sized room and kitchen I the residence section and did make simple breakfast here.
a.
Best food in quarantine out of any of the places I've stay
J.
Overall good, but having drinks in the bar area, we thought was cold. When we arrived were to make a tea and coffee, but when we went to the fridge, the door had been left open quite a bit and the chocolates were melted and the milk would have been unable to be used. It was also warm in the cabinet where the fridge was situated.
F.
My Daughter husband and two little kids stayed for 2 weeks management isolation they loved it and the food was excellent 👌 👏
J.
From pulling up outside and being greeted by two guys willing to assist with bags and parking, to the reception man greeting me by name and the chambermaid offering to draw the curtains and turn the beds down - the whole experience made us feel like royalty. A very personal experience.
L.
Stayed here quarantine and i feel so thankful for being able to spend it here. The staff, the room, and the food was amaze! Ill be back one day.
But to pay
M.
Hotel was very comfortable - major problem is wind whistling through poorly sealed window - this created a lot of noise out of proportion to the actual wind blowing outside. When holding my hand up to the window, I could feel a strong breeze coming through. This would need to be addressed before I would stay again.
T.
Everything was fabulous. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Service is impeccable. Hotel is comfortable and contains everything you could possibly want/need in your stay.
G.
From the moment we arrived, very late at night, we were treated with professional and courteous service. The doorman was cheerful, the reception staff always able to answer a question.
A.
The tone of the hotel was set by the friendly staff. Nice location, comfortable well appointed rooms and easy access to motorways north and south of the city. I'll definitely consider The Pullman on my next trip to Auckland.
A.
From the moment I spoke to reservations through to checkout we were impressed with the kind customer service and the level of attention that went into routine tasks. We loved the funky luxury and wide selection of food and drinks in the bar and restaurant.
E.
We stayed one night and it was lovely. The service/friendliness of all staff was outstanding and the room (executive suite) was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
j.
Nice looking hotel. Nice looking area - Albert Park is right across the street.
Gym and pool can be a little busy. It's shared by hotel, Pullman residential apartments and public who are gym members. Great facilities though. Sauna, steam room, spa and lap pool. Large outdoor area for exercise/yoga classes too.
Parking 🅿 $35 a night seems to be Auckland hotel norm.
If your planning on walking everywhere, just remember it's set up a hill climb from almost all directions.
We did have 500mb free Wi-Fi which def isn't a Auck hotel norm! Would def recommend.
L.
Just love staying at this hotel, friendly staff and great facilities. Great food and service. Deserving of five stars. We have stayed at the Sofitel on the Viaduct Harbour but way prefer this hotel as we are always treated with respect.
M.
Amazing conference venue, with good food and toilet facilities. Quantities in food could have been a little bigger, but happy with flavour. Staff were kind and helpful
A.
Was only using the conference centre but very clean and tidy and good food, and the dining and bar areas looked good. Haven’t stayed in the rooms though.
L.
Very nice comfortable hotel in a great location and lovely rooms. My salad ordered on room service was a bit of a rip off though (too small, very little variety in it).
G.
Great staff, made us very welcome.breakfast was fantastic, great facilitys. Rooms were a little dated and small but all and all fantastic place to stay.
S.
Out last stay in January is better. Had couple drinks at the bar. The bartender made a mess when served the drink. He said sorry and walked away. We had to find tissue to clean up ourselves.
C.
Great place, comfortable, you have all you need and people are very nice. Restaurante is good and breakfast is wonderful. The windows of the room are old so wind gets in. You hear the noise from outside and from next room.
L.
Very extensive breakfast and tasty. Quite an upmarket hotel. Staff very efficient and helpful. Would recommend it. Enjoyed staying here.
E.
Stayed here for a few nights on a trip back to New Zealand. The staff were friendly and helpful..the room was small however it had a great water view and was cosy..I dont know if I would say it's value for money..like most 4 and a half and 5 star Hotels you pay for the customer service and amenities pools spas restaurants ect not the room so if it's a romantic getaway away or single traveller its worth a stay.
T.
Superb in all aspects. Brilliant, efficient and attentive staff, nice outdoor area to enjoy a beer and cigarette, great food, comfortable room and very handy to the CBD. Close to the University, Albert Park and within walking distance of the Auckland Museum.Highly recommended.
C.
