L.All ways a good stay with a warm open fire and pool table handy. The rooms are clean and basic but good value when all you want is a hot shower and soft bed . The food was just right after a hard ride threw the old ghost road hot and hearty with a cold bear to follow.

C.We rode the old ghost trail and stayed the night in the accommodation of Seddon Hotel. Great locals with fantastic atmosphere. We had a meal and drinks a fantastic place to stay in relax bedroom and facilities very tidy and really good linen call beds well worth the stay over after the track good value for money can Graham is a good host.
l.we went looking for ice and found a real gem. Best bacon and egg burger in years, and a good selection on offer. super friendly owner and staff. stop by if you close by, worth it. x

K.I really liked this hotel. Graham, the owner manager, barman, store keeper & cook was very friendly & welcoming, chatty in a straight talking sort of way. The room was very neat, clean & comfortable, & the price very reasonable. There isn't any mobile phone signal but internet is available. A shuttle pick up to Lyell for cyclists who've ridden the Old Ghost Rd is available ($60-$80pp) from here, Graham will help you with contact info and he's happy let you use his phone.
W.Great place to stop after riding the Old Ghost Road. Good cold beer and friendly owners with a relaxed attitude. The units have hotplate fridge and microwave for those cooking themselves or enjoy the pub grub.
J.We stayed one night during our Westcoast roadtrip in May. Rooms are tidy and comfi and the host Terry cooked us tea at night, although the bar was quiet . Beer is cold and we had some good conversations with Terry as well as tips for "things to see". My partners favourite stay during the vacation

Up date 22/4/21 third time here still great hotel. Places like this need more support ,DoC get Charming creek open and LINZ get off your arse & get the old rail line @Chasim creek repaired &help this community
A.Situated in the best location for accomodation, a hot meal and a cold beer after a long day in the saddle riding the old ghost road. Rooms are well serviced and well priced. The food is a little expensive.
E.The rooms are a bit basic but are clean and comfortable. The owner is friendly and helped me find a ride down to Westport the morning after my stay.
The burgers are tasty!
