s.Incredible staff, excellent communication, convenient location. Right beside the park and ride Albany, takeaways,restaurants supermarket,westfield and everything else. Very clean and tidy rooms and well stocked up. We stayed here for 2 months as we were stuck in Auckland. Would like to thank the whole team and the management for taking good care of us. Everything was available whenever we requested. Thank you for making our stay smooth and worth while. Definitely recommending to friends and family and staying here again when we come back to NZ for vacation. Keep up the good work as a team as this is what customers need for their stay. Thank you again. ❤

Only issue we had was. When we were waiting for other to come down from elevator. The desk lady and a cleaner were having an argument very loudly infront of us that we didn't really appreciate.

P.Great price and quality. This is our first time staying at a Ramada and we are highly impressed. All staff we have spoken to from reservations to checkin have been friendly and professional. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. Ramada is definitely one of the better hotel groups we have stayed with in a while and would have no hesitation in Recommending them or booking with them again.
E.Great spot, clean and close to supermarket, and a few restaurants. Reception only Open til 6pm which isn’t ideal for anyone checking in late. Staff were really friendly and helpful

A.Really clean and tidy. Perfect customer service. We stopped by early and they were more than happy to give us the room key, 3hrs before the room was ready. Great place for a stay over. Comfy bed. Tad noisy being in a room facing the motorway - but I suppose that's to be expected being in the city.
V.Great value for money. The rooms are clean, modern and have every possible amenity. Washing and tumbling machines. Microwave, dishwasher, every imaginable utensil. Can not fault the whole package. Coffee shop adjoining for breakfast if you wish. Westfield shopping centre 10 minutes away. Fast food outlets and restaurants merely feet from the property. If you are in the area and you want accommodation then I highly recommend.
N.Stayed in studio suite room with kitchen and laundry facilities. Clean, spacious, rather new and has adequate room amenities. My only dislike is the air-conditioning which can make the room's air dry, and you cannot open any windows to get fresh air... it's entirely enclosed. Has bakery, mini supermarket, restaurants and a petrol station just around the corner, so it's a convenient place for short term stays. Adequate parking space for hotel guests. Albany's main shopping areas is just a short drive away, though watch out for the road signs... One wrong turn and you might need to drive a bit further to find your way back, due to the long circular road system. There are nice small parks and trails, just a short drive away if you're interested in nature, brooks and fresh air. It's located next to the exit to the motorway, so getting to Auckland or further north is easy with a rental car.
M.One of the best "price - quality" ratios I have ever experienced. Located in a quite place, far from the crowded streets, it is situated near to bus stops and large shopping centres. The rooms are clear and spacious, with kitchen facilities inside. Many restaurants and cantinas in three minutes walk from the hotel. Highly recommended.
V.Rooms are very compact, more so than than the website photos indicate. If you have a lot of luggage, you'll probably want to stow in the wardrobe or it will be in the way, especially if there's more than one person in the room.
Surprising amenities for a hotel - such as a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and full size fridge/freezer. These amenities make the accommodation an attractive option for guests staying more than 2-3 days.
There are minor cosmetic decisions made around decor and chattel fit-out, that make no difference at all to the quality of your stay, but give the impression of a low 4-star, as opposed to a high 4-star facility. Examples of this are: painted walls rather than wallpapered, partially tiled bathroom instead of fully tiled, fiberglass shower unit and plastic shower-head - that sort of thing. I think when other reviewers have described the rooms as 'basic', this is probably what they are referring to.
The location is great. Walking distance to many eateries, from fast-food restaurants to fine dining. Two supermarkets and a large shopping mall within walking distance. The Sky Bus picks up and terminates to/from the Westfield Albany Mall, which is not an arduous walk to/from the hotel with luggage if your suitcase has wheels, or is otherwise comfortable to walk for 5-7 minutes with.
The hotel is in a great location, especially if you want to stay somewhere outside of, but accessible to (via public transport) the CBD, and represents good value for money. Would stay again.
J.Awesome place to stay. It was like a home away from home. Staff were fantastic, the room was awesome and i loved having the in room laundry facilities. I wouldn't look elsewhere if i stayed in this area again. It was hard to find any faults (there were some absolutely minor ones but it would be too critical to list any of those)

K.Quality hotel, kitted out with everything you need! Washing machine, dryer, dish washer, small kitchenette, TV, free wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful, has been a delight staying here! The location of the Ramada is also very convinent, close to the bus station and all the general necessities within 3 minutes car drive or 15 minutes walking. 9/10 would use again.

C.Clean. Modern. The bed was comfortable. Easy walking distance to the stadium if you watching a game. No issues trying to navigate traffic getting home if you stay here. Definitely recommend staying here
J.The front desk staff was fantastic. Liani in particular was exceptional. She assisted us on numerous occasions throughout our stay and even assisted with making sure we were able to get the best rate that was appropriate for our stay and our group. Her customer service skills were second to none. I believe she was from South America (possibly Chili). Wherever she's from, the quality of her training and upbringing really showed through. If we are ever in the Auckland/Albany area of the world we would highly consider as well as reccomend the Ramada by Wyndham. Thanks again Liani, you did a great job.

A.If you are on a business trip and need a place for a couple of nights it is fine, clean, has laundry facilities in room, but the surroundings are mainly retail and car parks. If you are on holiday or staying longer head to the coast...
W.Ramada Suites Albany is a relatively new place. Booked a 1 br suite for $170. This is excellent value.
Room amenities and set include kitchen with fridge, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. The bathroom also has a washing machine dryer.
There is a restaurant next door as well as a coffee house/cafe which does breakfast.
Only tricky bit was finding the main entrance which is in the car park at the back. Couldn't see any major signage. Our taxi driver had to do a couple of circuits before reapising where the entrance was.
But this would suit any one transitioning workwise or needing short term accommodation. It is 200 metres from the main route Albany Bus Station with buses to the CBD every 10 mins. Westfiled shopping mall a 1km 15 min walk.
