L.Great value for money, and all hotel staff from front desk to housekeeping were fantastic - very friendly and welcoming. Comfy beds, and nice and clean. Some of the one bedroom units could do with an update, but overall it was a nice play to stay, in a handy location.
J.My family really enjoyed our stay here. Very tidy facilities and friendly staff. We certainly had lots of fun in the pool and the hot tub was a relaxing way to end the day. Well done all staff at the hotel!

Unfortunately for the price you pay, there are no cooking facilities and the bigger rooms had no Aircon except for these little piss-poor fans that even on 3 you couldn't feel anything from them at 1m away from fan....

F.We had a one night stay late December on the 4th floor. Room was very comfortable and clean and the staff helpful and friendly. We didn't partake of the hotel breakfast so can't comment on that. A couple of plates and some cutlery would be helpful.

At our check in we were told our room was not ready yet (this was half hour after check in time) then we asked the staff at the reception if they could make up the extra time they were having to finish cleaning our room on the check out. That would mean another 30 min extra on our check-out, which we think would be fair enough. The staff started to ironic laugh and said: Happy New Year! Like that was too much to ask. Very embarassing.
w.Absolutely loved my stay at Heartland Ambassador Hotel friendly stuff nice view from the 2nd floor outside my room on the balcony safe swimming area. Comfortable beds and so peaceful at night,definitely will be checking in again 😊

A.Great stay! We had a large group booking and the staff were so great in helping organise our stay in advance. Buffet breakfast was great and really easy. Comfortable beds and plenty of space in the rooms. Front desk staff were super helpful. Highly recommend.

L.My partner and I are low income with a special needs kid we desperately needed a night to regroup out of the house. This place was exactly what we needed the staff were extremely friendly loved the spa and tub access to relax the beds were very comfy and clean. No issues with the wifi. My only complaint was the location in town. The complimentary breakfast was delicious I felt we got what we paid for and then some. When we can afford it and need to we would like to go back

I.A great central location, directly opposite Pak'nSave supermarket. The room was more spacious than we anticipated (with a divider separating the double bed from the area with 2 single beds) and everything was clean and tidy. The spa pool is a great place to unwind at the end of the day. Staff were great and we will happily stay here again.
P.Good location for a quick visit through Hamilton. Rooms are clean and well organised, staff were friendly and the location is very central. Room was very tidy and well stocked. Good for business travellers or those looking for a weekend stay.

A.There a two things I mark this hotel down for. One is for the extremely noisy extractor fans which fun all the time in the bathroom from 6am to 10pm. The other is the road noise. If you are on the pool side its ok but if you are on the other side you constantly here boy racers all night. Bring ear plugs if going to stay here
D.We only stayed a night so price was important. Price was good. Service was excellent. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom was a little rundown but clean. Breakfast was delicious with excellent service. Staff were all so professional. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again
J.Stayed here for the week and was very well looked after by the man at the front desk. Any problems or concerns were dealt with swiftly and the receptionists were very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable as the room was spotless. One small improvement could be having a microwave in the room. Will definitely be staying next time I am in Hamilton.
J.Stayed here for new years eve and luckily got there at 8pm before last checkin. After camping and travelling it was a dream to have a nice, clean and very comfortable bed. Both ladies at the reception (afternoon and morning) were friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean and spacious for the 4 of us. Nice pool and has a spa pool. A family stayed in the spa pool for a good hour before closing so my kids couldn't really get in and enjoy it but nevermind. The rooms itself was quiet on new years which was awesome. We received 2 20gb of free wifi for our family which is more than enough and with paknsave and kfc right opposite we had our night sorted without having to look any further. There is a good range of Sky Tv channels. A couple things that wasn't the best was a dirty/sticky teaspoon with the other spoons (nothing major). Just over a half of roll of toilet paper for the 4 of us didn't quite cut it so it would have been good to have a backup roll there. Also when I booked, the rooms said they were on the 3rd and 4th level so we would get a balcony but we were on the ground level. It was handy though as we parked our vehicle right outside our door but a balcony would be nice. And there was a few smoke butts and bottle caps outside our door. Just little things which weren't major. We still enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again the next time we pass through hamilton. Oh the price was also very good!

C.Nice place to stay, well located. Though we had the most unusual experience with the lady who checked us in. Made us feel VERY unwelcome. Made it clear if there was any noise from our room we would be kicked out. I was travelling in a group of 4 for a work meeting. There was no indication that we would be making any noise. Even a comment of "have fun, but not too much". A very odd and very cold welcome.
S.Only stayed for two nights and the price was right. Close to immediate services such groceries shop, restaurants, cafes and city centre. Room was spacious and clean. We stayed in tower block and it was very noisy. Lots of bangs and not being able to turn off the bathroom fan which came on at 6am and then stayed on till after 11pm.
C.Spacious, clean and comfortable however more attention needs around maintenance, room phone not working including one light in the room, and toilet didn't flush properly, needs fixing

It's was only spring but warm enough to be swimming every morn. The friendly Staff couldn't have been more accommodating. And the lady that did the breakfast was just beyond helpful. Would 100% stay here again.

