m.We stayed 4 nights and we loved every single bits of it! The staff are very very friendly and helpful. Of course credit to the Tiu the Cat 😍😍. The place are clean and well maintained. A free council pool just next door! It is surely the highlight of a hot summer camping day. There is bike for hire as well. Very handy for a Martinborough Vinyard tour.

I stayed at Eketahuna campground in a cabin last night for $20 included all ammenities (including soap dispenser in shower).
Top 10 you need to pull your socks up a little aye.
M.Clean and friendly site. We enjoyed the short walk into the village and then back to play soccer on the field next door to the camping site. The kids enjoyed the playground especially the trampoline. Despite the rain we would definitely visit again!
P.Stayed here a month ago. Holiday Park was quite good, Facilities clean & tidy. Handy for day trips to Castlepoint, Lake Ferry & the quaint small towns of the Wairarapa. While it didn't have a pool, there was a free Council one next door which was a bonus. No reason why I wouldn't come back.
T.Great holiday park. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the toilets are clean, the showers are clean, powerful and well designed, the kitchen is good, there's actual proper free WiFi (rather than a complimentary 100MB), it's close to town but also quiet. And best of all, they have a cat. My constructive feedback would be that washing machines that also did a hot wash would be nice and as the rental bikes are similarly priced to the ones in town, they could use a bit of a tune up (gears, brakes etc.). 9/10 would visit again.

L.Friendly welcome. Standard dettached cabin as expected, comfortable bed & fridge & heater. Nice to have a jug & mugs to make hot drinks. Ablutions block and kitchen-dining area close by - both clean. Kitchen seemed suitably equipped for camp size, though it could use more tables as these were nearly always full due to wet weather. Walkable to wineries & town centre.
A.Great facilities - well equipped kitchenette, barbeques outside next to huge rosemary bush, toilet & shower block well maintained, clean and warm. The cabins looked fine and they are in the process of building new ones. Short walk into Martinborough with great local butcher & supermarket. Pool in summer. Nice people, really good campsite.
B.We stayed in a queen cabin and it was great. Basic (as to be expected) but really clean and a comfortable bed with loads of power points and a jug which was a nice touch.
The woman that met us was lovely and helpful and the bathrooms were really clean and well looked after
P.I would recommend this place to anyone. People that have young kids it would be better in the spiring/summer as the pool is right next door and the only thing lacking is the playground other than that its a perfect place to have a top 10
D.Males only have 2 toilets (no urinals) and 2 showers which isn't a lot for the size of the place. Had to put up with loud music till the early hours of the morning on a Saturday night, not from camp itself but be warned it's not that quiet.
L.This ever evolving camp site has good shower block kitchen ect. There is a vineyard walk close by and it's a short walk to town. There is also a public swimming pool right next door.
L.Nice camp ground with good amenities and great location. Three taps were leaking badly and when I spoke to the lady at reception she said they had been like that for a while. I don't think this is acceptable in a notoriously dry area of NZ with signs everywhere saying to conserve water and take short showers. The internet is bad and drops out, but I think this was due to the number of people trying to use it.
D.This campsite is great. 5 minutes from town by foot and spacious, spotless, quiet and well managed. Highly recommended.
r.Just a small, charming holiday park in a quiet, semi-rural setting. Attractively designed amenities block, and you can walk into town. Certainly one of the best TOP 10 experiences we’ve had.
M.A lovely little campsite in this sleepy little town full of big hitting vineyards. Book early to avoid disappointment as it’s not a massive site. Also get here in plenty of time as the town is completely closed by 19:30 and if you want a drink or to eat out you may be disappointed if you arrive later.
There are lots of great vineyards in the area so do stop by.
S.Fabulous location in the heart of the town. You can walk everywhere! Plus, they rent bicycles and give you a winery map so that you can do a self-guided winery tour which i highly recommend. L.Before our New Zealand holiday, we heard that holiday parks are very popular with many travelers, so we decided to stay at one as part of our New Zealand experience. We booked a private cabin which contains bed, electric heater, side tables, reading lamps, electric teapot, cups and a chair. There was also a picnic table right outside. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and had electric blankets set up under the bedsheets. You can adjust the setting from 'off' to 3 depending on how warm you want the bed to be. Each side of the bed has its own setting, so your partner / significant other/ spouse / husband/ etc can set it up the way s/he would want it. I thought that was really nice. You can park your car right in front of the cabin. Shared showers, bathrooms and kitchen are very close and are very clean. Bath towels are provided as part of your stay in the cabin, and I saw the sign saying they can be exchanged daily at the front desk ( do I assume everyone - i.e. bikers, camper van guests, etc - gets the towels as part of the stay). They also have cabins with private showers, but we did not book that option. We cooked dinner in the kitchen- again it was very clean. The kitchen has fridge, electric stove, microwaves, pots, pans, hand held electric mixer etc. basically all you may need to make a meal. A large bag of ice can be purchased at the reception. You will have to clean and put away all equipment, etc. you used. The park is in short walking distance to the center of the town where multiple cafes, restaurants and wine shop are. It is also in a walking distance to multiple wineries and a local brewery. Bikes can also be rented at the park.

