Lovely little slice of privacy in beautifully appointed gardens. Michael and Anne are great hosts and we absolutely loved our stay at the cottage

This B&B is amazing,the hosts/owners Michael & Anne offer guests a luxury style room which overlooks a beautiful garden. The guest is offered a selection of options for breakfast . I had fantastic French toast ,fruit platter the following day my wife and I had a hot breakfast beautifully cooked and presented too. Anyone who stays is treated with respect compassion and a feeling that they really care for the guest. We wouldn't hesitate to return

Beautiful and well-maintained location. We did not choose to stay in the cottage but had a very spacious room in the main house with its own step-down lounge/TV area with doors opening onto the lawn and garden. Michael and Anne were perfect hosts getting the balance right between being around but not in your face.

We found our room very private and we had a beautiful outlook onto the garden. A fantastic welcome to New Zealand We then enjoyed a lovely platter and a few glasses of wine with our hosts and had a great evening chatting about New Zealand …

Birds were chirping away in the garden when we arrived and we had a lovely afternoon nap on the comfy bed. Anne & Mike were excellent hosts and the cottage was amazing-could've stayed for a week. Mike & Anne were very warm & friendly, made us feel at home.

Our hosts were very eager to help with just about anything and always did it in a way which made us feel as though we had been friends for a long time. Wonderful hosts all the way around. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return some day.

Having arrived at the cottage and been travelling since leaving the UK on the 29th of January i can safely say this is the most comfortable and mostly homely cottage we have stayed in since our travells began. Probably the best I've seen in a private house. Definitely worth the extra couple of minutes out of town.

You really are made to feel at home and even part of the family at the lovely Beersheba Lodge. Anne was very lovely and gave us a great dinner recommendation and helped us in the morning to direct us on the best route to Dunedin. Great service n lovely couple.

Best hosts we have ever experienced. Breakfasts were excellent and different every day. We will miss Anne and Michael.

The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The cottage was beautiful, romantic and warm :) We loved the whole night!

This is a beautiful place in lovely bush surroundings. The host and hostess are very welcoming and amazing and really look after their guests with their hospitality.

Michael and Anne are passionate about meeting new people and welcoming you to their beautiful Southland. They also enjoy working with young people to help them to reach their potential.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place, immaculate grounds. Hosts are such lovely people, nothing is a problem to them.

Stayed there for 2 nights during winter. Lovely couple running the place. Very welcoming and comfortable. Would recommend for anyone visiting Invercargill.
