Friendly and helpful staff, we stayed in a lovely room over looking the harbour bridge which showed off its beautiful lights. We had a joining suit for our kids. Rooms are cosy. The breakfast was delightfully tasty (French Toast). Will definitely come back. Kudos all round! Thank you Sudima

Great modern hotel with excellent immenities and exceptional staff. Worth also noting that during our stay the Sky City convention centre building opposite had a small fire and staff provided firefighters with coffee and water. That sealed the deal making Sudima my go-to location when staying in Auckland CBD.

A lovely stay at Sudima. We were here for 3 nights. The staff are so attentive, helpful and hospitable. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds, and great amenities. We were provided complimentary buffet breakfast and $50 vouchers x 2 for the bar or room service. Definitely will stay at Sudima hotels in the future!

Staff more than helpful place lovely and new, clean and tidy. The meals were different as were Vegan I think. I was a bit apprehensive at first to try them. I did and they were amazing. Would defiantly go back again.

Really enjoyed the food on offer here. I am not vegetarian but all the dishes were excellent and inventive. The mushrooms in particular were outstanding. Service very good. Plus a wide range of pale ales to go with the Japanese lager on tap. Definitely going back.

The staff are all amazing very welcoming from the moment you pull up. We stayed in a U room with a harbour view we found the room very quiet and well set up plus the view was amazing. The bathroom was very spacious with nice Smith&co toiletries. We found the colour scheme throughout the hotel had a very calming feel. We will definitely be back! Thanks team 😊

I have stayed here with my husband and we were more than overwhelmed with how welcoming and professional staff were. Hotel interior is beautiful and colours are my style so I felt a lot like at home. We were given a $50 voucher for food or drinks to use in hotel restaurant. This time we only had cocktails and they were amazing.We had to leave earlier than we planned but hotel was happy to bill us only for those days we were there which we really appreciate. Cons: The room had one light that did not work and the pipe under the sink was leaking but after addressing this to staff member they fixed it in no time. However it happened again and resulted in some of my clothes being soaked in water, but honestly it is not a big deal. When we just arrived the door lock did not work but again they fixed it in shortly. Another thing is breakfast. It is beautifully cooked but it is a bit on a smaller side and the quality of bread was a bit disappointing. It had cheap feel to it. Since we went to level 3 while we were there I was surprised that only one staff member wore mask that morning. After addressing all the cons I would still happily recommend this place to my friends because of the loveliest staff and cleanliness of the rooms and location. They are a new hotel and still have room for improvement which I am sure they will make.

I was one of the first ever guests in this hotel. I can honestly say, everyone here is so kind, accommodating and genuinely want you, the guest, to have the best time. I really enjoyed my time here. The rooms are beautiful. The bar and food are great. Very wheelchair accessible. I would definitely stay here again. Just don't bother using their laundry service. It's too expensive.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at the Sudima Auckland city. Overwhelmed with the support from the staff as our little girl was unwell during our stay they went over and above to support us. Loved the dual shower heads and open door showers comfortable beds and great view of the harbour Bridge. Being a vegetarian hotel the menu and quality of food is impressive (the dumplings are a must have) thankyou again for a great stay we will be back. Right in the heart of the city with just a short walk to sky tower and queen street viaduct etc. Keep up the good work team.

We stayed here with a group in May and found it nothing but fabulous. Great service, style and location, plus amazing food! They offer a plant focused menu and was beautiful! Would definitely stay again.

Fantasic hotel and restaurant with friendly and relaxed staff. Try East Eats, amazing Thai curries and a great wine selection.

Beautiful hotel, very edgy and modern room design, located on a busy st of CBD but could not hear a thing from any loud traffic outside so thats superb. Love the restaurant colour palette suits the name of the restaurant East, very nice touch. Amazing food, kudos to chef and his team. Especially the bang bang Shitake Mushroom, Wow. Just mind blown with how tasty they were, all my friends were raving about the food and will definitely be back to try out more of their delicious food. Not sure how but they definitely made vegetarian food very appealing and tasty.

