E.We spent four nights here and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was in an idyllic country setting with goats, sheep and horses in the surrounding paddocks. All this within an easy drive to Dunedin. The cottage itself was very clean and tidy, and the furniture very comfortable.
Ngaire our host was welcoming and friendly and provided nice touches like Christmas decorations, fresh fruit, weather forecasts, and supplies to feed the goats and chooks if we wanted to.
E.Hotel quality. Quiet location. 2min from suburbia. Ngaire is a fantastic host (even offered electric blankets when there was a cold snap). Simple kitchen facilities and good bbq. Very clean. Heat pump to heat or cool. We stayed with our 3 kids but it would be great for a couple as well. Will be recommending to family and friends. Email or call Ngaire directly to help a small business.
S.Ngarie was amazing! She went out of her way to make us so welcome! All the extra sweet wee touches made it so more special from the welcome sign to the goat and chicken food even what the weather was ment to do, and breakfast was amazing! We will be returning again in the near future, no more hotels for us when we come to dunedin!
S.This place is heaven on earth. From super friendly hosts, to adorable animals around the accomodation to impeccable cleanliness, everything is perfect. We had an absolute amazing stay, the place is very cozy and the beds are super comfy. Our wee boys truly enjoyed themselves, the 3yo at least, I guess the five month old too… The first thing he did in the morning was checking on the goats and yelling a good morning out of the window. Nghaire, Mark and their boys are amazing and the communication with them was very easy. There were toys, pet food, books and pretty much everything else you will need for a couple days away from home. We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and will try to come back one day.
D.Great hosts, fitted in with our plans and went the extra mile to make sure we were well cared for. Comfy bed and everything we could possibly need at the cottage.
I.Wonderfull. Ngaire was a superb host, very welcoming. Location ideal for families, our children loved the animals on the farm and feeding them with the animal food provided. There were lots of games and toy box for children. Cottage is warm and cosy, will certainly look to stay again if in the area and would recommend to anyone looking for a peacefull stay a stones throw away from the city

An exceptionally well presented farmstay home, Ngaire has gone above & beyond with a very clean & tidy cottage, with lots of little extras provided that made our stay all the more comfortable & memorable.
Right outside the front door are the resident goats and deer which are a delight to sit and watch in their environment.
Another thoughtful and much appreciated touch is that Ngaire also provides food daily to feed the goats & chickens - something myself and my husband had fun doing.
Lastly, the gorgeous fairy lights on the bed-head was a delightful surprise and really created a cosy ambience.
I cannot recommend Ngaire and Height of Dunedin enough. Very good value for money, a wonderful relaxing space & country environment and a very positive stay all round and we would definitely look at staying here again for future visits to Dunedin.

M.Ngaire was absolutely amazing, she really knew that area and told us of good trips to do. The rooms were lovely and we were even given some food to feed the friendly animals on their property (Deer, goats, chicken and even a malamute!) It felt like a home away from home with added luxuries. Super relaxing and great birdlife. Super close to the city without the noise.
N.A perfect cottage with great attention to detail. Very comfortable and serviced to a very high standard. Idyllic setting amongst mature trees with all day sun, with complete privacy. Only ten minutes from downtown Dunedin. We will definitely use this lovely abode again.
A.Wonderful place, nice and calm. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the host is super friendly and nice to us. The city of Dunedin is only 10 minutes away with the car. Would really recommend it 🙌
