L. M.Was in disbelief when seen the lack of cleaning done each day. Stayed 11 nights. No change of sheets.. handbasin not cleaned. It appeared that some staff didn't bother.. all staff very were very nice and friendly but the unit was very dirty in the kitchen . This was not a budget nightly rate. The room was very spacious but is not a 4.6 star rating
L. D.Dennis was very accomodating for my group of friends and I who made arrangements over the phone for multiple rooms 18 months out from the Mission concert. Very grateful and were all really impressed with the spacious rooms and facilities. Thank you so much again!
m. p.We stayed for two nights (10th & 11th January 2024). Receptionist was friendly. Rooms were clean and well maintained (thanking the housekeeping team for that). Even though the accommodation didn't have a pool, there is a big spa bath in the bathroom. Great location and within easy walking distance to shops, supermarkets, takeaways. I highly recommend staying at the claremonte motor lodge.
J. D.I highly recommend staying at the Claremonte in Hastings ! The rooms are well equipped with essentials for cooking if you don’t like takeaways. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and the owners are super friendly and welcoming.
The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean! I stayed with my partner and his work mates whilst they worked on the bridges post cyclone. The shower pressure is absolutely amazing !! And there was a giant spa bath in our room. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were oh so soft ! The SKY TV was a bonus, lots of great movies ! The Claremonte is within close proximity (walking distance) to plenty of eateries and fast food restaurants. Pak n save is handy for any essential topups. The security cameras also add a sense of safety as well.
E. M.We spent 4 nights here - the room was spotlessly clean and tidy, modern and updated. Beds were lovely and comfortable.
There were 2 tvs in the unit and air conditioning. Management and staff were so friendly and helpful. Guest laundry was a real bonus. While it is central, we found it to be quiet and there was no noise at all from adjoining units.
M.Stopped off at Yummy Mummys cheesecake shop due to passing through Woodville to pick up some for the owner. We were happy to do that for him.
Absolutely pleased with this motor lodge. The owner was extremely pleasant, friendly and also had a laugh with us.
The rooms were very clean, welcoming and the beds were awesum!

P. R.I was traveling for work, I started work at 0700, so I was out by 0645 at the latest. Sky movies, Discovery Channel were available, nice king size beds and aircon units that work. Good pressure in the shower. Unfortunately, I was in unit 4 near the front, and there was road works at night. I felt sorry for the front units ! At least they had small bottles of actual milk you could ask for at recption. Quite nice actually. Very central location, lots of food around and a Pak n Save nearby too.

V. L.The accommodation we originally booked was awful. We and there were 10 of us decided to go elsewhere. We found the Claremont. We were all there for a funeral. They prepared all our rooms and we could check in early. That is exceptional service. I highly recommend this motor lodge.

K. K.Clean and tidy room with well equipped kitchen. Only downside was lots of gardens very close to kitchen and bathroom window so had to keep these shut in case of insects. Room does have air conditioning though.

Y. t. c.We stayed here with family friends, the place is big enough, have kitchenette, small balcony at the back, got spa inside the toilet, if you want to do your laundry it is just located near the reception. The beds, pillows, mattresses and blankets look new. The location is walkable to everything - shops, restaurants, cafes...
c. p.No way of cooking( no hot plates), the bed was on rollers which meant every time I moved the bed moved away from the wall. Also came out of the toilet to find the manager standing there saying didn't know I had already checked in and was there to turn the heater on which was a nice touch but he should've known I was already checked in.

Comfortable and central and had all we needed but quiet. There are also no places to have a good meal closeby.
The morning after the first night we were woken at 0428 by someone building/sanding next door! The following morning we were woken by a house alarm.
So I am not sure they have double glazing for noise control.
Otherwise it was ok.
