A.I've stayed here for the last 2 plus months. Everything is nice and clean. Staff are awesome! Recommend room 16 with the double shower and private balcony.

J.Service was excellent above and beyond from Rachel my dad had left important papers behind and she sent them out promptly which we were extremely grateful for, We needed accommodation for hospital stays and this is now our go to place clean rooms and really convenient can’t thank them enough

M.We stayed here as our son was in HDU modern rooms that are very clean we stayed in 3 different rooms over our stay the beds are so comfortable and the showers are so good great staff very helpful and friendly we would def stay again give this motel a 10
J.As a bigger guy, I find it hard to sleep in motel beds, this hotel has the most comfortable beds I have slept in for a long time, very nice modern rooms, affordable and absolutely awesome staff. I’m gonna be staying here a lot more in the future.
N.A clean, comfortable easy to find motel. Had everything needed for a nights lay over in Hamilton...would recommend.
It would be a huge plus if Double Glazed windows were installed as motel on main road route...quite noisey into the late of night and early mornings...(high heavy traffic volumes)
S.Great if you need to stay overnight for the hospital as it's just around the corner. Has a little kitchen setup and fridge so you can make your own meals. Cleaned daily with comfy beds 👍
B.Very nice room, clean, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. One star off for getting woken by the freight trains and morning traffic ( we were on top level and we're not light sleepers )

G.Best shower ever in our room. Bed was super soft on top but still firm to support a falla with a dodgy back ,I woke up feeling good, not a normal occurrence when staying away from home. A very nice place. Well done owners!
A.This is the place that I deserve. Beautiful room, feels like home, I love it, brand new room, tidy, comfortable, it has all the characteristics published in its website and more. Bryan, the owner (Bilingual), is a very nice person, helpful. I wish I could take this place with me for the rest of the trip around NZ. I totally give 5 stars to this excellent hotel! Very very nice style!

The room was really neat and tidy and spacious. Loved the fact they included make up remover wipes in the bathroom as I had forgotten to bring them! Lots of tv channels also a plus.
Bed was really comfortable and the shower was great.
Also enjoyed pats with the resident cat.

let me tell you about the double head shower - wow !!!! Great owners Brian & Rachel - this is now our Favorite motel everytime we visit Hamilton
N.I booked in here a day earlier, with knowing I needed to be at the hospital early in the morning & check in not until the afternoon I didnt want to drag my luggage everywhere with me, the staff member offered to hold my bag for me until I came back later that day. Upon arrival and checking in the gentleman (owner) was very friendly and made me feel at ease with conversation about why I was in town and what was going on in my world. Makes a big difference when your over tired and in a new town. The rooms were impeccable and cleanliness to perfection with the most comfortable bed! Sky provided, spa bath and I was even given plunger coffee! Thankyou so much! Highly recommend!

K.Clean and well run lodge along the highway. I was pleasantly surprised after checking in at the rooms and comfort. The beds were very comfortable. The in room heater and fan was also convenient.
B.Very clean. Warm. All that is required in a motel. Parking space is at a premium.
M.Certainly the best motel we've ever stayed at. The room was large with a very modern kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. The upper floor rooms offer a good amount of privacy which can be rare in motels.
There's also free WiFi, and reasonably priced continental breakfasts at $10 another rarity in hotels/motels. A nice little touch is providing free freshly ground coffee for you to use.
W.The best bed I've slept in at a hotel ever. Nice and warm with great Sky options on the TV. Only real problem I found is that, due being single-handed and facing the road, my room could be quite loud at times.

B.I stay away a lot for work and we holiday often. Great modern rooms, ours had two TV both with sky tv. Was great for us and our two young boys as we had a seperate bedroom.
S.This place was excellent. Clean and homely. The owner was friendly and helpful. He even stored our frozen goods for travel the next day. Will definitely stay here again
G.Brian and his wife made my 12 day stay a very comfortable one right from the start.My upstairs room (#10) was very nice and extremely clean and easy to get around in.The bed was super comfy n large and the shower of similar proportions n always plenty of hot water.Cooking facilities are in the room with a twin cook top and modern microwave oven.An under bench fridge is ample enough to store your goodies and comes also with a small freezer compartment.Everything is supplied and in a long stay changed at regular intervals ... the website says 4 plus stars but i would give it a 5 star rating......Its 5 minutes walk to Braemar Hospital and 8/10 to Waikato.Two dairies are within 5 minutes plus food shops but being under covid-19 restrictions these werent open ... even though in lockdown i managed my stay reasonably well with the 24 hour wifi and 50 channel SKY tv

P.Luxury hotel isn't correct, it is a comfortable motel. Very friendly service where the owner cheerfully drove my 86-year-old mother around the corner to the hospital, I recommend this motel but to be fair, would call it comfortable rather than luxury,
S.Great Motor Inn, comfortable bed. Bronny at reception will sort out, with reference of what to visit around the local area, and what to eat. Need a meal in the city, don't drive, Murray (Casino Courtesy Bus) will pick you up, return you at the end of the night (for free). Just see Bronny at reception.
Rooms huge and looks like they have been recently updated. Very functional and tidy. We look foward to visiting the Astor again, in the near future.
