Great place to stay. Hosts were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a suite ( twin) for my daughter and I , very comfortable, kitchen perfect with nearly new plates, pots, etc. Rooms nowhere near the street, so nice and quiet. There are plenty of parks, laundry room available, overall very satisfied with our 4 night stay.

Had an incredible stay. Was comfortable, warm, clean and the staff were so friendly. close to the city. I recently had surgery and was unable to walk and they were able to cater to this. They changed rooms to a more accessible room and it was so large and I felt really confident staying there on my own.

I've stayed at a few places in Dunedin. Motel On York is by far my favorite. Andy is a great guy and was super helpful. The rooms were super nice and had everything I needed for my work trip. If you need a place to stay in Dunedin I'd highly recommend staying here.

What a great find. So central to the city centre (5 min walk) and such a clean and comfortable motel with everything you need including a lovely little outdoor area/patio. The hosts are so lovely and helpful. We were a late check in due to flights and our key was readily available with a hand written welcome note. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay for a night or a week in Dunedin.

The host of this accommodation was so friendly and helpful with local tips on short cuts, shopping and dining. The room was spacious and very clean. The kitchen had basic facilities no pans or hot plate but I feel this may have been abused in the past. Great location for everything. Would recommend for sure.

I gave my 5 star as I was warmly greeted and shown my room with a clean sharpe look with a balcony and great shower . So close to town too so handy . I had the best nights sleep , very comfortable bed and the coffee was good very much appreciated for having me the night

We had the most wonderful stay! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Rooms were really clean and spacious with underfloor heating as well! They even went out of their way to scrape the ice off our windscreen in the mornings. Motel was really close to the Pentagon. We will deifinetly be back! Thank you so much!

I have mixed feelings about the place. It is fairly cozy and contemporary and is located close to the city center (walking distance actually). On the other hand the motel has three storeys and is not equipped with a lift and you will have to take your luggage upstairs by yourself. Since it is a motel I expected it to have a kitchen but in the room I only found a microwave and a kettle. Apart from that everything was fine.

Loved this place! Soooo central, right near everything you need to walk around the centre of Dunedin. Very handy for the Octagon area (Regent Theatre) and also the Town Hall cinema. <br/>It was a freezing weekend that we stayed but the room had been warmed which was amazing! We were so warm we turned off heating at night as they are very well insulated. Extremely clean and well appointed. Just great!

Is an amazing place. Rooms are spacious and kept clean. Hospitality is genuine and they are always smiling. House keeping had those little touches that make you feel good. Not bad for the price either. Will stay again.

This place seems to be pretty well located near the centre of the city, and has adequate parking. But it's a fairly average stay. Our Superior Studio room was a decent size and pretty well-equipped, but a soft bouncy bed doesn't give me a great night's sleep, the hairdryer wasn't working, and the shower was rather dysfunctional (combination of small cubicle and angle of the fixed shower head). The owner didn't come across as particularly welcoming although his wife when I checked out was very chatty. Be aware the owners have made this a totally non-smoking property -- even on balconies or in the car park! This is far from the norm in New Zealand (the only such property in our month traveling the country). This should be clearly flagged on their website: just say "We don't welcome smokers" or whatever and I'll book somewhere else. Also, there is no elevator and you may be on the third floor -- if that's a problem it is worth being aware of this Needless to say, I wouldn't stay here again.

Loved the place. Very good service. Welcoming hosts. Nice rooms. Close to all the stores and cafes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who was thinking of staying at Dunedin for a short while.

Nice quiet hotel within walking distance of the city centre, a 5 minute walk to the Octagon, on a side road with little traffic. Hotel complex is completely smoke free. Rooms are nice, reasonable kitchenette, sizeable spa bath, separate bedroom. Hair drier, iron and board. Pleasant house keeping staff. 30 tv channels, and free DVD hire from the office.

Convenient, clean. Good pressure shower, excellent value. Has parking which can be convenient in town also. Great communicators. Rooms have odd configurations, excellent heating.
