M.This motel's facilities are the worst I've even seen. My daughter and I paid $780 for a studio spa unit. We planned to stay for four days to finish our trip in Hamilton. However, we only stayed for 5 hrs before leaving and require Booking.com for the refund.
Reasons:
-The pillowcase washed but stained and smelly.
- The bed sheet and cover were dirty. When my daughter was in the sheets tiny bags crawling all over her biting my kid. Terrible. Unable to sleep at all.
-About a dozen huge cockroaches all over the walls curtain kitchen, and the bathroom hundred of little ones. These really made my daughter scared and cried.
But... The male staff was fantastic and nice. I asked him what's his name. HE said he called Lawrence. This 3-star-rate was definitely for him, not for this terrible motel. Although I knew he was a Chinese and his English was not good enough, he tried his best to explain the policy and explained the nearby places clearly, such as restaurants, gas stations and banquet halls.
He was helpful, he even told me wheres the cheapest gas station nearby, although I was not very care. HE always is the best receptionist. If my company is in Hamilton, I will ask him to come to my office and be my secretary and give him more than the minimum wage. Wish Lawrence all the best.

C.I enjoyed my stay in a Studio style room. I was fortunate to be given the room for disabled use as the shower was awesome. Only five Sky channels and three of them sport, but WiFi was good enough to stream and not limited to a few hundred megabytes like other places often do. The bed was soft and linen clean.
A great place to recharge my devices and myself.
G.We have stayed here several times over the past few years. It was very surprising this time to arrive (late afternoon) to a closed office and the need to “check in” via an intercom. Not quite the “warm welcome” promised on the website. But fortunately the door key had been left under the front door mat! Never saw a reception/management person in the two days we were there. Didn’t need to check out because, by intercom, I was told the credit card used for booking had already been charged - no problem with that except the website explicitly says the payment is required at check out. Personally I don’t think it is a good idea to have nobody in the reception office most of the time. The rooms we have had in the past were exceptionally clean, but no longer. Standards have slipped. Not badly, but enough to be noticed. Don’t get me wrong, it is OK but not as good as it once was.
T.Clean, comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed my stay there. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. The front desk also helped me with several requests and went above and beyond to provide good service. My only complaint was that a neighboring guest was smoking for several days of my stay and their cigarette smoke would come into my room. This isn't the hotel's fault though.
M.It is very clean and tidy offering a traveller's basic needs. It has easy access and parking. More care could be given to the provisioning and maintenance of the units.

B.Turned up here after being transferred from the other hotel they own after a mistake on their part. The girl did a great job of organising us a room, however it was two rooms over two nights. She did the best she could. Can't say much about the manager, absolutely terrible. Avoid the other motel, Aspen Manor.
C.Mattress hard as a rock. Sink in bathroom took ages to empty, and no one around to notify of blockage. Over priced for a studio unit.

D.I recently booked several staff in separate units in this motel, while they attended a conference at the Claudelands Sports Centre. The location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk to the venue. The accommodation itself was very clean, tidy and immaculately presented. The price was very reasonable and the staff were friendly. I would definitely book here again. The staff were also very efficient when making the booking via emails back and forth. The only issue is being a bit further away from the main part of the city, but it is still only a 25 minute walk.
T.One of the best Motels that we have stayed in and we've stayed in a few, from NZ to the USA.
The wonderful welcome from the lovely receptionist who managed to get us into our unit two hours earlier than the check in time. Our unit was beautifully clean and layout was just perfect for our needs.
The location was just perfect too, with food places a 2 min walk from our unit and Claudelands Arena, which is why we were here in the first place, just down the road. We didn't have to use our vehicle once for the time we were there.
Hamilton Central is just a 6 min drive away. We caught a cab there and back and just cost $12 both ways.
So if you want to escape for a weekend, keep this place in mind. We wll definitely be back again,
E.We booked out most of the Brooklyn Motor Lodge for a large event recently. Jane was exceptionally helpful to our office and especially to the guests. They were each very impressed with the rooms and the hospitality shown to each of them over the weekend. We will certainly be recommending the Brooklyn to our people again!
D.Room was good, clean and well furnished, the WiFi was spotty and frequently cut out, and there was no staff present when we went to check in or out
L.Unit was ok but hard to find a place to park, doesn't seem to have a designated space for each unit.
l.Absolutely excellent customer service and room has everything you need. You can also cook if you want to. All the pots and pans are provided. Wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone. Wow 5 stars.
