Nested in the beautiful West Coast, this gorgeous church has been restored into a peaceful, comfortable delight for the lucky people who discover Hidden Valley Lodge. The family enjoyed many treats, like the smell of the bush, the hot pool relaxing, and the excitement of the night-time walks for the glow worms! It's always a pleasure to stargaze from a different location. When the lake is calm, it invites you to see the trout and the amazing reflections of the surrounding bush. We stayed in Feb 2022 with much gratitude to our lovely B&B hosts Grant and Fran, and friendly locals. Love and light, from Bridgette.

What a great, location, view and building(old church). Highly recommended for a longer stay. The church has everything you could need. Even bush walks and glowworms. One thing to note...bed rooms are upstairs bathroom is downstairs (for those with limited mobility).

We have been going to hidden valley for a number of years now and it still feels like such an amazing place. This is definatly our favourite place to stay for a break. There are beautiful views great fishing and such friendly neighbors including the yabbies, wekas and we are sure we heard a kiwi call last time we stayed.

Fantastic place!! Seriously one of the most beautiful places and the church is a slice of history pleasantly preserved and respected in it's conversion to a lodge.