S.Nice clean spacious rooms. The lift in the tower is functional but it seems to come from the last century lol. Every time it moves everyone can hear it. The bathroom is also functional but desperately in need of renovation. Overall I'm satisfied with the Motel given the money I paid for.
T.Great location, very convenient. Bed linen is very clean, great value for money. Only downside is outdated facilities (on motel side) and stairs and rails are quite dangerous.
C.The room was clean and crisp looking. We had a nice outdoor balcony and a wall of windows/doors. The television was mounted on the wall so you could direct it toward either bed. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great. I didn't try the pool but it looked well maintained.
T.My wife and I stayed here for a weekend recently and were impressed with the standard of accommodation for the price that we paid. A must as part of your stay is a meal at the very special retrospect cafe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool complex looked good just too cold to use at the time.
D.Booked this as a last minute option when there was very little available. Was cheapish & really didn't expect much. Receptionist was quiet, and only spoke when spoken to, the hall ways & elevator felt a bit like an old hostel but once in the room it was great! Ordered breakfast off menu which I was better than average too.

D.One of my favourite Hotels in Hamilton. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and there were a few times that we were upgraded to a bigger room, which is a huge bonus.
The pool is well maintained, and the Spa is nice and hot (one of the main reasons we keep coming back)
The location is also quite convenient, with easy access to a large supermarket, a gas station, and many food places such as KFC and The Cheesecake Factory.

T.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Perfect for families, especially for children given it has a pool and is reasonably affordable. Like the fact that it seems central to everything. The pillows were also a favourite. Would highly recommend.
A.What a little hidden treasure. We stayed in a large, clean luxurious room with the most comfortable bed ever. Having modern kitchen facilities was a godsend with two perpetually hungry young boys. The pool was perfect too, we were able to lounge on the super-comfortable outdoor furnishings while our boys tired themselves out. The Ambassador was the perfect base for our exciting excursions to the markets and the absolutely stunning Hamilton Gardens, which were in full bloom when we visited. Can't wait to get back, and neither can our kids. Service was friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff.
l.Rooms are good, nice balcony and comfy bed, sky TV, 20GB internet per night, has somebody at reception 24hrs, pool and spa. Loved the big breakfast plate from the restaurant, having the baked beans balances put the fried food on the plate. 👍

P.A bit average. We booked more expensive studio room but nothing flash. Quite a bit of road noise but bed was OK.
R.I was very impressed by the local knowledge of the staff. They pointed us in the right direction for all of our questions. The staff were pleasant and professional. The room was clean and well looked after. Staff offered to phone a taxi for us when we mentioned we were going out for dinner. All up, very impressed!!

Situated between 2 main roads actually wasn't that noisy. Lovely pool and spa outside. We stayed in room 225 in the tower beds very comfortable and like that this place has sky channels not just freeview channels.
My only criticism bathroom very small and would suggest you have a bottle of water on hand to fill the kettle. Doesn't seem hygienic to fill the kettle in the bathroom. Maybe that's something the Hotel could provide. It is in a great location. Pak n Save right across the road.

T.Check in okay and room itself was fine on an upper floor of the tower block. Staff at the hotel are very good with a service focus approach to your stay. All the staff were so friendly and the setting would be pefect with the swimming pool, spa and restaurant all on site.
T.I held a baby shower at the Ambassador's Cube Lounge last weekend and the whole experience was fantastic. The laundry facility is nice and we had a key so I felt safe to put a load in and not have to sit there. Restaurant just across the road by the supermarket.
P.Was very good for the price. Clean and had everything we needed. The spa was a bonus. Bathroom and kitchen dated but still worth the money. Would stay again family of 4.
E.Very clean and well maintained, though a couple of formerly white walls in our room could use a touch-up. Also, it was raining - and the roof amplified it so much, I had to check the weather prognosis, plain rain sounded like a tornado or something equally extreme! Wifi would not allow to use the same login/password from multiple devices simultaneously - huge drawback.

T.We found this hotel very convenient and quiet on our stay in Hamilton. As we were here for a company social event the hotel was very conveniently located for us. There is no guest co****dium, took a long time to locate the laundry even with vague instructions from the front desk.

T.Local to everything esp coming out if town with kids to a claudelands arena event. Very central. Staff were actually very friendly and accommodating as well. We arrived with 2 hungry kids and thr kitchen was closed but they made us food anyway and delivered it to the room which isn't in the same building as the restaurant. That was really awesome.