Our one night was fantastic. We just needed some time out and the added luxury of the spa facilities made choosing the Pullman a no brainer . I still miss the chocolate on the pillow though :(
N.
From start to finish the stay was awesome, my child especially loved the wee bear she was given on arrival. All staff went out of their way to do an amazing job, especially the restaurants breakfast staff.
A.
Absolutely amazing hotel. Always clean and tidy. Staff are amazing. Food is Devine. Treat yourself to a massage, spa or another beauty treatment. Makes auckland bearable 😉
R.
Great rooms during the Lions Tour in Auckland, lovely breakfast, great views, only disappointment was a 2% charge that was added to the bill for paying with a credit card and it wasn't mentioned by the receptionist and lack of bar staff on the evening of the match.
C.
Good location, 10mins from centre, beds allow a good rest, good selections in executive lounge Smelly carpets/foul smell in floors from elevators to rooms, city noise audible in rooms due to outdated windows.
T.
We were greeted by the concierge (in his 40's with glasses) and he greeted us with welcome back, that was special! The reception team were wonderful, the room lovely and the spa devine!
K.
Rooms nice, spaceous and clean. Staff is vers friendly and helpsome. Great breakfast buffet. Free internet included. Located just next to The University of Auckland.
S.
Fantastic service from the staff across all areas, in particular during check-in. Only downside was no lift access at the time to pool and gym (which we believe to be due to visiting Lions team, so understand the reason).
J.
I was beyond impressed with this hotel, the service was incredible, the staff were so lovely and helpful and really made our stay perfect. I will definitely be returning. Thank you all.
R.
The total service from checking in to looking after my car and bringing it back when I needed to go out was no problem.
Then my daughter came and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant so all in a very pleasant stay.
Thank you
Raymond Burgess
S.
Very comfortable bed and room, the check in and out process was made really easy and simple and the location was great easy walking distance to all the action. Staff very friendly as well, would stay here again
S.
Wonderful experience at the Top of the Town; we normally have the annual event at Hilton or Sofitel but the service at Pullman was next level. Many thanks to Anupam, Parth, Oto and the security guards and lovely valet parking staff whom names slipped my mind.
M.
I was amazed on checking in t find out that the touring Lions rugby team were staying - which added an extra dimension to the stay over the weekend of the final test as that was my reason for being in Auckland. The staff were very friently and helpful and all in all it was a great weekend.
e.
Excellent! Accor plus Silver members so got offered an upgrade to the residents towers for $30 per night , well worth it. Great big lap pool, great gym, steam room and sauna, everything you could ask for. As Accor plus members also get 50% off dinning so utilized the excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Won’t stay anywhere else from now on.

Perfect for a visit to Auckland!
Very friendly and professionel service, especially the concierge, the attendants at the reception desk and at the breakfast restaurant.
The rooms to the streets are possibly loud, if you want to sleep with open windows.

We arrived two hours early as my daughter and I were going to Matilda which started at 2pm. Gave us a room early, fantastic facilities, great staff. Highly recommended!
C.
A relative booked a room for 2 adults & a 4 yr old. Big super king beds. They enjoyed the organic juices & original presentation for the breakfast.
s.
The breakfast and the restaurant is pretty good with good ambience but the rooms atleast the shower area need to be upgraded . Looks like an old hotel.
S.
We stayed one night and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious, clean and modern and the bed was super comfortable.
We went to the restaurant for dinner which was lovely.
E.
The pool ans sauna facilities are superb. Thanks for vegan options on the menu too! Really enjoyed my short stay at Pullman.
A.
This is a good venue for staging large team meetings away from your usual workplace. Then afterwards you can relax with colleagues over a drink at the bar. #recommended
K.
Really nice hotel. Comfortable with nice rooms. Lots of wee comforts in room. Buffet breakfast was very good. Efficient friendly hotel team. Would stay again.

I do not remember posting a star.... I have no idea why. But I thought this hotel with full of hospitality. Thank you for your message. And I’m so sorry my miss posting. You and your hotel are excellent!!!
S.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in Auckland CBD. Friendly staff, and excellent service. Hotel has a gym, spa and jacuzzi. Valet parking is on time. Will recommend to anyone.
s.
Up a very steep hill less friendly for pram and wheel chair unless you will be driving all the time, less likely for tourists visiting Auckland, hard to find parking, and being so close to town. However, the hotel itself is well presented, valet parking available, reasonable price compare to Pullman elsewhere, probably because it's location.
