S.Brackenridge helped us set up what felt like the perfect wedding for us. It was a small occasion of 25 people but the guidance and effort put in leading up to the wedding was a big help and put our minds at ease. For the wedding itself they coordinated with all the vendors for a really smooth set up and took a lot of work off our plates while still keeping us involved with updates on their progress every step of the way. This allowed us to tend to our guests and really get to enjoy our wedding. Really nice place and cottage units as well that allowed us to have a wonderful weekend. F.Lovely peaceful spot. Cottage spacious, comfy beds but decor a little tired. Dishwasher full of dirty dishes on arrival. 🙁
It was great that we could stay with our little dog but having a neighbouring property occupied by someone with 2 large off leash Rottweilers was very unsettling. One of the Rottweilers waited and growled at us so we felt unsafe attempting to walk past to our property or sitting outside. Really think dog policy needs to be rethought as the loose Rottweilers ruined an otherwise lovely stay.
J.Brackenridge was able to set up an amazing elopement for me and my partner, our room was spacious and well equipped, the beds were huge and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and incredibly helpful, with special mention to Courtnay for organizing our elopement and to Jill for officiating our ceremony. Would highly recommend to other couples looking to elope. The package was incredibly well priced for everything we got. 10/10

O.I visited the day spa at Brackenridge and had the Just Chill package consisting of a facial and back massage which was to die for. The spa itself is a stand-alone building with multiple rooms and a lounge for pre- or post-treatment relaxation with teas and chilled water which was an extra bonus. Would visit again.

C.Stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage. Very relaxing and wonderful stay for a girls weekend away. Beds were super comfortable. Cottage was very private. Convenient to have kitchen and lounge area. We made poached eggs on toast with the eggs and delicious sourdough bread provided. They also had cereal and milk complimentary with the cottage too. Booking again same time next year.

D.Our sons wedding was held their last monday. The staff were impeccable. The venue just fantastic. Everyone was helpful and friendly. A couple of items were lost during the festivities and follow up calls received when those items were found which was most appreciated.

H.Planning a wedding from Sydney is no easy task but Courtney and the team made the whole experience super easy and made me feel at ease knowing that everything was going to come together well.The wedding day was just magical ,they did an amazing job setting everything up just beautifully. All our wedding guest were super happy and loved the accommodation . Would 1000% recommend having a wedding at the Brackenridge or even just staying a weekend away. R.Thank you for the fantastic studio room with the fireplace and bath. Such a wonderful place to celebrate our engagement. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was amazing with the fireplace and views to the south. Only small complaint would be that there is no where for the bath to drain if it overflows or if you spill water, so a lot of mopping with towels.
K.Wellington based, I often make the trip over the hill to the Day Spa. Many times I have booked in for a facial/massage and treated my mum to a pedicure. I must say for me its one for the few times I relax, utter bliss. The ladies are so kind and helpful particularly with mum who has arthritis and can find it tricky to sit on the chairs - From the moment you arrive in the lounge and sit down with a warm tea its a relaxing experience. For me trip to Martinborough wouldn't be complete with out a visit to the Brackenridge Day Spa - Definitely worth it. Also a voucher makes a wonderful treat, if you are stuck for an idea.

B.I enjoyed my stay here so much. Was a perfect night, very peaceful, the stars were out, hot tub, salt pool, beautiful studio room. We had a wonderful time. Also had a gorgeous breakfast in the morning. I would definitely visit again. Everything inside the room was beautifully clean and well designed . Thank you for our stay
C.Came in for a Signature massage and it was great. The place is clean, tidy and professional. The waiting room has comfortable seating and you can relax with tea or water before and after your appointment.
Massage was nice and the girls were lovely. The one thing I would suggest is to check before putting the AC on to cool the room mid massage. It was turned off once I mentioned I was cold but it wasnt easy to get back into that warm, cozy, relaxed state.
Constructive because I support the business: Initily the intention was to have a weekend getaway at Brackenridge, based on communication during the booking process we reluctantly went elsewhere for accommodation. We wanted a swim or spa and saw that there is complimentary access with our massage. Luckily we checked in advance, we were told that we couldn't use the pool or spa before our 9am massage because it was too early. After our massage I saw the gym flyer with the facilities hours outlined and I'm confused. Maybe it just wasn't explained very well?
B.The stay at this place is always serene, private, peaceful, scenic and awesome. Been here twice already and have stayed for 3 days. Please see the attached pictures for confirmation.

A.Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the whole Brackenridge team for such a great location, environment, food, service and just general help over the past 2 days. We all had a great time and the fact that this was arranged in a very short space of time, meant the support and organizing you did was crucial to the success of this. We had awesome experiences with the activities you also arranged – just brilliant.
T.Went for a friends wedding and the venue was amazing.Stayed onsite in one of the cottages which were tidy and well kept, nice layout and good for groups. Grounds and gardens were very well kept and the staff were very helpful. Would recommend Brakenridge for anyone that is planning an event or even just to get out of the city for a weekend. Was reasonably priced and only a 2 minute drive to Marinborough shops, cafe's and bars.

A.Really wanted to say I enjoyed it here because it is a lovely setting and lovely accommodation and have been a number of times but have noticed lately it is not as clean as one would expect. We don't wear shoes inside and wore socks and after a few hours, our socks were filthy indicating the floors were pretty dirty. There were also lots of flies buzzing around inside and although this is to be expected in a rural setting, I think the sticky surfaces on the tables etc were not helping. On the bench there were alot of ants the moment we arrived and after wiping the surface down, they didn't return. Wished the cleaners had done this. Wished they would ask for feedback at the end of the visit. Please improve your cleaning because then I would love it again.

L.Earlier in the year I booked a 4 bedroom cottage for my extended family and we were all so impressed. From the beautiful local free range eggs and ciabatta to the cosy fire and Country outllook. We took our mountain bikes and went on a wine tour around the vineyards and biked over the Rimutaka incline during the day.
I've also enjoyed various treatments at the beauty spa on other occasions . The relaxing day spa includes complementary use of the pool, discreet yet well equipped gym and spa.
Lastly - Brackenridge has also hosted several functions and events that I've organised and they've taken care of everything from the decorations to the caterers. The beautiful facilities are some of the best in the region. Thanks team!

J.The 4 room apartment was ideal for our family of 6. 3 bathrooms, and rooms at each end of the apartment gave good privacy. Towels warming on the towel rails, a dozen eggs in the fridge for breakfast, plenty of cereal that got replenished every morning, beds straightened and linen replaced every morning... What you would expect, I know, but always appreciated. A wonderful fireplace and lounge to watch NZ v Argentina at the RWC. Fascinating New/Old flavour with the wooden farmyard doors and fittings but all new. A great central spot for wandering around the Wairarapa and Wellington. Thanks Leeann and team.
