D.Stayed there for Valentines Day weekend and the service, vibe, and rooms were fantastic. Starting from the front desk, the employee escorted us to the parking to ensure we were okay. Then he carried our luggage despite not being a porter. The check in was smooth, the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Had the best sleep I had in weeks. Great selection of breakfast items on the main floor. Rooftop patio was good. Not the greatest vegetarian food selection and the cocktails were a bit on the pricier side but you pay for the view and the vibe which makes it worth it.
K.Beautiful hotel - both the communal spaces and rooms. Cocktails and food at the rooftop is a must do - they'll recommend a cocktail for you and sometimes make off menu too. The staff were all AMAZING - everyone from the bar and restaurant staff, reception team, and housekeeping. Nice touch with cake pops for a special birthday. We'll be back - QT has taken the top spot of Auckland hotels for us.
S.Stayed here for the first time with a group of friends and was absolutely blown away. First off the staff & customer service was amazing they were so nice, friendly and accomodating. Rooms were stunning! Beds were super comfy, could not find any fault from my stay. Rooftop bar was a must. We spontaneously decided to check it out at midnight on Saturday. Best decision ever! Customer service was once again outstanding and the whole experience was great. We all really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Thanks QT team!
M.Pretty nice and modern, rooms have an industrial feel to it, a lot of concrete and steel make up the bones of the place. Restaurant is on point no cap! And the rooftop bar is pretty swish too..
D.Rooms were tidy and super comfortable bed. Industrial style rooms, but almost comes off as too minimalist and easy, steel cupboards, alloy sliding doors etc. Not the finishes to the room you'd expect for the price.
Ask for a room away from the main entrance side of the building. The roof top bar is great but as patrons leave in the wee hours they pile out of the main entrance and the noise can be heard from rooms on that side of the building. Very little sound proofing.
We were told there would be parking available but it was full when we got there, you cant reserve parking so had to park in a parking building across the road for the night which was more expensive than the hotel. The hotel had no indication of cost either, which you would think they would brush up on given the need to send customers to other parking when theirs is full.
Great location, easy walking access to Viaduct, Britomart, Wynyard Quarter etc.
S.This was our first visit to this hotel, which is situated near Sofitel and Park Hyatt. We loved the decor, the breakfasts at Esther restaurant, and in particular the rooftop bar. We have never seen Espresso Martini on tap before. It's obviously that popular. Great views and happy staff

Also, I want to a big thank Sanika and Ames made me gorgeous swan in my bed. You guys made my day so special. Touch my heart. And thank u housekeeper team done amazing job. You guys is rock. You guys made me so much good memories. And thank u restaurant done amazing job and food so delicious. 10 /10. I would love recommend all my friends and family to stayed QT Hotel.

N.It was my first time here, great restaurant, decor and especially loved the rooftop area. Suzanne, Declan, Stefan and the rest of staff were super friendly and welcoming which made our experience even better, will definitely be coming back!
A.The unique interior and new facilities are nice, but the room size and soundproofing are disappointing for the price. It may be attractive to young couples, but I do not recommend staying with families.

L.Beautiful modern hotel with an industrial feel. Well appointed rooms with all the amenities you could ask for. Unfortunately sound proofing between rooms could be better and drinks from the rooftop bar we never visited were charged to our room
K.Nice location and hotel, with great staff who were very accommodating. The bubbles and choccies in our room when we got to it (it was after 4pm when we were given our keys) for our anniversary were a nice touch. Thank you! We had an issue with charges to our room that weren't ours, but these were sorted with a smile. Had a great time, even with the clown in the room next door giving us grief.
N.Brilliant views and excellent food. Despite it being the middle of winter and quite chilly out the rooftop was amazingly comfortable: no jacket required (haha) during the afternoon, although it did get cold again as night fell, but the outdoor heaters kept it comfortable.

S.Recommend the roof top bar but get there early! Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. The Room….well, very disappointing. For the price we paid ($510 a night) I was expecting a bigger room. It was small with a view of the multi storey car park opposite. The bathroom was spacious though! Would I stay again? No but I’d visit the bar & restaurant.
Y.3.5 for this visit. This is our second stay at QT Auckland, it is a nice new hotel with friendly staff and the rooftop bar is lovely. I would recommend allowing extra time for checking in and checking out, we've found this takes time on both visits. We arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready until 3:45. We were given drink vouchers which was nice but didn't really work because we have a child and just wanted to get settled rather than have to wait around. I downloaded the QT app which has features like a mobile key and check-in but these are not enabled by hotel due to security concerns which makes sense. Maybe time to update the app.
A.A unique and memorable hotel, staying at the QT Hotel is a full sensory experience. It is as though you are staying in an art museum, one that is warm and welcoming. You really need to take your time to admire every nook and corner at the QT Hotel - no detail has been overlooked.
Our room was super comfortable and finished with all of the top quality fittings and latest technology. We loved being able to connect our Spotify to the Bose speaker and our Netflix to the TV. I also loved the Dyson hair dryer! We were able to check out the full hotel compendium via app and pre- book our meals. A nice touch too was being able to enter our room using the app.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. We were greeted at the door as soon as we pulled up and, from there, everything about our stay was made easy and every element of service was delivered with a smile.
The rooftop bar is definitely worth a visit, though head there early for a prime spot.
We loved Esther restaurant for our breakfast in the morning - gorgeous detailing in the fit out and delicious food.
Our stay was a wonderful experience from start to finish and we’ll be back to explore more art pieces that we are sure to have overlooked.

