n. s.The beer was nice and cold and inexpensive. But we got them on a bad day (I hope) - we had a shuttle in 75 minutes and our meals didn't make it in time. No problem getting a refund but they had estimated 30 minutes.
S. L.Pub hotel with comfy rooms and shared bathrooms. This is handy to the bike hire shop and is at the start of the Rail Trail. Good pub food and breakfast included in the room rate.
S. A.My fiancee and I were staying the night locally as part of long road trip and stopped in here for dinner. The pub is as you would expect with plenty of Speights on tap. But the meal we were served was nothing short of exceptional. For a standard bar price, the two ladies in the kitchen prepared a meal of a quality that you'd be hard put to get paying top dollar in a city restaurant. I would recommend this kitchen to any traveller lucky enough to be in range of this fine establishment.

S. G.In the beginning of one of the harshest winter's in years we booked rooms for 6 people for 4days 3 nights.
The rooms were cosy and warm on arrival, immediate check in an an access out of the back for guests. 4 showers 3 bathrooms available, a lounge for relaxing and a separate dining area for guests.
Free WiFi soon request which satisfied the teens. Continental breakfast each morning which satisfied the family. But coming back to a toasty warm room with luxurious beds just made the stay perfect . Highly recommended especially through the winter.
