M.My family of five couldn't have found a better place to stay than the the Havelock Garden Motel, the amazing garden setting made for a tranquil and relaxed night's stay, we will definitely be back here. The location of the motel was perfect, right in the middle of town but set back off the road ensured a quiet and peaceful stay, the nine new ducklings was an added bonus for the kids, and the recommended 'Waterfall Walk' was just what we needed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts xx.
J.We stayed at the motels on two occasions and each time was excellent. The motels are set in a beautiful park like setting, close to restaurants, cafes and supermarket. They are well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.
On our return visit the owners were very helpful copying, printing and emailing a long legal document and they refused to accept any extra money for this service.
K.Peaceful, green surrounds. Immaculate, fresh-smelling rooms, great beds and lovely little touches like soap. Washing line was useful! Friendly and very helpful owners.

T.Great motel with perfect disablity room. Well set up bathroom, easy to use kitchen, big king size bed and plenty room. Really good value and the your hosts and really good people. We will return!!

G.Great secluded spot in the heart of Havelock. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We booked the twin unit for two nights which was okay but did find the kitchen area a bit small.

A.Lovely motel in well tended garden environment. The rooms are set back from the road so they are quiet. They are very spacious, clean and well supplied. Great value for money. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It is our go to place when we have to stay overnight in Havelock.
T.Great stay spotless rooms sky TV. Excellent easy bushwalks have an abundance of native birds and trees,and start from the motel. Reasonable prices. The owner operators are lovely people and are a wealth of knowledge about the whole area. Plenty of places to eat nearby. It was 30 degrees outside and their beautifully shaded driveway was a most welcome inviting sight , in such heat. For me it made my trip to Havelock.
J.Enjoyed our time in Havelock with the Chatto Creek Motorcycle Club. Motel very close to everything. Loved being able to walk down to the Art Gallery.
L.Havelock is a loveley place to visit and Havelock Garden Motel is the perfect place to stay, centrally located, with all the units set well back in beautiful surroundings, which make it a very peaceful and restful stay. The hosts Steve and Kirsa are fabulous along with their wonderful staff 😊 we will defiantly be back!
C.Location was perfect for our few days. I am very particular about the cleanliness in motels I stay and without doubt this is the cleanest unit I have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable. Beautiful, quiet location and Karen gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. Would highly recommend this motel.

H.Very pleasing in every regard. Kind, informative, and attentive service from owner and staff, gorgeous accommodations themselves, and excellent location to explore the Marlborough Sounds. Room was compact but stellar. We enjoyed a rare night-in on our trip here due to the comfort of the accommodations and the bonus wide selection of classic movies. We hope our travels bring us back this way, so we can stay again!

N.Lovely and quite space. The rooms are very spacious and warm. Great facilities so you can cook if you like or plenty of local places to choose from less than 200m away.

D.Amazing host; been given great advice on local activities and tourist attractions. Had a small room without kitchenette, which was absolutely spotless. The Mussel Pot is just outside the property anyway.

E.Stayed here well working in the area, nice late 90s units tucked away in the bush very relaxing with bird song and insects chirping away. Rooms serviced well enough and cumpfy beds , really good shower pressure and pretty fast Wi-Fi. Close to the middle of Havelock although there's not much of it. Definatly the best accomdation in the heart of Havelock

D.Comfy quiet motel in beautiful gardens. Very friendly and helpful hosts. However,the bathroom was very dated and the placement of the toilet made it very difficult for my 6'4" hubby to use sitting down. No room for his very long legs. 😂 We did enjoy our stay in Havelock...thank you for organizing the Pelorus mail boat trip... thoroughly enjoyed it.
