Stayed here for 1 night in the Deluxe spa room as I was attending a wedding down the road. It was amazing. Clean, comfy bed and very quiet even though the room faces Bealey Ave. Thank you to the owners who handled delivery of a platter for me and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable well appointed, spacious studio room comes with washing machine and dryer, good quality crockery and kitchenette. Located close to CBD. Cafe across the road for breakfast. Host was very helpful when I accidentally booked a wrong month. Thanks Brian. Will recommend and stay here again.

Lovely, cozy, warm and affordable queen bed and spa bath. Place was clean, and tidy. Just a little heads up unless you talk with the lovely guy at reception you only have the main TV channels no sky movies etc: and the walls are actually quite thin, you can hear someone drop a pin in the next room. But nonetheless would love to go back.

Mixed bag. Nice place and furnishings. The traffic noise is a definite letdown for this place along with extra people partying in guest rooms. The noise from the apartment above like toilets flushing and showers running is very noisy. We didn't get to sleep till 1235am due to the noise. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable and you can feel springs through the bed I'm guessing the wires from the electric blankets. Owner seemed nice enough however when we asked for extra milk there wasn't any and we had to go buy our own. Little things like that to me are are a let down. Would have liked to speak to the owner this morning about the noise etc overnight from the other guests but he simply took the key and didn't ask us how our stay was. So yeah thanks for having us but we wouldn't stay again.

Average place, got a spa bath which is good. However the pillow on the path came off and it was filthy. Can’t switch from bath to shower because the knob came off too. Room is a bit cold because the heater is very small, should really have a heat pump instead.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Clean and warm with plenty of room for a family of four. Convenient and central to everything we needed. Great service and a washing machine and dryer was a huge plus for us.

Best accommodation town! Most friendly host. Clean and tidy. I used to stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, now the earthquake had took it down, this is in my personal opinion a very nice substitute for it.

We spent a night here, being on the main road was a very noisey from early morning almost from 4:30 am. But the host Brian was very nice and helpful, it was a delight to meet him, I didn’t mind the noice for such friendly and helpful treatment.

(Translated) Very solid, clean and modern accommodation! Parking directly in the yard and reception has already expected us. Anyway, the staff was very friendly! Small note: The Herbal wash lotion had a very good quality in consistency and fragrance! Otherwise mostly 08/15 in other hotels. My recommendation! (Original) Sehr solide, saubere und moderne Unterkunft! Parkplatz direkt im Hof und Rezeption hat uns bereits erwartet. Ohnehin war das Personal sehr freundlich! Kleine Anmerkung: Die Herbal Waschlotion hatte eine sehr gute Qualität in Konsistenz und Duft! Sonst meist 08/15 In anderen Hotels. Meine Weiterempfehlung!
