Such a quiet and peaceful place, like a home away from home. Very friendly owners, a well equipped kitchen/lounge, and a great pool. I thoroughly enjoyed my five nights camping solo there. Thank you!

We spent a night at the motel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was an affordable and comfortable option. Spare blankets were available, the sheets were of a good quality and the room was warm. We slept peacefully and I love the country setting. A nice swimming pool is available which would be fun to use in the warmer months. It was a great location for us being near the Cape Palliser Lighthouse, the Pinnacles and Lake Ferry. The hosts were friendly and told us about things we could see and do. Hopefully we can return next year!

Awesome little camp ground. Not far from lake ferry and not far from Ngawi. Has powered and non powered sites, cabins, and two motel units. You can use their washing machine for $4.00 per load. Has nice cool pool, a small games room, tv, and a small kitchen. This is a small place but worth a stop.

Went away for an overnight getaway, and found this little gem... cant recommend Chris and Renée enough as fabulous hosts. Not only was the room tidy and inviting... they enjoyed a cold beverage with us into the evening, which included meeting their 2 week old foster lamb which was the greatest ever. This was all after a quick check-in earlier in the day, only to need to call Chris for a tug off the beach sand that I buried our vehicle in.... top notch people running a top notch getaway. Will be back 100%

Liked: Quiet and relaxing with everything we needed, handy to both Cape Palliser and Lake Ferry. …

Amazing. We needed a quiet time away from the hustle and bustle. We chose a unit with a fireplace and it was superb. When you step in, you can see that it is retro but opening cupboard doors in the kitchen - the appliances are new and decent. The only thing I'd want people aware of, for these units, the step into the shower is quite high, which might surprise you like it did me :)
Lake Ferry Hotel is just down the road if you're wanting something to eat otherwise the kitchen has 2 elements to cook on and there is a communal kitchen onsite for campers.

Liked: Very friendly host and it was a small camping ground.
Disliked: I felt some of the amenities could be updated especially the showers. …

A really nice country setting. The rooms were very good. The owners were fantastic and really helpful. Most definitely one of my favourite places on this years trip to stay. I want to head back down there again and stay there when I go back out to the pinnacles walk and other places in the summer. Thank you for the great experience.

Almost boutique in its style and size, this campground is a real gem. With a handful of cabins, motel rooms and tent/caravan sites, it seems hard to believe that this place would ever feel packed. Ablution facilities were limited in number but clean. The kitchen adjoins the TV/games room and is small by campground standards but has everything you need - including cutlery. Too lazy to try the BBQ but they looked decent. There is even a small pool with loungers and a sun umbrella.
Location is just before the Cape Palliser/Lake Ferry intersection - just down the road from Pirinoa (which has the quite funky little Land Girl Coffee House that does nice sandwiches).
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Once they get their website updated (the only reason why this is not 5 star - prices are now slightly higher - we paid $15 per person per night for a tent site), I can see this place attracting a lot more patronage. I strongly suggest giving them a call if you want to make a booking.
Dog friendly so if you bring your furry friend (by arrangement) make sure you bring your poo bags and clean up so that it stays that way.

Very private and hospitality is great. Very relaxing 😎 Honesty number 1. I've forgotten my wallet and they contacted me immediately and mailed it to my home address. Best service 😊

Good value holiday park with a variety of accommodation options. Reception left a lot to be desired. A disinterested 9/10 year old boy answered the bell, then had to wait some time while he yelled for his parents. We did arrive after check in time. Though once booked in the owner was very helpful and friendly. And the rooms were large and fully equipped.

Perfect place to stay before spending a day at Cape Palliser and the Pinnacles! We stayed the night there yesterday in our van, the owners are lovely and the facilities are a great value for the price. Free wifi, showers, pool, kitchen equipment, a big DVD collection and so on. Recommend! :)

Stayed in one of the cabins for our Honeymoon. Beautiful, looked brand new and could sleep up to 6! Fully equipped kitchen (better than our apartment at home) with everything needed for cooking (knives, peelers, spatulas, strainers, pots and pans, etc.). Cozy wood burning stove with lots of firewood and gorgeous view to wake up to. Holiday park even has a pool and a games room/library!
Owners were lovely, couldn't have asked for a better stay! Highest recommendations.

Liked: Clean, comfortable, private cabin; friendly, helpful staff
Disliked: Kitchen facilities - only one stove and one sink - needs at least two and preferably three sinks and stoves. Wifi too slow and intermittent.

Very small campground but perfect when we stayed there. Only 4 people camping on this day, so the kitchen was big enough and two toilets were ok, but i can imagine that in peak season this campground facilities get crowded very fast... But we enjoyed it here, nice staff and a tv with DVDs!
