K.Very spacious rooms and friendly staff. Also a good restaurant across the road. Not close to the centre if you dont have a car. My only issues were the sink with separate taps for hot and cold water and the shower curtains do let water drip on the floor. Look past these and you ll be sweet.
K.Had the pleasure of staying here with our daughter in law and our two grandchildren. Our unit was spotlessly clean and couldn't fault any lack amenities we would have required.

L.Really spacious and clean. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, extra towels, pillows and blankets. Nice garden out back. Lovely woman on reception who gave us a great recommendation for brekky. Wish all motels were like this.
S.Great friendly service and affordable price. Good location, close to bar/restaurants and dairy. Laundry was free too, a bonus. Decor abit dated but well worth the stay and would stay again when in town.

I stayed at the Homestead Villa Motel for one night.
The room and surroundings were clean. The check-in was swift. The room was huge (more than I needed for a single person) and comfortable.
The heating in the room was adequate, the shower pressure excellent.
The breakfast served in the room was nice and sumptuous.
The only negative for me was that hot and cold taps are separate- no mixer, which made it hard for me.
Other than that, everything was perfect for a night’s comfortable stay.
I was in room 10.
R.Very nice place and a great price. The staff were friendly on arrival though it did take 5 minutes for them so come out to the reception.
The room we had was a one bedroom apartment upstairs and was tidy and warm. It was mostly clean except for a piece of old popcorn on the bathroom windowsill.
The room was fairly quiet even though the restaurant over the road was still very noisy at 10:30PM, was a bit of a pain when everyone left the restaurant and came back to their accommodation at 11pm they had to slam the doors.
There were lots of parking spaces when we arrived however after coming back at night there was only 1 spot left.
The garden out the back was nice though being winter, was not the most ideal time to be sitting outside!
Overall it was a good place to spend the night and wouldn’t mind staying again in future.
D.Stayed at the homestead villa Invercargill; checked in Monday; check out tomorrow. My room was very clean; comfortable with spa bath. I had breakfast and dinners at the motel. I bought lunches from the motel to take out with me. All my meals were excellent; very tasty and plentiful. Prices for meals very reasonable. The receptionist was warm; friendly full of smiles and genuine. I will definitely be back whether for work or pleasure. Thank you Homestead Villa Motel. One very happy guest.
S.The Hotel was beautifully clean and spacious. To top it off there was a guest laundry with free detergent.
Across the road is their restaraunt which has incredible food with a wide variety of choices.

A.Great value for money! We stayed the weekend before Christmas of 2020 with our 3 kids (12, 6 & 1) just for the one night. The room (2 bedroom unit) was HUGE! We got the room for $175 and you cannot beat it for value. The amenities were clean and tidy and the kids had fun in the spa bath in the bathroom. There were TV's in all of the rooms (lounge, and both bedrooms) which the kids also loved! We asked if they had a portacot during the booking process, and before we arrived the portacot had already been assembled, with blankets and sheets in our bedroom. Usually we stay at the higher end, more moderm motel/hotels, but this was unbelievable value for money and we already think we'll make time to stay here again! Thanks to the reception staff who were also very friendly with the whole process!
G.Rooms were brilliant. Very large and spacious- far from being a caged chicken motel like some others I have stayed in. Cleanliness and room maintenance was very much up to par in the room I was in so I have no issues there at all. Lady at the front was very accomodating and pleasant.
Fairly expensive room made more so by the fact that there was activities going on in Invercargill the weekend I stayed here and getting accommodation was difficult. I don’t think however room prices should be elevated because of that however which it appears they were.
S.We had a great 2 night stay here for a reasonable price. The front desk staff were very friendly and informative about the surrounding area regarding things to do and where to eat. They also gave us a small milk for tea and coffee in the room, which was much appreciated. Our room was large and quiet, the kitchenette was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the bed was large and comfortable. This motel is only a short drive from museums and other points on interest, including the 'downtown' shopping area.
P.Beautiful place, well maintained and presented. Plenty of parking, free laundry facilities and short walking distance to a pub and 2 restaurants, convenience store and petrol station.
J.I have been staying at the Homestead regulary for 19 years for business and private. I work a large geographic area therefore i stay at many motels. Homestead is the best. The staff are welcoming and always willing to cater for all of my needs. The rooms are exceptionally clean, regularly refurbished, each room is heated ready for my arrival. I always look forward to.my stay at the homestead. It is a home away from home. I have no reservations to recommend this motel. Jean Jenkins

K.Where it’s at if staying with a young family. Spacious room with kitchenette and a protected garden with a tire swing and 2 kitties (not friendly kitties but at least I can say “why don’t you go outside and find those cats?”) Complimentary laundry room!! Perfect after a long drive or flight with anyone under 12yo. Then walk across the side street to get dinner at The Ave with indoor playground and kids menu. Slides, tubes (that don’t smell like nappies), and a Sega game system. She played, we ate. Also 1 minute walk from large grassy park.
K.We love this place. Second time staying and equally good if not better. Very friendly welcome, clean tidy and spacious rooms with everything you need and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place for good value.

B.Got to stay in 3 different rooms while staying here, because of a late booking and alot going on in Invercargill at the time. Every room was big, warm, clean and tidy. I was unable to find any faults anywhere during my stay. Staff were very accommodating and made me feel very welcomed . Restaurant, TAB and bar across the road was also fantastic. Would recomend this place to anyone.

Schönes Motel mit zwei guten Restaurants direkt in der Nähe. Zimmer waren schön groß, geräumig und sauber. Frühstück war lecker und reichlich. Parkplätze direkt vorm Zimmer vorhanden. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen 🙌

Nettes Motel. Wir hatten ein großes, sauberes Zimmer mit Küchenzeile. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird am Vortag bestellt. Das Continental Breakfast kann man getrost sein lassen und lieber im Batch Cafe frühstücken gehen. Wir hatten das Frühstück für alle Übernachtungen gebucht, könnten diese aber stornieren und haben sogar den Mehrpreis zurück erstattet bekommen.