F.
I had tried many hotels but this one is exceptional. It very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was one of best i ever had, the food is fresh and delicious.
A.
Fine hotel. Laid back but still attentive staff. Great food. Nice rooms. Baths. Great location. What more could you ask for?
J.
Great experience. Loved the hotel room — had a great view of the viaduct. Excellent service and amazing food — dinner and breakfast.
M.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Hotel. The staff were wonderfully helpful. The location was ideal and accommodation comfortable.
G.
I have stayed several times in a One Bedroom Residence in the Pullman Auckland. Rooms and amenities are great. Excellent location with short walks to plenty of restaurants and sights.
N.
Super friendly and professional staff including house keeping, porter and receptionist at the 5 star hotel! The best Pullman I've ever stayed.
A.
We have a wonderful dinner in restaurant The service is excellent and the food so delicious. My family is very enjoyed. All the staff so friendly. One of my favorite restaurant. Thanks a lot
P.
Great service, from door man to reception to room service, excellent facilities, gym, pool, spa, good location restored faith in hotel service after appallingly service we had in hawai and L.A from other hotel chains in the last year
P.
We have the Accorplus membership so always stay at Pullman, however this will be our last stay as when booking we asked to stay in the new part of the hotel but once again the old part was given to us. The shower over bath, toilet rim under the ridge was all rusty (well presuming it was that as did not inspect it as it looked disgusting), carpet filthy etc. So sorry will not be returning and not purchasing Accorplus again.
L.
The service is amazing. Our rooms were beautiful with gorgeous news. Definitely stay again.
R.
Very nice apartments.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
M.
While the checking in took slightly longer than expected, all else were up to standard. The room is very clean and warm and facilities are up to expectations. Staff are kind and professional too.
s.
Excellent service amazing ambience
S.

H.
Awesome place to stay, love the spa, extremely helpful staff, very comfortable rooms.
Highly recommended in its category.
C.
Wow. Best customer service I've ever experienced anywhere...from all staff..cleaners to doormen. Such genuine friendliness and willingness to help with anything. Seriously impressed. Thanks Pullman.
D.
I stay there once a year but I will recommend it to any as the service is very good & the breakfast menu caters to all denominations who visit Auckland.
B.
Was there for a two day conference.
Well looked after. Very good.
A.
Facilities were great, staffs was friendly, everything was delivered on point to ensure great customer experience. I enjoyed my stay throughout the few days there for a conference and getting assistant from the staff was always handy and prompt!
S.
Spent a night with my family. Very friendly staff and environment. Spa pool, swimming pool and the sauna is very clean. Breakfast and bars are well organised. Few minutes walk to the main city centre. Looking forward staying at Pullman again.
N.
Wonderful ambience. Fantastic service and absolutely fabulous food.
H.
Love staying here when we are in Auckland. Great staff, food is amazing, gym, pool, yoga all top notch!
M.
Rooms are quite nice and brunch is really nice. Not worth the price they chathe per night though and they charge $100 bond on entry + Why not just take credit card details? So weird..
B.
This hotel offered weary travelers comfort, a central location to the downtown, and cheerful staff willing to suggest dining outside the hotel. It missed five stars due to a limited dinner menu at expensive prices.
P.
While the staff and property are excellent, not really the "5 star" experience worthy of the price. Excellent live music in lobby.
K.
Absolutely amazing only went for a conference. Cant wait to be able to stay as a guest. The staff are wonderful.
N.
Great staff and excellent service! Fab view from our room. Comfy bed. Excellent facilities! Great location!
E.
I like Pullman Auckland's location! It is opposite Albert Park and is in the city centre. Hence, it is close to cafes, shops and restaurants. Pullman Auckland is also a family-friendly hotel. They have excellent customer service!
C.
Hotel rooms were clean and well serviced. Tapestry restaurant food was of high quality and great service all round.
H.
Very professional hotel. I went for a social event and Pullman hotel and staff were very helpful and accommodating towards us. 100% would recommend to anyone.
A.
From check in to check out it was just perfect - plenty of staff, breakfast was awesome and the room was just lovely. The concierge (Harry i think) was fantastic to deal with, nothing was a problem.
G.
