E.Katy and her sister made us really welcome to the motel. We had our bikes and surfboards and we were given a room with a garden to put them in and use of their hose for the bikes. The room was spacious, warm and clean. We could walk across the road in wetsuits and surf and then return to a piping hot shower. Perfect!
A.Comfortable, near the beach, car park right outside room, includes small kitchenette area.
3 stars: the plug for the bedside lamps & the light switch for above the bed is behind the head-board of the bed. Also, the fan in the bathroom doesn't work. The temperature of the water in the shower kept changing; I had to keep adjusting the tap.

A.Absolutely loved this place. Not flash if you like flash. Those of you enjoy homely friendly and accommodating this place is for you. Clean and stylish. We had an upgrade on arrival. We would have stayed longer if we had the chance. This place will be the only place we will go for accommodation next time we are in Gisborne. Cross the road to the beach and minutes distance driving to town centre. Thanks to the proprietors for the attention to making us feel very welcome and comfortable.
A.Large spacious rooms, close to beachfront, very tidy grounds, rooms service daily with warm friendly smiles always helpful nothing is a problem so I stayed an extra three nights recommend this accommodation very highly
J.Beautiful and warm room with plenty of close amenities and the service was fantastic as a change of circumstance had us booking at 10pm the night of and they were very accomadating of that.

C.So close to all amenities and easy parking very clean modern convenience
Just a hop skip and jump to the beach and boardwalk that you follow all the way to town
We were able to walk up the Mount to watch the sunrise was within walking distance
No need to drive loads to walk to and plenty of historical sites as well as new sculptures to view
Handy to info centre too
Would recommend travelling up the coast to the longest pier at tolaga bay or up to Mt Hikurangi where the Waka has be moved to now not in Tikitiki as they are starting a restoration project on it
G.I highly recommend this beautiful clean motel.We stayed for 2 nights in a 1 bedroom unit it was spacious,comfortable with a very warm & friendly feeling.2 minute walk to the beach.PERFECT...
