S.Stay here instead of anywhere in Hamilton! Beautiful old building run by friendly staff at incredibly reasonable prices for the size and comfort of the rooms. Always quiet and peaceful. Great amenities, particularly in the deluxe rooms/suites which come with four-post beds and massive spa baths.
I truly cannot recommend it enough as a base for staying between Waikato activities like Zealong or Hobbiton, or as a great stop heading farther north or south. Have been twice and will come again!
Only possible downside: wifi can be weak in some rooms if you’re really needing it for streaming or video calling or something. Perfectly fine for normal use, though!
Should also mention: honestly one of the best hotel information folders I’ve seen anywhere in the world.
L.Gideon the host was extremely nice. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about this historical building which offers a great sleep and good amenities. It is set in lovely grounds and not far from some beautiful local spots which i enjoyed visiting.

W.Such a beautiful place with incredibly polite and friendly staff. Definitely well worth a visit and perhaps the best place to stay in Huntly. Very comfortable and well set out accommodation with an amazing cooked breakfast. A real gem in a beautiful historic building.
W.After having nursed in this building for many years when it was a Maternity Hospital, it was a great delight to go back and stay for a night and reminace and see the changes and the things that have been kept. We had a wonderful 4 poster bed, nice kitchenette, large bathroom, suitable for a wheelchair guest. A big thank you to our host, who allowed me to look around and remembering all the great times, that were had.
Please, if you are passing through Huntly, take a rest stop and book into the amazing Accommodation.

C.Manor views took us in at very short notice & to my utmost relief upgraded us immediately when a very minor issue arose. I was particularly grateful as I have bad arthritis and the fittings all very user friendly. It is situated in the nicer part of town, which is a must if you need to stay in Huntly. Bedding is very nice.
K.Well worth the stay! Friendly, helpful hosts. Manor Views has a really nice vibe. I'd highly recommend staying in the Water Tower suite. It has a huge spa bath!
T.It looked like we were walking through a haunted house aka spookers upon arrival. I was concerned that it would be really cold when it got dark. 4 of us stayed in the "1 bedroom apartment ". 2 queen beds were in open plan areas and 2 single beds inside a room. After we settled in and staying one night we all found it to be well insulated, cosy and warm. The beds were super comfortable and the shower had soothing & perfect water pressure. You have necessary facilities and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend the same room to others(smaller rooms may be different) and it was an enjoyable stay.

V.Stayed in the King suite which was really nice and got great views. The building and gardens are nice. Feels a bit creepy that it used to be a hospital, but overall would recommend it 👌

E.We had a few things to do in Te kauwhata only place of 4/5 star was the manor in Huntly. Beautiful clean historic motel. Recommend to all quiet great service.
E.Awesome views. Awesome rooms. Still waiting on meal so might edit this later on. They were renovating last time I visited a couple years ago and wow. I thought menu was a bit steep on prices considering they have a lot of places to grab something. Poster bed this time. Spoilt much.

O.Joanna and Brent are lovely, I was one night in town and they were really helpful. Joanna told me the Manor Views story which is an old maternity that Brent restored by himself. I had great time staying there. The scenery is beautiful, it's a calm and peaceful place. Bedroom and facilities are amazing.
D.This is absolutely the place to stay if you are anywhere near Huntly. It's just a short drive from Hampton Downes. The whole place is beautifully presented and steeped in history. The owner, Gideon, couldn't be more helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs. This gentleman really knows what being a motelier is all about. We'll be staying again for certain.
