Only grizzle and that is that the other people where noisy in the rooms at 12 am...but that is not the owners fault at all. All my 2 day stay here wasn't to bad at all. I had a room with a spa...didn't get a chance to try it..but the shower was oh so good....

T.Awesome stay and some of the most accommodating staff I've seen. Made a mistake with our booking and booked two weeks too late. The staff fixed it for us with no hassles and were able to accommodate three of us with a room and a extra bed. Clean rooms and good facilities. Would definitely stay again.
D.I think this place only deserves a 3 star rating. It's comfortable and relaxing but starting to get a tad run down. Shower and bathroom areas are showing signs of age. The street noise better subside a little tonight. Top floor on facing the street I am thinking is not the best for traffic noise. Kitchen facilities are tidy but again dated and showing signs of age. Beds look good. Nice amount of furniture with TV in lounge area and bedroom. Parking on site is great. I think if I was paying any more I'd be highly disappointed for sure. But a very spacious unit without jamming stuff in fit. Good layout let's just hope they spend some money soon to bring this place up.

C.Very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived late in the afternoon and were lucky enough to get a room. We are a family of four 2 adults and 2 children (aged 5 and 1) it was superb for us. I reccomend staying at camelot-rooms are above basic, but nothing too flash, tidy and a great location, perfect for families. Thank you camelot- we will be back again and will reccomend to others

A.Great young lady at reception and super helpful. A few things needed cleaning, mold in shower, spider and it's webs. Broken furniture and the owner wasn't overly worried about it. No extraction fan in the kitchen.
Good size tv's and sky on both. Central to town a bonus and not noisy.

C.Unit was clean. Shower was really good. Unit had really good air on. Comfortable bed. 42" tv with a good range of sky channels. Decent wifi. And I was given enough milk for a few cupspas and breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
H.Really good value for money, the other reivews are a bit harsh to be honest, by all means a little bit aged, a bit noisy, but that adds to the character, we stayed on Easter weekend so it was packed!! And still not to loud. And they have real milk in the fridge! Not the UHT rubbish others have.

Receptionist when we checked in and I'm not sure if it was the owner, but the guy on check out were a pleasure dealing with, made checkin/out easy and fast.
Only thing was the side tables in the room, bit high so you whack your elbows if youre sitting up in bed. Otherwise comfy, relaxing, clean rooms.
Definitely worth a weekend away.

We used to come here a lot before moving overseas..now we are back in NZ and it is reassuring to know that we can come here again. A lot of accommodation places are tired and in need of a good clean. T.Worth the price, facilities such as oven, spa, and bed were good. Spacious and clean (although I found some stains from the bed cover). Very quiet and quite central location from Hamilton city centre.
C.Large, comfortable rooms with great AC. Very neat and clean. Great curtains, blocks out all sunlight so you could sleep in quite easily. Parking in front of your room. Large bathrooms with either a shower (with great pressure) or a spa bath. There is a swimming pool on site and unlimited wifi. Very very nice.

S.They have a very big room. The toilet is separated with bathroom which is kinda awesome foe a big family, one can use shower and the other can still use the toilet. The receptionist is kinda busy when we came, but she is very kind and welcome us kindly.
C.Nice size room. There’s upstairs and downstairs so state if you can’t handle stairs. Nice touches: real milk, real coffee and plunger, plenty of power points, free parking, excellent shower. Air conditioning. Friendly staff and free WiFi a plus.

H.Everything was clean except the dining table that was not very clean with streaks of oily looking layer on the glass table. The room smelled of Indian curry, probably left behind by the previous tenant, that took me a while to get used to. Bed was comfortable. The toilet looked newly renovated but the kitchen seemed pretty old. The ventilator wasn't working and the dining chairs sinks in when sat on. Overall decent room but could be better. 😊
B.I would rate it as average motel, 2.5/5, room was clean. But the window blinds on the bathroom ceiling was dirty and looked like mold, which should be immediately addressed. The walls are super thin. Has kitchen and utensils.Hotel provided a small bottle of milk.beds were average. Parking was parallel for us but was fine.
S.I've been here three or four times now and I am never disappointed. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Location is handy and easy to navigate around. Spa baths are delicious. Previously had rated 5 stars, however the man behind the counter during our last visit was less than friendly.

T.Room upstairs was nice but it was really loud. Could always hear people walking and talking at all hours. The ground floor 2 to 3 bedroom units are amazing though. Really modern and comfy. Great for families.

Definitely will be checking in again that's for sure next time we in Hamilton. Best to ring Camelot direct to ensure booking as 3rd party bookings may cause lil confusion. Place is Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay there.

T.Good for our short stay. Drove from wlg to hamilton for work then had to drive back next day so coffee was our best friend. When leaving, we put the wrong key in dropbox didnt we. At 530am. Matt answered the phone, and accommodated our mistake with a smile. Thanks for having us.
G.Extremely comfortable beds, in quiete, large, and we'll appointed rooms. Bathrooms and clean and modern. There is a pool to relax in after a long drive. Owners very polite and helpful. Would stay again.

Price was more than fair, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the room, and really enjoyed the cooked breakfast. About 30 minutes walk from Hamilton central. Would definitely stay here again.

T.Allegedly has free wifi that doesn't ever seem to actually work. Glad we were only there for 1 night. Beds were not too uncomfortable though so not too bad for a cheap place to stay.
M.It looked like the place was recently renovated. Couple if issues here and there but no major, like the ironing board that was broken and the unopened milk in the fridge that was past due date which I presume was left from the previous tenant. The staff were great and very friendly
J.Unit in disrepair with table legs damaged, glass top also. Bathroom hand towel holder damaged and dirty stain on skirting board. Shower dome makes for sauna while showering. Good size tv and comfortable bed
M.My husband and I stayed for two nights here over Christmas holidays on our way to Rotorua. Upon arrival I was concerned as the sliding glass entry to our unit faced the parking lot, but surprisingly, it was very quiet though the hotel was full. The unit was very tidy and spacious and to our liking with a kitchen bonus. The best part of our stay was how gracious the owners were with their time. We had a problem with our navigator so needed very good and precise directions to everywhere as we were still going through the shock of driving under very opposite conditions on the roads and in the car. The owner had an amazing computer system and even helped us map out the route for our next travel leg. In the States we are used to having ice machines at the hotels for our ice chests and she also provided us with some when we left. The internet in the room was the best of all our hotel stays. I wished the pool was heated as I am an avid exerciser, but guess you cannot have it all. I would recommend the place for a reasonably priced, clean environment with a helpful and friendly atmosphere.

G.Clean tidy room bed was super comfortable the only downside was noisy drunk neighbours a guy took our outside chair he vomited outside our room and was banging into the door scaring my daughter called the manager he came and asked the people to move along however they continued to be disruptive maybe next time they should consider calling police to have them removed otherwise everything else was great
