On arrival, our host greeted us with a hearty friendly welcome. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good size bathroom with awesome shower water pressure. Location is good with cafe's, eateries and shops only a few mins walk. Totally recommend.

Great stay. Friendly and helpful owners. The unit is well sized with a living area, bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. Everything worked well - shower pressure was great, microwave was powerful, ductless split unit regulated temperature well. Good location within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The unit was presentable, felt clean and looked very tidy, and no unwanted smell. The bed, very comfortable and the pillows OMG so, so comfortable, I had no trouble sleeping. I would stay there again.

This is a nice place. Room was clean and I think recently refurbished. Kitchenette very well equipped. Bathroom was spacious and had a jetted tub. Brick exterior significantly buffers noise from the road and you can request a room off the road. Staff significantly nice! I’d stay here again.

A brilliant place to stay. Hosts are so friendly and have high standards meaning the motel was really nicely appointed with a little luxuries that make a motel special. The unit was spotless, everything was well maintained. Close to a great local shopping area with MADE - a diverse hub of retailers, foodies, creators and artisan vendors.where you have numerous dining choices and a range of foods to prepare at home. I can't wait to return.

Stayed here for one night to visit the Hobbiton. Super friendly reception and hassle free check-in and checkout and parking experience. The room was clean and spacious, the shower has great water pressure (and it had a space heater! Which was greatly appreciated since it starting to get cold..) and the hair dryer was strong and worked perfectly. The location is walking distance to the city’s most happening strip with lots of restaurants, and a 3 mins drive to the Hamilton Gardens. It’s about a 35 min drive to Hobbiton. The drive itself was quite lovely.

Albert Court Motor Lodge proved that you didn't need to pay high price to get 5 stars quality. The moment I checked in, Wendi and the embassador dog Charlie welcome me with warm greetings. My room was clean, well equipped with kitchenette, everything I needed and a patio. Bed was comfortable, location made me feel safe. On-site free parking. 5-10 mins drive to restaurant, grocery and the must visit Hamilton Gardens. Wish I could've more time to spend here. Highly recommend.

Comfortable motel, well equiped, split system AC with friendly hosts. Noisy by no fault of the owners. Especially if senior citizens leave room door wide open while they lying on their bed with tv at full volume and again early morning. I guess I haven’t seen it all after-all.

Ian and Chris were just wonderful, I explained I couldn’t check in before 8pm and they were so accommodating and friendly, leaving the key in a secure spot and turning on the lights and closing the curtains for me. The room was extremely clean and warm and the bathroom was immaculate. I felt very comfortable from the moment I arrived and found the bed extremely comfortable - I had a great night sleep! Coming from the suburbs I found the city noises a little disturbing but once I popped in my ear plugs I slept soundly. A most welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you so much!

Good location close to some nice eateries and the Waikato River for those who want a walk. Nice shower with Good water flow. Beds were comfortable even though they appear a bit old. Good to have a heat pump to keep us cool and to have it turned on when we arrived. Reception was excellent on our arrival.

Excellent place to stay in Hamilton I stayed for 3 nights at Albert Court Motor Lodge, together with several other colleagues from work. Everything was excellent! The room size, cleanliness, comfort, shower, facilities, host - everything. A special and unique aspect is the use of environmentally friendly toiletries- aptly labelled “One less bottle”. Highly recommended and will only be too happy to come back another time.

Absolutely loved this place! Very very comfortable, good bed and pillows, very clean, great range of coffee and tea. And good charge back and delivery options for food. It's the staff that make this place great though, went way out of their way to accommodate our needs and were so lovely and kind. Highly highly recommend.

If you're looking for a really nice motel then here is one. Situated in Hamilton East its in a nice quiet street but less than five mintues drive from Grey St shopping, fast food outlets, cafes and bars. The owners are friendly and the motel units are modern, roomy, include two armchairs to relax in, are really well maintained and clean. The road access is easy. So is the access to each unit. So if you have someone with walking aid or in a wheelchair there's no problem. Its a little gem this motel. We would definitely stay again.

Great customer service and excellent room service too. The room can be modernised a bit but it is good for the given price. The room and the bed was very good. The air con and stove didnt work as expected. But in general 4 start is good to give.

I'm reluctant to write a raving review for one single reason: if this place becomes too popular because it's that good - and in fact it is! - then it will be harder for me to get a room. This is a great place to stay when in Hamilton or nearby. The rooms are of very high standards. It's clearly visible that the operators want their guest to have a great experience. Each room - admittedly I haven't seen all of them yet - has Sky TV, a kitchenette at least one king size double bed and wifi internet connection. Everything is squeaky clean and we'll maintained. Downtown Hamilton is within walking distance. At night the place is quiet. I always get enough sleep. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I'm happy to give the Albert Court Motor Lodge a five star rating.

Nice little set up. Abit let down about the size of the spa bath.. and only light blanket on the bed, but there was a heat pump which made the room warm. Nice and close to many different food outlets.

We were very impressed with the room we had #16. The heatpump had been turned on for our late night check-in which was lovely! It had everything we needed & a spa bath. The only down side was probably no electric blanket. I booked thru Travelocity which I regret & will not use them again. I thought I was paying NZD$132 & thought was cheap but ended up being $190 because its USD $ which I must've overlooked(this ain't anything personal against the moteliers) but just be aware.

Wonderful little motel in Hamilton - very well located next to restaurants and department stores. Rooms are well appointed and they offer a very cheap laundry / ironing service which is super convenient. Parking is right next to the room and there is one parking lot for each room. Finally, the owners are some of the most friendly and helpful people I have come across - I highly recommend Albert Court Motor Lodge!

I visited Albert Court Motor Lodge, in Hamilton last year 2015 around August to see the place and spent our first night there before we had our group stay in October that same year, No doubt we were very pleased indeed with the room and service we received by the owners the rooms were perfect very clean and immaculate the noise from the road wasn't at all a problem couldn't hear anything, it was comfortable and a very pleasant place to stay. In October it was our second stay there this time with our big group we all traveled down for a wedding booked a few rooms that we had booked before hand the feed back my group said how it was such a wonderful stay the owners were very accommodating everyone loved their rooms also decided that this will be their 1st option when visiting Hamilton again shops and fast food places were handy for our teenage children to walk too and for them to just enjoying catching up with their cousins from overseas being 3 minutes away and the adults also enjoyed their catch up sessions with each other also cause the cafe was handy for us also just to 3 minutes walk so there was no need of taking transports to find places to get something to eat, we all found this place to be ideal for those who are looking for shops and fast food outlets that is in walking distance not only that Hamilton Gardens was also nearby for those who wanted to go for a stroll down to the Gardens. I just wanted to take this time to thank Albert Court Motor Lodge so much for giving us a very pleasant stay we will be back again for another wedding this year 2016 so we shall see you soon.

We highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay whilst in Hamilton the Albert Court Lodge is up there in terms of quality, cleanliness and exceptional value for Money. Our booking was last minute having to attend a tangi in Hamilton, it was late in the evening when we contacted the front desk having travelled from Kaitaia and Rotorua respectively. From the initial call to the front desk until we left we were welcomed and treated with exceptional customer service, not big on reviews and having stayed a numerous motels regularly I can honestly say the team here are at the top of our list and therefore have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to travellers. 11/10

Tidy and clean, close to shops, restaurants, and gas stations for the essentials. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, I cracked a glass by accident and let the hotel owner know I was happy to replace it however he said these things happen and don't worry about it. The rooms have everything you need, kitchen, air-con, heat, bathroom was beautiful with a shower and spa bath. I will be returning. No loud neighbours, and privacy guaranteed.
