I.the room was a great functional size with everything needed and the staff offered great service. Surprisingly the Sky TV not only had Movies but also taping ability.

E.Great place to stay! Welcomed a comfy bed after a week staying elsewhere with an uncomfy bed. The air conditioning was much needed and great to come home out of the heat into a cooled room! Thank you!

J.Comfortable and clean motel on the main road, so some noise from traffic. Room was spacious with kitchen facilities. Beware - the shower is the spa bath so not great for anyone with mobility issues. No non slip mat provided in shower.
A.Great location and layout motel. Rooms are clean and tidy, sizable bathroom with jacuzzi.
T.The owner was on holiday so we were greeted by B & Kim who were looking after the motels. Great welcome, showed us our room, parking spot and let us know Wifi password etc. The room was very clean, very spacious and had everything you needed: small kitchen, very nice crockery, iron etc. Laundry facilities and washing powder free. Really comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Will definitely stay again👍👍

A.Always enjoy staying at the White Heron. Very sizeable rooms with comfortable modern amenities. The owners are always accommodating to make you feel welcome. Can't recommend them highly enough, truly 5-star hospitality for the weary traveler.
T.We didn’t stay, but we went for dinner and the food was outstanding! We will be back again. The service was also awesome, the lady behind the counter brought out cars paper and pencils for our son to draw. The food came so quickly. Was by far the best place to dine, didnt have to wait an hour for a meal. And the meals were huge and my fish was cooked perfectly. As we left everyone was so nice even the people in reception were so warm and welcoming. See you all again soon
M.We have stayed at the White Heron a few times now, and every time it is excellent. Great service, super clean, nice spacious rooms, love the jacuzzi baths and shower pressure is spot on, the kitchenette has everything you need. Great stay and is one of our faves
R.We had a lovely stay at the White Heron arrived after dark unannounced looking for accommodation for the night and our hosts went out of their way to make sure that we were all settled in for a very pleasant stay could thoroughly recommend this first class motel and look forward to staying there when we next travel to Gisborne.

M.A nice Motel situated a little way from Gisborne CBD. The beds and pillows are comfortable which is important to me. I found the rooms clean and reasonably well equipped if you wanted to eat in. Only criticism is the rooms are a bit dull party due to the overhang from the roof which you can't do much about.
D.The White Heron is always so clean and well presented when I stay here. The rooms are spacious with a good sized TV and one of the more comfortable beds you will find in a motel anywhere! They have been completely refurbished recently and are always immaculate. The rooms I have stayed in are away from the road and very quiet for those of us who don't like traffic noise!!
Wayne always gives you a very warm welcome.

I.Great place. We stayed at the 2 bed apt and the kids lived the fact that there were TVs in every room AND the living room. Well fitted, comfy beds, nice bathroom and excellent location.

L.I have stayed there before but they have done all the rooms up to a very high standard since then. Great location, lovely people you deal with AND heaps of TV channels. It was a great stay, I highly recommend it.

S.First thing was the couple behind the desk were amazing they personality showed us our room and gave us a small tour, I was looking forward to the spa bath and I wasn't disappointed instant hot water the pressure in the shower is to die for my husband was happily lounging on the bed watching sky tv. The unit it self is extremely clean and is just like the picture on the website and the carpet I want at home. 😊 this unit had air-con in the room so it was warm when we arrived.
Everything is perfect if we come back to gisbone at any time we will be coming back.
