Really enjoyed our stay! The Sleep, Eat and Soak package that the Bella Vista has set up with the local hot tub and restaurants was absolutely amazing, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Excellent service and Really tidy and clean rooms 👏 have already recommended to all my family and friends.
l.Very clean and up to date studio unit with jug, toaster and microwave. Owner / reception very friendly and most helpful in all respects. Definitely stay again next time but might pay to book ahead as full each night which speaks for itself.

G.Fantastic Motel! I visited in March 2020. The staff were excellent. They checked me in right away, and when I asked about doing laundry, they went out of their way to get me supplies and coinage to do a few loads. The room was large and well appointed, and the well stocked kitchenette was a great help during my stay. My only criticism is that the parking spaces were a little small for the Toyota SUV I was driving. Great place!

J.Warm greeting upon arrival. Room was good size, small area for cooking and a power shower like I've never felt before! Lots of room for parking and a good price for the one night stay to break up a drive. Happily return.
H.We stayed at Bella Vista for one evening. Staff friendly and helpful and accomodation was clean. I give three stars due to the lack of hot water (bath was luke warm) and also the very uncomfortable beds. My mother son and I shared a one bedroom apartment. My mother took the queen bed and my son and I had a single each.my bed was on an extreme lean which meant I did not sleep well and pulled shoulder muscle trying to straighten myself up. Bella vista pretty reliable however this one time hot water and single beds need to be addressed.

K.Tidy, basic studio room. The bed itself is very comfortable but the pillows weren't-they were thin and too hard. We could have used a luggage rack. The spa bath was nice, shower has good pressure. Hosts were friendly and location fairly close to town however no eateries or supermarket within close reach.
M.I had a lovely one night stay for work at the Bella Vista in Greymouth. It met my needs for a work trip and I will be staying there again. It was close to everything I needed and a short stroll to restaurant's I went to.

T.Like all Bella Vistas, this motel is well maintained and equipped, a good place to stay. Amazing service when we left a valuable purse behind by mistake. The facilities were very clean and all if perfect working order. Competitive pricing and a friendly greeting on arrival ensure we would return here.

T.We landed up at this motel as a last minute and were lucky to grab the last room available. All the motels rooms in New Zealand are exceptionally clean as the Belle Vista. The staff were always friendly whenever they passed our way. Look for something in Hokitika which is a much nicer place.
M.Amazing motel! So modern and clean. Includes a mini kitchen with a kettle, microwave, fridge, and dishes. There is a heat lamp for post showering! The bed is very comfortable. Lucy was super nice as well and check in was until 830PM! They use refillable dispensers for soap and shampoo so it’s eco friendly.

T.Its always great to find a bella vista in a place as you know what you going to get. Very clean and all facilities needed. The hotel is close to Monty's and the host was very kind to drop us off to the place for drinks. Thanks to the hosts Bryan and Maria.
P.Very happy with the room; very NOT happy with the charge.
My partner & I stayed August 2013; we booked a "2 DAY SPECIAL: Stay 2 nights in any studio type at full rate and get 50% off 2nd night" (winter weekend specials, 1 May to 30 Sept on their direct webpage). We chose the "Compact Queen" room, $109 a night. I phoned the motel to book direct with them & was verbally given the price of $164 total for the two nights.
The motel was very quiet (almost no-one else there our first night), lots of good-sized car parks, very nice from the outside. The room was small but nicely decorated, nice and warm, the bed warm and comfortable; loved the shower! There was no noise from the other units on our 2nd night. Overall I'd say their 4 star rating was appropriate.
However, as I was loading the car & my partner went to pay, somehow the rates changed - the "full rate" became $130, so $195 total... The manager said something about 'charging the full rate because we had the two day special' that my partner did not understand, & we were way too far down the road by the time she told me, to be bothered going back.
This probably wouldn't have happened if we had booked online... but we wouldn't have got their "advertised special" because it doesn't appear on the other online booking services, only on their direct webpage.
So... Would recommend the place for it's facilities - but disappointed with our visit because of the unexplained price increase...
T.We had a fabulous welcome and everything we needed we received. Bit out of way from town but a nice walk or you can get a taxi. Friendly staff advised of local placed to get provisions and local sites to see. For the price we paid I was very impressed.
T.Shower head is located a little low for taller people. We walked to town later that day, about 30 minutes which was pleasant and ate dinner in town and ambled back. I did choose to stay in Bella Vista because it was the closest motel with last available room to train station.
L.Very comfortable and well appointed. Does good service by providing free taxi to Monteiths brewery and also a 10% discount.
M.The motel is centred close to town. The rooms are modern and clean. King bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and there is plenty of off street parking.

D.Clean, great shower, studio room over laundry noisy, no aircon so room stuffy at night in summer, only 3 Sky channels all Sport, free wifi, basic room adequate but over priced at $175 per night.
C.Clean, comfortable and 3 mins from the town centre. Bed was firm but OK and there was a desk to work from if required. 150mb of free Wi-Fi then charged thereafter with a number of options available.

Nous y avons dormi une nuit. Bonne situation géographique. La chambre est très confortable bien qu'un peu petite et nous regrettons qu'il n'y ait pas deux chaises pour pouvoir manger ensemble.
Savon, shampoing et après shampooing sont fournis. L'accueil est très sympathique et l'ensemble du personnel est adorable. Nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner lors d'un prochain séjour.
