L.I have been here 2 nights in a dorm. I was alone in the dorm both nights. Therefore it was always quite. The room was nice and cozy. Everything was clean. The shower was super nice even though it was really small (not the height). The kitchen was also a little small and could use some improvements but there was everything you needed. It wasn't the cleanest kitchen but definitely clean enough to use. I have no idea how things change there when it's full house but I would definitely go back here if I should ever visit Hamilton as a backpacker again. (It is also in a pretty good location I explored Hamilton by foot and had no problem!)
K.I've got room on the top floor at the back of the hotel. I'm really impressed by the ability of the owner in putting all amenities to fit in this room. All you need is right there at once. My double bed is a little bit smaller than I thought but it's OK. The shower and bathub are nice. TV, fridge, and microwave oven work well. Parking space is quite sufficient both in front, on the left side, and at the back. Located on Victoria street where there are shops and restaurants. All in all, this is one of good hotels in Hamilton.
e.The property manager here is the coolest cat Karim. Genuinely cares for all the people that come through and stay in here.
V.We stayed in a double bed ensuite room. It has an AC, TV, microwave, toaster, water heater jug and mini fridge. The bed was comfortable. The room was smelly (mushy kind of smell) and noisy. Bathtub (without plug) was dirty.
M.Easy check-in, cozy rooms. A shower with hot water, free and fast WiFi within the rooms and kitchen. The owner let me stay a bit longer, so, I could wait for my bus at hostel. Recommended if you want to check out Hamilton for one or two days.
F.Microtel Backpackers is a beautiful place to stay, the manager he's marvelous, the tenants they welcome wat every race you are, they are like one happy family they even look after you and make you feel welcome,
L.It's small and cosy which is reflected in the price. A communal kitchen is a social get together and it's feels homely. Not too bad at all, close to pak n save and city centre.
A.We visited in 2014 when we first arrived in nz. It was cheap. Bedbug or something was there that cause ref spots on all over the legs at that time. Hoping its not the issue anymore.

The kitchen is kinda small, but it perfectly works!
The room was clean and also quite big.