Just had an absolutely amazing stay at the Sudima Auckland City. The whole hotel is brand new and sparkling clean. We chose a corner suite. It was thoughtfully appointed with cool touches like a yoga kit and chrome cast TV and the in room Bathtub is big enough for two people(one of them 6’4 ) to comfortably soak at once. The staff were so accomodating amd thoughtful, they genuinely make you feel special. Thanks to Amar and the other fabulous staff for making a magic trip, I will def be back!

Best breakfast, would not know it was vegetarian, so delicious. Staff are friendly only thing, the curtains don't overlap so I had the light of building across the road shine through all night.

The Sudima team are nothing but amazing! I travel around the country for work often and will always choose Sudima first as the team are always helpful, always willing to go the extra mile and the rooms are great 👍🏻 the newest Auckland city hotel is an absolute treat and the restaurant “East” is sooooo good. Nothing beats a late night feast when it’s a restaurant made curry!!!

Review for East Restaurant in Sudima Auckland. Visited East for lunch with the family and it was really nice to eat plant-based food in an upmarket feeling sit-down restaurant. There was a great variety of small and large plates. There were some very interesting takes on meals that are traditionally meat based (e.g. dan dan noodles), and some interesting ingredients used. Service was amazing, our waiter made some good suggestions about what to order, and he was very attentive. The portions were good and the meal was well priced. My only complaint was that the plates were a bit hard to eat out of, especially with the curries. We would have liked some small bowls with the plates. I would definitely eat here again. I suggest going with a group of people so you can share the food and try different menu items. The 'ginger caramelised bang bang shiitake mushrooms' and 'Southern Thai yellow curry' were highlights.

Beautiful hotel with amazing customer focused staff. From checkin, restaurant and checkout all staff were very attentive. Especially the lovely ladies at the restaurant. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had a great weekend getaway prior the lockdown commencing. Food was amazing, great rest and relaxation. Thank you for having us. Minor criticism that hinders the 5 star: We placed an order the breakfast the night before and was confirmed on the same call. We were awoken by another follow up call at 6:30am in the morning to reconfirm the order for 8'oclock.

Pros: Brand new hotel which is a great and bright sparkly addition to the Nelson Street landscape. Rooms have Alexa which is quite unique. Cons: Charged me extra (credit card surcharge) without informing me of the charge Bartender (Jirayu Puwananuwat) tried to sell me another $50 drink despite obviously seeing myself visibly being drunk from having a $50 quick all by myself

This was the first time trying a vegetarian restaurant - highly recommended! The food was amazing, Service was great and the place is stunning. There’s so many good options and the dessert was great too. I had Miang Kham which was very refreshing. The Ginger caramelised bang bang shitake mushrooms was sooooo good, my favorite. I’ll be back again.

I have cancer so i came to enjoy the night in the city as if its my last day .I googled and found out about Sudima hotel in Auckland city. I booked a room for new years eve. i enjoyed my stay. The customer service was outstanding..

Stylish and absolutely lovely room, plus amazing vegan food (although I am a meat lover but I really enjoyed their vegan food ) ! Friendly staff ! I would definitely come back:)

I love this hotel is amazing most staff are great especially the Asian female waiters knows how to treat her customers with respect and the Asian man with glasses doing the coffee and hot chocolate he’s also great any-who a elevator took me to the wrong floor the first time I went up it took me to the basement even though my room was level 5 😹 the breakfast selection is unquestionably better then the Wanaka Ramada on the other hand the wifi is ok but I hade to rejoin every 11 hours or something like that fortunately we had no bad experience with our room on floor 5 there was also a cleaner witch cleaned our room without a doubt great 😊 last thing it’s great you can walk to the city in no time.

Top notch. The staff here excelled at every level. As clean and tidy as you would expect from a hotel that is practically brand new. Very quiet the weekend we were here.
