L.Having a early flight out the next morning, I decided to head up to Christchurch early and stay the night. I stopped in Fairlie and had a look at what was available. Not a lot. My usually places were booked out, and it dawned on me that it was a big weekend in Christchurch, with loads of big events around the city. I managed to find a room at Belle Bonne for $135 for a apartment. The motel was easy to find, and Elizabeth behind the desk was delightful. She showed me to my two bedroom apartment, and told me this was the last room she had! The apartment was pretty big and spacious, and while slightly dated, it wasn't really all that bad. Comfortable modern sofa, and nice thick curtains. Full kitchen, and pretty decent beds
Only a few let downs for me:
Heating was a issue. It was a freezing night, windy and wet night. There was a small wall heater, and then a little plug in electric one. It was not sufficient for apartment that size.
Also the shower was housed in like a public toilet cubicle and it made it feel seriously dire.
Apart from these two little issues though, it was a good stay, and you will catch me back again in the future. :)
M.Very accommodating and helpful owner which we are very grateful. Place is old but tidy, got all the basics things you would need. Room service seems regularly. Place could upgrade with the bed, pillows and beddings as well as maybe a choice to be able to view some movies and not just freeview
c.Very nice but was not aloud my dog in there for even a night when she had her own bed and toilet pad the lady doesn't like animals
L.I booked 3 nights and 4 days here at Belle Boone Motel. I have blown away by the Hospitality service I have recently received. Prior to arriving I was sent a welcoming text message.
I found the room to be exceptionally cleaned, warm & filled with all the essentials one could need.

THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE!!!
The carpet is very clean & new.
Unlimited fast wifi which was great.
Cutlery was clean and new!
I will most definitely be returning here when I’m back in Christchurch.

L.Would 100% recommend for a nice comfortable stay for two. Me and partner really enjoyed staying here the last few nights. At $89 per night for a room with a separate kitchen, bathroom, lounge area and bedroom we couldn’t complain. Our bed had an electric blanket too!!. We also really liked the little bed in the lounge, I presume this may be for a third person or if the two of us didn’t want to share the main bed but it was great for watching TV. Free wifi and parking was right next door to our room. Elizabeth was awesome to deal with also.

Disappointing points-
No curtain over the front door so the light woke me up in the morning.
Bit of street noise but not too bad. Constant low level electrical buzz.
v.Although dated and in places worn, for the price I paid I got a huge unit. I arrived late and the host stayed and made sure I had a place to sleep. I inspected the bed and unit, everything was clean. Overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

T.I stayed here for 2 nights during my recent trip. I found the entire hotel to be very clean. From arrival to departure we were well taken care of. The location of the hotel is convenient. Friendly owner, Elizabeth was very nice, plenty of space in the room.
C.I would really recommend this place for a comfortable place in an affordable price. I reduced one star just because of lack of restaurants/shops nearby but alternatively there is an attached kitchen in each unit. It is one of the best places to stay in CHC.
K.Average room, a bit cold, we didn't get milk for hot drinks and beds were uncomfortable but everything was clean and ready for us.
