L.This Motel has character in spades and the outside facade is very beautiful, the owners have let the outside landscaping go to shambles and certainly needs a tad bit of love to fix that. The rooms are well maintain for an Emergency housing Motel few stains on carpets slight ants problem but everything else seems tip top shape for a motel from its era
H.Not the owners fault, but boy oh boy was there some noise coming through from guests on floor above until 3.30am..walk in shower probably needs maintenance as floor slopeing down near plug. Not good for shower stool as requested but didnt have one. Bed was clean and comfy. The room needs maintenance walls etc.
s.Staff are cool, room service not so great, close to town and bars lol.
W.Athough this Motel is an older one it has everything that anyone would need. We personally felt very much at home. An added plus was the shelf in the bathroom (somewhere to put your personal items on), also in the kitchen a shelf to put things on. Nice warm motel, very handy to Hospital and such a bonus to have a shuttle service running from Motel to Hospital and return several times a day. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Also highly recommend the home cooked meals - very reasonably priced and very tasty!
T.Awesome. We always choose to stay here. The hosts r always friendly and respectful. I love the seafood mornay and apple pie. That was the only disappointment this time round. However still an awesome stay. Clean and spotless.
D.This place is called the Colonial, dating from the 1920's. I don't think it's been refurbed since then either. It has the look and feel of a room in a masonic museum staged and preserved to allow people to get a feel for what things were like in this era. If that's the experience you're after, then can highly recommend. If cheap and basic is what you're after it won't disappoint either. So no complaints, as it served its purpose. 🌝

R.The host are so friendly its really clean and tidy lovely outlook too would recommend to anybody visiting hamilton and also just around the corner is the city centre and also not far from the hamilton lake domain
J.We had a nice big room...however house keeping ignored vacuuming our room so I had to ask for the vacuum and do it myself
R.Ive really enjoyed my stay close to the city supermarket comfortable rooms very friendly staff I will deffnatly stay again it has wheel chair access 2 minute walk to the lake
S.We visited our daughter, who is staying there while our grandson was in Waikato hospital. Seemed like a nice, serviceable unit and it's very convenient to the hospital

P.Too close to the street shower was leaking couldn't get to sleep because of the traffic close to our room I wouldn't recommend it I must say what 2 you want for $50 night an annoying road works during the day