P.Amazing staycation for our wedding anniversary. Lovely little extra touches of champagne and balloons awaiting us in the room. Super cool interior style as well as being very quiet and comfortable. Loved the rooftop bar! Great location and great staff. Would totally recommend this hotel to stay.
N.I had no expectations going in, as my stay was a surprise, but everything was absolutely incredible. I would agree that it is definitely better suited for a younger crowd, with the music in the elevators and party scene on the rooftop bar on the weekends, but the executive suite balconies have amazing views that let you enjoy some private sunshine and take in the harbor. The bed was so comfortable I never wanted to leave, and the water softener in the shower made my hair and skin very happy!
The staff went above and beyond though. I was here as a surprise from my partner, and the receptionist, Adriana, was an absolute star. She was so sweet and lovely and took her time to make my birthday feel special, despite a queue to check in. She also helped organize a surprise cake delivery for me, and the whole restaurant staff took part in finding a lighter for me. All the staff, including the rooftop bar staff (especially a blonde bartender on Sunday evening - didn’t catch her name) was super accommodating and very friendly.
Adriana later came up to our room to sort out of a tv issue for us, and once again was just the loveliest. 5 star customer service.

E.Super friendly and accommodating staff. Super funky and cool hotel with great decor in the rooms and in the common areas. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a corner room with a view which was spacious. Bed was super comfy and the amenities in the room were fabulous. Great location being in the viaduct. Rooftop bar is great. We had breakfast in the restaurant, food was delicious and service really good too.
T.Newly opened it is very modern, stylish and some stunning choices in interior detailing. This certainly is a unique hotel experience right down to the uniforms the staff are wearing. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and the restaurant served lovely food. The room was comfortable, with top marks on the extra thought that went into the extras - loved the Dyson Hairdryer kit and the coffee maker! Overall, this is an edgy and stylish hotel right around the corner from all of the action. We will definitely be recommending and be back.

TIp try the Garage Project Japanese lager. Delicious.
R.If you are under 40 and out for a night on the town or a partying holiday it would be awesome with retro rooms and a bar with music to suit. If you are over 40 and on business I wouldn't recommend it as there is no desk to work at, just a very low table with funky but equally low chairs, the beds very soft and the jug only does single cups. So for under 40s out to party it's a 5 otherwise a 2. Regardless the staff were all very helpful and friendly and couldn't be faulted.
C.I stay in Auckland quite often and in hotels/motels and QT would have to be my new favourite.
A little more expensive but staff were super helpful and friendly.
The room was very clean and well appointed.
Will definitely look to stay there more often albeit when the price is right (on special 😂)
P.We were here for a conference. We also stayed in house. The service is excellent, always smiling, professional and friendly. The facilities were very good. Thank you for looking after us. We will be back.
K.Staycation for my best friends birthday we booked two connecting rooms at a steep price point. The decor is gorgeous, the check in was fantastic & loved the service of the person who checked us in. Unfortunately that’s where it stopped. We had a night out & we were heading to bed at 2am when the room above us decided to use the Bose speakers in their room to play music really loudly. Thought it would stop in 1/2 hour. Called reception, they couldn’t find the room. Music continued until 5.30am and they finally found the room & asked them to stop.
Next day fake apology from the staff with no empathy , my partner had to skip brekkie as he was exhausted.
Come on could have done better soundproofing for the price of the room per night. Would not be back
A.Fantastic experience all-round! Our room was beautiful - the interior design and furnishings are so well thought out. No detail has been missed and you could really feel the character of what the QT is about from the moment you walked in. We were SO impressed to see the mini bar (no mini-bottles here; they give you actual spirits) and snacks range were highlighting NZ made boutique businesses! The service was great too - everyone was very welcoming and helpful.
The location was great so we spent the first night eating out at one of the many delectable restaurants in the Viaduct, but the second night we spent at the Hotel restaurant - Esther... AMAZING! This is a destination restaurant of its own right, not just a hotel-restaurant. DO NOT MISS THIS while you're there! Tip would be to enjoy a could of drinks at their rooftop bar first :)

The Place has a lovely ambiance, the staff is very friendly and attentive, everywhere it is super clean and we loved the bathroom layout as well as the room lighting the coffee is spot on and the menu and the beverage list is extensive. We definitely will stay there again in the future

Restaurant is exceptional, the deconstructed bouillabaisse was a brave attempt that was a bit of a fail, everything else was scrumptious especially the steak tartare..
Rooms are fine, could do with couple of extra movie channels.

