A beautiful position overlooking the sea. Woke up to beautiful sunrise.
Sat out on balcony for breakfast. Romantic setting. Couple of negs..... stain on duvet, something stuck on furry blanket. But overall a nice place to stay with stunning views

The rooms are lovely. very spacious. the bed is a little close to the bathroom good thing I don't have a bad case of diarrhoea otherwise I would've had a bad time. Great view. I saw lots of ladies in bikinis so that was a plus. but the old man in his speedos standing outside of my window at 7:47 am was not a nice sight. It was Oceanfront, just like advertised. you could really smell that salty seawater. Though the waves were very loud. if you could quieten the waves next time that would be good and I might come back. The housekeeping was excellent. The nice ginger-haired girl did really good service in my room. she even cleaned my mildly soft skiddies off the bowl for me. And she also gave us an extra cookie. But I did happen to notice one of the receptionists has baggy knees. I know a good surgeon who can fix those for you. I miss Laksmi.

Amazing place to stay at the beautiful Saint Clair beach. Hotel is located right in front of the sea. Restaurants and local shops close by. Great staff. Highly recommended.
M.
It was very comfortable located in a nice spot close to the beach and the scenery was beautiful
D.
Glorious room and location. Our corner apartment has the most amazing views, great for seal spotting. Staff are very friendly. Hotel restaurant closed during our stay but locals highly recommend it. Great walking and salt pools close by. Honestly, we spent a huge amount of time watching surfers and dog walkers. Great bars and restaurants close by. If you want to learn to surf great spot.

While we did have a bit of a battle with the wifi, the concierge sorted us in style, I really should have asked sooner. We stayed in a corner room on the top floor, with basically a 270 degree view. Facilities were good, all clean and in good shape. Nice touches like a couple of USB power sockets on the clock radio and the two televisions were appreciated. We were worried there might be a bit of street noise but the sea pretty much drowned it out. We saw seals in the water from the balcony on the first morning. A glorious place to stay in St Clair.

Fab boutique place, Titi is an amazing restaurant
K.
Would have been five but the restaurant on site has poor access from street very steep stairs .Use the lift from hotel and expect to be treated in an interesting but unacceptable manner.Staff were condescending and attitude discourteous .never got to actually get anything and would never go back to restaurant. Italian restaurant down road brilliant as was Zoo cafe next door .Hotel itself perfect.great views excellent value for money

If your looking for a place to stay with spectacular view of Saint Clair beach I'll definitely recommend this hotel. We had our room in 404 and the view was amazing. It was tidy and we'll maintained place. They got few notes in the room how everything works. And phone to ring up the front desk if you need more assistant. Watch people walk pass and surf the surfer's. Watch the sunrise in the terrace while having coffee or even in your bed. They also have a car park underground which has CCTV camera. Few cafe and restaurants around so you can walk and enjoy your holiday.

Had the chef's choice 5 course meal at titi resturant. Food was very good. Service was good with our table waitress but another server failed to bring a drink I ordered so had to ask again. This should not happen at a restaurant of this quality. Would go again though for the food
P.
Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
M.
Our room was well appointed and comfortable. Off street parking was a plus. Great service by all staff. Being next to the beach and a great selection places to eat made our stay all the better. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
H.
Great view of the beach and friendly staff at this hotel.
Would recommend and go back there again.
B.
Not happy about the weather you put on but the unit was very tidy. Facing the beach on 1st level. Much more peaceful than Cumberland Motel in the scarfy zone.
J.
Perfectly situated across the road from St Clair Beach and only a short walk to local cafés and restaurants.
D.
The views are amazing! The hotel is perfectly positioned on one of the best surfing beaches in New Zealand. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Just a stroll down to cafes and a good gastro pub which does takeaways. Can't fault it!
C.
Had a one night get away surprise from my partner for my birthday, the hotel was amazing. Great water pressure in the shower, bed was really comfortable and the view from the balcony was stunning, even in overcast weather. The brunch menu at the restaurant is fantastic as well
My only complaint is that the Eggs Benedict costs $7 extra just to add bacon. Don't get me wrong, my brunch was amazing, but $7 more for bacon is a bit too much, hence the 4 star review.
A.
We really enjoyed our beachfront room. The location is great if you want to be near the beach or just need a general base of operations - but don't expect to be near downtown Dunedin. Overall the whole experience was perfect for our two nights. Parking in their underground garage is a little limited but parking out on the Esplanade is free.
K.
Excellent service. Very comfortable bed and very clean. Loved it!
B.
The hotel with the best views in Dunedin, overlooking St Clair beach. The top-floor corner room is especially amazing, with views over the entire beach & esplanade, and relaxing sounds of the waves so close throughout the night. Classy & elegant, with one of Dunedin's best restaurants downstairs. Makes for a beautiful romantic getaway
B.
Really loved it here. The service was wonderful and the room was superb. The bed was so comfy and everything was clean. 5 stars and highly recommended
K.
Great views friendly staff room came complete with washer/dryer
B.
Great place to stay, nice views
M.
Great setting but rooms starting to need a paint. Table on deck held together by rust
M.
An amazing location being right on the Esplanade at St Clair but unfortunately way over priced with a tired look - walls need a lick of paint, furniture needs a refresh etc. We booked into one of the luxury ocean view apartment's but there was no luxury to be found. With the restaurant being closed and only one other booking that we were aware of the place felt lifeless. I hope the owners are planning a much needed reboot for a place that has fabulous potential. The staff were helpful and we were a stones throw from some great eateries.
D.
This place is very good to stay in. There’s underground car parking, lobby area and the rooms are tidy. They even have under tile heating. The beach is just over the road and did I mention 5 star ⭐️
R.
Stunning. Room was immaculate, clean (which is not always the case) and well appointed. Awesome view from our room. Perfect place to spend our wedding night. Thanks guys.
M.
If you want a nice view of the seaview, then stay here. Enjoy getting out and about around St Clair. Take a beautiful stroll along the beach. Or check out the local cafes. Feeling parched? Then no problem a cold beer awaits you.
G.
Hotel Saint Clair is a small and high quality hotel with rooms having the most amazing sea views over St Clair beach, quality service and very helpful staff, I highly recommend staying there weather one night or a couple of nights you won’t be disappointed.
C.
Food was great and super good pricing! Staff are all lovely! Overall a good experience would definitely recommend

Fantastic location. We had a room with full sea views with a balconey. The hotel is very modern with all facilities you will need. Very friendly helpfull staff and a superb resturant next door offering breakfast, lunch & dinner which was some of the best food we have eaten in the first two weeks of a four week holiday. A very big thank you to Danielle for making us feel very welcome after a long drive and making us feel at home.
S.
My stay here for a week was the best experience. I was treated like royalty and the toom I had was so comfortable and the view was 360 views. A fabulous place.

Expensive but if you can get an oceanfront room it has some extraordinary views of the Dunedin waterfront. Great location in St Clair close to a beautiful walking beach.
N.
I recommend the top floor overlooking the ocean. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful
T.
Stayed on the top level. Great views, extremely clean rooms. Couldn't fault.
J.
Staff were friendly but not very professional and unsure of what to do. The food was ok but not worthy of the price of the dishes. Gorgeous Outlook to the see. Atmosphere awkward.
K.

So handy to the beachfront across the road in St Clair
Nice area for walking and exploring some of the grand old homes in this part of Dunedin.
K.
This is the second time we have stayed there the restaurant was closed again. Zoo cafe a joining facility tacky, microwave food expensive.
