A very clean and stylish hotel. Don't get fooled by the small size of this place since it has all to offer for a nice stay. The parking lot in front can be used to park your car overnight. Overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights. Sure be coming back to this place.

Great accommodation with a convenient conference venue. Ample space and very helpful staff.

Reasonable rate, clean, good size, great shower, central location. Stay here often, will be back.

Excellent hotel with respected, loving, friendly staff. Dispute the fact that I have OCD, the room was completely and fully clean. I didn't have to rinse the plates or cups before using them because they were that clean! The towels, bedding, and other cloths within the room were also very clean. The showering system is just great, having strong warm water pumping out, making you freshen up well. This hotel is also located in a very good location. It isn't far from the mall where you could shop at kmart and pak n sav (approx 15 mins - going left from the main street), the park and botanic gardens, as well as the Al Noor (An Nur) Mosque (All at same direction, going right from the main street - 15 minutes), and if you walk further after the botanic gardens, you can also explore the museum and the rest of the city with a lot of other memorial and historic places, as well as shopping centres. Well priced, close to Riccarton Mall the rooms are exceptionally clean. It's the type of place where you can do business by visiting anyone while it's close by. Open and bright. Restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed 2/10 20 and 3/10/20. Friendly staff. The unit was so clean and fully serviced the next day. Great price. Thank you Panther family. West coast.

Nice and quiet good night's sleep .

Comfortable bedrooms. Bathrooms are beyond dated. Plenty of mould in the bathrooms. No AC which is strange (they apparently have fans you can borrow from reception lol) The staff are very friendly & very accommodating.

Expect the very basic. Container style hotel, comfortable beds, small and a bit outdated bathroom. The breakfast had a poor choice, rather hostel style. A plus was the water kettle for hot drinks and a fridge in the room.

Some form of air conditioning, or even just a fan, is needed. Mostly renovated but a few noticeable things have been overlooked and let the place down (two screws holding the bathroom window together, bathroom window doesn’t shut properly. Overall, not unexpected for the low price.

For those that care to make the distinction, this is a motel, not a hotel. Don't stay here if it's going to be hot - the room had neither air conditioning nor a fan, and only two small windows at the back. I enjoyed the location as it was within 45 minutes walk of all the major tourist attractions, but will consider other options when returning to Christchurch.

I was stuck in Christchurch for the night with no place to stay, I looked for hotels nearby and the Ashley was extremely cheap, only $80 for the night, it seemed too good to be true. The room was incredible and the beds were extremely comfy, Uber Eats also delivers direct to your room but there's also great locations to eat just down the road. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Christchurch.

We spent three nights at this hotel as the last leg of our tour. A clean hotel with all amenities. The team was professional from the minute we placed the reservation. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. Would love to stay here again.

It's not a 5 star Hotel - but it is near Riccarton, clean, quiet and good value. We will go straight to Ashley next time (rather than spend a heap of time to try and save $5 at the risk of getting nasty surprises).

Great price. I little tlc to remove the mould from shower would make this 5/5. Everything else is fantastic. Unfortunately no AC. Happy to stay and will do again.

Quiet, simple, clean accomodation in a good location with lots of restaurants nearby. The continental breakfast was overpriced so we skipped it, but we spent a pleasant night there.

The environment is calm, you can sometimes hear a train passing nearby. It is possible to eat on site, the cuisine is simple. the breakfast buffet is a bit limited but you will find the essentials. Many restaurants are available nearby (Original) Un hôtel d'apparence modeste sur deux étages. La chambre est spacieuse avec deux lits dont un king size. La salle de bain est propre. L'environnement est calme on entend juste parfois un train passer à proximité. Il est possible de se restaurer sur place, la cuisine est simple. le buffet de petit déjeuner est un peu limité mais on trouve l'essentiel. De très nombreux restaurants sont présents à proximité

As a negative there is no elevator, and maintenance is lacking (aesthetically since everything works) especially in the bathroom. For a couple of nights it's pretty good. A ten minute walk is the commercial area, with many restaurants and shops. (Original) En España a esto lo llamamos apartamento. Aparcamiento suficiente, cama muy confortable y la habitación tiene lo mínimo necesario (nevera, microondas, tabla de planchar y plancha, calentador de agua, tostadora y unas piezas de vajilla). Como negativo no hay ascensor, y falta mantenimiento (a nivel estético ya que todo funciona) sobretodo en el baño. Para pasar un par noches está bastante bien. A diez minutos caminando está la zona comercial, con muchos restaurantes y tiendas.