R.Kinda perfect for what we need. The room was nice and quiet, and extremely comfortable. Rooftop bar is a good spot to chill and cast your eyes over the city. Staff suuuuuper friendly.
K.Grand Hotel nicely designed and finished in a great location. The service was very friendly but a little off, phoning the hotel via their number constantly gives you a response that you couldn't be connected, and using the in-room phone wouldn't work either. The app for QT also wouldn't pick up my booking (potentially as it was through booking.com). The room wasn't ready until 1hr after anticipated check in time (3pm vs 4pm) and we had a dinner at 5pm to get ready for.
Y.Friendly staff from reception to housekeeping! The room was very comfortable and cosy on the corner of the 5th floor that offered to us a beautiful view of the Sky tower on one side and the harbor on the other side.
I was really impressed with the mini bar that offers a really nice variety of alcohol plus a really good quality of NZ products like Devonport chocolates or soups for example as an amazing touch to be different for other hotels in Auckland city.
The breakfast were one beautiful cook ( scrambled eggs with truffle on toast) but the other one was really really dry ( bacon, eggs and sausage).
After that it's a beautiful hotel that I will back again 100%.

A.Very cool hotel! The reception staff were excellent and the beds super comfy. They do my favourite T2 tea which was a nice surprise and the decor is modern industrial. Each room has a dyson hair dryer, what more can you want!
J.As an accor club gold member, it's pretty hard to convince me to try something outside of my range of hotels. But I have to say the location, the staff professionalism, the decor are BEYOND five stars. I would argue this hotel is one of the top rated hotels in NZ at the moment. I now refuse to stay anywhere else and I cannot wait to stay again.

It was a shame because the moon was so beautiful tonight as it was rising over the city lights.
I think service should always be on point at any given time of the day and patrons should never feel like the staff just want to "go home". If there's one thing I can't stand is service packing up while people are still eating and drinking (and it's nowhere near closing time)
I think if you're reading this you should still go (obviously this is one person's opinion and it may have been a bad night for those servicing our table)
I feel like this place could easily pull off a 10/10 service score - tonight maybe was bad timing....I think! It definately has 10/10 views
D.Super friendly staff, epic breakfast with great variety, spacious rooms with very modern and edgy fit out, very comfy bed. If you appreciate design and architecture, this place is a must do! The attention to detail, material choices and overall quality of the interior design is simply outstanding! Highly recommended!
M.The service, vibe and aesthetic here is really unique and fun. We have stayed twice now and most recently with our pup in one of the pup suites. Such a fantastic feature of the hotel!
C.Booked in a stay for my wife’s birthday. Got to our room to find dirty clothings still in the room. And then asked to get a room change and had to wait until the duty manager checked in everyone in line. *sigh*. However, they did give us an upgrade after and provided us free breakfast and a late check out as an apology. I want this place to do well. So please don’t let it happen again
G.One of the new hotels in Auckland. Great location. 10 mins to Sky Tower or Britomart or Queen Street. Right at Viaduct Ave, perfect for morning jog along the pier/harbour. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

E.Faultless from arrival to departure! The staff seem genuinely friendly and enthusiastic. Our room was upgraded, Yay! It was spacious with tasteful decor with a sophisticated quirkiness. We ate at Esther...everything was devine and generous is serving size. The rooftop bar was a pefect way to finish the evening and had no need to go anywhere else for our city escape. Thank you QT team it was amazing and we will be returning :)

D.I would come back just for the bed and pillows alone, soo comfortable. Service was excellent. Our room was a bit noisey only because we were right by lifts and on 5th floor so everytime someone dragged a chair, u heard it. Loved Dyson hairdryer. Not much space to put anything on bathroom. Would have just done single sink, could only fit 1 toilet bag , need to put 2 towels per person, if u shower that night u have to shower next morning with wet towels. It's so dark in there. Couldnt see what was in my suitcase. If ur gonna put something to sit on make them comfortable. Very modern contemporary look. Nice and clean. Just for the price for suites got a balcony, but like I said would come back just for the beds, would just go for cheaper room.
D.The stay overall was great and didn't encounter a single problem. Most of the staff here were great! Some of the staff were very genuine and authentic which I appreciated.
D.A great fancy clean hotel that contains it's own restaurant. Beds are comfy, rooms have fancy light switches that allow you to turn off every light with a single button or turn a reading light on while you're in bed.
S.2nd time staying here. Still great. Excellent service, rooms and food. The gym is still waiting on equipment so is a bit underdone at present. Will be back next time am in Auckland

Esthers menu by Sean Connery, described as a cuilinary journey around the med was outstanding.... started with the puff bread and tuna terrine, then a cheese and peaches dish,
bbq octopus with roast potatoes. The wine selection is excellent and matches the food to perfection. Madam had a blush rose from Provence which was just the thing..
Roof top bar not to be missed for a predinner or sundowner... reminded us of Tommy Bahamas in Waikiki, same cool vibe!!

that match her dress!!!

We stayed in room 226. Room was very clean. Only small down fall was the sound proofing, we could hear babies and adult fun time 😆 from the nabouring rooms also the roof top bar.
Roof top bar was small but fun and very busy. Esther resturant was nice. The linen uniforms the staff wore were a little weird, some of them looked like they were from the handmaid's tails 😄
But fun place to stay.
