P.Great little place, exceptionally clean, and recently re done up inside, Paul the owner was a really nice guy, very friendly and you feel welcomed when you arrive, was a hot day and he gave my kids a couple of free juices, plus put our wet clothing towels on the line, small things but they go a long way, great little place to stay _ highly recommend!
T.Great hosts. Off street parking for trucks. Home cooked meals and cut lunches on request. Quiet warm rooms with huge tv’s, SKY and wifi.
E.Clean tidy units, very quiet and no bright lights to keep you awake. No neighbors to worry about and situated on a quiet street. Plenty of parking even if you have a big trailer or boat. Would definitely reccomend it.

S.My sister and I were heading to the Bay of Plenty for a few days, leaving straight after work on Friday 23 August. We decided we needed to overnight somewhere, rather than drive straight through in the dark, and chose the Celtic Motel in Foxton for two reasons - the positive reviews and its location away from SH1. We were thrilled with our choice. We received a warm welcome on arrival, our unit was comfortable and warm, it was well-stocked with all the essentials, our beds were very comfortable and there was no traffic noise. The only negative was the poor design of the shower which sprayed water towards the toilet when turned-on. We quickly decided to forgo showers when we discovered the problem. Despite this one issue, we both agreed we would stay at the Celtic Motel again.
C.Fantastic service although we arrived late and without a booking. Comfortable beds, great pillows, service with a smile, big rooms and lots of extras. Thankyou to Paul the owner for your patience and care with our very late arrival. Very much recommended and will definitely stay again.
D.Lovely friendly staff and immaculately presented Motel in a very quiet location. The only nit picky gripe I have is the shower I think has a water saving head so the pressure was low. Over all this is a great little Motel which is hard to find fault with.
K.Incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts who went above and beyond with keeping my room warm and allowing a late check out as it fitted in with their bookings. The room was absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet as not situated right on the main road. Would stay here again
J.Celtic was a great place to stay for us a stop over from our recent south island trip to home. The motel was very quiet and peaceful being off the main road. It could do with some better signs out the front as coming up the road towards motel you couldn't clearly see if there was a motel further up.
Paul was a great host and not only recommended places to eat, but also booked them for us.
Id' definitely stay there again.
W.I had a great stay at the Celtic. Paul was friendly and helpful, he suggested a great walk to do in the evening and a place for dinner and then another for breakfast.
The unit was clean and tidy and while the complex is only a few hundred metres from the main road it is enough so that there was no vehicle noise to disturb my sleep.

D.This was the cleanest most updated motel we have stayed in- everything was new and fit for purpose - we had an unavoidable change of plans and they happily refunded the balance of our stay. Bit far from the beach but if you are after somewhere a bit off the beaten track, then this is the perfect place to stay in Foxton.
S.My stay in Foxton unfortunately coincided with some rather wet & windy weather but nevertheless I had a warm welcome on my arrival at the Celtic Motel by Paul, and was shown to my room and given a tour of the amenities and a run down on the local attractions and dining options.
I made friends with Bob the cat and spent a while exploring a little of the Foxton area before retreating to my warm and comfortable room for the evening.
I enjoyed my stay despite the weather and if I find myself heading up that way again I'll be hoping to stay with you again!

D.We broke down in Foxton and the garage suggested Celtic Motel, so glad they did. Paul from Celtic came and picked us up he also took us to the supermarket for food & refreshments. The motel was lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay, we were also given a late checkout and were delivered back to the garage the next day.

D.Celtic was an absolute haven. We were on the road from Wellington to Auckland with no place to stay, and it was pretty late at night. Despite the late hour and the fact that we had no reservation, our host was very gracious and went out of his way to get us set up in a lovely room. It was a very comfortable, spacious room that suited us perfectly.
D.I have recently relocated to Foxton, and if you are looking for a lovely, quiet, clean motel for your team of movers and yourself, then this is the place for you! The rates are reasonable and the hosts are very obliging and friendly. These hosts went the extra mile to assist me with other associated moving requests, and parking is exceptional, with no trouble for large trucks. We all got a good night's rest, which ensured a trouble free move the next day! I can recommend the Celtic Motel to those of you who are looking for a quiet and comfortable Motel, with Sky, and friendly hosts willing and able to assist you.
F.We attended a whanau kaupapa in Levin and Shannon over 3-days and needed a comfortable place for our Dad to rest and stay while there. The room well met his needs for a wet-area shower and kitchen for meals and comfy bed. The people were also very available and always friendly and efficient. They asked after our Dad and enquired about the whanau hui we attended(Unveiling and 60th birthday) and were genuinely interested. I thought it was really nice too that they put our dishes away that we left draining on the bench. Thank you all for your lovely way and accomodation. Tutara whanau :-)

T.Wonderful place to stay, would recommend this to anyone who is on a hoilday or passing through, it's close to palmy and Wellington so there are lots of options, also the service is fantastic, the place is in quiet area so no traffic noise at night which is a bonus if ya need to sleep.
