D.Rustic older style rooms but well kept. There is a camping style cook house which has your basic cooking facilities - all you need is your food. Not too bad as its situated opposite Mystery Creek.
j.Did a overnight stay. 9.2 rating on Booking.com however I am not satisfied with the cleanliness especially towels and the utilities provided in common cooking areas.The plus point is they have good aircons in room which helps stay cool on summer night’s. Also wifi is terrible
M.If you need a place with plenty of room, this is the place. We have a family of four and it was the perfect size. Also literally right by Mystery Creek.

p.Nothing every thing was perfect.
E.Extremely clean and spacious unit with everything in that you need. beautiful surroundings in a fantastic location which was close to everything. We were able to go in slightly earlier because our accommodation was ready. The owner went out of his way to make our stay pleasant even putting in a single bed for us so that we wouldn't have to share a double bed. We really appreciated it and thank you for a wonderful stay and for the extra effort made. We would definitely stay again and recommend this accomodation to others.
P.Not sure if we got the unlucky cabin but there was an infestation of cockroaches (baby ones) there was black mould in the bathroom and cobwebs . Other than that the linen etc was clean and beds were very well made. Other surfaces were well cleaned.
M.Stayed here with two friends this past weekend. Owners are so nice and could not have been more obliging to us. Although it is a bit dated, it is spotlessly clean and has the most comfortable beds.

H.For me the height of the shower could be a little lower. I also have to watch my footing in the shower. I'm too short..
p.Lovely room, heat pump was very much needed and appreciated. Owners Steph and Gary were very lovely and easy to deal with. Location was very quiet and scenic. Definitely will recommend to my friends and will be back 10/10
J.Friendly welcome from Gary who was all too happy to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They've owned it for the last 2.5 years and have really put life back into the place. Its basic but its everything you need.
Right across the road from the Mystery Creek events centre.
Our 2 bedroom family unit was spacious, beautifully clean and had everything we needed.
Shower pressure was great.
Beds were very comfy, the linens etc immaculate
We didn't use the cook house but checked it out for curiosity's sake. We found it well equipped, spotlessly clean with room for a large group of people to cook and sit to eat easily without being crowded.
LOVED the big macrocarpa tables!
Undercover BBQ available also.
Short drive to excellent eateries. We took our boys to the Golden Dragon Chinese buffet in Leamington. It was delicious, but there are a lot of options within 15 minutes drive.
Really nice little motel with owners who clearly take pride in their place and enjoy meeting their guests
Clean. Comfortable. Central. Good parking. Great amenities.
Would stay here again when coming back to the Waikato.
H.Great motel nothing fancy. Small cozy cabins with everything you would need including a mini fridge and air con, great location if you are doing a 2 day race at kartsport Hamilton.
d.Great little place, owners couldn't have been more helpful. We rocked up late at night heading north from Wellington with three tired kids - they loved the place. All slept well, had everything we need.
Shout out to Biker the dog, popular member of staff :) kids adored him.
A.Perfect for what we were looking for with the added bonus of good ole Kiwi hospitality. The air conditioning was fantastic, shower strong and hot and beds comfy. Plus, greatly appreciated the pick up and drop off from the airport. Will definitely stay again if up that way. Thank you.

When I went to sit on the throne i noticed the outside of the bowl had a lump s#!t on it, so I looked around the whole room closer and found the room to be quite disgusting. Wont be going back.
Owner/management were lovely people and I am sure they would have fixed it immediately. But I was on my way out the door.
But really they should not get into this state.
P.Cold....owner too tight to turn heating on, lack of maintenance has room looking worn. Owners too lazy to service rooms regularly means rubbish overfollows, run out of toilet paper so supply own and do cleaning self. When they do get around to servicing it's just making beds with well worn sheets and supply with fresh old towels. Only thing going for it is location....right across road from Mystery Creek.

M.If you need somewhere to stay to attend or exhibit at Mystery Creek, it's great as a short walk away. There would be no other reason to stay here. Freezing cold rooms (heating often breaks), beds with springs that have seen better days, and paper-thin foam mattresses. If that's your thing, go for it!

M.Oh my god this place is amazing we have stayed at a lot of motels over the years and some of them were very expensive but they were nothing like Mystery creek lodge we loved it there and will be going back we were greeted by a very friendly lovely gentlemen this place is so relaxing and it is situated in the best place nice and quiet lovely trees gosh what more can i say apart from this is the best place we have stayed in years Thankyou to the proprietor for a great stay