Die Lage ist wirklich gut. In nur 5-10 Minuten ist man zu Fuss im Zentrum von Martinborough mit seinen netten Cafes, Shops und einer kleinen Brauerei. Direkt neben an ist ein nettes, kostenloses Freibad. Der Holidaypark verleiht auch Fahrräder (für Kinder kostenlos), es war schön eine Tour durch die Weingüter zu machen. Bäder und Küche waren sehr sauber. Duschen und WCs waren wirklich gut, nur die Küche war sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. 2 einfache alte Kochplatten und ein kleiner Ofen der eigentlich nur ein besserer Toaster ist, hier sollte der Betreiber unbedingt investieren, dann gibt es auch die vollen 5 Sterne. Eine zweite Waschmaschine könnte auch nicht schaden, während unseres Aufenthalts (über Silvester) war sie im Dauerbetrieb, wir hatten erst am 3. Tag Glück.

I stayed at many holiday parks while traveling to New Zealand's one month motorhome. It was the smallest of all, but it is memorable.
Martinborough Village is a town centered around a vineyard that is not big in itself. The main winery can be reached by foot from here.
Hallpark is very small, but it is the same as other hallpark. Originally I was going to stay at the free campsite of West Lake, but I thought there were more hippies than I thought and I would have to sleep in a grassy place, so at 6 o'clock, I got out of there and made a reservation on the same day. We arrived here at around 7 o'clock, but the staff seemed to have kept us out of work.
I took a day off and went on a tour with a map of the winery I got from Harpak the next day. In retrospect, the wine of Martinborough seems to have been excellent. It would have been better if I rented a bicycle and had a tour of the winery with a little extra time here. Perhaps Asian people are so proud of it that they have not come a few times a year.

통가리로 트레킹을 끝내고 남부로 넘어가기 전에 장장 4시간을 달려 도착한 마틴보로 마을. 이곳은 와이너리가 아주 유명한 동네이다.
뉴질랜드 한달의 캠핑카 여행을 하면서 많은 홀리데이 파크에 머물렀는데 탑텐 홀팍 치고는 가장 규모가 작았지만, 기억에 남는 홀팍이다.
마틴보로 마을자체가 크지 않은 와이너리 중심의 마을이다. 주요 와이너리 까지는 이곳에서 도보로도 다닐 수 있을 정도이다.
홀팍은 아주 작으나, 여타 홀팍과 동일하게 있을 것은 다 있다. 원래는 서편호수의 무료 야영장에서 숙박을 할 예정이었으나, 생각보다 히피족이 많았고 풀로 우거진 곳에서 잠을 청해야 할것 같아서 6시가 다되어 그곳을 빠져나와 급히 이곳으로 당일 예약을 했다. 7시가 다되어 이곳에 도착했는데 담당 직원이 퇴근을 하지 않고 우리를 기달려 주었던것 같다.
하루를 쉬고 다음날 홀팍에서 받은 와이너리 지도를 들고 투어를 나섰다. 돌이켜보면 마틴보로의 와인은 참으로 훌륭했던 것 같다. 이곳에서 시간적 여유를 조금 더 두고 자전거를 대여하여 와이너리 투어를 했더라면 더 좋았을 것 같다. 아마 동양인은 1년에 몇 명 오지 않은 그런 홀팍이라고 감히 자부한다.
한줄 요약 : 마틴보로 와이너리 투어가 필요하다면 이곳에 숙박하자.