The events team at the Pullman Auckland bend over backwards to ensure our seminars run smoothly. We present there at least twice a year. They have a variety of spaces and helpful staff, which is why we keep going back.
N.
Great location, good atmosphere, perfect mix between corporate functions and personalised stays. Just what you'd expect from a top-class CBD hotel
B.
The customer service was excellent, except the restaurant. The room was comfortable but showing its age with old cabinetry, air conditioning and carpets.
F.
Morden and well positioned. Had conference there i really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. Its Pull man for sure. Definitely stay next time
A.
One of my favourite hotels, its clean, comfortable and have always loved the toiletries provided
S.
Great venue. AV work for the workshop was flawless. Food was good too however the corridors struggle to handle such a large crowd (500 people)
s.
I did not enter Pullmans hotel however, I did wait at the building for a taxi. The door men were very polite and we engaged in great conversation.
R.
Help from as soon as I had booked the room (and realised that I had two single beds instead of one king!) it was no trouble to change the room, through to the front desk and the wonderful warm conversation with Liz Grimmett.
P.
Very nice hotel and great service. The breakfast was really good too. Wish we could have stayed longer
C.
Excellent space for attending professional conference. Parking in the area is not great so recommend using alternative transportation. Big spaces with flexible room arrangements.
O.
Room was good. Checkin was slow for a Gold member. Water pressure was ghastly in the shower...just a slow stream. Not suitable for this standard of hotel
M.
Rooms are pretty average but facilities are really nice. Sauna, pool and spa are a must visit while there.
W.
Service was outstanding - Roger at your front desk gets our vote for employee of the month. Room great - and breakfast choices - wonderful.
P.
Nice hotel. Facilities are great. If you book with a tier party you won't get fidelity point which is not normal...
S.
The staff here looked after me extremely well. They were kind, courteous and helped me every way they could. Thank you.
M.
$47 steak room service is literally just the steak and a tiny pot of jus. Room fine but not a lot of leg room in the bathroom.
A.
Great hotel. Awesome breakfast - impressive that the eggs/omelettes get delivered to your table. They even have dark chocolate at breakfast!!!
T.
Well appointed self contained apartments. Very clean and good quality beds and bedding. Nice discreet place
K.
Everything was great, service outstanding and best breakfast! I do feel the rooms (especially carpets) and bathrooms could do with a refurbishment.
R.
The restaurant and cafe is top notch. Ample parking around, easy bus routes. Highly recommended
J.
Comfortable bed. There was a problem with my aircondition unit. The maintained man was there under 10 minutes and got it working. Pullman was very busy so I was impressed with the service
P.
Excellent 5 star Hotel. Very comfortable rooms which are beautifully kept with fantastic views of Auckland City and Albert Park. Highly recommended.
D.

Breakfast was not to the standard expected.
S.
All staff were very friendly and obliging. The beds were very comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was an enjoyable experience with attentive staff.
f.
Great service, great room, but be sure you bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, because you can hear tiny bit of the traffic on the road ( depending how sensitive you are, I am quite sensitive to noise as I have slept with earplugs for ten years now)My gf had a good sleep though.I'm a light sleeper and usually sleep with ear plugs so might be that
S.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice rooms, Great location and friendly staff
M.
Enjoyed my stay here the room was generously large for the price and breakfast had great variety. Highly recommended.
D.
Loved the hotel and location. Great breakfast and glad our rate included it. Staff all very helpful and friendly.
K.
Everything was so easy from booking / to checking in / to checking out... Great location... well equipped room.. worked perfectly for our weekend away
J.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Used the gym which has quite a few machines, bikes, treadmills, weights and a pool.
J.
Hotel was perfectly situated, clean, great facilities, i.e. spa and gym. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
K.
I always love staying here as the staff are fantastic and so helpful. It is always a really lovely experience and the amenities at the hotel are fabulous.
T.
Location was good easy walk to city center... the room is clean and nice but a bit small. Service was great.
A.
Very awesome stay at the Pullman during my quarantine. Everybody was friendly and helpful
L.
Stayed 1 night as was visiting Auck for a show. We felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Special attention was paid to our situation.
S.
Well worth it, has a really nice spa and sauna area and gym. Staff were great and rooms were nice with a great TV
P.
While the staff and property are excellent, not really the "5 star" experience worthy of the price. Excellent live music in lobby.
