S.Lovely-lovely staff! Owners are very helpful and accommodation is comfortable as well as stylish. Renovated in 2019(2020?) That I really enjoy. They have a collab with the cafe next door to do a breakfast delivery service - very reasonably priced also!!

L.Great owners/managers. So nice and friendly. Rooms are well appointed and very clean, but the ceilings are not soundproofed. I felt like I was sleeping under a bowling alley filled with screaming children. Make sure you get a room on the second floor.

A.I stayed here for 2 days. Had an amazing experience. Extremely clean, well maintained rooms with all the facilities microwave, fridge, dishes, TV, heater. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Would love to stay again.
S.My husband and I spent two nights here to go to the cricket game. The facilities are perfect in everyway. To have the cafe on the corner was really convenient. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the motel. Pete was most obliging and we certainly will be staying here again. Many thanks.

T.What a great place to put up in Dunedin! Absolutely world class facilities and nearby amenities too. Modern furnishings are impressive and the hosts with a personalised welcome note from the owners. The beds are comfortable and we were refreshed and recharged for the next day.
I had the pleasure of meeting Pete at the reception and he was very hospitable with a wealth of information on nearby places of interest and popular dinner hotspots.
The property is conjoined with another serviced apartment style facility Aurora on George. The Oaken Cafe at the hotel's doorstep is family run and they do amazing coffee by Coffee Supreme. Highly recommend you call Pete before you book online as he may be able to assist wth a room more suited to your travel party.
J.A stylish hotel in walking distance of the Dunedin CBD
Pros:
• Friendly owners
• Great kitchen facilities
• Underfloor heating in bathroom (toasty toes)
• A lighter thickness blanket was available
• Easy and secure parking
Cons:
• Cramped; I kept knocking the toilet roll off the bathroom wall, there was little bathroom shelf space, and no room for a dining table. To be fair, there were bigger rooms available, and we would have upgraded at the time if we knew that was an option
• I had to put a flannel over the microwave display at night because the light was in my eyes, and I had to remove the battery from the wall clock because of a slight whirring noise
• Our shower leaked, but the owners were aware there had been a problem and thought they had fixed it. Unlike other hotels, the water pressure could actually be too high and delivered a needle-like pressure if you weren’t careful

P.Great accommodation that is next to the university. Friendly staff who were more than willing to help out. If you are a novice runner, an early morning jog through the CBD is a must.

Stanze pulitissime, nuove, arredate con gusto. La persona che ci ha accolti in reception ci ha anche accompagnato alla stanza per vederla prima di prenotarla. Molto disponibile.
