M.Amazing 1870’s cottage set back about to 1km from main road, is a lovely addition to the main house where visitors stay. We loved the peace of the cottage - beautiful old gardens and the interior was like a time capsule. The kitchen is well equipped. We particularly loved the outside verandas in the peak of the sun.
Loved the hospitality of Lyndsay and her Italian husband Stefano. They have been welcoming guests for 30 years. We didn’t try S’s menu but it was impressive and shows their passion for looking after guests well.
This place is a real treasure and we chanced across it last minute.
e.Can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. Stefano’s homemade pasta and pancakes were so good. He was able to cater to our friends with dietary restrictions.
K.This farm stay is simply wonderful! Lyndsey welcomes you with open arms into her gorgeous kauri farmhouse, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. From there you could spend days exploring locally, I only had 2 days but can't wait to go back for longer to do the local walks and enjoy the deck and garden. Haven't had such a happy stay for a while! Totally recommend.
J.We were lucky to have 5 nights at this beautiful place just now. Lyndsey and Stefano's hospitality is wonderfully warm and welcoming. Stefano made us his excellent pizza, two of them gluten free for our coeliacs! They were delicious. Our kids would have loved to stay longer as there is plentiful to explore and we will definitely be back!!!

The extraordinary hosts turned my stay into such a special experience with the amazing rockpool walk, Stefanos enthusiasm for his Italian culture and Lyndseys kindness.The rooms in the farmhouse were beautifully decorated and reflected the history of the area. Highly recommend!
s.I totally recommend this amazing place. It was the best hotel I stayed in during my tour of New-Zealand, because of the warm and welcoming personality of the owners, as well as their lovely historical house. It's decorated with a lot of taste and very cosy.
Great bed and breakfast (and more), fabulous landscape and hikes, wonderful swim at the natural pools, lots of very enjoyable surprises (animals, games, funny dinner on the loan, etc), and delicious pizzas !!!!! A not to be missed place to go !!!!!
G.Kahoe farms. Really good place to stay! I’ve been in a lot of Hostels and this is, for sure, one of the best. The owner nice, the hostel super clean, beautiful, kitchen well prepared, warm in winter, with bathtub in the bathroom (Luxury for a backpacker!!)
They give you wifi for free which works properly and they give a book with some nice spots to visit around.
They offer tasty meals if you want.

E.Can’t fault it! Absolutely beautiful hostel; more like a home. Such good value and the most lovely hosts. I didn’t get to try the food, as I’m on a budget but the coffee was potentially the best coffee I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this hostel enough. Also really recommend the Mahinepua coastal walk!
D.The couple who run this place are just the loveliest hosts you will ever meet. We ended up spending the evening drinking and eating with them and had a fantastic time. The food was amazing (endless pizzas !) and the accommodation was excellent too. The location is beautiful - it really is a farm stay. They even have cute little Kune Kune pigs !! We will definitely stay here again !
A.I never review places unless they're amazing or terrible. This place is OUTSTANDING. So beautiful and so clean and the owners are so accommodating and friendly. It's like staying in a fancy boutique bnb with the price of a hostel. So amazingly decorated and so so cozy. So many things to do in the area and they even have their own private hike to private rock pools. Like whaaaaat?!?! Also the italian owner homemakes his own pizza for people. Just go here. You won't be sorry.

A.Just one night unfortunately but we'd love to come back. Very friendly and welcoming and everything beautifully prepared for us. We had dinner (and dessert!) and the meal Stefano made was actually better than the meal we had at a "fancy" restaurant in Whangarei

The rooms are decorated with love. You feel well received. You are either alone or with other guests. We were lucky enough to meet very nice people. Check in and check out are totally straightforward, like so much in New Zealand. You can experience and see a lot there without having to travel long distances. St. Paul's Rock is only about half an hour away. A mega experience. The climb is short and sometimes steep, but easy for everyone. For this you will be rewarded with a view that you would prefer not to descend anymore. We will be back definitely. See you .

Wir waren das 2. Mal bei Lindsey und Stefano. Die Tage dort sind nach dem langen Flug eine totale Entspannung und zum entschleunigen. Das Essen von Stefano ist mega lecker. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Man fühlt sich gut aufgenommen. Man ist entweder ganz alleine da oder mit anderen Gästen. Wir hatten das Glück sehr nette Menschen kennenzulernen. Check in und Check out sind total unkompliziert, wie so vieles in Neuseeland. Man kann dort sehr viel erleben und ansehen, ohne grosse Strecken zurückzulegen. Der St. Paul's Rock ist nur ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Ein mega Erlebnis. Der Aufstieg ist kurz und teilweise steil, aber für jeden zu schaffen. Dafür wird man mit einer Aussicht belohnt, dass man am liebsten gar nicht mdhr absteigen möchte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. See you .
