D.The proprietors of the motel are positively lovely people who go above and beyond to be helpful.
The rooms are extremely well maintained and the chattels are in good order. Most notably, the carpets appear to be brand new with excellent underlay.
The establishment is very well situated, in close proximity to several amenities including supermarkets, eateries and various activities.
We’ve also put up our employees here a few times in the past and their feedback has been very positive too.
Pricing is also very reasonable.
R.My stay here was excellent. I had stayed in a few places in Hastings before finding long-term accommodation and Gloucester House Motels was the best. The owners are friendly and most helpful. The rooms are clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to all the supermarkets, restaurants, gyms and town centre. Highly recommended!

n.looks like nice place to stay, not sure of rates but the Asian lady at reception is really friendly . Bryan the owner is a easy going dude too I just hope he takes my advice and gets the roof treatment done by us at Moss Crew HB to rid his roofs from the fungi damage and bird acid up there. I've emailed him about it , it will save him thousands! Il change my rating when I actually stay there sometime 😊
T.We love staying at this motel when visiting Hastings. This was our 6th stay and this time we had the 2 bedroom apartment. Loved the room (Rm 11). All the rooms we have stayed in over the years have been awesome. Fiona and Brian are so accommodating and super friendly.

E.Absolutely wonderful people, the rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. Only 1 tiny thing, We did ask them not to clean until we were leaving (2 night stay) but they came in anyway. They didn't touch any of our things apart from to make the bed that we left clean clothes strewn over. Very pleased with our stay.
l.What a lovely motel! Very spacious room with all we needed to enjoy a stress free family holiday. Friendly helpful managers made us feel right at home. Would recommend Gloucester house motel to everyone.
J.Hosts were wonderful. Very thoughtful. The Club was OK but not for older folk. Menu was bar food BUT it was nicely presented. Reminded me of the RSL clubs in Australia.

We loved the pool, late night swim, comfortable beds, good size bathroom with separate toilet. Kitchenette with everything, lounge area and BEST of all Air Con. It also has spacious secure parking and to top it all - friendly staff! We will always recommended this motel. Thanks for our welcoming stay.
G.What a great Motel to stay at there was 10 of us we booked out 1 x 2 bedroom and 1 x bedroom unit and we must say this Motel was excellent in every aspect of service, spotless units and excellent amenities. We stayed 7 days and couldn't falter anything. Value for money 10/10. We will be back. Thank you Brian and Fiona the best Hosts.

A.It was okay. Not a place I would choose to stay at again, and probably wouldn't recommend to any friends.
The location was great, the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and the pool was very refreshing. All enough to make it a fine stay. However, the noise level in the room was very disturbing - both from the hot water cylinder making loud hissing noises in the early hours of the morning (was wondering if it served the whole block of rooms) and the sheer noise from other guests. Also, the blinds in the room kept out no light at all - great for the day, not so good when there's a street light right outside.

L.This is an excellent motel. The hosts are accommodating and welcoming couple (Brian and Fiona). They will attend to your needs straight away without any question asks. Their room is superb: very clean, smells good, and all your needs are within arm reach. Quiet , secured place. The motel are very close to supermarket (Countdown, Pak n Save), KMart and other small shops. Also, walking distance from restaurants. Six minutes drive only to Splash Planet. Gloucester House Motel in Hastings is highly recommended. We will definitely stay again to Gloucester House Motel on our next visit to Hasting.
W.First it was a warm and friendly atmosphere and a great loving couple who owns it. The warm sunshine weather was great in Hastings. Very close to the huge centre with amazing shops, restaurants and bars and its superb location. Very beautiful. I loved it.
e.Small clean and tidy units perfect for mum dad and the kids.there's even a pool for a nice soak which is perfect on those hot Hawkes Bay summer days. Close to all amenities too

P.We had two units - Unit 1 & Unit 11 during the week of Te Matatini last week - 20th-27th February....what a fabulous experience. Brian the proprietor although quiet was hospitable and able to cater to all our requests. The rooms were roomy and suited our needs. If and when we are back in Hastings we will definitely be using these services again. Thanks Brian for the amazing experience.

T.Walk to 2 supermarkets, fastfood places and the centre of town. Liquor wholesalers around the corner, brilliant central location. Rooms are spotless, has wifi and pool (essential in the summer). But the best part? One of the most inexpensive motels in any city I have been to.
