R. L.Excellent. Although the motel is older style, the place has been renovated with excellent facilities e'g new showers, toilets, bathroom, carpets, beds etc. The supplied teas/coffees/biscuits were generous and good quality.
The beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The motel is on the main road but traffic noise was minimal.
The owners were very friendly & helpful. I noticed they looked us in the eyes when they spoke with us, rather than just treating us a passing supplier of revenue!
Well done. We'll stay with you again

Internet was a bit slow since our room was on far end.
T. A.Spotless beautiful environment. Pool was a luxury after a long drive. Manager was very cheerful and helpful with providing instructions and directions. Love our unit. Shops and restaurant are within reach. Will certainly choose this place in the future :)

I would have given it 5 stars if we didn't have to pay extra 20 dollers per night to use the bed that was already in the room, since there was no surcharge mention for bringing children on the booking advertisement. I asked the guy at reception how come you want to charge me for a bed that is already in the room and i booked the room as deluxe studio which means two beds. And he replied i have to wash the sheets aftet you leave. So apparently he will wash the sheets worth 40 dollers.
It is not a backpackers accommodation, we were not supposed to be charged by the bed.
G. F.Rooms very hot no cooling at all. Ceiling fan didnt work. And curtains were not thermal to block heat out. Pool was unusable during a summer weekend!!!!

J.This place is nice and tidy. They dont have rice cooker but they do have pan for cooking and other kitchen utensils. Take note, if you are staying for 2 or more nights it is morelikely that they will not wash your dishes and make your bed for you during peak hours. They have a common mini pool at the back but we didnt get a chance to use it due to time constraint. This place is way better than the tolaga bay inn which i dont recommend unless you dont have any options. BTW this place is near to countdown.

A. E.If you are travelling this is a great place to stop. Great rooms, with everything you need, close to eateries, shops and only a shot stop to the centre of the action.
