The room were clean and spacious, with all the essential amenities like a kitchenette and reliable Wi-Fi. The location was convenient, close to attractions and shops, yet quiet and peaceful. A great place to stay!

We had to book our accommodation for 3 nights at the minute for a funeral. As there were 5 of us staying, I booked the apartment. What a beautiful clean, roomy, and comfortable home we had. We had everything at our fingertips. All the staff from reception to our lovely cleaning lady were exceptional and friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for our stay, and would recommend the apartment for larger groups. Enjoyed our stay. Certainly worth 5 stars for our stay. Kathy from Hamilton

Couldn’t fault our stay. Able to accommodate our large family, very clean and friendly staff who were happy to help. Had all the gadgets we needed and the beds were clean and comfortable. Really handy location from city centre. So handy being able to use the washing machine and dryer also. We will stay here on our next visit to Invercargill, highly recommend.

An excellently located motel and a good place to rest while exploring Invercargill. There was a place for parking the car, comfortable bed and serviceable kitchenette. The balcony onto the car park is a little awkwardly small and the shower is claustrophobically small. They work but are not luxurious. Value for money is great and it is a short walk to the park or the main street of Invercargill. There are supermarkets, fast food and Transport World.

We had a really nice stay. The receptionist was very kind to gave us a free upgrade to a quiet and large room. Room was very clean and tidy. Nice and comfortable beds. Good location as well. Highly recommend.

Love this place! I have been staying here for the last 2-3yrs every month or so for work. I continue to choose to stay here as its always extremely clean, well presented and I can park my car right outside my room. It’s handy to town and the staff are very kind. Great value for money, highly recommend staying here.

Friendly reception on arrival, room clean and tidy, comfortable beds. Only downside we found were the towels slightly larger than a hand towel and very worn. Other than that stay was great.

Excellent. Service is great and friendly. Price is very good. We got our room, a studio unit and it is fantastic. Location is 5mins from down town Invercagill. Plenty of restaurants and food places. The service we got though was outstanding. We will stay here again when we come to invercagill again. If you are down this neck of the woods in your travels of New Zealand I would really recommend this motel.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN INVERCARGILL........ Always super clean and smelling fresh. Owners friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds which isn't easy to find for accommodation that us well price pointed. I've been staying here for years and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

What a great place to stay. Very clean and tidy the beds are super comfy excellent showering lots of pressure and hot water. Very friendly staff would highly recommend. Just be aware of a little road noise being on the main road, otherwise 10 out of 10.

This is quite a nice motel with large couch and two lounge chairs, and a small dining table. There was reasonable kitchen implements, a cook top and microwave. There was a separate bedroom which is always a nice feature we like to have in accommodation. My review ratings try to be consistent and very rarely allocate a 5. Any that I give a 3 rating is good and am happy to stay there again.

Stayed overnight twice. Basic motel rooms. Just by the main road, but good sound insulation as long as you keep windows closed. Unfortunately our second room had a very strong smell of disinfectant aimed at overpowering a smell from bathroom drain. Great to have one free transfer to airport, be aware that this needs to be booked a couple of days before arrival.

Very friendly staff and owner. Super comfortable bed with warm electric blanket. Kitchen with cooking and dining ware. Very clean and tidy. Unlimited free wifi! We stayed 3 nights in 3 different rooms. Loved our stay there ^_^

At the Admiral Court motel and are “welcomed” by an unhelpful Asian lady (possibly Ivy Wu, the owner?). The sign outside says there are vacancies, the motel is not full, but she insists that we must take Unit 1, which is about 10 feet away from Highway 1. She refuses to offer us another unit further away from the road because “no-one requested a quiet room. There were no special requests with this booking.” ||I turn my attention to getting a map of the city … there’s a block of them on the desk. Inadvertently, I tear off two maps, and fold them into a more useable size. Immediately, she reaches across to take them away from me and removes one copy. Really? Now the motel has a folded, creased map … which might have been useful to me when researching my travel articles back home, but is pretty useless to the motel.||There is nothing wrong the rooms (cleanliness, facilites etc.) But everywhere else across New Zealand, we found folks helpful, welcoming and full of great advice. Thus, our reception at Admiral Court really stands out.||

Our room was spotless, the beds and pillows super comfortable. The room attendant was friendly and efficient. Ivy was amazing and gave us a room upgrade. I highly recommend this motel and will return when next in Invercargill, thank you Ivy.

We had the three bedroom house. The space was great and the place was clean but the amenities let the place down. Only two burners worked on the stove. A hole in the floor in the 3 bed bedroom and the bathroom had mouldy tile grout with cheap vinyl flooring. No cabinet or vanity space in the bathroom which we found awkward to get ready with no place to put anything. The beds were terrible to sleep on and consist of single beds. So the king size bed was two twins pushed together and as a couple we felt like the bed would split in two.

We stayed there after New Year. Had a really nice stay. Friendly and helpful staff recommended a lot of things what we can do in Invercargill, and also some nice restaurants. Extremely tidy and clean unit with super comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

I am fuming. I just phoned to try arranging accommodation and I’ve honestly never been spoken to so rudely on the phone before. I would highly recommend never staying or even calling this place. ||||I phoned to ask if they had availability and she snapped at me saying "what date" and I then proceed to say and she said only 3 bedrooms left and I politely asked for the rate and it was far too much, so I declined and all she said was bye and hung up, didn’t offer a solution or an apology. I don’t know if this was the owner or a worker but I sure as hell wouldn’t want someone like that working for me, and if you were the owner, I would have thought you would care more about keeping your customers happy and encouraging them to come back and stay.

Admiral Court was it's usual level of excellence: spotlessly tidy rooms, easy to heat up, well equipped kitchen area, clean bathrooms, comfy beds, full Netflix and Youtube, and the most comfy pillows we've ever tried in our lives (we've splashed out on the odd 5 star hotel now and again and these pillows are better than that!). When we're in Invercargill we always stay here and are never disappointed. Owners are friendly as well, which really caps it off. Highly recommend.

Great value option for Invercargill! This is an older style motel room in a great location just on the edge of Invercargill's CBD. Although the motel was on a busy road, our room was reasonably quiet. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was a well equipped kitchenette. We had everything we needed - good shower, tea/coffee making facilities, WiFi and TV. This is a great value option for Invercargill and the staff are really friendly and helpful too.

Spoilt by:|1) "Welcome" which consisted of a staccato stream of commands. Also a distinct lack of interest (or engagement) when we wanted some assistance ... which resulted in us not extending our stay by another day (we went to another motel just down the road)|2) When we entered the room it smelt heavily of air freshener - we suspect an attempt to hide the fact someone had been smoking in the room||Also I was woken a couple of times, during the night, by traffic noise.||That said the room very well equipped ... there was even an induction hob, in addition to the micro-wave.

WE STAYED IN A OLDER HOUSE. BUT IT WAS GREAT 5 BEDROOM ALL WITH HEATERS. AIRCONS IN THE MAIN LOUNGEROOM AND FULL KITCHEN. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IT WAS GREAT AND IT WAS HOMELY. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OUT TOWN. THE MOTEL HAD ALOT OF SMALL UNITS AS WELL BUT WE STAYED IN THE MAIN OLD HOUSE.
