A.This is a great place to stay. Loved it, the setting is amazing and Lee was a fantastic host. Pub just a short stroll down the road was also a bonus with good meals and very friendly. Lovely walks on the doorstep as well.
Z.Karen and Lee are awesome hosts, the location is great for being close to amenities but feeling “away from it all”. Homemade delights for breakfast, little dogs with big attitudes, a bush spa, handy to some great short walks and the pub (and Governor). Love it here and can’t wait to get back!! Comfy beds, hot showers and birdsong is my happy place.

A.Fabulous place made all the more enjoyable with our super friendly and helpful hosts who couldn't do enough to make our stay so pleasant. The rooms were very clean with super luxurious beds. Most of all, we so looked forward each morning to the breakfast room and the enticing array of food available, all accompanied with much fun and laughter. Highly recommended. Will certainly book there again.
A.We really enjoyed our brief stay at Omau Settlers lodge. Our room was very comfortable with a very cosy bed, which gave us a great nights sleep. There are beautiful views out to the coast at the front of the room and to the mountains behind. There was a continental breakfast with lots of options, and importantly good coffee! The owners were really welcoming and helpful and gave us some useful tips for our onward trip south, particularly the pancake rocks on our way down to Franz Josef.
B.Beautiful location and amazing stay. Hosts Karen and Lee were fantastic. Each morning were given the perfect breakfast to start the day off. We enjoyed so many great walks in the area and discovered beautiful beaches along the West coast. Will definitely be returning.
C.The rooms very clean and modern and the host is great. They only let down that did not make this a 4 star was that the room heater was too small for the room. When we checked in, I need to have a hot shower and get into bed while the room heated up. I would recommend to the host to turn on heaters when expecting guests. The small extra cost in power worth the experience of a guest walking into a warm room. Also the tv is too small, especially when flat screens are so cheap. Again after a long day adventuring, be nice to have a cosy room and a decent tv to watch a movie on etc. (no sky tv)

R.One of the best places ive stayed in my many travels around New Zealand! Karen and Lee are exceptional hosts, know the area very well, and can recommend many activities in the surrounding area for you to experience the West Coast at its best.

R.A fabulous place to visit. Kaz & Lee are wonderul hosts of this 5 star lodge. We enjoyed a wonderful scenic walk to the seal colony at Cape Foulwind. We are planning to return in autumn to visit Denniston and experince black water rafting.

Precioso lugar, súper cómodo, todo decorado y ordenado con buen gusto, productos de elaboración propia, los dueños súper amables y serviciales, desañudo rico y saludable, el mejor sitio que nos hemos quedado en Nueva Zelanda, además la colonia de focas esta a 4km y se ven todo el año
K.(Translated) Perfect accommodation enhanced by the motel owner. He took us to see the coast, it was fun with him. Super breakfast in the morning, we really liked it. I recommend to stay overnight.

Perfektní ubytování umocnene majitelem motelu. Odvezl nás na prohlidku pobřeží, byla s ním legrace 😄. Ráno super 👌 snídaně, fakt se nám tam líbilo. Doporučuji na přespání.
